It is to me. It is nauseating mostly, because most people really do get how racist they come off.
I have a son, and he is starting to question this racist crap, and I just do not want to explain this stuff to him yet. Again, this -- pretend issue -- is nauseating.
What are your thoughts?
IS RACE THE ISSUE SOME QUESTION PRESIDENT OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP?
I honestly don't think so. I think the reason people have questions about him in general is the things we do know are often so troubling and outside of the experience of most Americans.
His church affiliation with a pastor who made anti-American statements after 9/11 and whose entire ministry is built on anti-white Black Liberation theology is troubling.
The removal of his flag lapel pin after 9/11? Troubling.
His association with ACORN. Troubling.
His Communist mentor, Frank Marshall Davis? Troubling.
His confused and unusual upbringing by a left-leaning family who encouraged his relationship with the hard drinking, America hating Davis? Troubling.
His failure to make available his school records which every other president to my knowledge has made available? Troubling.
Having a foreign born father who was not a citizen of the United States? Odd.
Six other presidents had foreign born fathers, one had both parents foreign born, but they all became citizens and the presidents were born to these American citizens.
It is true, Barack Obama, is the most exotic president we have had in many respects. But I think what makes people wonder about him is that so often the things we DO learn turn out to cause disquiet.
If what we know is troubling and disconcerting, what about the information that is being withheld?
Mysteries abound. The mutiple social security numbers. The social security number he does use which was issued in Connecticut, a state where he has never lived. His mother excluding him as her dependent on her passport or repatriation application when she was in Indonesia. The adoption of Barack Obama by Lolo Soetero which would have required his Hawaiian birth certificate to reflect his new last name, Soetero, by law.
Too many mysteries about this man. No matter what color he is.
Add to that the continuing insults Americans feel from Barack Obama.
This recent invitation to the White House of a man highly respected in some circles for his music or poetry, but who nevertheless has clearly and openly praised and supported a person who killed a police officer and who is clearly a bigot by his own words against interracial marriage is seen by many as just the latest example in a continuing pattern of disrespect.
If it is not disrespect then is it that he is so steeped in and loyal to the black culture he chose to adopt, and antagonistic toward white culture that these actions don't even raise a blip on his radar. If that were the case then he must be culturally isolated despite his many associations with white people from many walks of life and places in society. I can't believe he doesn't understand he is dissing Americans
My personal discomfort with Barack Obama has to do with the racism HE shows toward Americans. There are more examples and I could go on.
That"s a poor excuse AnnCee, A long poor excuse.
Your reasons for opposing Obama is those things that is troubling to MOST Americans???. The things you mentioned sound to me like excuses instead of an explanation or reason. But, that's just me.
Really? To me they sounded like legitimate concerns and questions. What I think is troubling is your linking opposition to Obama as racism. I think many confuse the two. The way I see it is Obama is being treated the same by his opposition regardless of color and that is a testament to a lack of racism. Racism would be treating him differently simply because he is black.
What white man running for office--ANY office-- ever had his birth questioned?
John McCain. Jack Kennedy had his religions questioned.
True. A lot of pundits doubted that the country was ready to elect a Roman Catholic. Kennedy and Jackie were an unusually attractive couple as are Barack and Michelle Obama.
Really? I do not find either "B" or "M" attractive. I suppose it is a matter of taste.
Does it matter? I care not for his blue lips and huge ears. And that is just for starters. I have never cared for thick women. Ugh.
Yes, it matters quite a lot. In either case superficial.
Which is why it is a matter of taste. :-)
My wife, who has very good taste, after all, she chose me, does not find him attractive either.
But my marriage was. I am absolutely handsome. :-)
For many it is a matter of race, but they don't like to admit it.
That's how the GOP took the South away from the Democrats--race and social issues. They got the poor whites to vote against their own economic interests. The GOP race card persists to this day. As I recall even McCain kicked off his campaign with a speech at Bob Jones "University."
How do you know this?
Caution: Revisionist history spotted. The Democrats were the racists then (and now). The Republicans were for meritocracy, for liberty, for limited government.
You will have to get a McCain supporter on this one. McCain has never been a conservative. He is barely a Republican.
"How do you know this?"
I'm clairvoyant.
"Caution: Revisionist history spotted. The Democrats were the racists then (and now). The Republicans were for meritocracy, for liberty, for limited government."
Not revisionist history. The GOP, led by Nixon, took over the South after the Brown v. Board of Education decision and Dems under LBJ passed the Civil Rights Act and the Voter Rights Act. The GOP employed a conscious racist strategy. The Dem racists were supplanted by GOP racists.
"You will have to get a McCain supporter on this one. McCain has never been a conservative. He is barely a Republican."
McCain was following in the footsteps of Nixon, Reagan and Bush I & II--pandering to southern prejudice and social conservatism.
Here is what Wikipedia says about GOP Southern Strategy:
"In American politics, the Southern strategy refers to the late-20th century Republican Party strategy of winning elections in Southern states by exploiting anti-African American racism among Southern white voters and appealing to states' rights. Though the "Solid South" had been a longtime Democratic Party stronghold due to the Democratic Party's defense of slavery prior to the American Civil War and segregation for a century thereafter, many Southern Democrats were still welcomed in the party following the African-American Civil Rights Movement, the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Voting Rights Act of 1965, and desegregation.
"The strategy was first adopted under future Republican President Richard Nixon in the late 1960s and continued through the latter decades of the 20th century under presidents Ronald Reagan and George H. W. Bush.[1] The strategy was successful in achieving its goals; it led to the electoral realignment of Southern states to the Republican Party, but at the expense of losing more than 90 percent of black voters to the Democratic Party. As the 20th century came to a close, the Republican Party began trying to appeal again to black voters, though with little success.[1] During the 2000s decade, Republican National Committee Chairman Ken Mehlman formally apologized for his party's use of the Southern Strategy in the previous century. Michael Steele served as the party's first African-American chairman from January 2009-January 2011."
"Atwater on the Southern Strategy
As a member of the Reagan administration in 1981, Atwater gave an anonymous interview to Political Scientist Alexander P. Lamis. Part of this interview was printed in Lamis' book The Two-Party South, then reprinted in Southern Politics in the 1990s with Atwater's name revealed. Bob Herbert reported on the interview in the 6 October 2005 edition of the New York Times. Atwater talked about the GOP's Southern Strategy and Ronald Reagan's version of it:
Atwater: As to the whole Southern strategy that Harry S. Dent, Sr. and others put together in 1968, opposition to the Voting Rights Act would have been a central part of keeping the South. Now [the new Southern Strategy of Ronald Reagan] doesn’t have to do that. All you have to do to keep the South is for Reagan to run in place on the issues he's campaigned on since 1964 and that's fiscal conservatism, balancing the budget, cut taxes, you know, the whole cluster.
Questioner: But the fact is, isn't it, that Reagan does get to the Wallace voter and to the racist side of the Wallace voter by doing away with legal services, by cutting down on food stamps?
