Also, if anyone posts a blog on their intent to join the Hub Challenge on Monday, please post a link in here and let us know!
...and be sure to use one of these sweet graphics:
I'm new here. But 30 hubs in 30 days is not that challenging for me. Count me in for 100.
I'll be spending the weekend planning my topics.
How exciting! I am taking some work-related courses that have a June 15th deadline for earning a bonus at work, but I'm thinking I might be able to squeeze in 30 hubs in 30 days. I'll think it over during the weekend and decide by Sunday night. Either way, good luck to all of those participating!
Yes!! This is going to be a true test of our Hubber wills!
Also, here is a tweet that I just send out with the #HubChallenge hashtag if any of you are wanting an example of what it looks like.

OH...I usually try for 30 Hubs a month, so I'm in as well.
Posted on my blog

This looks great -- thanks for posting!

Did anyone else post a blog yet?
Ironically, this was my month to concentrate on hubpages. I have my own little challenge that I had started last month with writing on multiple sites like I do.
Put me down for 100 hubs. As of right now, I am 3 away from hitting my 50th hub so by the time we start up on Monday, I will have an even number to work with.
I will also try for 30 - be good if I could manage more but we will see....
I will do 100 and more if I focus, focus is the key to focusing on focused focusing!!!!!!!
LMAO -well I have said for a long-time that I made money at hubpages at it was a great place to support my other sites! Its a bit of a laugh to see Court v. Ryan so I am going to join too - I already know if I post a new hub with "lissie" I automatically got to 100 for author score - so I'm starting a new account just to see what will happen!
My pick - keyword research will win...
BTW if anyone of you are wondering what the keyword academy is - I wrote a review of keyword academyhere
Oh, I'm going to do my fair share of keyword research, too -- but just on the stuff that I like to write about and already know a little about. It will all work out...right?
Also, I'm glad that you're finding this amusing. haha
I'm going to hub with this profile, but I am also going to try out a new one. I've been wanting to do something like this for a while, this is just a bit more of an incentive...
I've been getting updates to Court's blogs for a little bit now, but I somehow missed how all this started!
I am game for the challenge! 100 Hubs in 30 days is approximately 4 Hubs per day which is not a very tough job if I can put my heart at it. One of my referrals too is keen to give this a try!
nearer 3 than 4, surely? 3.33333 (recurring)
It's complete three, and start research for the fourth.
I am planning on the weekends off and there are 4 weekends in the next 30 days, which makes it only only 22 days work. Which makes it 4.54 hubs per day.
We shall see
In the immortal words of Leroy Jenkins...
"Alright chumps, let's do this...."
This is the type of attitude I like to see....chumps.
My goal for this challenge is pretty steep (Jimmy). I am going to make every effort to publish three researched hubs of 1000 words a day and work on a few in the background to be published when they are ready (for a total of 100 in 30 days). I'm not overly interested in doing keyword research because I'd rather write about the things that interest me, but I am aware of which of my current hubs are doing the best and will target those topics more deeply throughout this challenge.
I posted a hub today that, including research, took me an hour and a half to write. I thought it was decent, more than 1000 words, including links, videos and images. *Nearly* meeting flagship guidelines, though the quality could use a bit of a going-over!
That's the spirit.
You're going to have A LOT of work to do...but, it sounds like you're up for it!
Ok, I'm in but I'm gonna create a new account to start from scratch also. By the way, I'm on the west coast and I won't start until 12am on monday so that gives easterners a 3 hour head start. By the way, I plan on challenging myself to see if I can actually write 300 quality hubs in 30 days a.k.a. 10 hubs per day. Have fun and happy writing!
I am, Ryan! I know that I can do it, it's just going to have to be steady, and I'm going to have to not look back. That's the hard part. Not looking back, questioning or regretting. But I know I can do it!
BTW, I know that there is a keyword tool that tells you how much Adwords is charging on certain keywords. Can somebody direct me to it? Thanks!
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal#
use "exact match" rather than broad match to get more reliable search vols. Also remember the CPC cost per click is what advertiser pay - you are likely to get about 20% of the CPC
The Keyword Tool that I use is Wordtracker that is accessible from the Google Search Engine. Click on Free Word Suggestion Tool and enter your key word.
Got a blog started. Will post to it with each hub and the number I am at when we get started.
I am adding a blogroll to link to any other blogs that are being started just for this purpose.. Send me a message and I'll add a link to your blog. don't matter if its 30 or 100
http://100hubsin30days.blogspot.com/
I had to laugh...I wrote 38 hubs in two years!!! And now I'm saying yes to 30 hubs in 30 days!
Well, I know I will be hubcrazy in the next month. But what the heck, will give it a try.
Okay Ryan, I'm in!
sunstreaks how are you going to find time to write 100 hubs AND link to all of us? But you know what it's a great idea. And I'm thinking about it too!
