Out of 2,184 Syrian refugees admitted into the U.S. since the Syrian civil war erupted in 2011, only 53 (2.4 percent) have been Christians while 2098 (or 96 percent) have been Muslims, according to State Department statistics updated on Monday.

The remaining 33 include 1 Yazidi, 8 Jehovah Witnesses, 2 Baha’i, 6 Zoroastrians, 6 of "other religion," 7 of "no religion," and 3 atheists.

Updated figures of Syrian refugees admitted into the U.S. since the Syrian civil war began. Only 53, or 2.4 percent, of the 2,194 total are Christians. (Data: State Department Refugee Processing Center)
By comparison, Syria’s population breakdown in early 2011, before the civil war’s death toll and refugee exodus roiled the demographics, was 90 percent Muslim (including Sunnis, Shia, Alawites and Druze) and 10 percent Christian, according to the CIA World Factbook.

President Obama said Monday that calls from some quarters for the U.S. to admit only Christian refugees from Syria were “shameful,” yet the reality is that today’s refugee system discriminates, not against Syrian Muslims, but against Christians and other non-Muslim minorities.

Well, there goes any shred of respect for Obama that I may have had left hiding somewhere.  Talk about a bigot!  Un-presidential and un-American.

He did say that he would stand with Muslims, didn't he?

Our immigration service will ask what our religious affiliation is when you apply for entrance into the United States . To say other wise is a big lie. Our government knows full well who is Islamic and who is Christian. The Obama administration is selecting Islamic Muslims over Christian Muslims deliberately. The question now is why?

Of course a refugee has a religious test question when they claim they are running from their home because of religious persecution they have to state facts therefore naming the religion and who and why they are wanting refugee status.

This time Obama is right - it is absolutely in a country based on freedom, including freedom of religion, to apply a religious test to immigrants.  And twice as bad to apply it to refugees driven from their own country.  I'll go on to say that calls for "registering" Muslims is even worse.

Such trash makes us no better than ISIS, fighting to make a land obey their god and their religion.  Pathetic and pitiful.

Wilderness, it is the Christian Muslims who are suffering the greatest persecution in the Middles East. They are being crucified, beheaded, sold as sex slaves, or imprisoned and tortured.  That is why people are suggesting that only Christian Muslim refugees be allowed into the US right now. They are being murdered, they are in desperate need.  I happen to care.

We can all be 100% certain: The Mainstream Media is made up almost entirely by Left Wing Liars, who will stop at nothing to destroy anyone who disagrees with them, truth be damned. Christians are not normally lying left-wing Democrats so the MSM are silent, along with the WH.

If you think this is trash, pathetic and pitiful then you are all that you say.
        May God forgive you!

Speaker of the House Paul Ryan said "President Obama is "playing politics" with the refugee program."

Its too bad we have to put word labels on everything so that we can communicate, but that's how it is.  To say a Syrian Christian Muslim refugee doesn't say anything about where a person is actually from, just where they fled to. Sometimes I find the English language restrictive.

              Thanks for your response Colorfulone,

I only asked such a pointed question because the issue is so pertinent to what I see as my American heritage. The folks you speak of are not Christian Muslims, they are Christians of Arab/Persian/Middle East heritage. I think it is an important point to note.

I understand the fearful gut-reaction to these Syrian refugees, but the popular exclusionary reaction, while based on the reality that it could happen, is just fear-mongering. The wrongness of the Japanese internment of WWII is our historical lesson that following base emotional reactions is seldom the correct path. And I refuse to allow my base instincts to rule my common sense. I am determined to learn from history's lessons. A point which fear-mongers hope to obscure.

I am not an Obama cheerleader, but on this issue, I think he more American than any of those that voted for the anti-Syrian refugee legislation.

Christians are being murdered (as are Muslims), but they agree with the primary religion in the US and thus should be given priority.

I wish that conservatives types would spend as much time protecting the 1st amendment as they do the 2nd.

There is no religious litmus test, and people cannot be presumed guilty merely because of their choice of religious faith. They may be properly vetted for terrorist background and criminal record but no more or less than anyone coming here under such circumstances.

