Thanks to all of your votes, HubPages has officially been nominated as a finalist in the Niche Social Network category for The 2008 Mashable Open Web Awards. This means that we are only a few votes away from being named the winner and snagging an amazing life-size, bronzed statue of the Internet that we can can install in front of our office in San Francisco. Actually, we probably will just get some sweet publicity, attract some good press and just feel really cool that the web is recognizing us as one of the top websites in the world.
