  Sadly, what you say is not true. HR 347 was enacted to update a measure that has been on the books since it was signed by President Richard Nixon in 1971, making it a federal crime to trespass on grounds secured by the Secret Service. No new penalties were added.

  By searching in Google, I see numerous comments about HR347. Each comment comes from a source with a particular axe to grind. It might be politically biased to the right or the left. It might be a protest movement or a religious bias. But in each case, you will need to read through the text of comment carefully and fully understand the statements and the emphasis of the person writing.
  
  The law was reached by your House of Representatives surely, not by your President. It's supposed to be a democratic process. So I don't see it as reasonable to blame the outcome on the President, when it is role of the Office of President merely to "sign it into law." This is similar to the role of our Sovereign in the United Kingdom. The King or the Queen does not make the laws. They are made by representatives of the People, "in Parliament." The Sovereign, or the Governor General in the case of The Commonwealth of Australia, signs into law an Act of Parliament. No one else can perform this function.
  
  The sound and safe functioning of this democratic process does require each member of the People to think and act responsibly, not just the President.

  Did you read the links? I have noticed you rarely answer a direct question. I watched the video, AND I read the links. I still conclude:
  
  - HR 347 does not prohibit free speech
  - It was enacted by Congress with very little debate and by an overwhelming margin and signed into law by President Obama. No additional penalties were added to the already existing law that had been on the books since 1971.
  - It was not passed in secret. It was enacted through the normal process, from beginning to end.

First of all the original post is an eRumor that has been around for a long time. It all reads like far-right-wing propaganda to me, with lies and distorted statements. There are so many misconceptions that the far-right continues to perpetuate about Obama.

Two points:
1. Obama is a Christian:

Obama cut pork from federal prison menus saying they don't like eating pork in prison much. Anyway, because there was a great uproar by inmates, Obama put pork back on the menus.

I wonder if he tried that move so that muslims in prison wouldn't be offended. What a joke. But, I suppose there many be a lot of muslims in prison.

  I read it and you cannot draw the hyperbolic conclusions the JW reported. It is very telling that JW is the ONLY, as they say, organization, outside of the politically driven Benghazi investigation, digging into this. That means even the Right-wing press and talking-heads see no point in pursuing a smoke screen by JW. There are no moderates either, why?   Two weeks before 9/11 a friend of mine called me and said we needed to pray for the City of New York because there was going to be a bomb dropped on the city. We prayed everyday. After the attack I wept for weeks after for those who survived. I still cry after all this time because people are still hurting and morning great lose.
  
  I was not active demanding info from the government than. It was a difficult time for me having known beforehand about what was going to happen and then it happened.

  There is quite a difference between "Bin Laden is dangerous" and having names, dates, times and plans for 911 (full knowledge). The smallest of which is that "actionable intelligence" that prevented Clinton from acting against Bin Laden himself.

  The only difference I see is that the twin towers were demolished after the warning. Clinton made Bin Laden a top threat and relayed it to dufus. What he did with it from there is on him. A question I have for you is what did "W" do with the information? At the very least "W" miscalculated the warning 3,000 people paid for with their lives. That's a big "very least".

  Go to YouTube and search for the Twin Towers imploding. I have watched many videos of those buildings imploding...that doesn't happen on its own. Those planes didn't bring those steel buildings down, they were built to withstand an airplane crashing into them.
  
  As to how I knew. My friend who called me and told me what was about to happen is a prophet and had a word of knowledge, a warning and a call to pray by the Holy Spirit. You can read about that stuff in the Bible or search for it online or listen to videos on YouTube.

Utube will tell you (and so will some posters here) that Bush personally ripped out walls (of occupied offices), planted tons and tons of explosives (that were never delivered to the building), strung miles of detonator wire (again through occupied offices) and blew up the towers. It will also tell you that the buildings fell faster than is possible AND that they fell slower than is possible. It will tell you that the debris has uncounted tons of an aluminum granules that is "only" possible with thermite reactions, but cannot produce any records of the necessary tons of raw materials entering the building. It will tell you that burning jet fuel cannot soften steel beams, even with temperatures in the thousands of degrees.
  