Christians are waking up all over the world and are humbling themselves.

Your rant is pointless. However, I will point out that the UN has absolutely no legislative or regulatory authority and any motion, resolution or act enacted by that body has no enforcement power behind it. The idea of the U.N was to give the nations of the world a forum to discuss and debate issues. While the idea is good and one, I have supported, the reality is that the UN has not been very effective and has been little if any impact on our future.

I hope someday I can be as sanguine about the future as this BBC journalist. But the future he envisions only happens if Europe wakes up and is willing to do whatever it takes to defend Western--and, yes, Christian--values. (which are not the same values in the WH)  Isn't it ironic that sometimes the most civilized countries have to put civilized behavior into a sort of "lockbox" for a time in order to defeat those who would destroy it forever? The Allies did it in World War II in order to defeat Nazi Germany and Imperial Communist Japan. Thankfully, the war was won and civilized behavior was instituted again in the territory the U.S. and our Western European allies liberated. How many civil liberties (including even the basic right to go on living) would've survived had the Germans and Japanese won that war?

Presently, civilized countries are facing a similar fanatical expansionist enemy that is hell bent on subjugating the entry world. But they use half-measures and quarter-measures to "contain" the enemy, thinking that to do more would somehow betray their own twisted humanitarian values.

Here's something for oh-so-civilized and self-righteous-compassionate Westerners to consider:  If Islamofascists win World War III, the values that the Western nations hold so dear will not be written in the history books...because it will be the totalitarian Islamofascists who will be the the writers.

Its the UN that picks the refugees from what I have read.  Have they been influenced greatly?  I think so, George Soros admitted involvement with the refugee crises in EU.  And, who the heck are the UN? The UN isn't even a country.

The leader of the FBI says they do not have any data on these undocumented refugees in Syria so they cannot vet them. They could be anyone they say they are, no one knows.  People are trying to come up with an agreeable solution to vet them somehow, someway. I don't think it should be a political issue like its become. Its a humanitarian effort.

The UN is a global body for which the task of dissiminating refugees around the world would be appropriate. The refugees are dispersed across international lines and the countries that agree to take them on do it voluntarily. International means UN.

What evidence is there that George Soros has a problem with Christians? What evidence is there that the UN influence in this process is deliberately anti-Christian?

I have heard that a large proportion of these people are elderly and women and children. We do the best we can in screening and vetting. It has become a political issue instead of a humanitarian effort because conservatives insist on politicizing it. Here in Florida, there are thousands of Syrian immigrants, who is to say that anyone of them couldn't be part of a terrorist plot. Your next door neighbor could be an eligible recruit if he or she is so inclined, you don't need to be a refugee.

You can find a million excuses not to do something if you don't really want to do it.

I posted this before. Its not the Right-wing that put a vapor lock on Obama's measure, it was his Left-wing that flew in the face of this madness.  They agree with the Right for a change.

"The House voted 289-127 in favor of a bill that would require greater scrutiny of Syrians and Iraqis applying to become refugees in the United States. In a stunning rebuke to President Obama, 47 Democrats ignored the president's veto threat and joined 242 Republicans to pass the measure by a veto-proof majority. Reporters at CNN and the New York Times reported that the Obama administration's defense of the the refugee program actually lost Democratic votes:"
            http://www.weeklystandard.com/blogs/syr … ontent=TWS

I don't vote Republican or Democrat, but I am very keen on what the hell is going on because I love America.  You can get off your Right-wing buddy stuff here as far as Trump goes.  He hasn't gotten to where he is at in life without doing things I don't agree with, but that isn't here nor there.

Would you care to discuss Obama or Carson?

Samaritan’s Purse creates safe zones in war torn areas through donations and volunteers.
It a ministry can do that, why can't the USA?

I am mistaken, Obama should know that we all have to insist that these people be properly vetted.

Even though you say that you are politically unaligned, all the positions you take are right out of the radical GOP playbook.

On the contrary, it is 'here and there'. if you can attack Obama's ethics, can we least do as much evaluation for Thurston Howell III?

