I've been trying for two days to find a hub or blog topic in my head, but I can't.  Frugal is so overdone right now, and everyone says the same stuff.  I hate to be a copycat.  I mean, how many times can you read online all the uses for baking soda?  Trying to come up with something unique on frugality is just hard.

As for gardening, it's too hot here to do much of anything, so nothing much to write about, so I'm not motivated at all.

I guess we all go through slumps, right?  Mine is getting too long.  I need to update at least every other day, and I'm just not doing it.

Lists seem to be popular right now. Something like: Top Ten Reasons To Vote A Jackalope Into Office. I know I would read that!

      I'm very good at that!

Maddie, is that your secret?   lol  I actually have a friend who cleans with vodka...and drinks some.  She saw online that someone like Meryl Streep uses it.  Well, I guess she could afford to!

I would write that, but my blog is pretty PG, so I think not. wink

How about all the uses of vodka instead?  You can have a swig or two for inspiration...

That's a good one. The Mythbusters have covered this one pretty thoroughly!

    How about:

"Ten electronic gadgets that you won't need to replace in 18 months time."

Or something along those lines...... smile

Boxers or Briefs  (this could be a marketing hub or just plain hilarious... lol, don't think my mind didn't think to run with it)

Penguins or Puffins, who'd win in a cage match?

Why exactly aren't the aliens landing yet and telling us what's up?

    Are there aliens?

Who the hell was the first person to look at a molding bucket of solidified, reeking milk and say, "Mmmm, cheese, let's eat it?"  (Same could be said for beer or wine or... lots of stuff)

Umm... that's the best I can come up with without having had anything to drink yet tonight.  Hope it helps.

How about a hub about commercial time? Like a study where you start at a certain hour, and go up every single channel you have to see how often you land on a commercial ? big_smile

Have you ever done any keyword research?

Give me a broad topic and I'll see if I can nail down a good topic for you to write a Hub on.

Also, Mark's suggestion was pretty solid and probably a topic that people would like to know about:

Here are a few ideas, just remember.. its never a good idea to ask me things like this when I've had little to no sleep.

    1. If you have kids and you dump them on an deserted island.. who'd turn ferral and who'd turn into the someone like the 'professor' from Gilligans Island and create everything from coconut shells.
    2. If mating from species to species is done by mounting..ever wondered how kissing came about.
    3. 101 ways to relieve boredom using 3 paperclips, a piece of string and moldy cheese.
    4. Seven sure fire ways to stop your significant other from having sex with you and anyone else.
    5. Random ways to tell your spouse/lover they have bad breath.

Okay... thats all I've got.. ok.. I have more.. but I'm starting to freak me out.

What about a hub on "Addiction"? It doesn't have to be just negative addictions. Or how about Phobias?? I bring this up because one of my twin daughters (16 mos) has this weird fear of hats. Or more specifically, hats on people's heads. Is that weird or what? I can be standing there, right in front of her, and the second I put anything on my head, she's bawling. But it's really hard not to laugh. Anyway, I found myself wondering if there's some kind of phobia of "people wearing things on their heads"

What about people and their weird collections? I mean, what inspires someone to collect stickers? My wife and I recently started collecting decks of cards from every city we visit. I have no idea why. Anyway, there's my suggestions.

Sometimes I look at the google trends list of top keywords and try to get inspired. Works sometimes;o)
