Today I had an email to let me know that my children's story book Bobby's Lost Voice has been published!!!
Since joining HubPages my life has changed so much;for years I have written but only for the children at home.
I never ever thought that I would actually be a published author one day.
My question today is:-
What is your dream ???
My advice is:- Never give up on it; hang on to that dream beacuse it will be yours one day !!
Congrats Eddy! I am so happy for you! You Need to celebrate !
Great advice there
My motto, as far as publishing, has long been: "The sadness of stories untold."
Stories are written to be shared. As long as people are well-informed about how they get published, then that fulfills my dream.
If you are happy with your publishing solution, then I must congratulate you and wish you luck!
Good for you, the forum canceled my hub on a dream lists
Well, I am sorry to hear. I do not represent the forum.
Oh I am also sorry ;it is only in this past week that I have been posting on the forum.
Try again I think.
I had an 85% success rate in the past 28 years by my dream list and wanted to share with everyone else and their idea's too.
No not know how else, to present it.
Congratulations!! Hopefully someday I'll have some real success like yours. I've recently written a screenplay and I'm just polishing it up and getting it ready to send off. Wish me luck
So pleased for you and I send a huge load of good luck your way.
Let me know how you get on.
Respectfully and with best wishes to you, Dai and your families,
Eddy, Congratulations! You have to be walking on sunshine and floating with fluffy clouds after that email! You have found the clouds with the silver linings!
Kind regards, Stessily
Thanks for sharing your wonderful dream and accomplishment with us. I got goosebumps reading this. It probably sounds sappy but my dreams have all come true. I am cancer-free and I have the beautiful life I always dreamed of. Thanks for inspiring us today with your great news. YIPPEE, YAHOO!
Hi Eiddwin, congratulations...
I am still hanging on here and I am not giving up, You are right, I'll get it someday and I am positive on that.. cheers
Congratulations Eiddwen! The written story is meant to be shared, and dreams that come true are meant to inspire... What wonderful news for you, and what a wonderful inspiration you are to the rest of us who are still dreaming!
As for my dream.....I've had several in my life, some have come true, some are still out there, and right now I am lost in the in between, as you know this last year has been both rough and life altering, so right now I am regrouping and awaiting the inspiration for my next dream.
In the mean time, I am so very excited and happy for your success, and wishing all the very best!
Congratulations, Eddy! You give me hope. :0) Many blessings to you!
Congratulations on pursuing your dream and making it happen. Dreams become reality only when we work to achieve them:)
That is so wonderful to hear. I am so happy for the children in the present and future who will read your wonderful book. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Your Hub Friend,

Take care and here's to a rosy future ahead..
Thanks a lot. I will let you know what happens. I am determined to make it. One thing is that I am happy because I have achieved something here at hubpages. I have published materials people are eager to read, that is an achievement.
Wow! So happy for you! I want to be a freelance writer and be able to support myself at it. Would love to publish a book, but I'm not sure what the topic would be yet. Great job, Eddy!
Thank you so much for the good wishes; I hope you do find a topic to be published one day.But it doesn't have to be through being published it could be something which we have wanted to do for so long and we finally done !!!Take care Victoria.
Well done Eddy, I am so pleased for you. It is always great to hear when good news happens for someone nice.
Congratulations! You are an inspiration to the rest of us Hubbers who are reaching for the stars!
Congrats Eddy I'm truly happy for you. At least your dreams are coming true. I suppose right now my dream is to finally be able to write something so truly wonderful and great that everyone will love it and it will make me famous but that's more likely what we call a pipe dream. Actually I enjoy hubbing and writing articles in other places and blogging and for right now that's enough. Oh, yes and my very biggest dream is hopefully in the next 2 or 3 years time to have enough finances to return to the states. With the Lord's help we'll all achieve what we most want and dream about. God bless and let's keep on hubbing. Hope your book sells a million copies at least.
This is fantastic thank you for sharing this i will not give up on my dream!
This is fantastic thank you for sharing this i will not give up on my dream!
Only one thing to say Eddy "Good things come to good people ".........Big hug for the "writer "everyone".
Congratulations on being published and more importantly for following and realizing your dreams. I think we all have dreams but some are too afraid to follow them for fear of failure. So it's inspiring to hear of your story because it gives the rest of us hope and and perhaps the confidence we need to follow our own dreams. Thank you for sharing in your success.
Congratulations !!! Thank you for giving Hubbers a bit of inspiration to continue reaching for their dreams and to never give up. Enjoy !!!
My highest and most heartfelt congratulations, Eddy! Kudos to you, and may you sell millions of copies:)
I would love to be able to thank each and everyone of you individually but I just want you all to know that your comments have all been read ;re-read and appreciated.
Joining HubPages is one of the best desicions I have ever made and my message again to everyone is never give up on that dream because if you believe you can achieve then you are half way there!!
Whatever your dream reach for it and don't let go.
Life is too precious to waste with 'What ifs!'
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

I finally received my first payout from Hubpages since joining 18 months ago. It took a while. If Google haven't changed their algo I would have made payout about a month or two sooner. Now I am almost there for my first Hub Ad Program payout since the change by Hubpages.

So I've worked on my novel for the past 3 years, finally buckled down and finished it this year. Just recently published it on Amazon Kindle, and I'm so very excited about it. The thing is, I don't know how to promote myself in the best way. And I don't have a ton of $$$ to spend on website design...

I'm a Squidoo transfer, but I only had maybe 40% of my current portfolio built up w/Squidoo, and completely changed direction (and more than 90% of my views came since joining Hubpages). Just wanted to give a quick hooray! Next stop, 1 million.