Atwater: You start out in 1954 by saying, "Nigger, nigger, nigger." By 1968 you can't say "nigger" — that hurts you. Backfires. So you say stuff like forced busing, states' rights and all that stuff. You're getting so abstract now [that] you're talking about cutting taxes, and all these things you're talking about are totally economic things and a byproduct of them is [that] blacks get hurt worse than whites. And subconsciously maybe that is part of it. I'm not saying that. But I'm saying that if it is getting that abstract, and that coded, that we are doing away with the racial problem one way or the other. You follow me — because obviously sitting around saying, "We want to cut this," is much more abstract than even the busing thing, and a hell of a lot more abstract than "Nigger, nigger."[6][7]"
Hmmm--How about "the Food Stamp President"! That's a new one.
"Urban", that's another one they use. Palin used the "Real Ameican" code for white people. Hilary said "Hard-working white people"...I mean--it's all over the place!!!
Only way you miss it is if you're an "obstinant boob".
(that's my code for Republican, LOL.)
Uh, thanks for that. I am glad I have a job but it sure puts me at a disadvantage when it comes time to go find posts that support my point of view.
McCain actually WASN'T born here too--how do you like that?
And remember what Bush did to him in 04? The black baby thing...was THAT racist? ........
Kennedy was questioned on his religion---so is Obama! First he was a "bad" Christian, now he's a muslim.
Which is it to you? Is he an impersonating Christian in your eyes?
A muslim pretending to be christian?
What???
I'm not sure I'd have to research it. In any case to be president of the USA you have to be a natural citizen, color isn't a requirement, that's the law. Apparently there were legitimate questions about Obama's eligibility which could have been put to rest years ago by showing his birth certificate. For some reason he refused to do so until recently so he must have had a reason for promoting the unecessary controversey.
________________
Every President, even the green ones, have to prove they were born in America.
The reason you didn't notice it before is because they proved it and President Obama had a hard time proving it and It became an issue at that point.
He wasn't being harassed because he is half black.
Why do you blame the "White" man for everything that goes wrong?
And Obama is half white not just black. He was raised in white households. Do you hate that half of him?
You're right, Deborah, Obama is half white and he wasn't raised in black America.
He chose to embrace that aspect of the black experience in America that emphasizes social justice. He signed on to live within the subset of African Americans who embrace Black Liberation Theology. Within that social and political culture is where he chose to seek political power in order to pursue an agenda of wealth redistribution.
AnnCee,
He also married into the African American subset. Within that social and political culture is his wife and children. What half is his better half?
You really shoul have put an IMO on that one.
And I personally am glad to see a man who doesn't deny the history of America, like so many white people do.
We OWNED people----you get that?
Then, we threw them in ghetto's to get them out of the way, imo.
Black unemployment is double that of whites.
Common is smeared, Nugent is given a pass....it's all too typical.
Race is the issue.
I don't hate any half of it!!!
Neither does Obama!!It is YOU people who label him a hater and expect him to have to defend it.
Nice smear, I must say. ALso the one where you all say "I don't hate, I'm passionate about my beliefs. YOU, however, hate."
What a load of rubbish.
I don't see one ounce of hate in Pres Obama...not one.
I see plenty here on these boards for him.
I see plenty out there in politics for him.
I hear it if I choose to poison my mind with Hate-talk radio, and I can see it if I choose to watch hate-tv on Fox.
It would serve your cause (not you personally!!) better if you just stuck to the issues. But you see, I think it's all about race too--and so you can't.(generic you)
Some people (not you personally) can't accept that we have a black president.
And so, EVERYTHING about him MUST be questioned.
The worst is this whole patriotic BS.
All you (generic)I'm sure had your hands on your hearts and your flag pins on your lapels when that UN patriot act was passed, and when the last adm broke laws and spit on the Constitution. "I'm the decider" "I AM the federal gvt."....
Funny---we were called traitors for critisizing Bush...funny how quickly perceptions change huh?
Maybe WE were the true patriots all along!not you (generic)
That is pathetic. Obama didn't have a hard time proving it. He went through the legal steps like everyone else does, and it was verified during the campaign, legally. The issue was people like you refused to accept it, over and over again...and still do. What is the reason you refused to accept it? Hmm...the scary name or the black skin? I wonder.
Or any of the other lying crud that is said about him daily,
Obviously people don't say "I didn't vote for him and hate his guts because he is black,"
Racism is still rampant in America, they just don't admit it anymore as it is no longer acceptable to be a racist.
It is so easy for those outside the states to spot these low life liars.
Or hating his guts because he is black, then justifying it with partisan politics like many do. It is not cool to be openly racist anymore, even in America.
..Probably be ok if Barrack was Mexican though
President Obama does not appear to be black. From my perspective he is one-sixth black, one-sixth white, and two-thirds red. Most of us cannot stand red presidents. It is the socialism, not the skin color.
You would hate my country then!
Free medical care, good social security, and currently one of the best performing economies in the world.
True. It always seems best to those who leech. For the productive people in your country I imagine it is getting rather old.
Yeah--in America, it's the upper classes that leech!
Like blood-suckers. slurp slurp
So productive people never get ill, and never need social security!
Productive people pay their own way. Sick or not. I would not participate in the Ponzi scheme known as Social Security. But I was forced to. So when it is time I will take out everything I can, up to the limits the government promised when it strong-armed me.
So all productive people can afford to cover themselves for extensive periods of illness, even when those productive people are on the minimum wage.
Plenty of productive people are unemployed. And what do you think people who are being paid the minimum wage are doing if not being productive? They are doing all kinds of useful, productive things for very low wages, in many cases because that is the only work they can find although they are educated and capable of doing higher paying jobs if they were available.
Our definitions differ. One cannot be productive if one is not producing.
Productive people are generating value far in excess of their pay. Minimum wage earners do not, as a rule, generate far more value than what they are paid.
They may be fine people but the are not productive if they are not producing.
Why do you think they are "not producing." Why would someone pay them if they are not producing?
Now that was clever the way you eliminated what I was responding to. You said something like, "Plenty of productive people are unemployed".
If they are unemployed they are not producing. Therefore, they are not productive.
What rot!
Are you telling me that, say, a burger flipper is not producing anything?
Someone who cooks hamburgers might be productive. If the value he or she is producing significantly exceeds his cost then he is productive. Otherwise, no.
So you do accept that somebody on the minimum wage can be productive then!
Do you therefore accept that there are some productive people who can not afford health and social care?
It is the sad fact that people languish in positions that do not reward them sufficiently to care for all of their own needs. Perhaps the question one should be asking is how and why does this happen. Most low paying jobs are beginning low skill jobs. The marginal utility of the work usually helps determine the price paid for it.
Economics is far more complex than just saying things that make us feel better. The incredible number of events and decisions that make up a simple economic transaction like producing and selling even one hamburger is staggering.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d6vjrzUplWU
Possible. Unlikely.
Possible. Irrelevant. There are people who cannot afford cars and houses. Am I to buy them a car and a house too? Health care is a good or a service. One has no right to health care.
Someone earning minimum wage is productive if the wage is being paid by a private employer. No job exists that does not produce some surplus value - to help the socialists. The value produced and the demands of the job keep the age low but it does produce value. If it did not than there would be no job.
I agree that someone earning minimum wage may be producing value above his wage.
In my opinion to be productive one must produce substantially more value than one's wage.
As one of those productive people, with 35 years of business ownership behind me, I can assure you we are OK with supporting our poor and paying taxes to have a free heath system.
A country is only as strong as it's capacity to look after it's weakest.