We can discuss either one, Obama or Carson as I have opinions on both, why these two? What about Clinton, Sanders, Cruz, Trump, etc.

I watched "gifted Hands" about Ben Carson last night on Netflix.  I gave it a 5 Star rating.  I just like the man, and appreciate the challenges he over-came in his life to become one of the greatest brain surgeons the world has ever seen.  I admire his dedication to God as well. He is a supreme human being.  That really has nothing to do with what party he is running for as president of the United States.  I have more depth then that.

True about Carson, but neurosurgery and the Presidency have different skill sets.

There are only two credible parties right now. The one Mr. Carson is running for President under will not take him, so it has everything to do with the party.
Without the party, he cannot attain to the goal of the Presidency. Being a nice guy is not enough, you have to be politically palatable in the eyes of the party.

Trump is not a nice guy in the same sense, but look how the GOP and its followers embrace him...

Here is a conservative argument for and against Ben Carson. I had not read this before, but I would say it is accurate.  I have a lot of faith in Carson's ability to learn the ins and outs of politics very quickly because of his extremely high IQ.  And, he has said that he would have the best advisers as president. I think he would actually listen to sound advice because he is teachable, humble, and very smart.

                    Arguments for Carson

Carson is obviously brilliant and his life story is compelling. While a lack of political experience could be seen as a drawback, in today's world it could be equally advantageous. Politicians are among the most distrusted and dis-liked people in America.

Since 2010, voters have become more attracted to candidates not of the political world and this could be a benefit.

Obamacare remains unpopular and Carson is especially strong and persuasive on healthcare issues. Who better to effectively tear apart Obamacare than one of the most famous surgeons in the world? In the first presidential debate, Carson gave a very specific and detailed answer about what he would do on healthcare.

Courage. Carson also had enough guts to stand feet away from the President and blast the direction of the country while simultaneously advocating for a flat tax. (He also apparently received his first IRS visit following the speech, but that was probably just a coincidence.) Carson has also been a rationale voice on race relations, perhaps one of the more important aspects of a potential nomination.

After years of racial divisiveness under the Obama administration, could a President Carson help bridge the gap?

Perhaps most importantly, Carson is not afraid of speaking his mind or about his faith, something not seen in a Presidential candidate since George W. Bush in 2000 and 2004. The Christian voter block is key to Republican victory, yet constantly ignored. As a result, they have stayed home in greater numbers each year. This is something that Carson could tap into in both the primary and general election.

                    Arguments Against Carson:

For conservatives, a lack of political record also means he is a relatively blank slate. Without a long political track record, how can he be legitimately scrutinized? Also, without political campaign and debate experience, the question of how he would handle political situations is also a mystery. On the issues, some conservatives have pointed to his iffy stances on the 2nd Amendment and gun rights. Carson is also not especially strong on foreign policy, but that isn't an especially unique problem. (Only the US Senators seem to have a grasp of international relations, but they frequently deal with the subject.)

ADDED: remember I started a thread on the political you seem to have a giant crush on. (i'm not jealous)  It wasn't a very lively discussion because we basically agreed.

              https://www.unicefusa.org/donate/help-s … tent=syria

Samaritan's Purse continues to provide tents, food, water, blankets, clothing, kerosin heaters, etc.  But, it is winter once again and its cold.  More is needed just for the basics.
              Video with Franklin Graham:  http://video.samaritanspurse.org/frankl … ugee-camp/

My hope for 2016 is that world leaders and our own US gov. will implement a plan that can properly vetted Syrian refugees and stop terrorist jihadist from infiltrating among the refugees.    Things are bad in those war torn regions and camps.  Much help is needed...

Do you bother to read what you write? You're suggesting that somebody should watch a movie about a guy that is scripted to present the subject in the best possible light, and totally avoids anything that might be seen as negative....and then you suggest that the media is fake and distorting Carsons' story...and then on top of that, you suggest that the other person is "swallowing" that rather than swallowing the swill that presents him as St. Ben. Wow. It's always interesting to watch the total ideologue in action. You'll swallow anything as long as it follows the narative that you have bought into. I'm sure that you do. But I don't see you that way. A patriotic person would uphold the constitution of this country. The very topic of this Hub is "I agree with Ben Carson, no muslims as president."
That violates the Constitution; Article VI.
"no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States"
And of course the first Amendment.
            Amendment I
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;"

So, considering that you are more than willing to violate the constitution in order to fulfill your emotional angst, what exactly are you basing your patriotism on?

