Mike,  Thanks for posting this — it really shows that our current administration is gearing up for yet another conflict. After finally settling the Israel/Gaza war, they’re now turning their focus to stopping the war that ANTIFA has been waging on this country for decades. And you know what? I believe Trump and his team will finally bring them down. I have great faith that we now have the right people in place to put an end to the violence once and for all. Yeah, I have great confidence we’ll be seeing arrest after arrest.

        Shar,

I believe Antifa has fooled the gullible and those who can't comprehend reality.  There are those who don't want to know the reality of this group of criminals.

The rest of us who are Americans get it.  We know their goal is to destroy America and our systems.  I praise all that President Donald Trump and his administration is doing to stop them. I with them much success.

I would have no problem is a Supermax prison was build just for members of Antifa.  That would be quite fitting.

Mike, I completely agree. Antifa has definitely misled a lot of people who don’t want to face the truth. It’s clear they aim to undermine our country, and I fully support everything President Trump and his team are doing to stop them. A dedicated facility for them? Honestly, that would make sense.

Who is Antifa? We have asked and you haven't answered.

I know Trump stupidly thinks they are an organization with a leader and infrastructure.

Everybody knows that is not the case. They are a bunch of people who share a serious dislike for things Trump loves, Fascists and White Supremist, along with similar hate groups.

It has become very evident that I don't reply to your posts.  I am going to start reporting trolling and baiting posts that I receive. Maybe have a look at the rules that pertain here. Just pass my comment by.  You have some here who have no problem with the way you communicate.  So I am asking you politely to pass my comments up.

Rule 2. "Keep it civil. Debate and disagreements on points of substance are okay, but personal attacks, hate speech, petty bickering, trolling, and thread hijacking are not tolerated. By choosing to be civil, you make the discussion better for everyone involved."

I have had this discussion before, I speak boldly to call out lies, half truths and misunderstandings. If one does not want to be called out or challenged over these things, it is best not to post at all.

Conservatives would rather muzzle contrary thought and ideas than to be called to answer for them. It is so much easier?

You have been relentless in calling out BS wherever it is found. If that is offensive and uncivil then, I, too am guilty.

I consider all this as a war and we should never allow ourselves to be intimidated into silence by our adversaries.

Oh hell! It's the Three Musketeers!

                  GA*

*Mercy, please, grant me mercy. Just kidding around. Not intending to troll, but that was too tempting (those damn open doors again). My fingers were typing before I could stop them.

But they're not being disrespectful, I think your comment was correctly descriptive (except Cred, maybe), and it prompted a mental image of the three of you as Musketeers.

That's when the devil took over. (I didn't even realize my fingers were already typing).

As I'm wondering how you would look (I still haven't figured out what Cred would replace his girded loins with, or whether his guilted nib would be a musket or sword), I got stumped.

It seemed automatic that you would be some version of the swashbuckling girl in the Pirates' movies, and MyEsoteric would probably be like a wizened Sean Connery figure (including the wig), but Cred ...

Why is he the shortest one in that image? And that ruined it.  Cred can't be a Musketeer. I've seen 'short' as in midget, Musketeers, but that wasn't the image. It was just short.

Short doesn't work for girded loins or guilted nibs, I'll have to think of some other famous trio — maybe from the Spartans' time. Cred could be a Spartan. They can be short and girded. And nib to sword, easy peasy.

Except for the short part, I still can't figure out why I would think he was short.

Cred,  I believe that once someone has shared their point, they have every right to step away from further replies if it’s clear no agreement will be reached. When a person keeps repeating the same response after it’s already been acknowledged or dismissed, it crosses the line from discussion into trolling or browbeating. I’d also suggest reading this entire conversation before assuming I posted anything untrue. Much of what I share reflects my personal viewpoint, as most people here do. When I make a factual statement, I often provide a source. And when I’m speaking with someone who shares my perspective, I’m simply engaging in an open conversation with a like-minded individual. I’m not trying to silence anyone—but I won’t participate in trolling or baiting. Period.