Then I am very happy for you and England.
Er, Earnest is actually Australian, but glad you are happy for England, a bit thin on socialism but still a great place to live.
Then you need glasses...if you saw him walking down a deserted alley toward you you would say he was a black man.
And Obama is not a socialist...
It's funny how things that were considered middle of the road in the 60s and 70s are now socialist.
I think he is way more red than black or white.
You may be right. Technically he is a Marxist.
Could you give me some examples?
She made a fair summation of lots of issues that have arisen over the past few years in rebuttal to the forum topic. The Democratic way would be to democratically address them, not carte blanch throw her opinion out as unimportant and wrong, she is after all an American, one who spent some time answering the clearly deliberate inflammatory topic of this forum. Racism has become a tool in many venues today from all that I can tell from the news, and that is an insult to all of us, to humanity.
"Mysteries abound."
Internet garbage conspiracy theories abound.
Ancee, I gave you more credit than you displayed in this sick post.
IS RACE THE ISSUE SOME QUESTION PRESIDENT OBAMA'S CITIZENSHIP?
"I honestly don't think so."
Race certainly is the issue for many people based on the ugly, racist images that are circulating among Republicans.
I have noticed that since Obama has become President the term Racist has made a huge rebound. It has been used to describe anyone who disagrees with the man and his political views. I'm sorry but don't we live in America where I can have my own thoughts about the President? I don't think it had anything to do with race. It had more to do with him wanting to hide everything about his past. When you go out of your way to hide all the information and spending large amounts of money to keep it hidden then yes it is going to raise flags. It doesn't matter if your are black, white, purple or green.
The Founding Fathers whom most Americans hold in reverence, didn't have the correct birth certificates either.
Race certainly is a big issue for a lot of people who are circulating stuff on the Internet that looks like it came from the KKK in the 1930s.
Deleted
So, are you saying racism does not exist anymore?
I think the real issues are poverty in the material sense and poverty of mind which covers an absence of generosity of spirit towards others and an ignorance of much.
No, not for me. Its about politics. I supported Alan Keyes nearly 15 years ago a black conservative presidential candidate. I don't believe blacks just wanted a black president, I think they wanted a democrat first and a black democrat second. Alan Keyes got very little support from the black community. When Obama ran the black vote broke all previous voting records. Its not about race, on either side of the fence. However I am sure it can be for some depending on their individual situation. I cannot judge walking in another's shoes.
- Harlan.
Hey Harlan, I am agreeing with you on this.
I was proud of Obama, and talked him up all the time, but I was for Biden. LOL. I did not tell to many friends or family members that, because they hated what he said about Obama being clean, and articulate .... LOL. I just winced and said, he has a bad habit of putting his foot in his mouth. He means well. Oh, man I am just glad I was not called a traitor to the Black race. LOL.
N.E.
The color of one's skin, or the aquiline shape of the nose ... does not distinguish one, as superior to another human ...
I agree ... this Racist business is indeed Crap ... But its a well barricaded Crap ... so teach your son, how to live in it ...
Madam ... Trust me, it is ... the Crap we both say it is.
Remember, the US, is not the world ... and kids do play, make friends, as humans should ... without distinction ...
The problems begin, when kids grow up, and find,
Racism, Color, Religious Differences, etc. are our times related Un-natural ... Adult Games, governing, the cruel "Reality" .
I have a 9 yr old myself and he is asking about racism as well. He doesn't quite get it as most well adjusted people do.....what does the color of skin have to do with anything?
I do have to say I do not condone political correctness...which is causing racists to be secretly so....come on out and say it...don't just label it.
I am not a great fan of the Israelis...not the people but their government....same goes for the British government(Irish, you see) and I feel very comfortable to say it....why should my political views be kept secret because it might offend someone else....(remember freedom of speech)
Judge a person by their actions not their race.....but it should be taught that people do and that is not something that will change by labeling someone a racist.
My son is not understanding a thing. He just ask questions when he hears certain things on TV that catches his attention. I just do not know how to answer it. His best friend is not black. I do not want to taint anything.
Yeah, you have something there about the political correctness keeping racists hidden. Not all of them, but more than we realize.
At the same time, back in the day they were burning Mississippi. LOL. Can't win for losing with the race issue. LOL.
N.E.
Hello N.E. I personally believe race is not that much an issue. Yes you will have some that hate, Black, white, yellow it doesn't matter. If we truly had a race problem Obama could not be president. I just hate when people try and use race as a reason why I do not like Obama as President. I do not like his policies and what he believes in. I think all this throwing about race is causing more of a problem. Just teach your son that everyone is the same regardless of the color of your skin. My kids asked me years ago when they were young and I told them that years ago some people lived in a different parts of the world and sometimes when the weather was hot our bodies have protective defenses and over many many years the skin gets darker to help protect against the sun. That is why some Indians and Spanish people also have dark skin. I truly do not know if that was the proper answer but it did seem to work for me.
Also better watch out Texasbeater may accuse you of being so bad to have a score of 1. He thinks he knows everything but has never posted any actual facts to support his theories. You probably use this site as I do, I love to read and not a writer. I follow many people and I have been busy and have not been reading very much and that is the reason I had a 4 last week. I have taken sometime to start reading again and I'm back up to 38 and in a few weeks I will have a higher score then Mr. Texas knowitall. He has 5 hubs in many months and he thinks he is god. Ignore him if he states that you must be bad to have a score of 1. Hope that helps
Please explain your logic because it sounds to me like what you're suggesting is if a white man questions whether a black man has followed the law then it follows the white man is racist. Did I get that right?
What's truly nauseating is the thought that conservatives might have to go through another four years of being accused of racism just because we stand against Obama's socialist, vengeful, egotistical, mocking words and immoral agenda.
Obama, socialist! Ha, pull the other one.
No, ask Danny, he'll tell you I'm a socialist. Obama isn't, not even slightly.
Then you've got company, John, because Obama certainly IS a socialist. His wanting to increase the taxes on the "rich" is solid proof that he is a Marxist.
I want to increase taxes on the rich, and I know squat about Marxism.
Stop labeling! People can have independent thoughts outside of your concepts.
In order for an economy to thrive, taxes on the income of the "rich" must be held to a minimum -- Economics 101.
That's complete baloney. I majored in economics as an undergrad and took graduate work in economics as well.
Also, lovemychris, do not ever order me to do anything again.
Do not ever tell me what Barack Obama is or isn't again....I'll take HIS word for it!
Wanting people to pay their fair share of taxes isn't even entirely Marxist, let alone socialist.
John, are you aware that the income tax did not into being in the U.S. until 1913 when the country was well over 100 years old?
There was a short lived income tax assessed during the Civil War. Unlike law makers of the mid-19th century, lawmakers in the 20th century have never met a tax they didn't want to extend in perpetuity.
He always is.
Edit.. on historic facts anyway.
With sufficient meditation you may find out how right I am. I actually claim no right to right. Just the stick in the pudding.
I was trying to remember the issue we disagreed on. You were right about the facts we disagreed on what they meant I think.
I guess my Jedi mind tricks must be getting rusty. Maybe it is time for a little deprivation , meditation and swamp world calisthenics.
