  It's not difficult to find humour in the ambiguous nature of the English language. A good laugh does us all good, especially when it's friendly and no insult is intended.
  But I feel there is a need for deeply religious individuals to also respect those of us who have no religious leaning.
  Have you noticed those men in the background, holding hands, presumably supporting those who are praying? How much of this is genuinely religious and how much of it has become simply politics?

Uncle Tom has taken on many negative meanings, since Uncle Tom's Cabin. Its a black-on-black thing. I believe in the progressive minds today that a submissive and sensible Black American like Ben Carson, who might take the presidency from liberals will be/is unintelligently considered an Uncle Tom.

Its juvenile like calling someone an Oreo because of natural human differences and beliefs. Its like taking on the white supremacist BS.

  Obama is a mystery. He promotes horrible agendas that are not what I consider good for the nation and the people. I truly believe his is a 'charismatic psychopath'. Often what he says he contradicts by his actions. I see someone who is very good at reading a teleprompter and at lying.
  
  He is suppose to be a 'Community Organizer'. Well, this country is more divided on so many levels because of his leadership, and a corrupt Washington cartel. He is fooling a lot of the people but not all of the people. One of his greatest tools is the liberal media that is so freaking 'politically correct' that the truth is or nearly is unrecognizable, and biased.

  Just as there is extremism among Islam, so there is extremism among Christianity.

colorful, really enjoyed the YouTube of Beck explaining the Overton Window. Like I said the man of lawlessness Obama, False Prophet Francis & Satan form the unholy trinity called Antichrist. I have been a student of the Bible 36yr and am a former Republican political junkie. The Bush clan & Freemason Paul Ryan turned me Independent and I really believe I am done voting altogether. However Uncle Ben & birther Trump are drawing me back in. If The Rapture doesn't occur within a year or so then I won't know what to believe anymore.

  I like Uncle Ben because I can see that his fruit is good. He campaigns by being real. He is serious about his relationship with God, he talks the talk and walks the walk.

  Perhaps it's just that the Kim Davis's of the far right are so loud and obnoxious, but the whole party has become nearly synonymous with religious beliefs and with spreading those beliefs through public means like government and schools.

  The government should never have taken over running public schools. A very bad, bad move. We have Islamic indoctrination in text books and in classrooms happening in public schools and the dumbing down of Christianity and other religions that has been happening for many years. I have read many reports by attorneys and listened to many videos by educators. The ACLU (atheists) and The ACLJ (Christians) go head to head (that's another arena).
  
  I home schooled my kids, and they took extra curricular classes in public school.
  
  Its like JFK said, that everyone has a faith (even atheist) that they believe in and that faith forms us into how we treat others (paraphrased).
  
  Kim Davis was a Dem, but the Democratic party left her as she said, she didn't leave it. She did get a lot of press (over the top), but I didn't hear her being LOUD. Rather, I heard the the other side being LOUD and the liberal media just hammering on the story over and over again to the point of torturing its views/readers. I got tired of that story real fast.

  Chances are Colortone, you are probably wrong. Sgt Prepper had admitted that if the rapture and revelation as described in the Bible does not occur during the remaining time of Obama's term, he would be back 'into the weeds' not knowing what to believe.
  
  As I said earlier, Dr. Carson disqualifies himself and will be savaged by the GOP faithful as being too liberal the carry the party's banner. His confession of his values in his private life contradict the very tenets of GOP philosophy and that cannot stand. The word 'diversity' is anathema to the GOP right. But what black man can live in a world without it, denying his very right to exist and participate on an equal basis? He is a nice guy, that is why the GOP must use the other candidates to discredit and destroy him, and it will.

Kenyan-born, Indonesian, gay, commie, Moslem Obama has already made the statement " Be still and know that I am God." I have searched the entire Bible in an attempt to find a single verse which could preclude this son-of-a-pornstar from being The Antichrist to no avail.   It's funny when you study the life and ministry of Jesus the picture that emerges is so alien to the militant right wing conservative Christian drumbeat. I don't see any semblance of Christ in your assessment of humanity. I'm surprised you've used Christianity as your springboard. Wouldn't the KKK, aryan brotherhood or maybe Nazism be a better fit? I'm sure their writings could give you more support for your theories than the Bible. There'd be much less need to ignore one line of text in order to use another as support for your beliefs. And I'm certain there are figures who started these movements who would support your views and not consider them to be a grossly illegitimate hijacking of their ideas.