As of late, there is a constant drone of political pundits, even from CNN, asking “Why is Obama doing this?  Why is he saying that?”  Even former President Carter, the weakest president of the twentieth century, has said “Obama is inept.”  Does Obama live in his own little world?  Is he truly inept or is there much more to this man that our miserable main-stream media didn’t tell us or bothered to find out?

The media seems to be playing the “we’re confused card.”  They scratch their collective heads and wonder in amazement about what Obama says and does.  They actually look as confused as so many of us.  Is he incompetent or does he have a plan he’s not divulging?  Or, did Obama plainly announce his plan in 2008 to “fundamentally change America?”

Why has Obama taken a far back seat in the war on terror?  Why has Obama seemingly switched sides?  Why did Obama eagerly criticize Bush II about the national debt and then go about doubling it?  Why does Obama back the Muslim Brotherhood?  Why does Obama have such animosity towards Netanyahu and Israel, our greatest ally in the region?  Why is Obama insisting on importing Syrian ‘refugees’ contrary to fervent public opinion in spite of the Paris tragedy and then say “Are you telling me that the American people are afraid of widows and orphans?”  Does this man think we are stupid?  In short, why is Obama doing the opposite of what any amount of common sense would say to do?

Former Defense Secretaries Panetta and Gates have both written books and have had numerous interviews testifying to Obama’s refusal to take advice from professionals in the military and his administration as to how to deal with terrorists and criminal regimes like Iran.

Why did Obama work so hard on an Iran deal that gives that country a nuclear capability?  Why is Obama shrinking our military to pre-World War II levels?  Why is Obama releasing terrorists from Gitmo contrary to the requirement that Congress be given a 30-day advance notice and in spite of a congressional report that says about 30% of released prisoners have either returned to military activity or suspected of doing so?  Why did Obama choose to create Obamacare even without one vote of support from Republican members of Congress?  Why did Obama make ‘recess appointments’ when congress was NOT in recess?  Why does Obama ignore the plight of Christians and Jews but is constantly pleading for Muslims?  Why does Obama insist we have a broken immigration system when it is just a matter of laws not being obeyed?  Why does Obama seem to divide the nation by race and class, white against black, rich against poor?  Why does Obama routinely trash his own country on foreign soil?

This is all classic Cloward/Piven, Saul Alinsky, Karl Marx, divide and conquer, create dependency and discontent, drown the nation in debt and break the financial back of the country.  A collapsed American economy wipes out the middle class, small business and with it the West.  Create a problem and then tell the American people you’re the only one who can fix it.  Lie and keep lying until everyone believes you.

Spread the gay agenda in the culture and especially in the military; sabotage their morale and morality and you help destroy the most powerful nation in the world.  Dismantle the family, the Church, repeal the SECOND AMENDMENT and the mission is complete.  Destroy the culture and you destroy the nation.

Anyone with any sense can see the destruction of our nation is increasing in intensity.  Unless an accomplice can complete the task, Obama has only a year left to conclude the work.  He has much help from the likes of Kerry, Clinton and Valerie Jarrett, Obama’s Iranian-born senior advisor and communist mentor.

This is not mere incompetence, but a carefully planned program of eradication.  His father hated the West.  Maybe that is why Obama ordered the bust of Churchill removed from the oval office.  He has prepared his entire adult life for this end.  A plan to crush what he hates, the West, Christianity, Israel and America.

    Incompetence or treason?  You decide.

What an incredibly stupid post. You actually have to post somebody else's article to speak for you? Does that serve as your talking points? No thinking required, just copy and past somebody else's thoughts.