  UTube will tell you (with "absolute proof" in video) absolutely anything you want to hear, whether it is that Bush planted the explosives or that planes knock down buildings. You just have to be gullible enough to swallow the crap without ever checking it out.

  Bush knew something was going to happen. He had a death threat the morning of 9/11 and was set out like a sitting duck in a class room in Florida, where he sat, instead of being swept away by security. He didn't call for fighter planes because of a terrorist attack, secure the borders, nothing that would have been presidential during an attack.

  The #1 aspect of OBL's alleged demise is that it occurred on the very eve of Keyes v. Obama Citizenship in California Appellate Court. It was going to be earth-shattering for us birthers and we were living for that case to be heard. But guess what? California quietly, while college students who didn't even remember 9/11 were dancing in the streets celebrating, forwarded the case to the U.S. Supreme court where it languished another year before it was summarily dismissed.

What is wrong about having a Muslim President?

1. If the Taliban give us reason to believe Muslim is an evil religion. Then, there are more reason in history to make people think Christianity is an evil religion. I can go on with the list.
a. The Crusades
b. The inquisition
c. executing scientist for speaking againt the church
d. The Spanish Inquisition that only ended in 19th century, where people who refuse to convert to Catholicism are all executed.

  When I served at Operation Iraqi freedom we were each required to drink a gallon & a half a day of BOTTLED water. We were not allowed to drink local water as it may have been tampered with and sometimes was. Try to imagine the profit made by Evian and other water suppliers to the U.S. government when we had over 300,000 military and contractors each drinking that much! It was more about water, black berets, body armor, and Oshkosh trucks than oil. You cannot comprehend how much petroleum we went through there instead of putting it in our reserves.

When each dinner plate a soldier uses can cost the US taxpayers $50 each, and each soldier takes four plates, ... 2 for plates and 2 to use as lids somebody is getting special favors (because of large contributions). Soldiers need a knife, fork and spoon too. On and on...

  I'm guessing you were not in the military, Jonny. It can get very hot in Iraqi and soldiers who are very active can lose up to 5 gallons of water per day or more. It depends on the temperature and activity.

  During my two tours I saw the temperature reach 140def F. I had to daily check my squad members urine-flow that it was clear and watch for signs of dehydration, such as headache, chapped lips, dry eyes, lightheadedness and constipation. Our sweat evaporated almost instantly even in long-sleeves. The gallon & a-half of water we were under orders to drink daily was in addition to Gatoraid, milk, coffee, soda, juices, etc. There were no alcoholic beverages available except occasionally a Scope bottle would come from home that was really vodka & blue food-coloring.

  Whenever any one of us goes to a search engine such as Google, the Websites we latch onto are those that appeal to our prejudices. If it points to something we already believe; or the author is someone we like the look of on TV; or if it's written on the premise that "God" told us so; .... any bias you like to think of..... then that Website gets our attention, especially if it seems to justify and augment our way of thinking.
  
  Colorfulone seems to work on these lines. I wonder if she ever takes a peep at any Website that speaks to the opposite understanding. For example, if she is strongly on the side of the Republican Party, does she sit down and seriously, carefully study the points of view which Democrats are putting over? If she, (or anyone else, of course, I am only using Colorfulone as an example, without prejudice), might have a particular religious bias, then she might only look at Websites that support her beliefs.
  
  It is my understanding that many "ordinary" Americans have never ventured much beyond their home towns. Thus, they might not have experienced other cultures, other ethnic societies, and given consideration to those other ways of life. The only information they get is via mass media outlets, which can be very seriously skewed to suit the owner/editor of the outlet. Commercial considerations come into it as well. What sells, sells. You don't want to upset the people who pay your bills!
  
  Personally, I have traveled widely. This is not to say I am an expert on anything as a result of that travel. But I am able to step back from any idealism relating to one culture and weigh its merits against my own and/or other background. I used to be quite judgmental, but today very, very much less so.
  
  The United States of America is in a similar position to what Britain was in a couple of centuries ago. It feels a need to spread its culture far and wide throughout the world. It needs to do this in order to justify itself, to support its commercialism, to maintain its military prowess. And in doing so, it plays havoc with the lives of other people!
  
  If the people of the United States do not come to their senses, and realise they have responsibilities to think/speak/act in sensible and more conciliatory ways, then we people of the world will surely suffer the consequences.
  