  But I do regard some of the evangelistic efforts of some sects of the Christian Church as intimidating.
  If they say to me, "You will go to Hell unless you believe what we do, and confess what we do, and don't do anything that we consider forbidden," ..... that I regard as intimidation. Bullying? Maybe, depending on the intensity of their efforts I suppose. And if I was a timid individual, they would have me in their clutches.....but I am not, so they are the only ones who can expect to reach Hell.

  I watched the video. Although I think allowing Sharia law to be applied on US soil would be alien to our beliefs in equality and at odds with our existing laws; I will say that I didn't see the video as proof that Hilary supports it nor could I find any evidence that Hillary supports such by searching the web. He did say some of her supporters supported it. I'm not a fan of Hilary, but I do believe in fair play.

I can't find anywhere which give me the full wording of this resolution but I did find this (on what appeared to be a conservative website) Resolution 16/18, Combating intolerance, negative stereotyping and stigmatization of, and discrimination, incitement to violence, and violence against persons based on religion or belief, was adopted by the UN Human Rights Council in March 2011. Among its many specific points, it highlights barriers to religiously tolerant societies and provides recommendations on how these barriers can be overcome.   I think if we could convince theocratic states to adopt these resolutions it would be a good thing. I don't see where this wording promotes sharia law here in the states or would inhibit me from speaking my mind on religious intolerance. Maybe someone who has done more research into this can enlighten us as to how, if Hilary supports this resolution, it endangers the freedoms of our citizens?

The parents of children in public schools in the state of Tennessee contacted the ACLJ because of Islamic indoctrination in the classrooms. Legislation accepted the Bill HB 1418 to end the indoctrination of school children into radical Islam.

Involved is the US Islamic group CAIR, that still has not had its tax exempt statue removed after violating federal laws, even after demands were made.

Separation of church and state is how it should be with the government running public schools.

Tennessee is a state where there have been some of the largest dumps of Muslim immigrants housed.

  Nothing I caught in the first link about a lawsuit. In any event, even you don't indicate one was won - just that it was filed, which anyone can do.
  
  The video also shows no lawsuit. It DOES show some guy saying that a (300 page?) text has 35 pages on Islam but nothing on anything else but "snippets here and there". What is the other 265 pages? Somehow I have a real hard time believing his statement of "indoctrination" after such a statement.
  
  The second video I shut off when the name "Hannity" came up; that man says whatever will gain him audience and income without regard to truth.
  
  Back to square one, then: can you produce anything showing "indoctrination" vs learning of a subject for Islam or anything else but Christianity? Clips of Christian parents lying about textbooks don't count, Hannity doesn't count and neither does partial photos supposedly taken from a school but without any identifying or supporting documentation. These are all fine propaganda (indoctrination, if you will), but not fact at all.

  Yes, I read it. Exactly like your posts, it offers no proof whatsoever, just claims. As such it is not particularly believable and certainly not enough to promote making such claims myself (or yourself).
  
  Just as others have been told, if you aren't willing (or able) to support your claims you should not be making them. IMHO. You could, as a work around, preface the claims with something like "Well, I think (but will not say why) that <our children are being indoctrinated in schools>" At least readers will understand that it is only your opinion and that you cannot or will not support the claim.

  Dr. Carson is very intelligent. He has overcame so much adversity in his life to become an outstanding person, professionally & morally. He also seems to be honest. Politics is full of seasoned sharks ready to pounce. Dr. Carson is one of the HONEST people in politics. I admire Dr. Carson but within today's cutthroat climate, he is very unlikely to win. Then again, maybe he will be a viable candidate.

However, there would be no way I would consider supporting him because, while a brilliant neurosurgeon, he is off-the-rails in his political and religious views.