Truly Looney! I love how these people invent definitions. He wants to raise taxes on the rich, so that is communism huh? Moronic. Buy a dictionary
It's such a lame and self-destructive intellectual cop out. Facts go out the window, logic goes out the window, truth goes out the window.
All those things I said are verifiable truths.
You're right, both Brenda and N.E., it is nauseating.
You're right AnnCee If you don't like Obama because he is black, that don't make you a racist. that would be just a fact, and your right. You could not like lady Love because she is white and still you wouldn't have to be a racist. A racist is not the same as racism, a racist can be tolorated but not racism
I don't like Barack Obama because he is bent on fundamentally changing this country toward a more socialistic model of bigger government and more top down control. I don't like big government and I think government in general is subject to corruption at every level, opaque, and retarded in the true sense of that word.
"The government that governs least, governs best."
But go ahead, as I know you will, shout racist all day long. It also works to block out inconvenient truth if you simply cover your ears and sing, "lalalalalalalalalalalala."
That would deny you the sublime pleasure of insult of course.
Hmmm--I don't like the treatment of the Palestinian people by the Israeli gvt, and I'm labeled an anti-semite.
Look in the mirror much AnnCee?
AnnCee, I didn't get that reply. Your bottom line was vague.
Ann is right. Obama is a revolutionary. Always has been, always will be. It was out there to see before he was elected, and who he has chosen to represent him since he was elected just proved what many of us already knew. I've done backgrounds on everyone he appointed. All are radicals. If you like that, fine. But let's not pretend it is not who he is, and what his vision for the country is.
Ann didn't say that, who are you to put words in someone's mouth. A revolutionary. That's a new attack, you go freenaz.
Obama is an invisible person. His past is vague, at best. Sinister, at worst. Where was he born?? I have seen no solid answer to that yet. Where is the state seal on the new long form BC?? This has been asked and not answered ever since he released it.
"Where was he born?? I have seen no solid answer to that yet. Where is the state seal on the new long form BC??"
Do you read newspapers or watch TV? His long form Hawaiian birth certificate has been on line. His short form certificate of live birth has been published since he became a candidate?
Obama is hardly a revolutionary. He's a very cautious, pragmatic moderate Democrat.
Well-said Ralph. Obama is extemely pragmatic yet is branded as some revolutionary. I have yet to be able to figure that one out yet. The only real dogmatism, if you want to call it that, he has exhibited was on healthcare reform. But one could argue that was packed with much pragmatism as well.
Actually I prefer to get my news surfing the internet. Where is the state seal of Hawaii on the new BC? The question is out there, and has gone unanswered.
As I suspected. I read on the Internet not long ago that twelve foot alligators inhabit the sewers beneath New York City. They have grown up from pet alligators brought back from Florida and flushed down the toilets. Obama's full birth certificate has been published right here on HubPages.
THIS NON-ISSUE WAS PUT TO BED SOME TIME BACK - REMEMBER?
Sorry, DTR, despite best efforts at "move on" ploy, the layered document did not satisfy experts.
Add to that the fact that the doctor referred to at White House site did not match the doctor who signed the long cert provided by Obama.
Add to that the question of Obama's adoption by Soetero not being reflected on the cert which would be against Hawaiian law.
And more . . .
Not dead. Not over. Not done. Not gone.
Still here.
Moderate democrat???????? More lies by Ralphy boy! even the democrats know he was the most liberal person on his voting record! why do you always lie?Have you seen his record as a senator??????????????? please ralph stop with the BS already! you never post any facts and when someone has you, you fade away for a while then reappear. You post talking points and half truths. A moderate democrat! please, would you like to has his record as senator posted for you?
Absolutely clueless and without a point as always...good job Danny. Way to, well, contribute absolutely nothing as usual.
you need help ralph? Thanks for what? for trying to degrade people without any facts posted? His his word GOD? Everyone knows he thinks he is and knows all but sorry to inform he is just a miserable person who needs to put people down to make himself feel better.
Oh so he was not the most liberal senator before being president? If you think this is not true, you are the clueless one! All you do is put down people? You truly must hate your life boy! That is the quality of a person who hates himself and has to put down others to make him feel better about his pathetic life. You will deny it but Many know it is true! Like I said before a few people privately emailed me telling me not to respond to you and let you just fade into hub land because of your childish behavior. I think I will listen to them as I do not need to prove anything to you. And anyway you think you know all anyway. So Mr. Know it all go talk nasty to others and get suspended again as you stated a few days ago. I guess Hub pages just suspended you for talking sweet and they are full of $hit also.....Is that right? Good Luck you will definitely need it! Very sad
Might have to go throug? Naaa.. Your going to. Why? Because, instead of focusing on the issues the right has resorted to name calling, conspiracy theories and generally poking holes in the other sides ideas. In short the Right is mistaking movement for action. It's going to get Obama re-elected.
"When Republicans insist on using pat phrases to describe policies instead of putting together agendas of real substance, the outcome satisfies neither side of the debate. When partisans begin calling public schools "government-run propaganda camps" and "indoctrination machines" clearly reason has been lost in a political firestorm. And what good does it do anyone to frame debates in jargonesque patois that appeals to mindless legions of voters who intone concepts like "smaller government", lower taxes and balanced budgets without attending to the results of their rhetoric? How can differences ever be reconciled when they are never clearly enunciated?"
http://blog.buzzflash.com/node/12705
"Add to that the continuing insults Americans feel from Barack Obama."
What Americans? I've never felt insulted by him. And yet you say that as if every body feels the way you do!
It's a Fox ploy: "All Americans", "Americans", "The American People"...as if they speak for everybody.
You don't. In fact, we are not in the same hemisphere as far as thought goes.
So please, refrain from speaking for Americans. You speak for people who think like you. Period.
No, the Katy Couric-led-left-wing-dominated news media are the ones who have worn out the description, "The American People".
I wouldn't know--I never watch prime time anything.
I'm talking about the right wing--in gvt and out.
They have NO CLUE what I want....and I'm an American People.
If you don't watch "prime time anything", how do you know about "Fox ploys"?
I feel insulted by Obama quite often, and it is nothing to do with his race. More the snide way he deals with people and issues he does not agree with. For example, the way he addressed the illegal cheerleaders in Texas last week. Moats and crocks, indeed. We have people DYING over here in the border states. It is NO joking matter.
I'm new to this board. Hope all will forgive as I learn how it works. Looks like good people here. I like it.
I heard about that, that's a terrible lost for the sake of your stance that's one in a row, give me two more, can you? Just give me one other name.
All the border patrol people and the young man who was shot on the lake. *sigh*
Listen junko, I've got other things to do. In order to discuss the news it is necessary to be aware of the news. You can't just go around calling people liars all the time instead of checking it out if you don't know it. So many times people of the liberal persuasion will use this "prove it" ploy as a means to derail a discussion only to ignore any proof conservatives obligingly go fetch for you.
AnnCee if you got something better to do than derailing N.E. Wright's forum' you can go. I called nobody a liar even though you are not being truthful if you say i call anybody a liar. I ask a question and ask for no proof.
In regards to questioning Obama's citizenship and whether it's racism -- honestly, I think that question is too broad. For some of them, it could be. For others, there are always people who will believe all kinds of wacky things (contrary to common sense or evidence). I didn't vote for Obama, but have to admit, I do admire the way he's handled these accusations with patience and a sense of humor.