Of course, you can always step away, but when you post you cannot compel others to do the same. You can simply ignore what you don’t want to acknowledge, who is being harmed by doing that? The alternative is an attempt to suppress speech and dissent, the sort of things that I accuse Trump of all of the time. I never said that you posted anything untrue, but your information and sources are not flawless, much of our information from either side would always have a little leaven in the loaf. Who amongst us is not tainted with bias in favor of our respective preferred ideology principles? You write profusely and you should expect frequent challenges to what you say. Just simply ignore that which you just as soon not listen to.

By the way, I was waiting for your reply regarding the abduction of the 15 year boy, you asked for clarifications….

                  1. Sharlee01 profile image84
Sharlee01posted 2 weeks agoin reply to this

I’m not stepping away. I’ve simply been choosing to ignore any comments or conversations that make me uncomfortable or that I don’t feel are worth engaging in. I have no desire to suppress anyone’s speech or dissent on this forum. What I do expect, however, is mutual respect, something I do my best to extend to others as well. Trolling, in my view, crosses that line. Some people make light of it, and that’s their choice, but I don’t.

I mostly share my views here, and when I make factual claims, I generally provide sources to back them up. I don’t appreciate when my opinions are labeled as “misinformation,” because to me, that signals the other person may not be distinguishing between opinion and fact-based discussion.

I’ll admit, I have biases; we all do. I try to leave them out when possible, but sometimes they’re necessary to make my point clear.

When I do reply, I tend to write in more detail than most. I believe that if I’m going to add something, it should be thoughtful, relevant, and often present the other side of the coin. If anyone here would recognize that effort, I’d like to think it would be you. I also think you’d agree that we’ve often taken on tough discussions, shared our views openly, and walked away with an understanding that we can “agree to disagree.”

So, I have to ask,  when we reach a standstill in a conversation, do either of us stop listening or resort to trolling? Or do we move on, respecting that the discussion has run its course?

Apparently, I missed your last post about the tragic situation with the 15-year-old autistic boy. We were having a good, productive back-and-forth on that issue. I’ll go back and find the comment I missed.

One of the reasons why ICE is so incredibly aggressive and has no problem with being recorded on video is that it hopes to trigger an aggressive reaction from people. They want the videos to go viral and stir things up.
Because if people react aggressively to these videos than ICE has a reason to be more aggressive.
It is classic bullying. But it is more. If aggression comes from these ICE actions, these incidents can be turned into excuses to run the national guard, It is a pretext to use bigger force and in the end disrupt the coming elections.
ICE are comparable with the brown shirts. Bullying people and making havock.
And in the mean you are not allowed to be anti fascist.
You can attack the capitol and get a free out of jail ticket, this is not seen as criminal.
But to call someone a fascist becomes a crime.
    How can you justify this?

    1. Willowarbor profile image60

It is always a win for Trump.

If you fight back he will call in the National guard and call out an national emergency.. And voting can be delayed or whatever.
If you do not fight back the intimidation and state terrorism will level up.

OR...a reason ICE is a little more aggressive than local police is that they have not been required, by long standing edict from their liberal employers, to go easy on criminals.  They are not required to do their jobs, without causing any harm to the criminals they are arresting.  They are a different breed of LEO, one that actually enforces the law rather than stand back and watch the crime happen.

Not sure what the rant about fascism is about.  The rioters that entered (not attacked) the capital spent time in prison, time beyond what would be normally given.  Nor is calling someone a fascist a crime, and there is no punishment given.  These are lies - you should check such things out better before repeating them.

      1. peterstreep profile image82
peterstreepposted 2 weeks agoin reply to this

I did not say that calling someone a fascist is a crime. But that it can become a crime. As you can be accused of being an Antifa. As a terrorist can be taken into custody without charges in the USA.
Enrique Tarrio was sentenced to 22 years and released from prison by Donald Trump.