  Not really. It is her turn. Remember the big meeting at her house in DC with Obama before she bowed out of the 2008 race? A deal was struck then for her to wait the eight years and in return she was made Secretary of State. She soon after that became an Obama supporter. It was the same way with "W" and McCain. The elitists have it just the way they want it. I would encourage you to stop putting your faith in any of these individuals and concentrate on the broken system that keeps them in place.   I just read about the 2/1 ruling by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals where judges decided to use Obama's own words against him where he claimed to have the power to "change the law" regarding deportation amnesty for illegal aliens. Its good to see major court rulings putting limits on Obama's immigration plans and his expansive executive powers claims only to further the agenda's of his puppeteers.

Recently the Wall Street Journal published a fabricated story about Dr. Carson. The reporter's ignorant claim was that there was no evidence of Dr. Carson's "account of being the victim of a hoax at Yale where students were led to believe the exams they had just taken were destroyed and we needed to retake the exam was false."

The reporter even said that the class did not exist.

Well here is the proof from the student newspaper with the account of the hoax that did occurred on January 14, 1970.

Will there be on apology from the Wall Street Journal because of their false accusations to try the destroy Dr. Carson's integrity? I think not.

  It doesn't sound like Dr. Carson is going to crawl in the mud with Trump. Instead he is asking everyone to pray for Trump. I love his integrity! It would be hard for me to keep my serenity and peace of mind while returning mud balls. From what I have been reading Trump is losing supporters because of his attacks on Carson. The rest of the supporters he hasn't lost them by now will likely support him to the end. Those ones have crawled into the mud with Trump. What a circus, huh!

  Dr. Carson did say something like, he likes Donald Trump and that its sad that he is saying these things. It is sad! What more is there is say? I could say that I know for a fact that Trump has lied on numerous occasions and it looks to me like he might be a pathological liar like Obama, Kerry and Clinton are. But, it really wouldn't make much difference because ultimately people will believe what they want to believe. "A person convinced against their own mind is of the same opinion still."

  I haven't ruled out Carson or Trump yet because anything is possible. I'm for anyone who can beat Hillary. She did a terrible job as Secretary of State and is under investigation, she should to be held accountable but Obama will most likely pardon her. It would give me pleasure if she could not run of a government office for the rest of her life.

Law enforcement officers are not happy with Obama’s mass felon early release program. They say that the illegal criminals are not being deported as Obama says, so why would they trust him now. On average the felons have served 9 years in prison, and that tells law enforcement what they have to deal with now in their communities.

  I do love my family. More than anything. My daughter is my main priority. But one of the most important things to me is to make sure I raise my daughter to be a thoughtful, compassionate, empathetic human being. The reason the world is such a mess is because we don't have enough of those kinds of people. So raising her to be all of those things will help make the world a better place, and in the future I want her to live in a better place than we do now.
  
  I imagine that a vast, vast majority of the people trying to get out of Syria love their families, too. If I were unfortunate enough to be born in their country instead of my own then I would hope and pray that someone was kind enough to take my family. Because I do love them so much. I can't imagine being in a place where I feared for my daughter's life every second of the day and had other countries turning their backs on us. That would be absolutely devastating.
  
  We were lucky enough to be born in countries where that's not an issue. But what if we weren't so lucky? Would you still be telling everyone else to close the doors and turn you away because their families were more important than yours?
  
  Infiltrating a country as a refugee is way more complicated than doing it through a work/student visa. Or just as a visitor. Why would a terrorist take the path of most resistance?

  I have read some of your posts where you spoke of your love for your daughter, a love that I sense very strongly. Very heart warming. My children and grandchildren are a joy to me. One more little one will be born in February. I want them to have a safe place to live.
  
  These are extremely dangerous times for our nation and for our families. Obama has threatened to veto Republican legislation that would provide screening measures for the Syrian refugees. Why would the president veto something that would protect us and our families from the jihadists that are trying to invade our country? He says we have the best vetting process for those refugees. But, the head of the FBI says there are no records of who these people are so the government has no data to vet them by. They can say they are "John Dow" and they wouldn't be able to prove that, nor can we.
  
  So, here we sit again...Obama threatens a veto (that's his wild card), that would cause a government shut-down unless this repeated manipulation strategy sways the Republican votes. It always works, but maybe they will grow-a-set for the sake of the people.
  