Sorry to digress, but I went to your Hubs, Forkart, hoping to learn what forkart is. What is forkart?
I've always admired the many varied and beautiful designs used for tines. Saw some yesterday that were slightly more widely space that usual and the base of the tines had a lovely smooth u shaped curve. Is that forkart??
Why do the far left always bring race when real concerns and obvious issues of Obama surface? He is half white and actually brought up by the white side of his family, They were white communists, His father believed in anti-colonialism, His friends are socialist/Marxists, He states many of these things in his books. His church of 20 years is Anti-American. He was adopted and lived in Indonesia for a few years until his mothers whatever marriage failed yet again! He was in Muslim garb as a kid( we have seen the pics) Bill aryes, Frank Marshall, Tony resko. I can go on! All these real concerns and all many people can say is racism??? Yes For some I'm sure it is, But in order for him to become president he needed a lot of white votes! If you want to know what can be seen as more racist is 94% of black people voted for him! that seems more racist than anything to me. If the white people voted 94% for the white candidate all you would hear is Racism. Bottom line is he has surrounded himself with socialist/ Marxists, His books show his intentions and belief's His pastor is Anti=American and I do not think Someone whether white, black, green, yellow or gray should hold the highest office when they have feelings like that. He has done absolutely nothing good since he took office except giving the OK to go get Usama. He then played it for all it was worth as It would have never happened If Bush didn't do what he did. He tried to close Gitmo, He stopped the CIA from interrogating prisoners, We have no new info since he took office! He has no clue how to run a country and making us look like fools in Foreign affairs! He is a hypocrite when you see his tax returns! he preaches for taking more from people who make more than 250K then takes every possible deduction and has the gall to even get a 12K refund! How about leading by example? guess not when it is his money involved!
Why, Danny? You know why. To attack those who don't blindly support Obama. To derail the questions. To obfuscate and confuse the issue. And last but not least to stir the race pot which is the Democrat party's BIGGEST vote cow.
Correct. Now his revolutionary buddy has taken over the DNC.
http://gulagbound.com/11401/patrick-gas … to-the-dnc
He just happens to be black, too, but, again, nothing to do with race to me. This is about POLICY. Obama surrounds himself with subversives, pulls the old Alinsky disruption on everyone, then says if you don't like it you are RACIST. Nonsense.
Wow free, what a wonderful addition you are to this discussion forum. You come armed with facts! How very refreshing and stimulating!
If we had karmas around here I'd pitch you a few. Write a hub and I'll give you an awesome and a fan mail.
Free, HubPages is a website that hosts blogs, we call them Hubs. Look up at the very top of the page and you will see a link right next to your name that says [start a new Hub].
The link opens a page with a form that walks you through the creation of a new blog. You can write on any subject except porn I think. It must be your own writing with minimal quotes from other sources.
Best thing to do is go to the [All Forums] link at top left of this page and find forums on the subject.
Other may want to jump in with more/better suggestions??

I'm with you junko. All too familiar.
I agree a great addition! should be interesting.
The ignorance is astounding. Danny, we started this country for the very purpose of being anti colonialist. He dressed like a Muslim when he was 3? Are you kidding? You bring shame dude...vast amounts of shame to my country and all breathing people.
You are correct! your ignorance is very astounding! Do you deny, Resko? Bill Ayres? His cabinet? his books? Maybe you do not see something wrong with his associates, Preacher, Cabinet etc.. Even that he was brought up being taught the Muslim religion a concern then You are the disgrace to Americans! It is either your way or the highway. You truly need a lesson on how to speak with people! you are horrible bro! have you ever thought of seeking a therapist? they maybe able to help you. I would If I were you. Sad
Just on this page#12 you posted 7 times and 6 are degrading people! enough said!
Heaven has nothing to do with it.
Phony Trolls come from somewhere else.
I believe name calling is a no-no around here. I don't like your attitude and I think this is the only time I have EVER responded directly to you. Yet you follow me around insulting me every time I am here. Who is what?
I'm talking about freez and sarahsex.....who said anything about you?
Oh, and if insults weren't allowed, some of you people would have nothing to say.

Did you miss the part where I said generic "you"?
Meaning right-wing Bush supporters. If that is not you, Then you are not who I'm talking about.
Typical too--to say if you hate Ameria why don't you leave?
Who said I hated America? You. Who said I hated white people? You.
You can't distinguish between hate and dissent.....except when it comes to the hatred and contempt that comes out for Obama---THEN it's patriotic!~
I don't like the America we have become with 30 years of right-wing fascism.
Why don't they leave?
And I notice you had nothing to say about the jew-hating anti-semite label that all the "good people" use....nothing to say about that?
Didn't think so. They get a pass, just like The Nuge. Typical.
______________
You were replying to my post generic or not.
Since my husband is a Jew as you call it, he does get a pass. My right, huh?
I lost interest in speaking to you
Of course it's about race. He who runs the best race wins!
Helen Thomas was right....you can say anything you want about Barack Obama, but don't you dare criticize Israel.
It's the truth.
_________
You can criticize Israel all you want. It means nothing to them because they like themselves..
Sorry I can't join you and hate my husband's nation. He was born in Israel. I lived in Savyon, Israel for one year, and none of them showed me hate or called me a racist..you should try that approach
Excuse me, but I am the one being called names here.....not the Israel supporters.
You all can criticize our American president, and not attribute any racism to it, but I can't criticizer Netanyahu WITHOUT being called a racist!.....something is azz-backwards with that.
____
When did I criticize the President? I didn't. Stop lying about me.
Are you so confused or is your memory that short?
I feel you are a racist but not because of Netanyahu, it's because of the other stuff you said.
Ok--you think I am racist, but all these Obama-detractors are not?
You mean Netanyahoo, the one who gives the finger to Obama, Biden, Clinton and Mitchell as he accepts Israel's $4 bilion annual stipend from US taxpayers?

As you must have gathered, I'm not a fan of Netanyahu. But I'm a strong supporter of Israel's security and a fair peace with Palestine.
Unfortunately, Israel isn't into peace with Palestine. It would be nice if they would be, instead of being the genocidal, tyrannous, dictators they always are; when it comes to the Palestinian people of Gaza.
Anyone who knows Netanyahu's history knows the only way to have peace is after he is gone.
True.
"I repeat: It may not be possible. But Netanyahu has not spent his time in office using Israel’s creativity to find ways to do such a deal. He has spent his time trying to avoid such a deal — and everyone knows it. No one is fooled." (Tom Friedman in this morning's NYT)
http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/18/opini … ef=opinion
Actually, they would call you an anti-semite. "racism" is a word thrown around to make others feel like they have bad thoughts and ideas. It is used to make you feel guilty for voicing an opinion. A tool to stave off the free exchange of ideas. In this way, those using it can force you to give them what they want, regardless of whether or not you want to. Do I believe a word of what I just wrote. NOT A SINGLE ONE.
Criticizing Netanyahu is neither anti-Semitic nor racist. Plenty of Jews in Israel, the US and elswhere are quite critical of his barbaric policies. (and of Hamas as well)
"racism" is a liberal bully word. Blacks use it and so do plenty of white people. It's a guaranteed way to put a white male on the defensive. Look what it did to Trump!
