Hello HubMobsters, following a Hubbalicious month we are going to enter July with a sprint and we are going to join the sporty spirit that is all around us with the finals of the football world cup. This time though, we are going to widen our scope to sports in general. This week's HubMob topic is going to be National and International sports events. We are going to be writing about all those sport events that make it to the national and international news, anything from athletics, cycling, golf tournaments, motor racing events, Olympics, tennis, and yes... football.
Some ideas for a HubMob Hub on National and International Sports events are:
The British Grand Prix,
The Open Golf championship
The tour de France
The Portugese Grand Prix
The Youth Olympic Games in Singapore.
The 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi
The Ryder Cup
The Formula 1 Japanese Grand Prix
The Dakar rally
To join the HubMob please follow the steps below:
1. START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK. Choose the Answer the Request green button. Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.
2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub
3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/57939/hubm … ew&rss
For more information on how to add the RSS feed to your hub you can click here
4. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
5. After you publish your Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.
Take advantage of the free publicity and of course, have fun writing!
the latest hub of mine named "FIFA World cup: Million Dollar Babies cry out loud!" is about ronaldo, messi, rooney and of course the recent world cup. come and read it and tell me through your comments how u like it
Wow Princessa, where do all these great ideas keep coming from?! What an interesting list of possible topics. I never heard of most of these events. And I don't even need to do any research- I just watch the info start rolling in!

HubMobsters I could use your help! I'd like to get started on the HubMob roundup hub. Can you post here, or shoot me an email as to what kind of topics you are going to be writing about?
For example I don't want to include 'grand prix racing' in the title or URL if no one is writing on racing. I can of course change the title, or content, but not the URL. It helps if I start the hub right away and keep up with the daily submissions to the RSS even if I don't get the body done, or publish right away.
Hi RM, I'll try to make one on the Tour de France, as I enjoy cycling and I am living in France it makes sense for me to explore that area.
I have already written two hubs on Commonwealth games 2010, one focussing on the Green initiatives undertaken and the other on the Queen's Baton Relay.
I am planning to write a couple more on the Commonwealth games (mascot and logo) and FIFA World Cup 2010 (vuvuzela). If I cannot make it by Monday, maybe will send you an email about late entries.
No problem. You can let me know any given HubMob about late submissions. Most of the time I will continue to monitor the previous HubMob RSS for at least a day or 2.
Thanks for the heads up on your topics. I've delayed writing the primary content of the roundup, until I have an idea of the kinds of topics submitted.
Good morning! Just to let you know that the FIFA HubMob Hubs alone are gathering more than 800 views a day!!!!
Way to go HubMobsters
No HubMobsters this week? everybody going away for the summer holidays?
They're working Princessa. I have faith! i think this topic will bring a slightly different group of Mobsters, just as FIFA did.
Fourth of July weekend in our parts...traffic on the Internet might tank; in real life, not so much!

Here is my Hub Mob - FICA World Cup Finals
http://hubpages.com/hub/FIFA-World-Cup-2010-Finals
Hey Princessa great idea for a HubMob! However, I'm a little pressed for time this week with it being a holiday weekend. Know I will not make the Monday deadline.
Just email me a reminder on any late entries and I'll get them in the roundup.
I have a very silly question but cannot help it. As you have mentioned about late entries, actually I have a few unpublished hubmob hubs on food, which I had started working on but could not make it before time due to my day job. So can I still publish after completing them and have the hubmob features on it (rss, photo, link) or do I have to do away with the features whenever I am ready to post?
Thanks.
Hi, you can still post your HubMob hub including all its features: graphic and RSS feed.
If you want your hub to be included in the round-up hub, just make sure that you email rmcrayne with your link so she can include it in the relevant hub.
Hello all
I've just published my sporting hub. Netball is an extremely popular and high participation sport in New Zealand, particularly amongst women. The international netball encounters, particularly between New Zealand and Australia, are fought with fervor.
Here's the link http://hubpages.com/hub/Netball-New-Zealand
cricket is also ongoing and i have written several articles regarding it.
I have just published a hub on the upcoming Commonwealth Games 2010, Delhi, the endeavours of going green:

Wimbledon tennis 2010 is almost over for another year
I posted my first HubMob last night. It was late and I forgot I was supposed to come back here to post.
It was on The Tour de France. There is just so much to watch here at our house between the FIFA matches and the Tour starting - I'm psyched!
I have just published another hub on Commonwealth Games 2010, but this time the focus is on the Queen's Baton Relay. Here's the link:

I'm late with this, but I remembered a good one:

The Iroquois Nation team may not be able to compete in UK, because USA may not let them back into the country afterward. Passports - I ask you: Can't it all wait until after the games July 15 - 24th?

Hey there HubMobsters! Before I even get started on this post, I feel like I should let everyone who is reading this know exactly how awesome it was to see all of us Hubbers come together for last week's HubMob, which was the first one that we have ever had here on HubPages. We had 30+ Hubbers...

First of all, I have officially made it to the Las Vegas airport to head back to good ol' HubPages HQ after a crazy week in Las Vegas. I haven't really gotten any sleep today, so I apologize for any bad grammar, misspellings and what not. That's my disclaimer for the day. So, after last week's...

Well, last week, I published one hub about St George's day. Nasty! Only 25 odd views! Man. I was devastated. This week, I started with St Andrew's day. Please give me suggestions as to what I need to add to make the hub better. Your comments and suggestions would be valuable, par calculation....
