Hi everybody! Another week starting, another challenging weekly topic to tackle.  Last week we were all about marriage, this week we are going to write about what some people seem to think is the best way to man's heart: food.

But before we start getting hungry I want to mention last week's most prolific HubMobsters:

Anath was the most prolific marriage HubMobster with 3 entries:
    - Why do women want to get married
    - Quotes reflections and thoughts on Marriage
    - Quotes reflections and thoughts on Marriage 2

    Following Anath we have emievil,
Lisa Agnew and RedElf RedElf with 2 hubs each.

I also want to thank Shirley Anderson for the great job she does every week gathering all the hubmob hubs in one big hub.  Thanks Shirley.

This week we are going to write about food seen from a different angle.  We are going to write about Food Ethics and Traditions.  If you are vegetarian, diabetic, or if you have an allergy to certain foods and need a special diet, this is the week to let us all know about it, share your tips and recipes and advice on how to cope with your particular food challenge.  This is also an inspiring week for those of you who are worried about Animal Welfare and GM foods.  Finally, it will also be a good week to write about diet restrictions imposed by your religion, the place where you live and your culture.

I am sure this is going to be a deliciously enriching week!

Some ideas for a hub can be:

    Animal Welfare
    Cultural Restrictions
    Eating Utensils
    Environmental Concerns
Ethics of Meat Eating & Vegetarianism
    Food Anthropology
    Food Etiquette
    Food Taboos
    Genetically Modified Food
Health Restrictions: Diabetic Recipes, Gluten Free Recipes
    Regional Restrictions
    Religious Restrictions
    Sustainable Agriculture

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1. CLICK THIS LINK and answer the Request.

    2. Choose a relevant title for your HubMob to get a good ranking in the search engines, make your title relevant to your hub content and AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"

    3. Change the category for your hub according to your content.

    4. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/request/18249/?new&rss

    5. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week. http://i43.tinypic.com/rup3mg.jpg
You can also add the HubChallenge graphic to your hub and create a hubmob/hubchallenge hub.  http://i29.tinypic.com/2565x14.jpg

    6. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.  Take advantage of the free publicity!

    7. Keep track of your Hub and keep us updated on any traffic that you're getting and
have fun writing your HubMob Hub

For those who are still not sure about what is a HubMob and the benefits of taking part in one I created this guide http://hubpages.com/hub/What-is-a-HubMo … o-join-one , please feel free to come up with any questions if you have any doubts left.

I am just the same.  The wrist still very sore and the ankle refuses to heal.  I've started kinesiotherapy yesterday, so I hope that helps.

Don't rush your ankle, Princessa. Give yourself a little time to heal. I was in a cast with six weeks and on crutches for 3 more with a particularly bad break, and the sprain of the other one some years before took a long time to heal properly.
Take care of yourself and you'll be well soon enough. smile

  18. emievil profile image64

Hi Princessa, I hope your ankle will heal soon. My sister also had an accident that broke the bone on her leg (took 5 screws to repair the bone) and the therapy was really hard for her. Not that I am scaring you but I'm hoping you won't go through that experience. Get well soon!

    Hi Princessa,

I'm giving out vibes that you'll have a speedy and smooth recovery for your wrist and ankle.  It has to suck being slightly immobile.  Some years ago I tore my ligament at the ankle and it took weeks of physical therapy and months of strengthening it before I started walking without a limp.

You can't create your hub first - you have to create it after you click the link.
After you click the link to answer, you click "Make a hub about this" and then create your hub from there. Otherwise it won't be in answer to the question.
      Hope this helps

Good morning everybody, excellent work 25 hubs already and there is still time to submit more smile

    Just a few reminders:

To join the weekly HubMob you MUST CLICK THE LINK at the start of this thread and answer the Request.

Once you clicked on the link to answer you MUST CHOOSE the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option and ONLY THEN you START WRITING YOUR HUB.  This is absolutely necessary otherwise your hub does not show in the RSS feed and you don't get the extra promotion for your hub.

General, General, General.  None of your hubs were put through the "Answer this Request" link!  The one that you answered with via posting a link is your profile link and not the hub that pertains to food ethics and traditions that I put in the hub (my bad!).

Don't worry, GH.  We'll get ya there.  May I suggest as a quick-fix remedy that you answer the question with the applicable links and make sure that you have the HubMob graphic and feed in each hub?

Your other options are to either rewrite using a different slant, or unpublish them and republish them, going through the link in the first post of this thread for each one.  Please make sure that the hubs deal with the subject matter and you're good to go.  The only downside to republishing is that you will lose the original url.

      Clear as mud?  smile