  It sounds to me like President Obama is trying to do just that. What do you think?

  Thank you for your response. You had a lot to say and I agree with most of it. I too am alarmed at how quickly people jump on a bandwagon supporting what seems to be a posture they agree with. When taken further the facts sometimes blur the meanings of what the poster intended. Then you have a litany of excuse's and more outrageous claims and explanations to show they were right. So many wind up with some conspiracy theory that grows with the argument.
  
  Do I think Obama has been trying to explore the openness in a more worldly society? I think to a certain extent yes. But with the globalization of the business world overtaking our commitments to the working class here at home I think he has fallen short. His insistence upon this TPP is astounding to me as the affect it will have on manufacturing will stymy the US worker and middle class for years. I voted for the guy twice because the alternatives with expanded war roles by McCain and corporate sellout by Romney was too much for us to bear. If Hillary is elected I don't see much change as the people who backed Obama so heavily (Wall Street) are invested in her extensively. She throws softballs at them so as not to inflame them.

  Probably because spring and well water is NOT pure at all. I have well water and it is absolutely chock full of impurities - a water softener or other means of purifying it is necessary. It has taste from the impurities - something that distilled water does not.

Understand separation of church and state and stop trying to use the state as a platform for pushing religion. But ultimately it is down-to-earth good sense, a willingness to hear each side and give respect. If there is anything that is not clear, or causes continual disagreement, then..... perhaps each side has to re-examine its ideas, its presumptions, its assumptions and its insinuations.
  
  I am not for one moment against the faith and love that you show your family - especially in the grieving you have in the loss of your son. The individual's place in society and the need for a gregarious family/home life can be and does get supported through a cultural belief system. I have nothing against this at all.
  
  However, when a nation gets so incestuous with its sense of self-righteousness that it cannot even look at itself clearly in the mirror, then we must expect the entire world to be enveloped in sickness.

Undeniable facts were revealed today during the Benghazi hearing with the former Secretary of State.

Hillary Clinton EMAILED the Libyan president and her family that the Benghazi attack was a "well-planned terrorist attack." Really?

At the same time, Clinton and Obama told the country that the Benghazi attack happened because of "the VIDEO!" Oops!

When Rep. Jim Jordan read Hillary's own emails to her, she simply ignored the proof he had presented in the hearing.

But it is, it is very difficult, if not impossible, to do that in the immediate aftermath of a conflict situation. The temporary mission in Benghazi was set up to try to find out what was going on in the area, to work with the CIA where appropriate, and to make a decision as to whether there would be a permanent facility. So we could not have met the goals under the Overseas Security Policy Board. Nor could we have issued a waiver because we had to set up operations in order to make the assessments as to whether or not we would have a permanent mission, whether that mission would remain open. We made extensive and comprehensive improvements to the physical security, which I mentioned before.

The level of stupidity in this forum is staggering. Obama is a Muslim? Seriously? Anybody with any brains knows that's not true.

And all this outrage over email servers and Benghazi when the war in Iraq has killed how many thousands of people?

And has anyone noticed unemployment and the stock market? Obama has done more for more of you than George W. Bush ever did. The country's economic situation has dramatically improved under Obama by any rational measure while disintegrating under Bush, but Obama is the evil traitor? And now most of you right-wingers would be thrilled to death with Jeb as president, a man who will simply continue his brother's disastrous policies and run the country right into the ground.

The basic problem that most right-wing racists have is that they can't stand an America where disenfranchised people have a voice. They want all the muslims, jews, blacks, latinos, and women to shut the hell up and stop complaining.

The Obama administration continues to break the immigration laws. Allowing dangerous offenders sanctuary disregarding federal laws and the safety of American citizens. Obama vetoed Kate's Law that would require sanctuary cities to follow federal laws with illegal immigrants.

A lot of planning had to go into the attack by men who were trained in warfare, weeks or months according to him.
There was no protest and riot because of a video he says.
He and his guys were fighting on the ground all night.
Only because they disobeyed orders to wait, to stand down.
They were being told to not go do their jobs, he says.

So let me get this straight... what you want is only Christian presidents, which would be tantamount to a Christian state where everything is ruled by the Bible then... sorta similar to an Islamic state? where government and laws are ruled by Islam.

