Jama for pajama
Genee for genealogy (family history)
I research family history on the internet in my PJs. Or used to. Should probably change it to JamaHubber!
My username is completely different from all my other usernames on other websites that I use (with the exception of my newly created twitter and wordpress account for hubpages). I desired anonymity, so I didn't choose to use my real name or any of my other personal screen names that could be traced through google.
I chose it because I truly am a girly girl! I put '09 on the end because "girly_girl" wasn't available. Not too terribly creative, but I like it!
Nice to read about interesting profiles and their backgrounds
I have 2 beautiful daughters their names are Whisper and Katie. I took the first 3 letters from each name and got whikat. They are my inspiration to be everything I can be, every time I see my screen name I am reminded of my blessings. Thanks for asking. This thread is so much fun to read.
KCC=my initials
Big Country=the name of my website that was chosen by my husband because of his reference to America being the "big country". He's from England.
Well, Wittywriter is because I love to write and my sister has always told me I should have been a stand up comedian. Hence, Wittywriter.
I like my own name ,but nicknames can show another side of us
Eagle-My American affiliate ( just had to use that word) lol
Kiwi-I was born in New Zealand ( who are known also as Kiwi's ,after the Kiwi Bird-see my hub)
Eaglekiwi
I started with HealthCare Basics, though I did not understand that I could not change my profile name later. I am a nurse for thirty plus years (RN,BS/MS/MPHA). I wanted to write about health care issues, which I have a few, then added a few commentary hubs on my life, my dogs, etc. Love the Hubpage community so much. Have received a great deal of tips via email and hoping to continue to write a variety of hubs in the future.
Well, without giving it all away
As a mom of 4 kids, (3, 13, 20, and 22) I feel like a Nanny most days.
J.O.A.T. Comes from a book I read as a teen - the ship had specialists called Nannyjoats and Billyjoats. It has always stuck with me and really seems to fit me more and more as I age.
Nothing too complicated -- my shortened name (Elizabeth) plus 100, a number that I always use with any log in
My name is Earnest and I write hubs, so mu profile name is earnestshub, not very deep!
It would make sense if more people did as you Earnest Hub, I would like to know how many real members are on here it says 72,000, but we don't hear friom many, so is that all made up names or people that have left, or what?
I think many people simply sign up without having any idea about the site, some of them use the profile for commenting in hubs and posting in forums. Many others would simply be vanishing!
LadyBird - for my grandmother, may she rest in peace
33 - my sports number/lucky number
Charia Samher is my daughter's name. Instead of Maria, I changed M to Ch which is the first 2 letters of my husband's name. As for Samher, I wanted to add a name that came from my name; since the Latin meaning of my name is the "God/Goddess Sun" I thought of summer and eventually changed the spelling into Samher. Huh too complicated! lol! But I love it!
I had this name since last year My first name is Kristie and last name is Mackey and I was 32. LOL
your score honey is 3 your author score will increase as you become active in forums and when you post more nice hubs. you will see your score just within your photos. Like what you see in mine as well as with others. My score now is only 15.
My profile name is Useful Knowledge. Although all of my hubs may not be useful to everyone, I hope some of them will be useful to help someone:)
I think my profile name is a bit too obvious Needless to say, Superman is the best super hero of them all.
Does my user name need any explanation?
I thought I would do only Product Reviews.
Mine is my pen name. I chose the first part of my name as a combination between my aunt's first married name and my last name.
I have been told that Asher was a phallic diety in the Bible times, is a goddess of happiness and fertility, and also one who comes from the ashes. So, in conclusion, I am a burnt phallic god that brings happiness
Black and gold because I am a Steelers fan and banana because I love how that word sounds, plus there are times that I feel absolutely beat up and I am mentally bruised, just like a banana.
i believe in language as an art form, one that has to long been fettered by convention.the CHEAPTRICK is this....multi-layered communication,i try to touch every part of my readers mind.intelect,emotion,humor,etc.when i write ,the surface story is meant to hold your attention so the deeper meaning or real message is drawn from your mind(an epiphany)at its convenience.a well rounded piece gives you a feeling of satisfaction, kind of like a good meal lol...feed your head...
This is a wonderful question. My hub name has a lot of meaning behind it! Before I joined HP I had just had a heavy dose of Chinese culture so it reflected in my name here!
Dawei is my name in Mandarin Chinese. So, Dawei = David!
In Chinese the number 8 (pronounced ba) is a lucky number as it rhymes with the character for "get rich" (fa).
So, my hubpages name, Dawei888 is totally based on Chinese superstition.
Mine isn't very interesting, thought i would post a reply anyway.
Just the first word of my website, maybe i should go away and think about something more interesting.
sbeakr is an assemblage moniker of my real first and last names.
the tagline that goes with it: 'loud and clear' :is a play on the word and very aptly describes my actual speaking voice.
thanks for asking. this is fun.
I came across my name when I was signing up for a hotmail account, it's one of the names that came up. I liked it, and even though I never use hotmail anymore, I kept the name and it's now the name of my blog too.
My Profile name starts with my initials!
I go by CAM, Cassandra-Amber M. (I don't include my last name) And Anju means one who lives in the heart, I thought it was pretty... hence my profile name.
My name came from my nickname (Emie) and the first syllable of my married name which is Villanueva. Used to go by the pseudonym of "Jace" but since I showed my picture in my profile, I might as well give my real nickname .
I just used my email name. When i first signed up for email long ago, every username i punched in was taken. then finally i tried this one and it said not taken. So i use it most of the time for other things. But not my password, i makeup very long complicated passwords. maybe or maybe not or maybe.......lol
It is my yahoo id....i liked it very much and use it everywhere....
my name means the following:
the festival marking the end of the summer season and the end of the harvest
my name is a superhero basically no one knows about (spidermans daughter in an alternate series) but she is my favorite.
mine's really simple...although I did wrestle with the best name for a poetry man that wants to write "Manly" poetry...for a little bit. Then...It just became obvious...hhmmm
"I Got It!"
My hub name is just that, my name Earnest, the s is possessive and the word hub. Earnests hub
my name is simple, I love my yorkies. maybe not the most creative or unique.

Okay, this is why I dreaded the coming changeover -- Google authorship was working just fine under the old format, but the new profile page won't recognize my Google profile URL because I have an old Google member profile.Which works just fine with Google authorship, but Hubpages' new profile...

Hi,I know normally there cannot be more than 2 links to any one site on one hub.So, my question is, does that also count for links back to hubpages? For example, if I have two links back to myself and say 2 links to other hubbers' hubs, then is that considered 4 links (over the 2 limit) back to the...

There are such an interesting variety of profile/avatar names on here. I am just wondering if anyone is willing to share how they came up with theirs. Just curious.

Actually it is my name, but now I'm hoping that song is stuck in your head. Uh... HP's changed my name on my profile page. Kinda weird. Im not sure how it happened or why, but the name on my account is "Sed-me" and in that little fill-in-the-blank-real-name-spot, I had my real name which...

Hi I have noticed that there are, on the Internet, several other people, known as 'Trish_M', so I think that I would like to change my user name. I know that this isn't possible, at present, but I believe that I read that, in the future, we might be able to add our real names to our user names. Is...
