        I agree with you. Carpenters has meaningful lyrics. I can sing too almost all of her songs, but not for the Cool and the Gang, sorry.

    Can't put my finger on one song, but it'd have to be either "Where the Streets have no Name" by U2, "Wanted Dead or Alive" by Bon Jovi, or "Sweet Child 'o Mine" by Guns 'N Roses.  You can't grow tired of any of those songs.

      All of these songs you mentioned are my favs, too, jsaeger. Where the Streets Have no Name is in the Joshua Tree album. I like all songs in that album.

      Actually I agree that Def Leppard (complete with one armed drummer were great). Bon Jovi too was wonderful, and if by "Poison" you mean Alice Cooper, then I am behind you 100%, as he was the dogs boll**ks if you get my drift. smile
