In answer to the Ryan's earlier question I let my blog drop off the face of Internet earth when I was battling invasive breast cancer this past year. I have started trying to figure out Twitter and will be posting progress there.
I'm so sorry to hear that - how are you now?
Seems to me that you have your priorities about right. Welcome back.
I am publishing my first Hub and the time in India is 1:15 AM and 11th of May 2009.

Yippee Anamika! I'm going to follow your footsteps!
I just sent an email to Paul Deeds to see if we could get an RSS feed from the 'hubchallenge' tag page.
I sent off an email to team@hubpages.com on Friday/Saturday asking a question. Any chance you could get someone to have a look at it?
Every tag page has RSS feeds already, so that was easy.
http://hubpages.com/tag/hubchallenge/latest?rss
Hmmm, I thought so -- is there a link anywhere on the tag pages, or am I just blind?
In most browsers there will be an active RSS symbol in the address or tool bar.
Gotcha --
Speaking of RSS...I found another awesome blog post about the Hub Challenge!

I've published my first hub too.

Published it on facebook.
Did I forget something? Nah...
Now I can go back to sleep.
You guys take care...
I'm starting and finishing according to BST (British Summer Time) as I'm far too thick to work out what time it is where hubpages is!
I'm one of the lucky ones whose lymph nodes were doing their job and glad to be alive. I stayed on hubpages the whole time, as reading and writing hubs kept me sane. Nothing like thinking you are going to die to make you get off your butt and write like there's no tomorrow.
Ain't that the truth. Glad to hear it - and if you need any help with getting your blog back up and running - drop me a line. I should have time in between the 40,000 words I have agreed to write.
Next month
Hi Jerilee Wei, can I join London Girl to give you a hug too? Do you know my sis in law got herself into a scare too when her lymph nodes started growing big. Really painful too. She had to undergo biopsy. Right now, no tests are conclusive. Daisy and I did a healing session with her (That is about the only thing I could do at times like these). And so far the doctor has said he is 95% sure she is okay. But will have to go back after a month. Yes, I am glad to know you are okay. Take care...
You are not allowed to even think about dying I like reading your Hubs lol.
Glad you are on the mend.
mandy
Thanks Mark Knowles for your kind offer, I'll think it over.
Thanks LondonGirl!
Okay, 6.20am in China and my first one goes out, is there an RSS feed and I'm not sure what a hash tag is so just tweeted it.

I just thought of another benefit of the 100 hubs in 30 days...all the quality stuff we are writing will push the spammy hubs into the background.
We're going to try this, and signed up just to do it! LOL. Now we do take lots of naps, so we'll see. We'll try 30 in 30 for starters. Sounds exciting. May need answers to a few questions along the way. Is this where we ask?
Please Check the FAQ and help Forum. All the best for the Challenge!
Will do, thank you Anamika! Let the games begin.
Looking forward to reading your Hubs - talk about jumping in at the deep end! As Anamika said, if you need any help, ask in the Help forum and someone will always offer good advice.
It is past midnight in Greece, so I have already made a start
Great to hear that you've already kicked off the challenge!
Be sure to tag the Hubs that you publish for the Hub Challenge with 'hubchallenge'. You can keep track of how many Hubs have been published by going to this link:
http://hubpages.com/tag/hubchallenge/hot
Any chance you can manually remove the hubchallenge tag from hubs that were published 2 to 3 days ago?
Not sure, but I can look into it...there are always going to be Hubs that leak through the cracks though. Not much we can do about that.
Thanks mandybeau and ripplemaker! It was a lot to wrap my mind around more than anything. The masectomy was less trouble than having a root canal. I am blessed that my lymph nodes did their job and that I didn't have to go through chemo. For me, it was a life altering event that made me a better person. No regrets!
Well, I'm glad you are back with us. I'm a breast cancer survivor myself but I only had a lumpectomy. Can't wait to read your hubs again...
Here come the Hub Challenge Hubs!!
I LOVE it!
A few of mine are coming soon...still wondering if I should let all of you know my account or not. I really don't see why I need to stay anonymous, although I do know why Court does.
Yessssssssss....are you going for 30 of 100 in 30 days? Pick your poison, my friend.
haha...
Also, don't forget to follow our (super-easy) directions:
Has anyone else blogged about being crazy enough to join in the challenge? I still need to blog about it in my personal blog, which I'm doing here in the next hour or so.
Check out some of these blogs, blog posts and Hubs that have been written to commemorate this amazing occasion. Thanks to all of you who have helped spread the Hub Challenge love -- it's going crazy!
Also, if you have blogged about it, but you haven't posted a link to it here in the forums, feel free to do it now!
...and a video:

I will go for 30, if I do anymore than that, it will just be a miracle.
My blog is up and running (finally!)
http://www.girlygirlblog.com
I've had the domain for a while, but never utilized it. This challenge will be a good place for me to start!
Quite an undertaking and wish I could join all of you, but I have a full-time job and am darn lucky write a couple on the weekend! Having said that, I'll look forward to reading all of your efforts am happy to leave comments and hit the "up" button as many times as the content merits! Happy blogging, ya'll!
I am in for 30 hubs! I haven't written a hub in awhile, so this should be fun!
Nah... too tough for me to spit out 3.3 quality hubs a day. I gotta enjoy life too. As it is I'm in front of this PC way too much.
Good luck to all that take on this challenge.
Just got searing pains in my right wrist...hope this will be gone by tomorrow or 100 hubs will be just a dream...
Thanks for the email. I am in.
I will commit to 30 but lets see how many I can do.
Well, I guess this is a good excuse to start hubbing some more! With all of my deadlines met, this could be a cool "hobby" for the next month. Great Idea!
Count me in for 30 in 30 days. I'll shoot for 100 but I know I can produce 30 hubs.
I guess I'm in, too! It's been awhile since I've consistently cranked out hubs, so this is the perfect excuse. I'm gonna go for the 100!
Well, I guess this isn't a challenge meant for those with full-time jobs, but I would love to try it too! Good luck to everyone, and happy Mother's Day!
Come on -- you can do an average of 1 Hub a day, can't ya?
If not, we always can use some more cheerleaders!
OK...I'm a new huber, but I'm in. My volunteer copy editor is gonna go nuts!
Dexter
Great challenge. I will see if I can manage it. I will give it a go and see if I can accomplish this challenge.
I am soooo in!
This is what I need right now! Everyone knows content is king! This is perfect and look forward to having an explosive 30 days because of this challenge!
It's exciting to see what it could bring for everyone involved.
ya girl...

