Prayers/good thoughts needed!

   I went to my oncologist/hematologist today, and the news wasn't good. My monoclonal protein (multiple myeloma) cells measure over 1,000 now, so I have to have a bone marrow biopsy. They're trying to schedule it for next Monday. I don't mind admitting that I'm scared. I'd greatly appreciate your prayers and/or positive thoughts. Thanks!

    It's comforting to know that all of you are "in my corner." I think I've really puzzled the doctors. lol. My "bad cells" count is high, but my platelet count, white cell count, hemoglobin, and blood calcium are all normal. The docs said with my monoclonal protein cells so high, my hemoglobin should be very low, but it's not. Evidently, however, the myeloma cells are beginning to damage my liver. Good thing I'm not a drinker!

    I had no idea about your health problems, I am thinking of you and praying that you will go on confounding the experts and get well again soon.
    I just know you will somehow turn this into a real positive experience and use what you are going through to help others.
    It is so wonderful to see what great responses you have got here from just a few of your friends on hubpages.
    My baptism verse was "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" - it has got me through some very bad times and I hope it will help you as it is sent with love and prayer.

    Wishing you well. I work with that type of energy as it being one that is caused by too much stress, way too much stress. When I think of you now, I think of cool running water and breathing gently.
    
    I also think of how the cells grow when they are normal. Id also ask yourself, and please do take this the way I mean it, as it is for self healing. Having an illness, How does having an illness serve me?
    
    I know you will get thru this well. Again, kind thoughts and healing.