I won't be able to post all the hubs, but if you make a blog to post your hubs to.. I'll post a link on my blogroll that goes to your challenge blog.. If everyone starts making blogs now to get ready, it'll be really easy to just add those who are starting them later as I go. If everyone adds a blog roll to their challenge blog, that will be some good linky love juice to spread around.
I'm not working right now so I have quite a bit of free time. I'm actually on vacation with my daughter's dads family in South Carolina till Thursday so I'll be a little behind at first maybe.
I've been averaging about 30 each month for the past 3 months and that's not including the article writing I've been doing on other sites to promote my hubs. So 100 isn't too much of a stretch.
If you set up a blogger blog. There is a tool at the bottom of each hub that makes it really easy to post to blogger.
The biggest struggle will be brainstorming topic ideas.
I havent read all but inspired by all of you. I will go for it. If not 100 atleast 30.
Don't some of you already have a blog? I would just post updates there if you do.
Also, I've officially blogged it on the HubPages blog and I'll be posting it on my personal one, too.
http://blog.hubpages.com/2009/05/the-hu … re-you-in/
And so here is mine too - http://100hubpagesin30days.blogspot.com
Maybe adding rss feeds could be a good idea of others blogs or hubpage latest articles!!?
okay here's mine http://100hubchallenge.blogspot.com/
I really like the sense of community that's forming around this. We'll give each other some backlinks and encouarge each other.
My other blogs are about visiting cape cod. I would really confuse a bunch of future tourists blathering on about a hub challange.
Do you ever use Google Keyord tool?
It's pretty awesome...
https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
I think sunstreek is on to something. Linking to each other's blogs is probably the easiest thing to do. Going to watch NUMBERS, my favorite show and then add you all to my blogroll.
Ryan, I actually deleted mine a while back and was going to be setting up a new one at some not-yet-known date. So for now I'm going with blogger
OK, I'm out of here for the night...be sure to get those topics started up this weekend!
ok, I'm in 30 for 30. I have a blog that I've not used in awhile. This would be a great use for it! Let's Go!
I've updated all of the blogs that have been posted. Everybody's blogrolled!
http://em-hub-challenge.blogspot.com/
Are those your kids on your blog, ripplemaker? They're so cute!
No they are not. I'm not married. Although I have 70 kids in all - my preschool children. hehehe
I've included everyone's blog in my blogroll as well. I did start another thread (I don't know how to link to it, am I too wound up or what) about listing our blogs so that noone would get missed. I'm not sure I'll have time to go through this set of posts. I'll just look there for folks to add. Am I making sense? I'm trying to. I wrote 4 hubs today, because I already have started my own personal challenge this month.
Let's try to keep that thread clean by only posting to it once each then. Thanks Nelle!
LOL! Good one! I didn't read through the blog very deeply so I wouldn't have gotten that. I wonder how often people do that and don't admit it? LOL
LOL No problem. It just made me smile and laugh.
Well I came here to say "I'm in" but now...I'm confused! lol. Are we choosing sides and are there certain topics we are supposed to do or not do? Do the hubs we write have to be about the same thing?
I'd like to be in for 30 in 30 days but first I need to know what I'm doing.
I read that before I posted, but thanks. It does not specify if the topics have to be the same or if it's just a random thing...
I will definitely be giving 30 a shot! That is 30 combined with another profile... we'll see. I may go for 30 with this profile alone. It's really going to help me with my time management skills, something I've been needing to tackle for a while now.
Okay, I've realized 300 is probably pushing it, so I'm reducing it to the 100 as challenged. Somebody is going to have to explain the concept of backlinks because I think I only have a vague understanding of them, lol.
I'm in just as long as food, meds and pee bottles are provided for! Nah, even with my 10 alter egos I can only dream of 10 hubs in 30 days. Goodluck to all participants - and to your fans of course (how they'd keep up is beyond me!)
Hey I want in 100 Hubs in 30 days, that sounds motivating. what do i do? Either way I'll start Monday too.
Sorry. I just don't get enough computer time or time
but hope is ok if I cheer you on and be proud of you?
Ryan

I will do 30 and try for 100
M

are we going to see any feedback? I recall something about HubPages reporting stats provided we tagged our hubs, which I duly did.And for those of us who sweated to achieve the magic 30 or even 100 in 30 days, apart from a bit of forum dialogue we've seen nothing... HubPages itself...

I haven't been actively writing on Hub Pages in a while and want to get back into this and this might get me motivated.I remember hearing about a 100 hub challenge some years ago and I know that I could not possibly write 100 hubs in a month. That is why I am attempting to do this in a...

I understand some people are worried about the "antiHubChallenge" or whatever it's called, and I just wanted to say something on a personal level to get my own thoughts out in the open about it. And this is my PERSONAL view - yes, we do have a HubChallenge team and we...

I'm just coming back after a several year hiatus, and one of the most exciting things that started when I was here was the HubChallenge. Originally, it was 30 hubs in 30 days. Now I see it's changed to either updating your hubs or 30 hubs in 60 days. I tried the original once, and I failed...