You call arresting and zip-tying children okay? You call those children and old ladies dangerous criminals?
There are simply too many wrong doings to call it an accident. You simply have to see the many videos on social media to see that the brutality of the arrest is a part of the strategy.

I take this to mean "follow local laws".  Can't say I'm surprised, though, that a priest is aiding criminals to avoid the law.  We see cities, mayors, governors, etc. all doing it - we even saw one legislator go to Mexico and bring one back with him!  When no one follows the law, and people are encouraged to violate it,  it is not particularly surprising to find that the church does the same.

"Two illegal migrants were taken into custody on Tuesday after crashing their vehicle into a Border Patrol vehicle in Chicago during an immigration enforcement operation, leading to a clash with protesters, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

Luis Gerardo Pirela-Ramirez and Yonder Enrique Tenefe-Perez, both from Venezuela, were detained Tuesday morning for allegedly ramming a Border Patrol vehicle and attempting to flee the scene, according to a senior DHS source.

The incident happened near South Avenue N, according to officials.

"This morning while conducting an immigration enforcement operation in Chicago a vehicle, driven by an illegal alien, rammed a Border Patrol vehicle and attempted to flee the scene," a DHS spokesperson said. "Border Patrol pursued the vehicle and was eventually able to stop it utilizing an authorized precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver. Once the vehicle was stopped, the suspects, who are both illegal aliens, attempted to flee on foot. As Border Patrol arrested the subjects and attempted to secure the scene a crowd began to form and eventually turned hostile and eventually crowd control measures were used."

"This incident is not isolated and reflects a growing and dangerous trend of illegal aliens violently resisting arrest and agitators and criminals ramming cars into our law enforcement officers," the spokesperson continued. "The fact that this attack was carried out by two illegal immigrants, highlights the need for federal law enforcement to continue to do their job of enforcing the laws of our nation —all while receiving no pay thanks to the Democrats’ government shutdown."

A crowd began to gather following the incident. Chicago Police said they attempted to de-escalate the situation as federal agents were preparing to leave, but people in the crowd began throwing objects.

Federal agents then deployed tear gas into the street, and 13 Chicago cops were exposed to the tear gas."

"Chicago Police Department officers responded to the 10500 block of S. Avenue N at approximately 11:07 a.m. for a call of an auto accident involving federal authorities," the police department said in a statement. "CPD was not involved in any of the federal operations occurring at that location. Upon arrival to the scene, officers documented the traffic crash. Because this incident involved federal authorities, additional CPD supervisors responded to the scene to ensure the appropriate course of action was taken."

"A crowd began to form and as federal authorities were leaving the scene, CPD members attempted to de-escalate the situation for the safety of everyone, including community members who were gathering at the location," the statement added. "Individuals then began throwing objects at the federal agents, at which point the federal agents deployed tear gas into the street. Thirteen CPD members were exposed to the tear gas. Exposure reports will be completed for all CPD members who were exposed to the tear gas."

Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker, a Democrat, accused Immigration and Customs Enforcement of "recklessly throwing tear gas into our neighborhoods and busy streets, including near children at school and CPD officers."

"The Trump Administration must stop their deployment of dangerous chemical weapons into the air of peaceful American communities," he wrote on X.

At least one person detained by Border Patrol was a 15-year-old American citizen, attorneys with the law firm Romanucci & Blandin said, according to Fox 32. The boy was "grabbed off a Chicago East Side street," slammed to the ground, kneed in the back and zip-tied by agents at around 12:30 p.m.

The boy was handcuffed and was placed in the back of a vehicle for five hours, the attorneys said, noting that he was not allowed to contact his mother during that time. It was unclear why the boy was detained.

"This is how people disappear in autocracies—grabbed off streets, held in unmarked locations, no calls to family, no stated charges, no due process," attorney Antonio M. Romanucci said in a statement. "A 15-year-old American citizen was effectively 'disappeared' for five hours in Chicago. This is not law enforcement; this is the playbook of authoritarian regimes."    https://www.foxnews.com/us/illegal-immi … protesters

AP News reports that a high-speed Border Patrol chase in Chicago ended in a crash during an immigration enforcement operation. The DHS stated that the pursued vehicle “rammed a federal vehicle” before attempting to flee, then agents used a PIT maneuver to stop it, and the suspects tried to run on foot.