Or is it only Muslims that you don't want as Presidents? would an Atheist President be allowed? or a Buddhist President? Muslims "might" be allowed in the country but they can't mingle in politics then? Is that what I understand? Sorta like everything that democracy isn't, and everything that the Constitution speaks against?

  I take time everyday to meditate and get outdoors to enjoy nature. I live in the wilderness and spend time communing with wild life and taking walks in the woods, or around a park like yard.
  
  I'm an artist with creative projects that I attend to when I can. I am a photographer and use mostly my own photos on hubs. I have a fairly new interest in finding ways to generate free electricity. Lets see I cook three meals a day, do all of the house work and care for Mom. Read, read, read...and write.

What you claim is misleading as ISIS has no authority to claim a Jihad more than Jim Jones had the right to kill all those followers at Jonestown. It is quite easy to put it to the test from the Quran if you want to.

  Thank you for that link, I did read it and several comments, and I conclude that its purpose is propaganda. Sure there are tenets as is written there but one must read between the lines knowing how they correlate with other tenets of the Quran to be able to think and see clearly.

  Well, if there is an incompetent employee, it is up to the boss to identify the deficiencies in their performance, and then decide if those deficiencies warrant dismissal. So, if Hillary was deficient or criminal (as you have previously stated), then why hasn't the committee brought specific charges? How many hours over how many sessions have they been looking for that smoking gun? Why haven't they found it? And, if they have found it, why haven't they taken action?

  Again per the British Nationality Act of 1948 anyone born to a Brit anywhere in the world is automatically a 100% British Subject with no option for dual-citizenship. The 1952 US Code requires a parent, married to a foreigner, to have lived in the United States continuously for five years after the age of 14 to confer citizenship. You can imagine there is some bad blood between them. She had made a special tip to Kenya for a unplanned visit to the place where old files were. The government needs to prove the likelihood of three steel sky scrapers collapsing on 9/11 because of fire, it is something that has never happened before to a steel building.

Scientists and chemists need to prove the improbability of what the government says happened, and prove how those three buildings did collapse.

NIST and FEMA reports are pure BS according to the scientist on the video.

A thermographer used a FLIR Infrared ThermoCam to take photos when the planes hit the buildings. The evidence shows how hot the fires were on the Twin Towers that only burned for 10 minutes up top where the planes hit.

  Thanks, Johnny. Here in America there is a military industrial complex that I believe must perpetuate itself by creating boogey men and a continuous national adversary, imaginary or not. For most of the 20th century, it was international communism, more defense contractors, weapons and international deployment with big money tied in. It took 55 years to rid ourselves of this 'thing' about Cuba. The multinationals and financial interests have a tremendous amount of power here through lobbies and congressmen that are routinely bought off. The economic dynamoes are not interested in Democracy, but are interested in profits regardless of whose ox they may gore. I could reference the "Citizens United"? case where corporations and their contributions are the equivalent of the individual citizen in a political campaign.
  
  So after 9-11, we all got mobilized for a war that seems never to end. Is it possible to have an American economy without war or the constant build up for the same? Is the goal defense or economic hegemony? Is securing the petroleum industry for a few greedy capitalists worth a man's life? Those are the kinds of questions the powers that be just as soon you do not ask, because you won't like the answer. But a Pearl Harbor type of assault, one that will get the blood boiling and have us all willingly marching in cadence to the drumbeat of war might do the trick. WWII lasted only 6 years.
  
  While I think President Obama was more of an impediment to their design than say a Romney or Bush, in the face of such power and influence his ability to shake things up was limited.
  
  I have not lost faith, but I recognize that there are nefarious forces driven by greed and power attempting to buy out the political system to increase their leverage and advantage over the vast majority of the American people. We have to be eternally vigilent in the face of such an awsome influence.
  
  They are ruthless and as with the JFK murder can arrange to have all pertinent evidence disappear. I am not sure about 9/11, but I would not put skullduggery past those that would have us all believe a standard line.

  911 never made sense to most people, the brain goes on tilt when watching something with a nonlinear explanation. A + B does not = C. There had to be other things in place. We've been entertained enough by watching building demolitions (and that is what the towers appeared to be) that were independent of the plane crashes. The crashes played well to the world. It could still be all al-Qeada with a multi-point plan that included the drama of the planes which were very dramatic. I highly doubt it especial when planes are hijacked. What the government tells us officially is not necessarily the whole truth and shouldn't be due to national security concerns.

