Surfing Paradise in Southeast Asia : Siargao, Philippines

Philippines is a country in the Southeast Asia where Siargao is located. The country is known for its beautiful islands and top travel destinations for those who want a cheap and the best travel bargains. Philippines is always on top of the list of holiday makers who loves beaches, beautiful sceneries and accommodating people. it is also a gateway to different places like Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and other Southeast Asian countries. Why not? it is only two hours away from Hong Kong, then to Macau (which is only 60 kms away from Hong Kong). After visiting Philippines, you can proceed to Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia if you like. Before that you can go and visit Siargao, Surigaro Del Sur, Philippines for a nice "Cloud 9" surfing experience.

Where is Siargao?

Siargao is located in the province of Surigao del Norte located in Region 13 - CARAGA region, one of the regions in the Philippines in the island of Mindanao, Philippines. It is facing the Pacific Ocean that is why the waves are friendly to surfers. It is one of the worlds best surfing destination.

Siargao is a beautiful place with lots of reefs, small points and surrounding islets plus many islands, so you don't get bored with the place, if you are tired of surfing.

I visited this place years ago and I am still in love with the place, due to its friendly weather, beautiful beaches around and surfers paradise. A good friend of mine Gloria lives in the province. I like this place very much and if I have the time and resources I will visit it again. It reminds me of Aparri, Cagayan, Philiipines --  the northern most part of the Philippines where surfers love to go as well. It is open to the oceans and oceans always gives me some kind of peace and the beauty is undeniable.
