Roughly, how much do you earn from 'hubbing' each month?
I've obviously only just started, but this is a really addictive site, and i can see how people get so into it! it's lots of fun, and if you can earn a bit of money while having some fun, then that sounds good to me!
Currently I earn around $20-$30 a month (December was a great month - I made $45, presumably due to Christmas shopping). I earned absolutely nothing for the first three months, then it started building slowly - so it takes patience.
$400-500 a month, but I haven't written a hub for a while. Had a good December - $750+
I'm slowly building up an idea of how it works, and it's a good job that hubbing can be fun, and an enjoyable pasttime aswell, seen as patience is required!
Those of you who are making fairly impressive amounts of money like Mr Mark Knowles, do you mind my asking wether you publisise and promote your hub around the web through blogs of personal websites forums ect, or is it just normal traffic from google searches?
xxxxx
I wrote a Hub about how you can improve your Hub earnings and it includes a poll for folks to say how they've been doing.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Improve-Your-Hub-Earnings
So far 44% of the people who've responded make less than $10 a month.
My personal best in 2008 was a one month take of about $870, with nearly $200 of that coming from the much-maligned Kontera ads.
I just voted on your hub so hopefully that will change a little lol
Kontera did not work for me - took me 6 months to make $100, so I guess it depends what you write on. Thanks for the link to my cubicle site though
I have just started - still not got my first adsense check!
I am reading your hubpages. they are very useful!
Depending on the topic you need to be building links to your hubs in forums/blogs whatever so that google will niotice you and bring in the search traffic. That said the same topic on a hub will generally get more search traffic than the topic on your own site - I know Ive tried it!
I made about $200 in 10 months, give or take a few bucks.
Now that I got my first google payout its adding up quicker in the last few weeks.
That is from all the affiliates, Google being the best, E-bay second, Kontera third and Amazon last.
It took me 10 months to earn just over $100 from AdSense in December. I notice that since then I've earned a third of that already. Nowhere near Mark's totals, but then again I only have 40 hubs. I have earned a grand total of $13 from Amazon.
I've noticed that too Susan. I'm already half way to my next Google payout, and this has been since the beginning of Dec, so the earnings are definitely piling up. (or inching up I guess on however you look at it)
I just think it's the coolest thing in the world to actually get paid to hub.
Snap, Dorsi. I've made $45 since the beginning of December which is amazing. I'd like to think it's a trend that will continue, but I have a sneaking suspicion that Christmas shopping may have had a little to do with it. Still, I'm halfway to my next payout already so that has to be a good thing!
This was a good forum to start. I was wondering about that. Great information. Thanks!