The damage to the ICE vehicle clearly shows it was struck when the migrants rammed into it. Despite that, the migrants kept fleeing, and ICE pursued them until finally forcing the vehicle that had hit them off the road.

From someone who lives in the neighborhood.. these are neighborhoods where people live

"We’re angry at them for chasing people in our neighborhood, going full velocity on these streets when, you know, we have children walk around,” the witness said. “These children are going to school, you know? And they’re flying down the streets.”

At one point “they just started tear-gassing,” the witness said. “We were burning, I couldn’t even breathe"

The tactics of these goons is pure bullshit .  They are terrorizing neighborhoods and citizens.

One always has to fact check ANYTHING DHS puts out, and this is a good example of why:

      * ""Two illegal migrants were taken into custody on Tuesday after crashing their vehicle into a Border Patrol vehicle " - THAT is a LIE! It was the CBP vehicle that crashed into the immigrants vehicle using a PIT maneuver.

Obviously, after that initial LIE, everything that follows is questionable.

What is true is that these possibly illegal immigrants were pursued by an unmarked vehicle contain armed masked men. - Sane people would run from an illegal assault like that.

A check on the rest of the commentary finds much of it is overblown and some not true. Rocks were not thrown at the CBP, but maybe a couple of eggs were. The response was to heavily tear gas the Chicago Police on the scene.

For anyone following my comment about the illegal migrants who rammed an ICE vehicle, please take note that I cited reputable news outlets that covered this very incident. Unfortunately, my post is now being targeted by trolls with unreliable information.

"It happened following a chase that circled the neighborhood for nearly 30 minutes after, the Department of Homeland Security said, the driver, an alleged undocumented immigrant, rammed into their agents' vehicle.

Border Patrol followed the vehicle for about 30 minutes, and stopped it using a precision immobilization technique, or PIT, maneuver.

Two people, both living in the U.S. without legal permission, tried to run away, DHS said. They were taken into custody.

"Once the vehicle was stopped, the suspects, who are both illegal aliens attempted to flee on foot. As Border Patrol arrested the subjects and attempted to secure the scene a crowd began to form," DHS said."

AP --- "CHICAGO (AP) — A high-speed chase involving Border Patrol agents led to the pursued person’s arrest Tuesday afternoon in a residential street on Chicago ’s South Side, authorities said, and footage from the scene shows protesters gathering before agents deployed a tear gas to disperse them.

While federal agents conducted an immigration enforcement operation, a driver suspected of being in the country illegally rammed into a Border Patrol vehicle BEFORE FLEEING, Department of Homeland Security officials said. The agents chased the vehicle until the driver stopped and attempted to run away, according to DHS.

As agents arrested the person, a crowd began to form and “crowd control methods were used,” DHS officials said. Chicago Police Department confirmed that federal agents deployed tear gas into the street. Federal agents have deployed tear gas on other residential streets in recent weeks."

Can someone explain why federal agents are now allowed to arrest unarmed, innocent American citizens while depriving them of their Constitutional rights?

“They took my son ... ,” she said. “He was violated. They said they slammed him to the ground. I just want my baby back.”

Late Tuesday, attorneys from the Romanucci and Blandin law firm said in a statement that the boy was released after several hours in custody,

The boy, who is Hispanic and African American, was held in a garage for five hours “without informing his family, stating any charges, or allowing him to call an attorney,” the statement said. He is a U.S. citizen, as is his entire immediate family, the release said.

“He was then transported to a federal law enforcement facility not affiliated with CBP or ICE, where CBP agents held him, handcuffed, in the back of a vehicle in a garage—never booking him, never reading him his rights, never stating why he was detained, and never allowing him to contact his mother,” the statement read.

