My husband and I have been busy getting our home ready for sale in order to downsize and simplify our lives.  I have little time to spend reading or responding to articles, and until we are settled in a couple of months, that may continue to be the case.  I think of my HP family of friends often, and hope you understand.  Wishing all of you the best that life has to offer.  I'll check in when I am able.  Take care!

Have a good move! Can be stressful. As you well know. Every so often take time off from thinking about shifting, losing and leaving  things and enjoy a relaxing break. Sit down somewhere quiet (fall asleep exhausted on someone's couch), slurp on fresh tea( down a wine or two), dunk a cookie or two(scoff loads of cake) and read meaningful poems(write down the truth in your personal diary ). Enjoy your new home Peggy.

    Peggy...
It's hard and very time consuming when you prepare to move.
Then that day comes when you actually move and there are so many more things to do which you didn't even think about.
Take your time.  I will be thinking about you and your husband.

It won't be easy, but you will make new memories in your new home.

    Take care.

Moving, particularly downsizing, is a lot of work. I think we all understand Peggy.

Just went through this Peggy and as exhausting and emotional as it has all been, we have no regrets. It was the right time and the right move for us. We are now working on getting a camper in order to live in temporarily, until we figure out what is next for us.
    I wish you the best!

Thank you for letting us know. We all look out for one another. My husband, daughter and I did this just last October. It's difficult, for sure, but so worth it in the end. My best wishes to you.

Hi Peggy. Linda and I have been getting rid of stuff for three or four years in anticipation of the downsize but the pile of acquisitions never seems to get smaller. I am dreading selling and moving. Good luck with your relocation.
