Hey! I don't spend that much time in those forums! To answer the question I would say the females who follow me/chat with me would be on the list but don't ask or expect me to put them in order. We can move to Utah so I can have them all!
For me, I know its lame, but too many to choose from. Everyone is so nice. And, since I only know them "virtually" there's none of those annoying little personal "ticks" to get in the way.
Of course, I'm not sure how my husband would feel about all this.
I would say the theirishoberserver, except that former IRA business sounds a bit scary, even for an Irish Catholic like myself. Maybe we could meet for coffee ... next time I'm in Ireland.
Hi wavegirl22, You sound very cool but in order to date everyone on hubpages. I guess you have to live very long. Unless you are thinking of dating in Japanese style "Virtual dating" then it is possible. Nice dreams good luck.
Great idea! There was something simlar a while back, called Blubbers, but badly named--too many signups thinking it was a place for whiners and crybabies!
There are some out there that I judge by their cute profile pic, and then there are some that just have such great writings and are so fun in real life I wish I really knew them, but that goes for even some of the women. It's just such a great community.
Does it have to be one? And a date? Can't it be like a huge dinner party with all the wonderful hubbers around? Sorry, that wasn't very helpful i know...
Would sockpuppets group date, date lots of different other sockpuppets, date the same sockpuppet several different times but then date the alter egos, would sockpuppets date non-sockpuppets? Also, what, exactly would constitute a sockpuppet double-date? And, would a blind date involve alter-egos or the people behind them? Not that I'm a sockpuppet - just wondering how it would all work
LOL! I actually did that once, met a guy I 'talked to' frequently on a similar social site....then again I was 18 and really naive-it could've gone so wrong but he turned out to be just like he portrayed himself and we stayed friends for years. I have learned since then to keep most of the truly personal stuff off-line. Friendship via website is fine, translating it into romance is different. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but it doesn't have the greatest track record! That being said, if I wasn't married and old enough to know better, there are a few lookers in here with personality! LOL!!!

You'd never guess in a million years...Ha! You don't see this person on the forums. But I know I would run to an exit if I was single and was approached by Mr. Macho. He's smooth..........
Yep.....though I never go to the person's hubs anymore. Best not to. Just goes to show ya, you never know who you're dealing with. The person wasn't insane or anything, just very persistent, pushy. That's why I choose no connection whatsoever with the hubber. Don't look at his FB or anything. Zip, cut it.
Well, at least I know it isn't me. But, then again, donotfear says this person doesn't come to the forums, so with my 18,000+ posts...is yet another sign it's not me.
I hear about guys like that fairly frequently, I can't understand them. I always put a lady on a pedestal, unless they prove they don't deserve to be there.
Years ago I would always help ladies that were being bothered. Don't people solve things that way anymore?
hmmm...damn I'm horrible at poems (especially interpreting them) but for you, let's see...
SummerStewart...oh, how I love thee. a name of elegance tis what I see. If I were fortunate to be your sole companion, I would crown myself the true champ. My dear Summer's dream, you see it's only you I care to gleam, Every passing minute without you feels like a mortal sin, I promise never to speak the words "the heck with it" again.
What makes you say that? I was only informing you that I liked the picture on your profile. I was saying "Thank You", because I'm an avid picture collector and have taken your picture.
I'm glad you like the pic.. I have a wonderful photographer friend who has taken several of me.. however this one was totally a surprise. I was totally gone into the music and had no clue he took it.
after much thought, I can say I would date just about anyone I talk to regularly on the forums except for the following:
anyone who disrespects Pres Obama anyone who wants to talk about "Is there a God" anyone who cannot laugh at themself anyone who ignores my posts just because I disagree with them anyone who thinks it is important to be good looking anyone who cannot laugh at themselves anyone who has no sense of humor anyone who is so far right they think they are right always anyone who has stopped reading this already anyone who likes to call people "stupid" or other names like that
and then, we would have to define "date" it appears that almost everyone has a different idea a bout what dating is!! :
so, actually, I'm not sure if ANYONE should date anyone who is on the forums all day like me and a few others I could mention! but I won't! I mean, do we have a life at all?
ok...sorry, seriously...is that a real mushroom..?...and did this hubber, mail you this picture or something else....you know, let's not get all confused....
Grab your drink and let's all just laugh about it......ya'll need to catch up, I can barely type....feeling just fine..... ok...back to the subject matter...If I could, but I cant, date anyone on the hubs, nor would I ever...but if I did...it would be ..... hmmm....dont know
Hi Will Say Plenty...glad to have you onboard....who would you date on the hubs if you could date someone on the hubs....man, that was hard to type...LOL
I didn't expect to find a mushroom (yeah, like I believe that!) disguising itself and a poor gay woman cleansing herself after trying that mushroom on for size!!!
Okay, I'll stop, especially for the poor newbie(s) who don't know me yet (and my off sense of humor)....though MOW and PDH..and Cags (hi!!) know a bit better...
Who thinks we should ask to reinstate a page dedicated to locating hubbers by hubber score. Beginning with 100-0.We once had such a page here that made the hubber score much more relevant, and we could at least get a chance to locate the top hubbers who most definitely deserved high praise for...
With all the silliness and high school drama that is all the rage these days I thought I would balk the trend with this forums thread. Instead of complaining about this or that hubber I ask you to say something nice about this or that hubber. There are many I can say nice things about and first to...
I respect the work of many hubbers, but at the very top of my list is 'peeples'. I am a great fan of this extraordinary woman and when you go to her profile page you will see why. Peeples is now homeless. Follow this link to her story. http://peeples.hubpages.com/hub/A-Real- … melessness and...
I'd like to suggest we get rid of Hubber Score - and perhaps even Hub Scores. They:- are constantly misunderstood;- cause a lot of upset and grief in the forums; and- encourage newbie Hubbers to direct their efforts in entirely wrong directionsFor instance, I've known newbie Hubbers stop...
I understand it difficult times but what good will deleting hubs do? I see some of the most prolific hubbers deleting heaps of hubs. Have we lost the hope of a hubpages bounce back?
