I Once returned from Australia with some Kangaroo
meat in my bag.
I arrived home and my Father asked me.
What did you bring me home from Australia ?
I said some Kangaroo meat, it is a delight to eat.
I cooked it for him and i said
Dad' how do you like your Kankaroo cooked
Well done he said !
Next day, I asked him. What did you think
of the Kangaroo meat Dad?
Why Jasus! it was gorgeous.
I was Hopping around the place
after i ate it.

Funniest person? for me, its Mr Bean, like the kangaroo thing anyway.
Funniest person in the world? Eddie Murphy (still)
Liked the kangaroo thing.
Personally, the funniest person in the world (locally that is) is Bob Marley (Maine Comedian).
~thranax~
I'm not sure what you're referring to but He's the guy that smashes everything.
I mean that the funniest person is probably a woman of Hebrew descent and unknown. They are very funny. Remember Gilda Radner?
Yes you're right, and now I feel dumber than I usually do,sorry.
Do remember Gilda Radner, but prefer Rita Rudner and was blessed with a "spare" day in Las Vegas in 2006 which allowed me to catch one of her shows.
Funniest person in whole entire world - well, its a toss-up between that Pogo Possum person in cartoons of 50's and Eddie Izzard (who is sometimes, also, not all that funny, I admit, but always innerestin'
My vote is Robin Williams, hands down he is great.
saw him in person, it was a scream
Ok, Eddie Murphy and Jim Carrey are tied for first place. Funny. I don't think either of them would be flattered. :
we our self the the most funniest ,have you every seen yourself making faces in front of the mirror or giggling after thinking of something funny ,or crying when you feel sad .all the emotions lie in us we just need to pull them out like a rabbits ear.
I like Jim Carrey . But I saw Lily Tomlin do a one woman stage show In Los Angeles that had me belly laughing the entire time.
Brian Regan is absolutely hysterical - particularly his older stuff. he manages to be truly funny without crude or vulgar jokes. he's all about the absurdity of life. truly genius.
All the people I think were the funniest are unfortunately no longer alive. George Carlin, Sam Kinison (sp?), and Mitch Hedberg. I love crude humor but it's not quite as taboo as it once was.
It's a wild irish political activist with a bad temper and a hairy head shaped like a cannon ball. I think she calls herself'orange jJJJJJJJUUUUUUNNNNNNKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jack Black cracks me up! I just watched the gag reel on Day One, and he was improvising about watching two women rub their lady beards together. Just watching him is hilarious, even when he's not saying a thing.
Whoever this guy is...he's right up there...with current funny people...! (but then I have a whacky sense of humor!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjGd1C6E4ys
right on!
i thought Mitch Hedberg was so funny too...was sad we lost him
so true, so true. the same can be said for George Carlin. One of the funniest men to ever live.
I'm going to stick with the living in answering this question...
Stephen Colbert is certainly up there I think. He never seems to turn it off, which is really appealing. Norm MacDonald. Louis C.K. I also have a soft spot for Lisa Lampanelli, but I think its just because she's a crude Jew.
Bill Cosby. He can make the youngest to the oldest laugh. His combination of facial expressions, story telling, and the way he says certain words is a true gift. One of a kind.
I think Jim Beluchi is hysterical, his antics on "According to Jim" get the whole cast going and I swear I never liked slapstick, but when he starts his accident/clumbsey routines there's always and unexpected twist, like the time the turkey shot him in the arse with his own crossbow while he was peeing in the woods and his brother-in-law told his wife, some Thanksgiving! hehehe!
Yeah, and I got a huge big laugh from the Blues Brothers and all their hilarious silliness. Loved it.
Another one, I just thought of, and this goes back some years--BENNY HILL. Did you ever catch that? The man was choking-funny, just standing there. I loved the Keystone Kops routine that opened that show, too!
This is really a great forum idea, no one fighting or taking cheap shots....keep it going people???
I think my mom! She can crack me up like anything! And yeah, some of my friends. I can't really choose!
Robin Williams, Bill Cosby, Lily Tomlin, Lucille Ball - masters at their craft and their comedy holds up across venues.
Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Lucille Ball...all great picks! I love Steve Martin, too. He's another one that's hilarious just standing there. His early stand-up routines were just so OFF THE WALL!!! He wore that hat with the arrow through the head, so funny!
I still think no one really matches the hilarity of the old Monty Python series. Immanuel Kant was a real pissant . . . gets me every time.
I love to laugh and the 1 man who can make me laugh daily is Mike Rowe...very genuine and natural
Louis De Funes (1914-1983). Widely known French Actor. Well known to most Europeans. He was adored in my old country."Fantomas" and numerous others movies. You just look at him and laugh, he does not have to say anything. He was hilariously funny. Unfortunately, not for English speaking public in Canada. Nothing French is popular.
Yes, very funny- also, I love Jacques Tati's 'Monsieur Hulot'
films.
1. Ricky Gervais (Brittish the Office)
2. Eddie Murphy (not his movies...)
3. Chris Rock (great stand up comedian)
I think Eddie Izzard.. but I certainly loved Bob Newhart's work, too.
In answer to your question... I think I am pretty funny, but then, no one else seems to get my humor! I often laugh out loud at some thought that I have come up with but when I explain, I am greeted with a vague look in the eye! Oh well... lol.. another person? well... I love dry humour .. it has to be Joe Brand x
Steve Martin is always awesome, and I LOVE Craig Ferguson and John Stewart and let's not forget the God of physical comedy:
Charlie Chaplin
Well, for me, the funniest person in the world is the one who makes me laugh when I am experiencing low ebb in my life.
I think I would have to say that the funniest person (male) in the world to me would be "Jerry Lewis" in the movies he did with Dean Martin. I don't think that there was one of them that didn't have me laughing so much that I was in tears at the end of it.He was just a born comedian. Hard to beat as far as I am concerned.
That is the male.
Now the funniest female I would say would have to be my all time favourite "Lucielle Ball" She would also have me, in every one of her movies, to the point where I was almost wetting myself.
I just loved her and she would be a hard female to beat, in my books. Beautybabe.