I've also started on blogger for the first time. I think it's good in addition to hubpages.
<promotional link snipped>
I now earn $110-150 per month, all from AdSense (I don't have Kontera running yet), on a bit more than 100 Hubs.
I started hubbing just after Christmas, and I already have $140.00. I've been promoting my site on facebook nearly everyday.
That's an impressive amount for such a short time. If I may ask Tyler, how are you promoting at Facebook? I always link my hubs to my profile there but do nothing other than that.
I think I can shed some light on this one...
Tyler is doing "active linking" of his material on Facebook.
For instance, he may see that one of his friends wants to learn a fun way to lose weight, so he says "OK, here is someone who could benefit from my article." and thus actively promotes it.
Very cool! I would love any advice you might share about how you're doing this. Maybe you could do a hub about it.
Or perhaps, you might post a link to your Facebook profile?
Do you think its worth me starting a facebook account for this purpose?
x
Facebook is a great social networking site, it's good to have a profile there anyway, and you can submit your hubs there directly from hubpages. I have not only found lots of family and friends there but have noticed more people reading my hubs off of my profile.
I use most of the social bookmarking sites like facebook.
I know it is a bit slow to make money online, but you are out there working and you ask intelligent questions and seem fearless. I can hardly believe your writing output in such a short time.
I wish you the best, and I am really impressed with you and the way you think.
I would say using facebook is fine but the amount of friends you would have to have to make a decent impact would be incredible. It would probably easier with an established facebook precense.
I have earned about $140 so far. Not all paid out yet, since I have not reached all of the limits. I earned $50+ from both eBay and Google and $20+ from both Kontera & Amazon. Not too bad for less than 6 months of hubbing and 11 hubs.
With 363 hubs I am getting paid about 500.00 a month from google-kontera-ebay-amazon combo on an average. If you add in the hits that I drive to my blog from here then it is a bit more. Hub pages has been very very good to me.
Does anyone here make any measurable money writing here or other revenue sharing sites or do you have actual paying clients that pay real money for articles?
I am relatively new to hubpages, but the money is already starting to come in. So, I am hopeful. I also write on Squidoo and have two blogs which together earn me over $1,000/month. So, yes, you can make real money.
Hi can you please enlighten me as to what blogging sites you use and also is it just with adsense? - because I have not made a cent with any of the affiliated sites on hub pages other than adsense and that now stands at $44.00...cheers
Stacie,
for the last 18 months, since my husband became disabled, I have been supporting our family (8 people) on a combination of the money I make on affiliates here and paying clients on other venues.
Some of my best clients found me here.
I just started a Face Book account. It seems a little silly, (thanks to the people who've befriended me already,) I don't know if it will really help with Hub Pages, but it looks like a good place to waste some time.

I have over 500 friends on Facebook, and many times I simply promote my site in the online chat with whatever friends are online. I simply copy and paste my site link when im chatting with friends and they go and check it out. I've learned that the nicer you are to people the more likely they are to visit your site and express interest in all that you're doing.
I now have $168.00 in my adsense account, and I joined Hubpages just after Christmas.
thank you for sharing your insight and info.
Just started to produce here on Hubpages, so right now nothing, but I look forward to earning alot from my Hubs!

Lately, I've been earning between $400-$500 in Adsense each month, about $50 in amazon, and about $30-$60 in ebay. Kontera, eh... I haven't checked that in a while; I don't think that I make $100 a month but probably every few months.
I was a big fan of December, as my amazon shot up past $200, and ebay went past $150ish. That was nice.
I don't use anything except my own blogs to drive traffic, which actually gets so-and-so traffic. I have some of my hub links on my facebook account, but not many. I don't get much traffic via facebook anyway though. The majority of my traffic is solely from search engines.
I Think you have made others to feel Jealous over your earnings..
Mark and relache make more than me with their combined earnings from all of the affiliates. My amazon and ebay aren't as well as I'd like, and when combined all of the affiliates, they still make more than I do. It's a lovely addition to a regular income though.
I just joined a month back and looking forward to earning some money along with writing some interesting stuff. seems that 1 hub = $1.50 per /mo with most people.

I have heard the saying :Fake it till you make it; but today I read an interesting thread sparked by howtoguru. I have searched but can't seem to pick up a link to his hubs. let me backtrack.I read a hub with a poll; and unless it is ancient,66% of those who voted said that they earn $10 or less on...

I just wrote a hub on making money with HubPages but wanted to make sure it's ok before publishing. I know you are not supposed to mention what you are earning on HP, but is it ok to use titles like 'How To Earn $1000 per month on Hubpages', or 'How To Make $1 Million On Hubpages'? I don't...

How much, on average, do you earn per hub, per month on Hubpages?

Does anyone make any money on Hubpages?Does anyone make any money on HubPages? I have written 63 hubs. 56 have been featured, so far I have made less than $10.00.

I am talking about best and worst scenarios. I have been through many posts on the forum and other places. From what I understand, you can hope to make (in the best case) about $1 per month per hub. So is that true for many of you? For instance, if I go berserk and post 1000 hubs (don't even ask me...

How to earn $30 per month?I have around 200 views per day, earn approximately 50-60 cents per day, which means, I could earn $15 per month. What should I do to earn $1 per day so that I could reach $30 per month?