Lawyers railed against the brazen tactics used by the feds and said the firm is investigating possible constitutional rights violations, including due process violations.

“This is not law enforcement; this is the playbook of authoritarian regimes,” attorney Antonio Romanucci said in the release. “This behavior by people who have sworn to serve our communities and country is a painful parallel to the days of the Ku Klux Klan patrolling the streets with their faces covered, terrorizing people of color. This horrific behavior has to stop.”

Isn't it interesting that only sanctuary cities are having problems?

All the places that have decided to obey federal law and work with the federal government aren't having any problems at all.  Many of them support ICE operations.

So, if you fight the federal government they fight back.  If you obey the law and work with the federal government you have no problems.

It is so obvious.  The left may not understand that obeying the law has serious positive benefits.

Mike,  Here’s a perfect example of a mindset I just can’t understand. The other day, a migrant rammed into an ICE vehicle, damaging it and triggering a 30-minute chase. After all that, ICE finally performed a PIT maneuver to stop the car. The two illegal migrants fled on foot but were caught and arrested.

What I’ve seen circulating on social media—and even in some chats—is that people completely ignored how the incident began, what occurred prior to the migrants car being pushed off the road.

All they focused on was the final moment when ICE used the PIT maneuver, as if that were the whole story. Does that not show how some people only see what fits their narrative?

There are examples of this kind of selective outrage almost daily, but this one was so clear I had to point it out. This habit of cherry-picking facts to fit a viewpoint isn’t objective thinking—it’s a real symptom of TDS.

            Shar,

I want to correct your response as these were "Illegal" Migrants.

Yesterday these were some of the gems arrested by ICE agents.

Humberto Saul Rodriguez-Mendoza, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of cruelty to non-livestock animals – kill/poison/serious bodily injury in Parmer County, Texas.

Alexander Roderico Hernandez-Gomez, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala, convicted of first-degree assault & battery in Lexington County, South Carolina.

Yannick Damnga, a criminal illegal alien from the Central African Republic, convicted of aggravated assault – attempting to cause or causing bodily injury with a deadly weapon in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ronald Jean Jacques, a criminal illegal alien from Haiti, convicted of assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and attempted murder in Queens, New York.

Fernando Ramirez-Quirino, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico, convicted of aggravated sexual assault in Passaic, New Jersey.

            https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/09/18/ice … ssault-and

This is just a VERY small sample of individuals arrested by ICE.  Criminals taken off the streets and unable to criminalize Americans.

THESE are the people the left is trying to protect.  THESE are the types of people the left is willing to betray their country for.  This says quite a bit about the left and none of it good.

People are choosing to be here illegally.  If they willingly self deport they can get a free plane ride back to their country of origin and $1,000.  THEN, they can come back into the United States getting all the proper paperwork.

Don't those on the left realize this is more than fair?

Mike, cases like these really highlight why law enforcement and ICE deserve full support. This isn’t about politics; it’s about protecting Americans, enforcing accountability, and upholding the rule of law. The resistance we see from some people shows just how far common sense has been abandoned when it comes to safeguarding our country.

The voluntary self-deportation program is a prime example of the fairness the Trump administration is offering. If someone is here illegally, it is ICE’s job to handle their deportation. Yet it’s become obvious that some are more focused on defending illegal migrants than enforcing our immigration laws. It’s striking, these are the same people who protested supposed “genocide” in Gaza, and now that Trump is taking action on real issues they claimed to care about, they remain silent on his accomplishments.

Current official statement from DHS on

      Statement from DHS
      https://www.dhs.gov/news/2025/10/15/dhs … t-american
"DHS Sets the Record Straight on Vehicle-Ramming Attack and ‘Kidnapping’ Lie About American Teenager Who Assaulted Law Enforcement
      Release Date: October 15, 2025

DHS did not “kidnap” an American teenager but did arrest individuals who attacked officers

WASHINGTON – On Tuesday, October 14, as Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agents were conducting an immigration enforcement operation in Chicago, AN ILLEGAL ALIEN used his vehicle as a WEAPON and RAMMED a BORDER  PATROL VEHICLE. attempting to flee the scene.

