I Once returned from Australia with some Kangaroo

           meat in my bag.

I arrived home and my Father asked me.

What did you bring me home from Australia ?

I said some Kangaroo meat, it is a delight to eat.

I cooked it for him and i said

Dad' how do you like your Kankaroo cooked

           Well done he said !

Next day, I asked him. What did you think

           of the Kangaroo meat Dad?

           Why Jasus! it was gorgeous.

I was Hopping around the place

           after i ate it.

I mean that the funniest person is probably a woman of Hebrew descent and unknown. They are very funny. Remember Gilda Radner?

Brian Regan is absolutely hysterical - particularly his older stuff.  he manages to be truly funny without crude or vulgar jokes.  he's all about the absurdity of life. truly genius.

All the people I think were the funniest are unfortunately no longer alive. George Carlin, Sam Kinison (sp?), and Mitch Hedberg. I love crude humor but it's not quite as taboo as it once was.

I'm going to stick with the living in answering this question...

Stephen Colbert is certainly up there I think.  He never seems to turn it off, which is really appealing.  Norm MacDonald.  Louis C.K.  I also have a soft spot for Lisa Lampanelli, but I think its just because she's a crude Jew.

I think Jim Beluchi is hysterical,  his antics on "According to Jim" get the whole cast going and I swear I never liked slapstick, but when he starts his accident/clumbsey routines there's always and unexpected twist, like the time the turkey shot him in the arse with his own crossbow while he was peeing in the woods and his brother-in-law told his wife, some Thanksgiving!  hehehe!

Yeah, and I got a huge big laugh from the Blues Brothers and all their hilarious silliness.  Loved it.

Another one, I just thought of, and this goes back some years--BENNY HILL.  Did you ever catch that?  The man was choking-funny, just standing there.  I loved the Keystone Kops routine that opened that show, too! lol

Louis De Funes (1914-1983). Widely known French Actor. Well known to most Europeans. He was adored in my old country."Fantomas" and numerous others movies. You just look at him and laugh, he does not have to say anything. He was hilariously funny. Unfortunately, not for English speaking public in Canada. Nothing French is popular.

I love dry humour .. it has to be Joe Brand x

I think I would have to say that the funniest person (male)      in the world to me would be "Jerry Lewis" in the movies he did with Dean Martin. I don't think that there was one of them that didn't have me laughing so much that I was in tears at the end of it.He was just a born comedian. Hard to beat as far as I am concerned.

    That is the male.
Now the funniest female I would say would have to be my all time favourite "Lucielle Ball" She would also have me, in every one of her movies, to the point where I was almost wetting myself.
I just loved her and she would be a hard female to beat, in my books. Beautybabe.
