It's been a little over 2 weeks for me on the new HP Ad Program and I've reached payout. I'm really glad to see this because my Google revenue has taken a major nosedive.
Thanks HP!!
Hang in there hubbers!!
heck, i haven't even gotten an invite. kind of makes me wonder what is considered worthy on hubpages. not to be rude but personally i think it's insulting that only a select few are invited but such is life.
Congrats, Dorsi! Nice to know there is still some money being made on HP!
Congrats! This is encouraging to those of us that are waiting for the program.
Congrats! I doubt that I will make it this month (of course I don't have your collect of hubs either! ), but should make it next month quite easily.
I also think that my combination of ad program and adsense is greater than adsense alone would be.
Congrats
I am doing pretty damn well myself, biggest day so far yesterday.
I'm $7 away. I must say it's good - now I think I can get a guaranteed payout EACH month - Adsense is averaging every second month still.
I made the payout threshold, too, but Google takes a beating when the program is running. When I turn HP ads off for several hours Google performs well, when it is on Google collapses. I am undecided if HP cannibalizes Google more than it earns. It also seems to affect the value of Google clicks.
A nice feature would be to allow HP ads on select hubs.
Although I haven't tried turning HP off, I have kinda suspected the same thing. But HP ads are still in Beta, and who knows what to call the status of Google/AdSense? I think HP's goal is that with their program plus AdSense, we'll be better off than with AdSense alone. More waiting it out...
Good to know Keith! Thanks for your honest input.
This is great feedback; thank you for sharing it. It might very well be the case that AdSense alone works better for you than combined AdSense and the HubPages Ad Program. For most so far, it seems the latter is the case, but it's not necessarily everyone.
The Program revenue is also hugely influenced by periodic campaigns by our ad partners, so the eCPM can go up for a while, and then drop as campaigns begin and end.
We currently only have a global (i.e. across all of your Hubs) toggle for the HubPages Ad Program, but maybe we'll work on allowing a toggle on a Hub-by-Hub basis.
Excellent
I just checked...I'm just over halfway to payout.
Congrats Dorsi.
2 weeks for additional $50 is good by any standard.
Congratulations! I love hearing good news like this - it keeps me motivated!
That's awesome! What is the payout $50?
I honestly can't believe how great the ad program is working for me. Which is nice since my adsense is taking a dive. It seems like what I am losing in adsense, I am gaining with the ad program. Almost evens out or I may be a tad bit ahead.
I am @$160 with the ads! Holy moly!
That's good to hear cause my earnings have basically dropped 50% and perhaps more....Hopefully the ad program will compensate the loss of earnings since Google Alg change.
A few months back I though I would make a few hundred dollars a month in passive income, but the goal was utterly destroyed when the google alg started.
I can not say I am neither optimistic or pessismistic at the moment. Perhaps I am neutralistic.
Yes congratulations to all those who have been lucky enough to be invited to the new Ad Program.
It sounds like it will be of an advantage to all of us once we finally get the invite too
Well done Dorsi, that is good news for those of us who are looking forward to being included.
I want in!! When's the next wave of invites??
Don't tell me to chill, Ryan - that's easy for you to say!
Thanks everyone. I do have to say that my adsense income has done a complete nosedive. I have always reached payout x 2 every month for the last year plus. This month I may not even make adsense payout so it's looking like I may "break even" with the HP ad program, which I'm glad for because the google algo change did hit me hard, although my traffic is slowly recovering.
And for those waiting to be in the HP ad program, hang in there because it's still in beta stage. I'm sure HP is waiting to make sure the program is working how they want it to before including everyone.
Just think of me as a successful guinea pig right now!

I'm almost at payout with the new HP ad program, so I'm pretty psyched! This isn't a "nanny-nanny-boo-boo" for those of you who aren't enrolled yet. I hope it gives you something to look forward to, since everyone will be onboard before long. Be happy that it works!Since I joined HP, I've...

A few days ago, I noticed that a lot of people were talking about changing from HP Ad Program to Google AdSense. I had tried that a few years ago, but switched back pretty quickly because I earned better with HP. Recently though, since my earnings have dropped so much, I figured I didn't have much...

Hi, what was you maximum earning with HubPages Ad Program in a month (not google adsense)? Is it possible to make much money with this program? Thanks.

I've been with HubPages for 4 years and have done well with the HubPages Ad Program and selling things on Amazon, but Google Adsense has been a trickle. I am finally close enough to the $100 payout that My New Year's Resolution Is To Finally Cash Out With Google Adsense! How is Google...

I was up to 95.16 on my adsense and then all of a sudden it stopped, but I don't remember making any changes - Since it is so close to the threshold, can someone please check my account to see why it is not registering hits any more? How can I fix this? I really appreciate your help.

In the past I relied solely on Adsense to earn income from Hubpages, however this year I was able to finally open a PayPal account, so I signed up for the Hubpages Ad program. As expected, I saw a drop in my Adsense earnings, but now it's practically non-existent. I was earning a couple dollars...