Unless you live in a cave, you should know that the color of racism and hate in America his PRIMARILY black (Obama & Holder's people). All one has to do to prove that fact is google black-on -white crime.
You are in a dream world, out of touch with reality.
Well, no Deeds, I'm actually right on. I have another site (google) where I've basically documented (with real victims) the enormity of black on white crime. A Mount Everest of black violence toward white people ... to a tiny little mole hill of white violence toward blacks. Putting it another way, when you hear that blacks commit 55 times the violent crimes against whites than whites against blacks ... I'm sorry to report but it is true (how many of these white people died or were victimized is not for the squeamish). Racism and hate is in fact black - not white
Did you watch the freedom riders show on PBS?
Learn your history....at least the history here, in America, where we have a mixed-race president, who can't pee without being derided for how he does it.
...."not a long enough stream...too much to the left OMG....can he do nothing right?"
Meanwhile, in the previous decade, even so much as criticizing the white pres was tantamount to treason.
"Oh--he pees perfectly!"
lovemychris=thread hijacker
"Freedom riders". Geeze. A Palov's Dog plant word. Won't work with me. You have insufficient knowledge to debate me on this topic. If you read my profile you would know I completely reject the notion that the white race wronged the black race because they (white people) would not submit to black integration demands. Nor do I buy into the completely ridiculous notion that integration with white people (black's brutal oppressor?) represented "freedom" to the black race. If only they could have access to white society...they would be "free"? NONSENSE. Blacks were a free people after 1865! They were suppose to be separate and self-reliant. Learn your own history.
I'm done with this thread
And I would like to know any journalists who have been fired for being critical of Obama....
I can name 2 who were let go because of their criticism of Israel.
WHO do we belong to anyway??
Is this the USA, or the US of Israel??
Imagine, if we had dual-citizen Swedes in high-level positions of our gvt....
Imagine if we had ASPAC....deciding our policies, always in favor of Sweden?
Who would stand for it?
What has happened to America?
I think Obama is the one and only president ever elected, who best represents the American populace as a whole. Ironically- conservative, white, right-wing, Christian (fundamentalist), anti-everything such as anti-gay, anti-freedom of speech, anti-immigration, anti-gun control, anti-liberal, anti-freedom of liberties, anti-women rights, anti-environmental, etc...., don't like that very much.
Think about it. Obama is multi-racial mixing pot of ethnicities. Of course race is an issue.
conservative, white, right-wing, Christian (fundamentalist), anti-everything such as anti-gay, anti-freedom of speech, anti-immigration, anti-gun control, anti-liberal, anti-freedom of liberties, anti-women rights, anti-environmental, etc...., don't like that very much.
Your joking ...right? Yes they are anti abortion and anti-gay as far as marriage is concerned, The right wants guns! and Yes we should be allowed them, constitutional right! anti-liberties? you totally got this one the opposite way! again the constitution! anti-freedom of speech? again your backwards! the left wants to stop from saying merry CHRISTMAS and make it Happy Holiday. If you criticize then your racist! anti-woman? Have you heard of Palin and Bachman? Palin was running for vice president last year for the republican party. And do you honestly believe we are causing global warming? History has shown us that the earth goes through cycles and just a few volcanoes spew more into the atmosphere then we could in 1,000 years! yes we are going through a change. (remember the ice age) what caused that when we weren't around?
No I'm not joking. I'm very serious about what I said. You argument/rebuttal is weak and clearly subjective. Meandering through my dialog, to the useless point of playing copy-cat with my words- is not much of an argument for your side. Secondly- you do realize that America is made up of more than a thousand different regions. From where I have laid roots in the Central heartland/bible belt of America, my words clearly reflect this "region" in which I call home. So no Sir, I'm not joking.
Again, we seem to fail to recognize that each state has a different perspective. Each city within an area will have a different opinion from the next city, and so on and so forth.......
My home, my opinion....., well it is based off of what I see in my hometown, in my surrounding community and within the "Show-Me" State altogether. It is clearly going to be different from those opinions of free-willing Texans, or immigration witch-hunters of New Mexico or Arizona. In Missouri, Mexicans are welcome. We want there the extra revenue in rental property, groceries, and SS tax money, and we want their cheap labor force. It helps us to make more money. So you see......... my region I'm sure is much different than yours.
But let's make no mistake about- as a confederate state at one point, and a state whose Capitol was built by slave labor, and where Neo-Nazis' seek shelter and have recruitment camps all over, and where the KKK still meet in the basement of churches;
racism in my state is no joking matter.
What state would this be? I live in NY and it is totally the melting pot of cultures, race etc...
Also sorry But I believe in the constitution so free speech, the right to bear arms and all the other beautiful laws from our forefathers. I do not believe the Government should get involved with abortions(tax payer money should not go to that) Gay marriage I could care less about it! as long as it isn't thrown in my face. Government should be very limited and the states have their own rules and regulations.
You sound like you live in a state that is lost in the 50's and 60's
Are you making the case that we are all incompetent, Chicago thugs mentored by communists, Marxists, and anti-America preachers? Oh my!
You really shouldn't believe everything they tell you on Fox News.
I guess you have a problem comprehending. Have you not seen them in their own words? If you have not I suggest you go to Youtube and Put the names of Obamas, cabinet, friends, associates, pastor etc... Then come back and correct your post. Are you going to dispute what they say in their own words? it is there for you to see and hear for yourself. Also I take it you never read his books, Very telling where he gets his beliefs.
I don't rely on one outlet for news. You get the real story from international media.
Or not. I think we all enjoy hearing most that which we prefer to hear. Still, those other news channels are losing market share to Fox News. There is a reason.
I enjoy watching those other news channels about once a week. I need to keep my disgust fresh!
:-)
Whenever it comes to racism it's always him, them, they. We are so good at pointing out who is a racist and that is not to say that we cannot be correct however the problem is there aren't four or five or six races. There are still many communities in America that are segregated by race. We are in the 21st century and we are still living with the ancient reasoning behind racism. If the world needs to see what living without racism looks like then why don't we as America one of the greatest nations on the planet show the world how?
N.E. for me it is not race at all.
it is the performance of his Office, and his plan for America. The Czars circumventing the Cabinet and Congress. The moves he is making to place more controls over business under the Green theme.
His failure to open up Trade, lower tariffs, the Oil issues. The refusal to clean up the immigration issues, but yet he will organize them and let organizations’ he once belonged to register them illegally for votes.
He concentrates on the Politics not the Duties of the Office. He has not got full control of his staff and who he delegates to, I think that gets him in trouble some, and many under him make rogue decisions and take way to much personal liberties to inject un-wanted personalities into the mix.
It looks to me like he is a bit of a Joe College Radical Professor mind set, very anti-check and balance and idealistic. A Bit power hungry he seems at times, and way over the bounds of his Office. A Power grabber.
To me it is almost, like this is his first real job and he is enamored in the Power of it. The advisors he uses are Political Think Tank folks, not practical work a day CEO's and such who understand Business and Markets that create growth, and have actually accomplished it.
He is in the Bankers Pockets, and He holds a lot of His father’s arrogance.
He is to Textbook, A one size will fit all or else, kind of decision maker The ideas offered, do not work pragmatically and we are not getting better, we are getting worse.