Border Patrol pursued the suspects and managed to bring them to a stop after utilizing an authorized precision immobilization technique (PIT) maneuver. Agents apprehended and arrested the two illegal aliens from Venezuela who attacked law enforcement. While agents were trying to secure the scene, a violent mob surrounded law enforcement and began throwing objects at them, necessitating the use of crowd control measures and resulting in multiple arrests.

One of the assailants was a U.S. citizen teenager who threw an egg at a CBP officer’s head. He was also seen gathering rocks, admitted without questioning that he had thrown an object at the officers, and was arrested for assault. CBP also arrested another individual for throwing chemical munitions back at agents.

Despite the facts of the case, the mainstream media has falsely claimed that CBP “kidnapped” the teenager. Falsehoods like these are responsible for the rise in violence against law enforcement, including a 1000% increase in assaults against ICE officers.

“A US teenager was arrested for assaulting law enforcement in Chicago—any claims that CBP ‘kidnapped’ a U.S. citizen and held him in a warehouse are bizarre and categorically FALSE. These are more disgusting smears peddled by the media and billboard law firms,” said Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin. “This attack is not an isolated incident, and it reflects a growing and dangerous trend of illegal aliens violently resisting arrest, and agitators and criminals ramming cars into our law enforcement officers. Meanwhile those same federal law enforcement officers are going without pay thanks to Democrats’ government shutdown. The fact that this attack was carried out by two illegal aliens highlights the need for federal law enforcement to continue doing their job of enforcing the laws of our nation across the country.”

The driver of the vehicle in the ramming attack, Luis Gerardo Pirela-Ramirez, was arrested for assault on a federal agent. An illegal alien from Venezuela, he had previously been ordered to be removed from the United States by an immigration judge in August of 2024. Pirela-Ramirez was taken to the hospital after complaining of pain in his neck and leg. The passenger, Yonder Enrique Tenefe-Perez, also an illegal alien from Venezuela who was previously apprehended by Border Patrol in 2024, was also arrested as an accessory to the assault on federal agents.

Appeals Court Keeps Block on Trump’s Chicago Military...

A three-judge federal appeals court panel Thursday rejected President Donald Trump’s request that it overturn a lower court ruling barring his attempted military deployment in Chicago.

The Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals panel’s unanimous decision will for now partially halt Trump’s military intervention in the Windy City. The panel said the administration has offered “insufficient evidence” to justify the attempted takeover.

“We conclude that the district court’s factual findings at this preliminary stage were not clearly erroneous, and that the facts do not justify the President’s actions in Illinois,” the panel wrote.

SICKENING, LOOK AT THE FORCE USED ON ONE MAN... America is fully fascist...

ICE detain father at gunpoint—driving his 3 kids to elementary school.

He didn’t even have chance to put car in park—before agents broke window & dragged him out.

"Kids are so scared," wife said. "They say why did they want to kill their dad—because they pointed a gun at him."

Family says the man has a valid work permit—and just went in for his appointment last week with ICE’s Intensive Supervision Appearance Program.

ICE has threatened to transfer him hundreds of miles away to a detention facility in Texas or Louisiana.

The arrest occurred in Bowie, Maryland—about 20 miles northeast of Washington

They are clearly following the law by arresting individuals who are in the country illegally. Everyone has the opportunity to leave voluntarily, but if they choose not to, it’s obvious they will eventually be removed. What stands out in nearly every video is how often the illegal migrant becomes combative, forcing officers to use control measures, as seen in this latest clip. The man could have simply stepped out of the car, yet chose not to. It’s surprising that some still don’t understand—being in the country illegally means facing the risk of arrest, often in public and by surprise, since ICE conducts these operations that way to prevent potentially dangerous situations if they were to approach someone inside a home.  All are given due process by law.

Not sure why all of the arrests and attacks, brutal attacks on American citizens are being ignored.