This is my first blog post! Woooo hoooo.....now I just need to finish figuring out the twitter stuff. I set up the twitter account earlier today and made a post, but I don't think I did it correctly. I need to go work on that.
I have 16 of the 30 topics sorted out.
Ok, I've managed to go back to Twitter and found a few of my Hub friends and it appears that I successfully posted my first tweet! I also have the hashtag on my tweet. Woooo hooo. On Twitter, I'm known at KCCBigCountry (no spaces). You'll see the clapping monkey!
Congrats on your first tweet!
Are you going to join the challenge?
I know you're being bombarded with posts from many directions, Ryan. But, I joined the 30 day challenge in one of these many pages today. Yes, count me in for 30 in 30! I have 16 title and topics chosen. Will start them tomorrow.
I never got my question answered but...I'm in. Probably on this ID.
Put my name in the pot. Why not? Sounds like real fun! Starting first thing in the morning. Did you say 100? More than 3 a day, huh?
I am going to aim high. Going for 100. Boy that is going to be alot of work!! whew! I love a challenge though.
woooo! it's officially Monday morning on the East Coast in the U.S.A!
Im new here and I want to take the challenge... please count me in.
Ohh my first post here, please be gentle with me.
I'm doing the 30 hubs in 30 days challenge (was too wimpy to go for 100).
I started last week after I read court's challenge on his blog so I've already got 4 hubs under my belt for this challenge.
Only made 0.86 cents with Adsense so far, but it's still early days.
Good luck to everyone else in the challenges.
Tracey

I kinda feel out of the mix here... I write about skateboarding lol... that's not to say I can't come up with 100 (100!?) hubs on that topic, right?
This challenge couldn't have come at a better time...
Count me IN!
PS. Don't hate me if I only write 30 :-)
Count me in. I will give it a good try at at least. A great way to commit to writing more. Thanks!
I've just started "hubbing," although I've been blogging for a couple of years. I might try writing as many hubs as I can, but I don't want the zeal for quantity overwhelm quality. I want to have fun here, and, if it earns me money, that's great. I don't think that the readers should be subjected to haphazard writing too much, as there is already such an overflow of information, people have trouble focusing on mundane tasks, let alone life's goals:)
In any case, I'll probably be writing here more than usual, and we'll see what happens.
DFW TEEN VOICE I feel challenged to write as many as possibe
here for 30-100 for the goal.
My goal is 100, but I'm a perfectionist and wouldn't publish anything sub par. I've already brainstormed 90 ideas and am really happy with the topics I've chosen, thus far. I think this requires major planning and no one should start writing 100 in 30 days without a plan in place and they should also have plenty of time to dedicate to it.
I am lucky right now as I'm on summer break from college and in between major projects at work. I really wanted to write 100 hubs in 30 days, anyways, as I'm upping my course load this fall in a new, studying intensive major (legal studies) and will not be able to work a traditional job. I basically need to have an income of $300 a month to cover my car payment and credit card bills. All my other living expenses will be covered by the loans I am taking out (ugh!). Anyways, after writing another 100 quality hubs, (most carefully targeted), I think i'll be earning around $150-$250/month, based upon my current earnings with 60 hubs. I know this wouldn't be possible if I wrote 100 poorly done hubs. I have enough time on my hands to dedicate 10 hours a day @ 5 hubs a day. 2 hours per hub is plenty. If I get stuck on something, I'll save it and move on to another and revisit later. This method might actually improve the quality of my hubs...who knows?
In for 30.
Maybe a hundred if I can try and get my clients to change their deadlines

I haven't been actively writing on Hub Pages in a while and want to get back into this and this might get me motivated.I remember hearing about a 100 hub challenge some years ago and I know that I could not possibly write 100 hubs in a month. That is why I am attempting to do this in a...

are we going to see any feedback? I recall something about HubPages reporting stats provided we tagged our hubs, which I duly did.And for those of us who sweated to achieve the magic 30 or even 100 in 30 days, apart from a bit of forum dialogue we've seen nothing... HubPages itself...

HelloI am very inspired to take the 100 hubs in 30 days challenge. I will do my best, but i really request for guidance regarding rules and regulations. I hope the nice people here will co-operate with meRegardsPeruquois

I've scrounged HubPages for this challenge as I posted one Sunday, one yesterday, and am working on what today. With only 20 hubs in the years I have been on here, I think it would be a great challenge. Is anyone currently undertaking this? Do you have any other advice?
by Radhika Sreekanth 12 years ago
After the short break, I'm back here again trying a challenge planning to start from March 1st. I already have some hubs based on 'computer programming' with me as it is my forte. Rest all I plan to write during this challenge on some of my interesting topics. Is there anyone else to join me?
by PattyJane 11 years ago