As for the photo's I think Wilderness summed it up pretty well. You seem to want us to become like the very people we call enemy. What you're doing is presenting a logical fallacy as your argument. It's called tu quoque. The tu quoque fallacy is committed when it is assumed that because someone else has done a thing there is nothing wrong with doing it. This fallacy is classically committed by children who, when told off, respond with “So and so did it too”, with the implied conclusion that there is nothing wrong with doing whatever it is that they have done. This is a fallacy because it could be that both children are in the wrong, and because, as we were all taught, two wrongs don’t make a right.

Apparently your parents never taught you that two wrongs don't make a right. In short, you can't justify our treatment of others because of how some of them might treat us. Your classic response of; they do it to Christians, so that means Christians can and should do it to them, has nothing to do with Christianity or the teachings of Jesus and is logically nothing but ignorance on steroids.

Communism removes the concept of personal property. (Look to the text to see support of this).
Acts 2:45 All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had

Communism stresses that all people are the same. (Look to the text to see support of this).
Galations 3;28 There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs. (Look to the text to see support of this).
                See Acts 2:45 above

Communism is a word loaded with negative connotations. And, rightly so. But, communism guided by true love of fellow man would be a utopia and would be in line with how the text shows the early Christians attempted to set up their communities. Driven by their understanding of the words of Jesus.

Just so you know, I am part of the 75% also. But we will never have change for the better as long as everyone is being so selfish in their desires. Positive change has to be inclusive.

Whatever was said, by any person back 2000 years ago, in the ancient cultures of the Mediterranean region, had no bearing on an utterly foreign culture on the other side of the world, 2000 years later...except that then there were people trying to lord it over other people and invoking a judgmental god in order to impose their points of view and their demands.  Today we experience the same attempts at mind control.  It sounds to me like you might be trying to do the same.

Are the Syrian refugees being admitted because they are Muslim or because they are refugees?

Are there no Christians or other religious affiliations in the Syrian refugees?

The answers I have for those questions do not support your accusations. And I believe my answers are correct.

According to the refugee Processing Center, Syrian Christians are also being admitted. Here is an interactive report that shows you the breakdown: RPC refugee report 8/1/2015 - 11/22/2015

The same report answers the second question.

A third question for you is; Do you think there should be a religious test involved in refugee admittance?

"Are the Syrian refugees being admitted because they are Muslim or because they are refugees?"

Obviously it's because they are refugees. It doesn't matter what religion they are.

"Are there no Christians or other religious affiliations in the Syrian refugees?"

Probably. But most of the people in that region are likely to be muslim.

"A third question for you is; Do you think there should be a religious test involved in refugee admittance?"

Jeb Bush thinks so. At least he suggested that very thing.
"The GOP candidate also tried to shed additional light on his idea of evaluating refugees based on the popularity of their religious beliefs. Bush continues to draw a distinction between Christian refugees (whom he wants to help) and Muslim refugees (whom he prefers to ignore), and as the New York Times reported, his defense for this posture didn’t do him any favors."

" Asked how he would identify Christian Syrian families to ensure that they receive a special focus, Mr. Bush did not offer a clear answer, but said the onus would be on the refuges to demonstrate their religion."

“You’re a Christian – I mean, you can prove you’re a Christian,” he said. “You can’t prove it, then, you know, you err on the side of caution.”

That's stupid Jeb. You're stupid. Benjy Sarlin added that it’s “hard to imagine a better propaganda victory for ISIS” than U.S. “demanding refugees prove their Christian faith.”

Ted Cruz wants a religious test: "Cruz told reporters that we should accept Christians from Syria, and only Christians, because “there is no meaningful risk of Christians committing acts of terror.”

"If there are Syrian Muslims who are really being persecuted, he said, they should be sent to “majority-Muslim countries.” Then he reset his eyebrows, which had been angled in a peak of concern, as if he had something pious to say. And he did: “On the other hand,” he added, “Christians who are being targeted for genocide, for persecution, Christians who are being beheaded or crucified, we should be providing safe haven to them. But President Obama refuses to do that.”

That of course is a lie. President Obama is NOT excluding Christian refugees from asylum in the US. But, right wingers aren't interested in the Truth. If Cruz says it, then it must be true. If Trump says that thousands upon thousands of Muslims were cheering and dancing in the streets of Jersey City on 9/11 despite absolutely no evidence to support that lie...they believe it. Which of course brings up Trump and we know about what he said about banning muslims from entering the country and about registering them with some kind of ID that identifies them as Muslims. Possibly set up internment ( concentration ) camps.