And for that matter, there is absolutely no evidence to show that they are strategically targeting criminals... What has been shown is that ice is  little more than roving, poorly trained  bands of thugs indiscriminately profiling and chasing people through the streets of America...

No, enforcement does not have to look like this.

This is fascism.   It appears Trump  is fomenting unrest.  How long before these populations who are living under occupation rise up and really fight back?   Folks aren't going to continue to accept being subjugated and terrorized much longer

Come on, these fools are running through the streets with camera crews following them to capture content for ice Barbie's propaganda...

        Shar,

I think it's important to point out that everyone in the United States illegally is a criminal.

Here are the facts.  THIS is the law.

        8 U.S. Code § 1325 - Improper entry by alien

(a)Improper time or place; avoidance of examination or inspection; misrepresentation and concealment of facts
Any alien who (1) enters or attempts to enter the United States at any time or place other than as designated by immigration officers, or (2) eludes examination or inspection by immigration officers, or (3) attempts to enter or obtains entry to the United States by a willfully false or misleading representation or the willful concealment of a material fact, shall, for the first commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18 or imprisoned not more than 6 months, or both, and, for a subsequent commission of any such offense, be fined under title 18, or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both.

THIS is also the law of the land.  Why doesn't the left comprehend ICE is doing the job they are paid to do.

        8 USC 1225(b)(1) Expedited Removal

Expedited removal is a procedure established by the Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 (IIRIRA) that allows a Department of Homeland Security (DHS) official to summarily deport (remove) an individual without a hearing before an immigration judge or review by the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA).

Under 8 USC 1225(b)(1), an alien (anyone who is not a U.S. citizen or national) can be subject to "expedited removal" from the United States under the following general conditions:

The alien is inadmissible under either of the following two provisions:
Material misrepresentations, fraud, and false claims to U.S. citizenship (a ground for deportation under INA 212(a)(6)(C) [8 USC 1182(a)(6)(C)] ; or
Lack of valid entry documents (a ground for deportation under INA 212(a)(7) [8 USC 1182(a)(7)])
        … and

        The alien is either:
"Arriving in the United States" or
The alien is present anywhere in the United States without having been admitted or paroled into the United States (i.e., entered the U.S. without inspection) less than two years immediately prior to the date of the determination of inadmissibility under this provision.
Since DHS can do this directly without a hearing with an immigration judge, individuals who are placed in expedited removal have less access to full due process. Deportable individuals not subject to expedited removal would have to be placed in standard removal proceedings before an immigration judge.

        .

A ProPublica investigation that found more than 170 U.S. citizens had been detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers this year.

The ProPublica investigation, published Thursday, identified cases of citizens being detained by ICE officers at raids or protests. Officers arrested about 130 U.S. citizens and held nearly two dozen for longer than a day without allowing them to call lawyers or family members.

Reporters found at least three instances of pregnant people being detained and multiple instances of citizens being shot, tased, beaten or otherwise physically harmed by officers.

ICE has the power to arrest U.S. citizens if they interfere with or assault officers. ProPublica’s reporters identified 130 instances where U.S. citizens were accused of doing so but noted in almost 50 cases charges were dismissed or never filed.

      Oh ICE BARBIE...

BREAKING: Noem gets caught in a HUMILIATING scandal as her department gets caught blatantly lying about a drug bust photo to bolster support for  Trump's murderous strikes in the Caribbean.

This is a stunning new low for this administration...

“Colombian President claims one of the Narco boats destroyed by the US Naval Task Force was ‘just a poor Colombian fisherman’. Does this look like a fishing boat? It looks like he had tons of bait (cocaine, attracts lots of fish). Colombian president is a liar!!” the DHS News account posted on Monday along with a photograph of a boat with four motors and what appeared to be bags of drugs.

The post was quickly deleted after social media users pointed out that the photo was actually from a 2024 drug raid operation south of the Canary Islands. It was reported on by El País and completely unrelated to the boats that Trump is now extrajudicially bombing.

