Puzzle Plank Galaxy

Bugboom's Market

You are going to have to do what you have done before.

Here is a quick review:  Ground pound the center area, and then use the other ground pound switches.  Be sure to get the coins, bonuses, and the Star Launcher.

This is really about grabbing as many coins as possible.  You need to have at least 70.  There are about 5 at the platform.

Take the green pipe, and then the ? coin.  You should be able to snatch up about 60 or so here.  The rest can be obtained in the bushes on this island, taking out the bad guy, etc.  Go to the Luma with the 70 coins.

From here, you need to take the Star Launcher and use the cloud mushroom to get to the other cloud mushroom.  Then you will need to get over to the big island.

From here, it is about facing a big nasty bug.  This is actually from the first game, I think.  You need to jump on his back while he is on the ground and ground pound him.  That is easy.  From there, he flies a little, so you need to use the cloud mushroom to get above him and ground pound him.  The third time, you can fly again, but he sort of tilts when he flies, so it is harder to hit him.

So after the third ground pound, the Star will appear.

Hightails Falls Galaxy

Silver Stars in Hightail Falls

You are going to have to do everything before, but your focus needs to be getting as many coins as you can.  Smash the bad guy at the beginning, for example.  Get the bad guy that you see before going up the steep incline, and all the coins there too.

When you pass the Star Launcher for the next steep incline, you will need to get all the coins, but it look like they stay there when you get the ? coin, so go up as many times as you can until you get them all.

You will then get to the point where you must go on those flat rock things, and you can get as many coins as you can get there.  Then all that remains is that one area with the dangerous turns, where coins can be obtained there.

You will then meet the hungry Luma, who demands 30 coins.  If you still don’t have enough, you can go further in the game, past the spindles, and you might be able to make it back.

The Luma becomes a Star Launcher, and the next part is so easy I don’t believe how easy it is.  All you need to do now is find the 5 silver stars that will become one big Star.  They are on toads that don’t seem to attack you, but avoid you.  Yoshi can eat them.  Just remember to touch the silver star when you have eaten the toad.  After 5 stars, the real star will appear.   Just go and get it.

Boulder Bowl Galaxy

C'mere Goomba

Okay, to find this Star, you will need to get to the area with the Chomps.

Here is a review of how to get there in case you need it:  Get the Rock Mushroom and smash the three bad guys.  Smash the big bridge to knock it over, and then get to the other area and smash all the bad guys there.  Go ahead and take the Star Launcher, get to the area with the rolling things.

You will need to find a robot that is gold in color.  He will ask you about getting a Goomba.

The only way to find one is to use the Rock Mushroom.  Use it on the pillars there, and you will find that you can free a Goomba.  You can then lure the Goomba to the Robot, which can be pretty tricky.  If you are a rock, it is easy to accidentally roll and kill him. Also, there are those rolling deadly things that can kill the Goombas as well.  There are only two Goombas that you can get in this area, unfortunately.  So if you accidentally kill them both, you are going to have to start the level over again.

True to his word, the robot will give you the Star when you bring it to his boundaries.

Wild Glide Galaxy

Jungle Fluzzard Race

This is another one of those levels that has to be faced when you receive the letter in the mail for it.

Okay, this next level is all about the racing action, with four competitors.  This can be accomplished with a little bit of nose dives.  Seriously, that is what it takes, as the birds fly pretty fast.  I found that nose diving really makes you pick up speed.  You won't be able to get much speed on the first areas, but when you get to the end, the more you can dive down, the better.

At the end of the course, there is a waterfall with several holes in the cliff face.  And there is a cave there to the final stretch.

When you place first, you are the winner.  You'll have to do the race again and lose a life if you don't.  So if you think that you are going to lose, go back to Starship Mario and do the level again.

Honeybloom Galaxy

The Secret Wall Jump

This Star is very simple to get.  At the first trapeze after the first wall jump, you just need to jump very high to the right.  You might have to spin to do it, but then keep jumping until you get to a small corridor, and then keep jumping higher until you will reach a place with the star.  Like I said: very, very easy.

Cosmic Cove Galaxy

Catch that Star Bunny

You need to find the Luma who needs 15 coins.  It is located by the tower that can freeze everything.  There are coins throughout the whole underwater scene.  For example, if you grab a turtle shell, you can find a ? coin that will give you some coins.

Use the coins on the Luma, and you will have a Star Launcher.

From here, you find a checkpoint.  You will see a Star Bunny who will challenge you to a game of chase.  He will walk away and then stop.  Note where he is, and find “!” switch, which will turn the watery surface into ice.  Ground pound this, and then use a spin jump to start skating to where the rabbit is.  Those holes make it difficult, though.

Eventually, you will catch up to him, especailly with a few spins that increase your speeds.  Once you catch him, he will give up the star.  Be careful not to fall in the holes.
