   Jean Meriam dropped out of HubPages ( I believe due to poor adsense targetting on her hubs) and is replaced by PrettyDarkHorse.
   
   I do not believe there are any left unrecognized.

   I need to extend my sincerest apologies to all 60dc members as I need to back out of the competition.  I'm very sorry to disappoint you and to disassemble the team.  My son was recently diagnosed with a very serious eye disease called Coat's Disease.  His condition is worsening quite rapidly and we've had to move up his surgery date.  I am busy dealing with all the details of this now, with insurance problems as well.  This is taking up not only a lot of my time, but frankly my head's not in the game right now as I have a lot of concern over his condition.  I am very sorry to disappoint you all. 
   
   SF, do I just take off the rss feeds on my challenge hubs?  Anything else I need to do?

      As far as Im concerned all you have to do is focus on your family. Im sorry to hear his condition is worsening, I had read your previous posts about the the diagnosis.
      
      Any details about the challenge can be dealt with at a future date. Wishing you all the best with his health and the insurance details.

      Wordscribe, we'll all be thinking of you.  As I think I said before, the silver lining in all this, is that the optometrist was good at his job and discovered it when he did, so you're able to do something about it.

    Thank you all so much!  It's been a stressful time, thankfully my cousin is an optometrist who's been able to answer a lot of questions for us.  I'll keep you all posted, and I can't tell you how much I appreciate the support.  I'm a basketcase when it comes to the health of my kids.  SF, soon you'll experience a whole new level of worry in your life.  But, as hard as it can be, there's nothing more beautiful than having a child.

    boomer60 - you ARE appearing on the feed, the 6-8 links you see on the hubsfeed is just that 6-8 links - the feed is already hundreds of links long. 
    
    At all the important places offline your links get the same promo op as everyone else.
    
    The "hot" aspect will continue to change what is visble here on hubpages - this is an effort at fairness.
    
    In the beginning Hubbers with a large following or start out strong promo-wise will come up first- in the long run its anybodies game.
    
    BTW - the twitterfeed site keeps stats at what links get clicked via your feed, mine is showing hundreds of clicks from twitter to everyones links!

    Great work, folks - slowly but surely, the 60DC behemoth is rolling onwards. I have had to concentrate on paid work for the last few days, but plan to catch up with things and read some of the tasty 60DC mezes

    I havent made the front page yet but I have finally broken out of my author score being in the 80's . I havent seen an 80 score in over a week!!! And have been teetering between 93 and 95. I cant tell you how great that feels! Plus my traffic is really on the upswing. More and more I am seeing red arrows instead of all blue!!!
    And my adsense has had dollar signs just about every day!
    
    But I have alot of catching up to do .. my parents moved out west last week and it really took a toll on my time. . so this week between catching up on some sleep and my job I have been able to at least get one out a day .. and as scarlett ohara said . .tomorrow is another day!! And yes I have a more Hubs in the works that just need a little polishing and on to more

    I have one more success to share.  My hub has made it to the second page of google within 7 hours.  And it is no useless keyword celebration.  The keyword for which I am ranking is fairly competitive.  I know it may be due to the fact that google places fresh content higher at first and then gradually adjust.  But this is the first time it is happening to me so I am real excited and the best part is  didn't had to take even a minute effort to promote it and as the promotion stage will start soon I am sure this would make it to front page(atleast once).  here is the snap:

    I have one more useless keyword victory to celebrate.  I think I am mastering this skill of celebrating useless things...but still...My hub on rank decoding engine is ranking first for the search term "Rank Decoding Engine".  The best part is I get atleast 20-25 views from google.com on this hub.  Though it only earn me pennies, but still being first on google for something is really exciting.  here is the snap:

          It is not a "hard" deadline. You can keep up writing in the promo phase as well. Its just that the more hubs you finish before the promo begins, the better it will be for traffic to those hubs. Those who have completed their 30 are LIKELY to get the maximum benefit.

             I didn't get that impression from the OP.  My concern would be that if people are still writing during the promotion phase, they won't be pulling their weight on the promotion side.
             
             Maybe I'm wrong.

                The deadline is not "hard" in the sense that there would be no penalties or anything like that. It is for the participants to push themselves to finish the 30 in time, so that they can focus on promotion, along with everyone else.
                
                Everyone who has not finished their 30 hubs can finish during this week, so that they can get onto the promo train, even as it is still picking speed. After that, they might find difficult to keep up with the momentum.
                
                Obviously, participants with 30 finished hubs will be in a much better position to benefit from the promo phase.
                
                I am through with my 30.

                   Yes Sidd, I think that's a better way to put it. We're all adults with other lives and we know things get in the way, but realistically there will be a point where the train will have left the station, so people need to be aware of that and keep the pressure on themselves.

    Oh we'll all be absolutely fine. I have three to do. Will do them after dinner. I've had people, cats, kids, life, donuts and no internet thrown at me this last few weeks. I'm loving the challenge of writing silly amounts within a few days. Never knew I had it in me. Now I do. And I'm halfway to enjoying amazon.
    
    Huge well done to the guys already finished - impressive and motivating! And of course to sunforged who must be working pretty hard trying to publish his own hubs as well as keep track of his challenge duckies