His idea that Judges should legislate from the bench, not judge the law The statements that the Constitution is flawed imply his actions to step around Congressional law and power. An end justifies the means.
We already have a Legislative Branch, he is making the Court in-affective. Why? The system is proven?
He is: a smart man, a moral man, a good father and husband, and a down to earth kind of man at times, but way to in-experienced to be in that office. He is a screwed Constitutional lawyer, but He came up to fast, he was not ready I think, and that’s my personal thoughts and reasons against him.
His arrogance and demeanor, and his in-ability to change, except for votes and reversing public opinion when he is overwhelmed with it..
He has assembled an advice team of college professors, stuck in textbooks, and not street smart, and he is miss-applying the information from those advisors like a big experiment. He misapplies History to a fault.
If he cannot correct the problem, he throws money at it. That does not work for Government.
Book after Book shows how and why the New deal did not work, and about economics theory, and he reads and misapplies the lessons in them....shovel ready jobs! Infrastructure Jobs, Solar Panels, all ideas needed but they will not sustain long term jobs, long enough to put people back to work and allow them to pay a 30 year mortgage or send a Child to College.
Look at the Bailout, He advocated the Bail out of Investment banks, and a few Big Multi Service Banks, the Giants, not the little Guys.
He advocated Big banks buying them out. Remove the competition and the ability of People in Cities and Towns to deal direct with smaller Banks at Home. For car Loans, 2nd Mortages, equity loans, and savings and checking.
We are left to the mercy of Big conglomerants Like Bank of America, US Bank, and such. They offer checking and such, yes, but look at the fees they have and the services taken away. They want Big money customers not folks like us with small accounts, they fee us to death so we will leave.
Those banks he advocates for? But asks for our votes!
Investment banks DO NOT offer smal Loans, Car and House Loans, Checking and Savings at local levels, they specualte on Blocks of Paper, with wall-street investment firms. Manage Money Transfers for retirment Accounts for major Corporations.
Big, Big blocks of Money moving at one time. Investment banks do not service Indivual accounts for the General Public.
They do not Cater to Individual customers. Thus Towns and small city communities dry up when there is no local investment going on.
Small towns, Medium Size Cities are still shut down with lots of people out of work. We learned these lessons back in 1933, when you have no speculation going on for Farms, small factories and other small businesses, you can not get growth.
Obama is proving his priorities, as he advocates for Big Bankers, not American Citizens. He knows well our factory system is splintered and sent off-shore and across Border.
He knows we are not producing goods to any desierd amount, yet no action on market arangements with any other countries, nothing but summits and Hob-Knobing with Other world leaders for Photo-Ops?
He advocates Union workers, but in truth He is courting Union Administration Donations to run for Office. He will shake a workers had then get the Shop Representitives to ask them to donate?
He allows the manipulation of statistics, omits factual data, and calls it transparency. He uses it to create Hype among youth and to create a Hype around him. He is calculating his next election all the time, not running the Country.
I could care less about silly and trivial matters of color, race, birth and education.
Obama is Qualified on paper to be a President, but not in Practical experience and World knowledge.
His actions are showing him to be axiomatic (Learn as you go) That’s Deadly for a President who negotiates all around the world. It indicates to others He has no strength and can be talked off his plan. And has been by experienced Manipulative Leaders during confrences.
He is lacking in some practical knowledge points and Strength that comes with experience and age, and those skills are sorely needed right now.
The above, are all my reasons, others will have their own reasons.
But Race? NO...
However The wrong personality for the Office, Miss application of Powers deliberate, in-experience and un-affective performance, Hidden agenda? YES...
I am sorry to be so direct here, but Color has not a thing to do with demonstrated in-ability. And a Distaste for American Law.
NOT in the Office of the President. .
I will get off my sopa-box now, sorry for the length of this.
I give you credit for listing some reasons why you are critical of President Obama, however innacurate many of them are. And I'll accept your statement that race has nothing to do with your opinion of the President. However, there are plenty of people whose dislike of the President is based on his race. They were circulating ugly racial images of him and his wife even before he took office. This is undeniable.
I agree Ralph, and this has also made me reflect to.
Can I really find that much wrong, or am I creating some of it?
Being honest here also. I do think he is way to in-experienced and way to caught up in college days radical thought, but... is he really that wrong
this has been a good thread, making me look more and ask myself.
I believe the bank bailout occurred at the end of the Bush administration, not under Obama. However, he may well have done the same thing. Obama is responsible for the bailout of GM and Chrysler which has worked out pretty well. More than a million auto and related jobs were saved and Chrysler recently paid off it's bailout funds. And GM is expected to do the same fairly soon. Allowing GM and Chrysler to go under would have been catastrophic.
Regardless..he IS the President of the USA. Just because he doesn't do what you want does not make him incompetent. I don't see him as arrogant at all.
And it is naive to believe that there are not some people who attack the President based on his race. And to me...when some talk about him not really being black, that is racist talk. We all know that in the USA before the civil rights act that if someone had even a teaspoonful of black blood that they were classified as black and denied rights. It's like they are trying too hard to show that they have nothing against Obama's race.
NE,
I would like to address the actual question you asked, not one of these threads addressed your concern. Starting with the first one they went off on the space shuttle for destinations unknown.
As for your son, I have raised 2 children that have grown into wonderful adults. Both are in collage and their futures look bright. I have found that honesty and a direct approach, no matter the subject, is the best way to go.
In this question, there are many subtopics about racism, it goes back to accient times. I would tell him there are many forms of racism besides color. Racism against religion is just one example. Racism for personal gain is another. That one is the most horrible one. People using the race of like individuals to incite hate to further their own importance. They are not only racists but are thieves as they look fro monitary gain from their actions. Let him know that racism exists on all sides but it has gotten better. It gets less every generation. Perhaps one day in the future this will no longer be an issue. Do not let himself get lured into these petty arguments of race. Let him know someday a closed minded person will call him something inapropriate. Tell him not to lower himself to the ignorance of others. Be strong in his moral convictions that you instill in him. Teach his children the same. Education, learning from our mistakes, and hope is what the future holds for everyone.
About Obama and racism:
I think that some people don't like Obama because he's black, but not EVERYONE who dislikes him is racist! Some Americans simply don't like his policies. Look at the far-right conservatives supporting Herman Cain - who, by the way, is black! IF Cain were to get the nod from the GOP, maybe the 2012 election will be devoid of racism and of race-baiting?
Uh, the term is conservative. Just conservative. We are also called mainstream. We are the 40% of America that makes it work. And yes. At this moment I support Mr. Cain.
I had several conversations years ago with some old country boys in rural Indiana who said they would vote for Condaleeza Rice if she ran for President. Tell me again how America is racist. I was surprised because my own preconceived ideas about what 50-plus year old , white men from country Indiana would think about a Black woman president were turned on their head.
You are kidding yourself if you think it will be devoid of accusations of racism. The left has had this tool in their arsenal for decades and have yet to leave it unused. The accusation will be tokenism or Cain is an "Uncle Tom" or he isn't black enough or he is flat out a race traitor. Look at how liberals and blacks treated and continue to treat Clarence Thomas. Racial accusations will never go unused until we all realize that there is no such thing as race and that only scoundrels through that word around with ease.