  I have recently seen on TV a scientific explanation that is most probably more along the lines of truth and what really happened on 9/11.
  
  Quite apart from the suicidal and fanatical objectives of the people who flew those planes into the buildings, I get the impression events proceeded at a pace and intensity which the perpetrators did not intend or expect. In the very early first few hours after the event, Osama Bin Ladin was reported as being surprised and disclaiming responsibility. This has been overlooked in later reporting, as far as I can make out. It is 14 years ago now, but if my memory serves me correct, it was not until a few days later that he (they) claimed responsibility and gained publicity for their cause as a result.
  
  You can read for yourself the various theories about Aluminium/Water explosion, plus all the argument about how the buildings collapsed, etc. It looks like people only believe whatever they want to believe, then try to find a scientific version that fits their beliefs.
  
  But honestly, hanging onto the doubts and arguments only delays the point where we can let it be and move on in life. Deal with each situation of Today that requires maximum attention. We cannot do anything to change the past, but we can exert our good sense to help heal the wounds today.....and prepare for a brighter Tomorrow.

  I'm glad you do not take offence, it makes it easier to let things roll off our backs instead of carrying dead weight. We don't have to be divided even with all the propaganda we get feed for that purpose it seems. I like unity.
  
  My brother and I are polar opposites on a lot of things, and he is fast and furious to throw insults my way when we discuss those kind of topics. I don't throw mud, but I will call things as I see them. There is always the flip side of a coin that I often forget about. He is right a lot of the time and I like getting his perspective.   I am not an expert in building construction. However, I know about 15 to 20 years ago a coke cracker at the Exxon Refinery in Baton Rouge exploded. A coke cracker takes the solid part of a barrel of oil, left over after getting the gasoline, light oils and various chemicals. The coke is then put in the coker and the last bit of oil is squeezed from it. The remaining solid is shipped overseas where it is used like coal as fuel. Those cokers had been operating for years with annual maintenance. At some point, a section of stainless steel pipe was replaced with a section or ordinary chrome steel pipe--they look the same. You have to check weight and several other things. How the pipe was improperly used and by whom remains unknown to my knowledge. No one was killed or seriously injured. However, the incorrect piece of pipe caused the explosion in a manner you would not expect. Suicide air planes hit the Twin Towers. There are all kinds of pictures touched up with Photoshop circulating the Internet. In cases like these, a picture is not worth a thousand words because it is useless.
  
  Accidents happen. Most of the time they should not, and some are unavoidable. Furthermore, there are times when people do bad things to other people. The Twin Towers was one of those cases.
  
  Bad things happen. Some are worse than others. However, it is foolish to think that there is a conspiracy behind every historical even or natural occurrence. I live in South Louisiana. I would like to think there is a guy operating a wind machine that causes Hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico, like Katrina and Rita ten years ago--but I know that person and device does not exist so I will calk it up to natural causes.

  Larry, I am not certainly not looking for conspiracies around every corner, I did say later that I am not certain about the circumstances concerning the attack on the twin towers to speak with authority. Bad things do happen naturally, but some things have been and were 'helped along' some, as we know only as much as we are told. It is inevitable that there is always going to be some doubt.
  
  The JFK murder for example, did all the physics associated with bullet trajectories and such as described by the Warren REport make sense to everyone? Such reasonable doubt of the official version was and is warrented.

  No, not at a government function. It is plainly illegal regardless of the religion of the body of people. Even if 100% "X" religion it is still illegal as it is a pretty plain effort to promote one religion.
  
  There would likely be no criticism from that 100% body, but that doesn't make it legal, either. I doubt, for instance, that there would be criticism of slavery from a body of people composed only of slave owners, but it doesn't make slavery legal.

  No, your countries religion if it has one. So, in England which has a mixture of deep, long ago history.   That is a valid question and concern. With the civil war that is going on in the Middle East the Muslims are killing each other because of different Islam religious beliefs. Add all of the different religions and differing beliefs here in the US and a complex civil war is not unimaginable.