  We don't even know what our foreign policy is in the Middle East. We need a RISK FREE plan that doesn't create more widows and orphans over their, and they need a SAFE HOME there. That is what they want. Obama hasn't been trying to defeat his little JV TEAM (ISIS) that he said was contained.
  
  How do you contain ISIS. You go over there and bomb the hell out of their oil locations like Trump said he would do. No money, no funny!   I am sorry that you are so afraid that you would forgo your Christian values of compassion, generosity, and tolerance in favor of exclusion and bigotry. I am sorry that you are so fearful that your ability to understand facts and evaluate a threat with reason and evidence is radically compromised.
  
  First, there is already an extensive process for admittance of refugees from the Middle East that involves 6 federal agencies and takes 12-18 months. If an applicant for refuge cannot be definitively identified, and a thorough background check completed, they will not be admitted to the country. This process is already in place and is being utilized.
  
  If we give in to fear, and not allow legitimate refugees into our country, the terrorists win. You are more likely to be injured or killed by your television set falling on you than from a terrorist attack. We need to be diligent about checking on the refugees who enter this country, but to call for NO Syrian refugees to be admitted is inhumane, un-Christian, and evidence that the terrorists are winning. Are we really that cowardly? Really?

  Thank you, Panther, my sentiments exactly. Have you looked at the articles that show which states have been willing to welcome refugee as opposed to those that do not? If you do, you will see a distinct pattern arising. Opportunists like Ted Crud and company castigates the President in regards to a program of admission that have plenty of safeguards. But it is like the "Right" to cower behind their guns and be the first to succumb to the xenophobia bug.

  Right now I am helping to support the efforts of Samaritan's Purse in Northern Iraq. The Christian ministry has been there for about a year now. It will be fun to get updates and photos of the children who get the Operation Christmas Shoe Boxes that Mom and I have filled over several months. We have filled 12 boxes which was our goal for this year. And, we have made monetary contributions for clean water and sanitation for families.

In the world today with "moron" Obama as president, Ted Cruz has his eyes wide open in-light of the Syrian refugee resettlement Obama is try to push through. Because of the Paris attacks yesterday, Cruz is calling for an end to the resettlement here in the United States because of potential dangers of terrorist attacks.

I stopped after an hour or so because I could not find any proof of the factual claims of the list you reposted, (and is reposted dozens of times all over the net, with each reposter claiming the authority of the list), and the ones that were opinion were just as full of baloney as the supposedly factual ones.

  For instance;
  The "I am you" quote from an "Islamic" dinner... I checked the transcript of every Iftar dinner hosted at the White House since Pres. Obama took office... couldn't find that quote anywhere. Do you have anything more than a viral repost to validate it?
  
  The infamous "My Muslim faith" quote is real though. But the context surrounding it illustrates that its use by anti-Obama folks is pure BS. Which makes reposters Honey Dippers. (the quote was in reference to the campaign trail rumors that he was a Muslim - not a declaration by him that he was)

  You must do a great deal of research judging by many of your posts that I read. I should get over and read some of your hubs sometime. We, I do learn to connect the dots and put pieces of the puzzle together having a greater knowledge of who said what and so on. I sometimes forget that someone else may not have read or heard the full content. I'll work on that, there's always room for improvement!

  Obama defeated again by a 100 to 0 vote by the Senate that passed on the "amendment that would impose sanctions on Iran if they were ever found to not be following whatever terms are finally hammered out between Iran and the P5+1 powers."   The FBI says that they cannot screen Syrian refugees and that they are already chasing 1,000 active ISIS investigations in all 50 states.
  
  The FBI has been sitting on information about terrorist attacks on American soil and not letting us know the seriousness of the situation. On the article link there are 22 jihadist attacks or attempted attacks that I did not know about before.
  
  I think Speaker of the House Ryan needs to do more than 'pause' the resettlement of Syrian refugees. There are 1.2 billion Muslims in the world. Not all of them are radical. The radicals are between 15% to 25% according to intelligence around the world. That leaves 75% that are peaceful.

But, when we look at 25% that is 185 million to 300 million Muslims dedicated to the destruction of Western civilization. That is as big as the United States. Should we worry about the radical 15 to 25%?
