Thank you John for writing this poem just in time. It was a good one.  I love your advice about cry your eyes out because of extreme happiness and when you feel depressed laugh louder. I'd try to keep that in mind.

    Enjoy John's poem.

John's poem was fun to read. I sometimes find that nonsense poems (including John's) actually contain some good advice in an unconventional form. His descriptions of nature and dealing with life are interesting.

Thank you for reading and sharing your insights, Linda. I have to agree that nonsense poems often do contain good advice, even if sometimes rather cryptic.

This may be a nonsense poem, John. But it certainly is insightful, carries a wonderful message and has some degree of humor. I thoroughly enjoyed the poem. I also liked going through the list of top 10 nonsense poetry and also the video at the end. Thank you for sharing. I feel good about it all and hopefully my day will go well. All the best.

Thanks Gianella for sharing John's post.

    Hello John!
I enjoyed reading your poem, and although it is categorised as Nonsense, it makes lot of sense.
Laughing loudly, when in stress, is good to regulate blood pressure, as suggested by health experts. Life will be much better with a little bit of humour.
Connecting the senses with Nature is beautifully expressed.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful poem. Thanks to Gianella, as well.

      Hi Chitrangada.
Yes, even though a poem is classified as nonsense doesn't mean there is not some wisdom hidden within. Just a different way of getting the message across. Thank you for reading and appreciating.

Hi, John. Nonsense is refreshing. It’s a good break from the formalities of life. You have described it well in rhythmic words. I truly enjoyed  reading it.
    Thanks, Gianella, for posting it.

I love the poem because some of my senses overlap vis synethesia (sp?) -- sounds and colors, non-food words and flavors, etc -- like Disney's "All the Colors of the Wind."

Hey Patty, it’s great to receive a comment from you. I am glad you loved this poem. Yes, ‘synesthesia’ is the word, and it’s a new one on me. Have a great day/night.

John, I loved this poem. It made me want to go outside and just listen and watch, but it's too hot here, and besides, I have articles to write. Bummer! It is a lovely poem and, although it is a stream of consciousness, I think it makes perfect sense. Thank you, Gianella, for sharing it.

Hey Maria, thank you for reading. It’s good to hear the poem gave you the urge to go outside and use your senses to experience the wonders. Pity it is too hot there at the moment. Hopefully it begins to cool down in the coming days.

A delightful read, John. I'm back after a long break, but disappointed to see that the comments have yet to be restored! I enjoy sharing my poems, but without comments, it feels like I'm scribbling on a blank wall in some other planet where no one lives. Ha!