“This photo is from a drug bust that occurred in 2024, zero ties to the current situation,” stated a community note added to the post.

Trump has carried out at least seven strikes on boats in the Caribbean that we know about, killing over 30 people so far. While he has insisted that the victims are narcotraffickers, he has provided zero evidence for his claims. The fact that his Department of Homeland Security is now using fake photos to spread lies about the victims indicates that they likely have no evidence and are in fact killing innocent people.

Colombian President Gustavo Petro recently revealed that at least one of Trump's victims was an innocent "lifelong fisherman" whose boat was damaged and adrift.

At this point, we cannot believe a single word that comes out of this administration. They lie as easily as they breathe and grow more shameless about it with each passing day. Every single one of them needs to be investigated and prosecuted where appropriate.

Those who oppose Trump's terrorism in the high sea can threaten to Courts Marial any military member who carries out an illegal order.

As soon as Democrats take over Congress, impeach Trump on High Crimes, which murder is. It should be easy enough to prove if Columbia cooperates.

Border Patrol chief Gregory Bovino accused of violating restraining order by throwing tear gas in Chicago...

U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commander Gregory Bovino is accused of violating a temporary restraining order blocking federal agencies from using certain tactics to suppress protests or prevent media coverage of immigration enforcement operations in Illinois.

In their filing, the plaintiffs include a screenshot from the same video, and say it shows Bovino throw "either one or two tear gas canisters over the heads of armed federal agents in front of him and in the direction of a crowd of individuals protesting, including an individual filming the encounter."

The plaintiffs argue this violates "multiple paragraphs" of the court's Oct. 9 order, which prohibits federal agents from arresting, threatening to arrest or using physical force against journalists unless there is probable cause to believe the individual has committed a crime. It also prohibits them from issuing crowd dispersal orders, without exigent circumstances, requiring people to leave a public place where they otherwise have a lawful right to be...

This is a left wing poll.  There was a right-wing poll that showed 78% of Americans support deporting all illegal aliens.  The bottom line is left or right both want the illegals deported.

Trump's deportation program nets positive approval amid contrasting views over its scope, CBS News poll finds

Views of the Trump administration's deportation program headed into this weekend with positive net approval from Americans, including continued strong backing from the Republican base — but also heavily shaped by contrasting views about which people, and how many, are being targeted for deportation.

A slight majority feel the administration's deportation efforts are prioritizing people they believe are dangerous criminals. Those who say this are very supportive of the program, and feel the program is making people in the U.S. safer.

But if people don't think it is dangerous criminals who are the focus of the deportation effort, support drops dramatically.

The survey was completed just prior to Saturday's protests and events in Los Angeles.

In terms of how many people the administration is trying to deport, more is not necessarily better in the public mind.

I think we should have a support ICE rally.  I would to to that.

Well if you doubt it, maybe you should post some recent polling then...ice and border patrol are brutalizing, antagonizing and detaining American citizens... These asshats aren't addressing illegal immigration, they are roaming streets targeting brown people.  Americans aren't stupid, we see what is happening...

              Or as Bovino says...

Anyone who looks like they're nervous or maybe gripping the steering wheel too tightly...

              My god...

That isn't what's happening though. What's happening is that  they are chasing, intimidating, brutalizing, arresting and detaining citizens and those who are here lawfully. They are taking these actions without even checking victim IDs...Bovino said himself they're looking for people who look nervous, grip a steering wheel a little too hard... People are being indiscriminately targeted.  There is absolutely no targeted enforcement happening.

Yes Greg Bovino admits on camera that his agents can detain people if you look scared, change your demeanor, or grip a steering wheel too tight.... Just say you're pleased with this Maga...

As his unmasked agents walk around with large guns to scare you, they may arrest you just for that..
        even if you're a U.S. citizen.

You know at a certain point, right wingers are going to have to come to terms with the violence, the brutalization, the Injustice that is being wrought on American cities that are under military occupation... Personally I want to see these folks fighting back
