VioletSun interviews emohealer
Intriguing questions posed to someone who loves them.
1. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to interview you. I am intrigued by the many hats you have worn in your life. You spent 8 years in the US Army as a tank mechanic, and then went on to marketing and merchandising, and now you are an energy facilitator and also make herbal potions, lip balm, bath salts and more. What made you shift from being focused on a government career to being a spiritual healer and teacher?
I appreciate you choosing to interview me, what a pleasure! Yes, many hats indeed, I enjoy my current ones the most. As with anyone who makes this shift, it’s something that was always there, ignored, set aside or put on the back burner. My original goal was to be a politician so I could make the rules and thereby make the world a better place. I wanted to change the world, now I have learned to BE the change in the world. I have always been a seeker, asking questions, believing if a question could be asked there was an answer. Every question was answered and followed with another question and so the journey continues as I now share these answers with fellow seekers……continuing to ask questions.
2. You are about to release your book "Let Your Light Shine," Can you give us a peek into what the reader may gain from reading your book.
Thanks for asking as I am very excited about releasing this information after years of research. Readers will gain a knowledge and understanding of what our inner light is, how it works, where it comes from and how it interacts with everyone else’s inner light. The full potentials within our energy field, how to expand and radiate it more brilliantly from proven scientific, quantum and spiritual aspects. What it means to be-come and to recognize that we already have everything we need and are complete in every way. There have been many delays, the release is now projected for Feb 2010.
3. This is a question I have been meaning to ask you. The opportunity has now presented itself in this interview, and it’s about vibrational healing. I understand you went to a seminar earlier this year for training. In a few words, what exactly is vibrational healing?
Vibrational healing is a term I think I have coined myself, although I have seen a few references to it. The seminar I attended did not use this term. Everything has a vibration and a specific frequency by which it can be measured and it “resonates” at. Vibration is used in reference to colour, light, sound, plants, aromas and so much more. Although we “see” and “hear” and “smell” these things we can also “feel” them as vibrations even if we are unable to “see” and “hear”. Vibrations are affecting us whether we are aware or not, Vibration Healing is identifying these frequencies and using them with intention. I created a vibrational healing page on Facebook to start sharing this information on a broader scale.
4. What do you value most in yourself and in others?
In my opinion, Compassion is of more value than any other single asset as it encompasses all other personal assets I consider valuable, (integrity, forgiveness, charity, hope). Compassion is first for our selves, then for others. I love to meet a person who has learned to be compassionate to themselves as well as others, and I am meeting more and more people who are “there” so to speak on a regular basis now. I am so grateful to have discovered true compassion, as they say on the value scale, “priceless”!
5. If you found a blue bottle by the ocean, with a "world genie," meaning he could only grant you one wish but for the world, what would it be?
Very interesting that you made the bottle blue, I like that! My one wish for the world… (I believe in this genie), is that each and every one of us will re-discover and re-member our value, our worth and our worthiness. To realize our inner light, appreciate it and radiate with the pure brilliance we each have within us, thereby becoming unified in our glory.
6. What brought you to HubPages?
I found HubPages by “coincidence” on facebook and decided to explore it. I spent a lot of time reading almost immediately. I had written many articles and speeches, I shared many topics in conversation and with clients and family. I was so excited to discover this wonderful venue where I could share on such a broad scale and with much encouragement, started writing on HubPages. What an honor and a pleasure to have found such a wonderful place full of impassioned and skilled writers. A place where internet writing is easy and a message can be broadcast to the entire world in a matter of minutes, and easily accessed any time in the future. It has also been invaluable in spreading the word for my webpage: emotional health training.
7. If you could impart one piece of advice to a new Hubber, what would that be?
Know what it is you are at HubPages for, there are so many different aspects and so much to gain. Whether you are here to make money, to read and learn, to practice writing, to promote yourself, your products, your ideas, to improve writing, or to share knowledge. Whatever your reason is, there is a forum or group with similar interests that have helped pave the way and willing to share their expertise. Know what your objective is, research it, socialize and learn all of the aspects to attain your goal and it can be achieved here.
8. Which of your followers and/or hubs have inspired you the most? Include your own hubs too that have inspired you to keep writing.
There are so many…wonderful writers, those that have chosen to follow me and that I have chosen to follow. To pick just a few is so difficult, I am sure I will omit some whom I am honored to have found here at Hubpages. I must first mention you whom I find so inspiring, VioletSun. I have put out an invite to each person who views my profile to become a friend, more than just a follower, many people have become my friend and I find that so inspiring, these are my hubpages friends: Ripplemaker, Dayzeebee, Universal Laws, alekhouse, Jen’s Solitude, k@ri, CMHypno, cr8ve1, DiamondRN, godslittlechild, Useful Knowledge, ralwus, Rob Dee , funride, , tony0724, fenzero, beth layne, Tatjana Mihaela, ethel smith, packerpack. A few others I have found very inspiring in a variety of aspects and ways are: myhomebusiness, KCC Big Country, Denny Lyon, Cleanclover, healthtip, DynamicS, Carmen Borthwick, Hmrjmr1, jimcain207, Rebecca E., Duchess OBlunt, Zsuzsy Bee, LdsNana-AskMormon, MamaDragonfly267, mdawson17, fastfreta, pgrundy, Teresa McGurk, nicomp, RedElf, My most appreciated and read hub is “Sacrifice to Get What you Want.” The response to this one has really inspired me to keep writing.
9. What do you do for fun? What brings out the playful side of you?
This question brings a smile to my face, the glow emits so quickly. For fun and my playful side, there is no contest, it is children. My favorite title in the whole world is Aunt Sue, not only to my 40 nieces and nephews, but to every child I meet. When I go to my sister’s daycare, all of the children get in trouble for leaving their current activity to give a hug and share their latest moment. Even in grocery stores, wherever I go children always interact and play silly winking games and talk and share with me. I love to get down on the floor with children, or in the dirt or on the playground. I like to play the games they like and be the little child with no cares or worries of how dirty we may get or how wrinkled our clothes may get and how tousled our hair may get, to be carefree in expression. I enjoy teaching new games and tricks and magic and letting them teach me the same. All of the simplistic ideals of a child, how fun!
10. As interesting as your life has been, tell us something that we'd never guess about you – surprise us!
I laughed and imagined all of the things that would surprise and possibly shock everyone, we all have our closet full of mysteries…..It was however very easy to narrow it down to one, because there is always a common response when someone meets me after knowing about me….”You are so little, I expected you to be bigger”. With all of these “big” things in my repertoire…tanks, combat, sergeant, master fitness instructor, professional body builder, etc. Truth be told I never made it much over five foot and usually only weigh a little over a hundred pounds. I am always wearing 3 inches under my feet in pictures and still the smallest person in the group.