Go ahead...keep acting like race is a non-issue....
You are living in denial.
And yes--Cain will get it too. I wonder if any Bagger will have the gall to stand with a sign of HIM as a voodoo witch doctor with a bone through his nose?
Will Russsshhhhhhh aks Cain to be on his show?
Will Beckles have a skit making fun of him?...."Daddy, why do you hate white people so?"
Oh Nooooo--they will proclaim themselves enlightened individuals, cause LOOK!!! WE have a black candidate too!!!
Don't kid yourself. The same people who hate Obama for his color, will hate him. They just won't be so blatantly obvious about it.
You believe Herman Cain will get it from the Tea Party people or Republicans but he will get it from good loving liberals like you. He will, if he hasn't already been, called a race traitor. Race is far more important to liberals than conservatives that is why they keep the groundless accusation of racism alive.
Any question of Barry's judgment is now racism, just ask Hardball or Meet the Press. The full on hatred revolving around race is no longer because of a man's skin color but instead is for anyone not agreeing that black men need the Democrats to hold their hands or they will parish. The insidious racism of the coddling liberal infatilizes "minorities."
Nothing disgusts me more than the treatment of so called minorities by liberals. They build a little reservation and keep them hobbled by handout and propaganda. Perpetuating the myth of race benefits the liberal.
In the department of pretend I would never even attempt to challenge your conspiratorial, antisemitic, collectivist, mommy state whining. See you on the shoe line, Comrade.
There are past precedents of president-elect having their natural American birth questioned....
But there is no denying that the coloration of Obama's skin and the sound and appearance of his name motivated a lot of energy for the GOP..
Their boost may have come from a portion of the electorate that otherwise might have not participated...
But, it is important to point out that much of the push has come from a mixture of religious and racial/ethnic bigotry...
The land of religious freedom....but many turned against Obama over the fear of his being a Muslim... What trumps the suspicion of his being of Islam is the even more marginalized sentiment cast upon potential politicians who are "openly" Muslim....
I have been puzzled by the number of "educated" "professionals" of the self-prescribed "white" class who follow this idiocy...
Has any other presidential candidate gone to school in Indonesia? Did we see pictures of him in Muslim Garb?? His Name is also of Muslim faith. His father was Muslim. This is the Highest office in the nation, Do you think we should not know everything about this man? His mothers side was communist. His father Anti-Colonialism, Mr. Marshall a Marxist was his mentor when young. 20 years in a Anti-American Church, Dedicated a book to him! his cabinet is all Marxist, socialist. His associates/friends are mostly socialist/Marxists. Bill ayres and Bernadine Dorn weather underground, blew up government buildings! His books tell you what he believes. And none of that matters? You people just through race because you have nothing solid and try to divert from the real questions. Do people not like him because of being PART black, I would say yes! want to talk about race, about 45% of white people voted for Obama, blacks voted 94% for Obama! That is racism! Bush was horrible but he is worse! Also how come so many of the left is getting waivers for Obama-care if it is that wonderful? How come only people in Pelosi and Reids State get the majority? Remember we have to vote it in to see what is in it??? The greatest line of all-time! all a scam! You people claim the right is trying to hurt seniors when it isn't true, but Obama care if your mother or father is old and the operation out weighs what they think he will live till, they can deny the operation! who is trying to kill seniors??
If race wern't an issue Obama wouldn't have been considered for the nomination due to gross lack of experiance.
He did write two books. That has to count for something. Don't be surprised if you are called a racist after such a provocative and unanswerable posting. It is the tactic of liberals to call names when unable to address an issue coherently.
Hmmmm, so what exactly is Cain's experience? Seems to me a US Senator is more experienced than.....what does Cain do?
Al Jazeera TV. Now there is an unbiased news source with no dog in the fight. This is excellent propaganda. Ask enough people and one is bound to get the answer one is looking for. Why shouldn't I believe this was designed to raise negatives for Palin and sympathy for our inexperienced, incompetent president-to-be?
I wonder who paid for it? Saudi Arabia?
NE, this post....made me think a lot for some reason.
I do not like President Obama for his Goverment beliefs, his actions or reactions to problems we have and I stated that in a long, to long, of a post above, but I have to be honest here also.
Can I really find that much wrong or am I also creating some of it..?
This was a great question to ask to wake up a person.
...Thank You
Danny, thank you for making my point for me....
There is a lot of ignorance out there......and this poster's ongoing rant about "foreign Obama" and "anti-American Obama" clearly illustrates this...
Can you explain to me, Danny, what "Muslim garb" is?
Can you elaborate concerning the relationship between where someone receives (some) schooling and citizenship?
If one looks at Obama's maternal lineage you will find past presidents of this nation....which ones were the communists?
"You people".....eh Danny? My parents are both well advanced in age...and it is only the health benefits that my mother earned via her unionized Los Angeles Unified School District job that keeps them going... Home Depot's non-union benefits (my father's employer) pale in comparison...
I point to race because the bigotry exists....as the link to youtube shows, and as your own posts illustrate....

There is no "there" there.
Is Detroit ruined? Was it run into the ground by Democrats?
Are there more people on food stamps today than in anytime in our history?
Would you prefer food stamps to a job and a paycheck?
It is sad how people like Danny continue to use the word "liberal" as if it were a slur...
Read up "bro"..as you claim you like doing... You continue to show a minescule knowledge of American history/evolution in any era....and your perspectives regarding race relations and racism in the United States are not accurate..
If your personal story is accurate, then I commend your work, but I also ask this: Would you point out to your child that private and government forces have worked, and continue to do so, to keep these equal peoples at different levels of advantage in order to create and perpetuate the "race differences" that we see in terms of economic and social inequalities?
Will you teach them that, while you disapprove and do not condone it, "whiteness" continues to be an advantage?
As for other racist concepts, like Asian "model minority" concept, Stacy Lee's article entitled "Unraveling the 'Model Minority' Stereotypes: Listening to Asian-American Youth", racism exists even when it appears to be positive... And this appearance is only an illusion...

Ever since the President has stepped into office he has been wrong. Its almost as if white people forgot to vote in 2008 and President Obama stole the seat. I would like to take you on a journey over the last four years to put into perspective of how racially divided we have come in the last four...

If the various race anti-discrimination laws were to go how much racism do you think would prevail in America? Is America's tolerance, acceptance and even embrace of diversity a superficial and shallow thing that must be legislated to maintain? Ron Paul is for getting rid of these laws and it is...

While I am not a republic nor completly white, I am so tired of the constant assumption that Republicans are just white racist. Why do people assume this? It would be like saying Democrats are just poor black and hispanic people. See how ignorant that sounds! Why?

The United States government, and the media, are filled with professional liars. This is not surprising, especially in government. Many elected officials, like Hillary Clinton, are former lawyers, and American lawyers are "the" best liars and con-artists in the world. Understanding...

The recent DOJ report said there was a 'pattern and practice of constitutional violations (that primarily target African Americans) in stopping people without reasonable suspicion, arresting them without probable cause, and using unreasonable force.'The report is a scathing indictment of the...

Is Miss. America pageant only for white Americans? When an Indian American wins the spelling bee, nobody minds but when an Indian American wins Miss. America, people make racist comments! Why?
