Another week, another month and we are already in March. Very soon we will be celebrating the Easter holidays. First of all a big thanks to all the great HubMobbers who took part in last week's Wedding HubMob. The Hubmob is already gathering an amazing amount of views (more than 600 a day) and the wedding season is starting soon, so be prepared to have some amazing traffic on your wedding HubMobs
This week I'll put on my "bunny rabbit costume" and off we go to hub about one of the most important religious festivals for Christians. The HubMob weekly topic is: Easter. It is time to hub about the religious significance of Easter, ways of celebrating Easter around the world, Easter games, Easter eggs, bunny rabbits and chocolate... yummy!
Some ideas for an Easter HubMob are:
- Easter Origins, significance, dates - Best Easter holiday places - Easter around the world - Easter decorations and crafts - Easter food - Easter symbols: the Easter bunny, Easter eggs, etc. - Easter traditions and celebrations - Non-Christian Easter celebrations - Easter for children: indoor and outdoor games - Easter greetings, cards and gifts - Free online Easter colouring pages, and online games for children
3. Choose a relevant title for your HubMob To get a good ranking in the search engines make your title relevant to your hub content and avoid starting your title with "Weekly HubMob" 4. Feel free to use the tags that I suggested and add your own tags. 5. If necessary change the category for your hub according to your content. 6. Write an awesomely comprehensive Hub that completely covers your topic idea. 7. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/request/10737/best?new/&rss 8. Add the Easter HubMob graphic specially made by ProCW for the occasion to your Hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week. 9. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity! 10. Keep track of your Hub and keep us updated on any traffic that you're getting and post some screenshots if you end up HubMobbing a few search keywords over on Google.
Yep, that's about it - have fun writing your HubMob Hub this week and please let us all know if you have any questions. Have fun, you crazy HubMobsters.
I will work on an Easter one this week as it is one fo my favorite holidays, can you also see if the wedding one was linked? I realize it was an odd one however I based it on Ryan's thoughts, althoug far from traditional I certainly thought it would be a fun one to wrtie.
Hmm I don't know I put the rss feed but the address is not showing any links Sorry call me over excited but I had 1 1/2 Easter Hubs done already lol sorry but I love Easter http://hubpages.com/hub/Easter_Egg_Coloring
It seems like I've read something or another in one of the forums here that sometimes RSS feeds aren't updated immediately, or something like that? Maybe that was the case here? Next time, maybe we should get Carmen Sandiego on the trail of the missing HubMob RSS feeds.
topics/keywords/keyword phrases... what's the difference? hehe... i might just be sayin' they're highly searched... and hopin' some of these great HubMobsters will do themselves justice and start snaggin' 'em up!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh, and if any of you would like to use the little Easter eggs above in your HubMob hubs, I put them here for use by all of you great HubMobsters!!!! And yes, I colored them all by myself...
Here is mine and I am certain I will have a seocnd one, http://hubpages.com/_dwn4bbs4rxf1/hub/E … r-Chidren? or the hub is called Hop And Stop Easter Songs For Chidren I believe all is correct with the exception of clicking on the request , I am getting the hankg of it , sorry about that.
If you do not answer Princessa's request, you REALLY lose out on the traffic that could swing in from the other hubs!!! (AND even more importantly --- you're not really a part of the HubMob if you don't answer the request.)
Sorry if I sound prudish --- I'm not. It just defeats the purpose if you don't follow ALL of the instructions.
Quick reference: Answer the request. Create great hub. Include HubMob RSS feed. Include HubMob graphic. Post link to your HubMob hub in forum (only if you've followed ALL of Princessa's instructions.)
oh dear - with 'Charlie's Easter" I forgot to answer the request although followed all the other rules re. rss and hubmob etc - next time I will do it properly - sorry about that..just came up with an idea and started to write before realising I had it back to front.....
i may have said that incorrectly... here's a better way of putting it... you could write a new hub with a different "slant"... keeping your old one as is... and having a different take on the same ideas presented in your old hub... you'd then have 2 hubs... one being a part of the hubmob and the other being a regular hub.
OR... you can delete it... create a new hub with a similar URL/title and answer Princessa's request... copy all of your old content into the new one... add the graphic... add the RSS feed and then post a link in here with your newly created HubMobbed hub.
Bloody hell - I only posted my "Painting, decorating, waxing and colouring Easter Eggs" hub in the last 24 hours, and some mad bint's nicked it and published it on a blog! Word for word, photo for photo, every last drop.
