I must admit that is was touch and go there for a minute but I am falling in love with the site again. It wasn't HP that I was sore with but some very mean people here. I am allergic to negative people you know...lol
Oh, Cardisa! I go through the same thing with HP folks. Staff is staff, and they are doing what they can to maintain the business and the quality that makes it profitable. Sometimes I think we hubbers are one whiny bunch, and it gets discouraging. I guess I really take very seriously the adage that if one has nothing nice to say, then they ought say nothing at all.
I am growing rather fond of Hubpages, I'm got onboard in March. I was sliding into depression before I started writing. Now I'm looking forward to my next hub topics and feeling very much alive again. This is my first forum experience, I must say. you're all pretty upbeat! I see you are all in the 80s and 90s how did you do that?
`Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe: All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe. "Beware the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the Jubjub bird, and shun The frumious Bandersnatch!" He took his vorpal sword in hand: Long time the manxome foe he sought -- So rested he by the Tumtum tree, And stood awhile in thought. And, as in uffish thought he stood, The Jabberwock, with eyes of flame, Came whiffling through the tulgey wood, And burbled as it came! One, two! One, two! And through and through The vorpal blade went snicker-snack! He left it dead, and with its head He went galumphing back. "And, has thou slain the Jabberwock? Come to my arms, my beamish boy! O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!' He chortled in his joy. `Twas brillig, and the slithy toves Did gyre and gimble in the wabe; All mimsy were the borogoves, And the mome raths outgrabe.
You fib. You're another bright spot in these here forums, Mr. Simey. I don't know that I've ever seen anyone 'round these parts who stayed so positive and impartial ALL the time. You're an inspiration to us all, I say!
I like HubPages a lot so far, tbh. (I also had no idea what a "meme" was until reading this thread. For anyone else who doesn't know, "An image, video, etc. that is passed electronically from one Internet user to another." is one of the definitions. I assume it is the one that applies here.) Sorry for the un-funny post everyone. I'm at work right now and can't type much at the moment...
I am fond of hubPages already even if I am still a newbie. I joined hubPages on the 8th of March 2013 and now I am loving HubPages especially when I got an email from Google AdSense saying that I have been accepted. Yehey.
Wow, what hit HubPages?I went to have my hair cut at 4:30 p.m. and my score here was at 93 and, now, two hours later, is fell 9 points to 84? How in the world can it drop that much in two hours? Has anyone's dropped a good bit in the past few hours that you've noticed?
Today my husband asked me if I'd seen his wife and he thought maybe if he turned off the computer, he might find her. SOOO...that got me thinking...how do others organize their time? Do you focus only on Hubpages as a main venue, or do you spend a lot of time on other writing sites and...