This is exactly what was done in the Third Reich in the 1930's except the target was Jews. Make them wear ID. Send them to concentration camps.

Apparently that's where the right wing wants to take this country.

The best thing anyone can do is sign the petition to "Protect America from ISIS Terror".

The House passed the SAFE Act,  H.R. 4038, the American Security Against Foreign Enemies Act of 2015, by an overwhelming vote of 289 to 137.  Which Obama threatened a veto.  But, Because of the strong House vote they veto-proofed the bill and stopped Obama because of his "failed foreign policy" in the Middle East.  ~  Yeah, Obama is pissed-off and bad-mouthing America and Americans. Shame on him for being un-presidential and un-American.

Specifically, the bill recognizes the foremost responsibility of our government to protect the nation, while also leaving open a channel for legitimate refugees fleeing persecution and terror to come to the United States.  The bill addresses the need created by current leadership failures, which have led to the lack of stability in Syria and Iraq—and the resulting flow of people fleeing terror.  In order to do that, President Obama must shift strategies from a failed foreign policy to American leadership, which will bring a lasting solution to the Syrian crisis and exterminate ISIS – the Islamic State – once and for all.

You can read how the SAFE Act will work:   http://aclj.org/national-security/imple … ct-of-2015

This is a compassionate bill for true Syria refugee to create "safe zones", while protecting them and America from Islamic State terrorists.

The bill will advance to the Senate which already has a "bipartisan support for halting the flow of refugees from Syria and Iraq into the United States until proper vetting can be established."

Pretty crazy!  For now, the Syrian refugees will need to be kept safe and have extensive background checks before they will be allowed into the US as Obama over-reach has been halted.   Well, he can have his little temper-tantrums and foolishly run his big mouth as much as he wants.

According the the head of the FBI and Homeland Security, there has been no way to vet these un-documented refugees.  Islamic terrorists could have infiltrated with the refugees. Remember we are at war, 9/11.

Franklin Graham posted this of Facebook about an hour ago. It’s confirmed—San Bernardino shooter Syed Rizwan Farook was a devout Muslim. Friends say he had memorized the Koran. The headlines say Farook and his wife were a couple “bent on jihad.” President Obama and his administration are trying to blame this incident on gun control when it was caused by a hate-filled heart intent on killing infidels in the name of Islam. Take away the guns and this couple would’ve still slaughtered innocent civilians. Their apartment was a bomb-making factory! It’s happened in France and it’s happening here. ISIS has warned us that more attacks like this are going to follow. Next time it could be a mall or a school, but until our politicians understand and admit the threat of radical Islam we’re going to have more of these horrible acts of violence. Farook’s wife, Tafsheen Malik, was allowed into America on a "K-1” Fiance visa and reports now confirm she had pledged allegiance to ISIS before the massacre. Mr. President, we don’t need more gun control—we need border patrol. No Muslims should be allowed into this country until there’s a process in place to fully vet them. We’ve got to turn away those who could potentially pose a threat until this war with radical Islam is over.

Please join me in continuing to pray for the family members of the victims in this tragic shooting as the funerals and memorials services will begin to take place.

Looks like the Obama administration's DOJ (Jihad of Justice)  is going after our 1st Amendment rights because of the last Islamic terrorist attack in CA.  Loretta Lynch is promising to take action against anti-Muslim rhetoric.  What!  That's insane.

It doesn't seem like the WH remembers 9/11 (or doesn't care), or about all of the mass shootings by Muslims in the US. Nope, it looks like Obama is standing by his own words when he said he would stand with Islam.

Muslims attack and kill and wound innocent people on American soil...and the DOJ threatens American citizens with protecting jihadists. While such speech may not always be nice or productive, it doesn't matter. That's the very essence of the First Amendment.

Funny, I don't hear anyone talking in defense of Christians this way from the Obama WH. Not that I would want anyone to, the 1st amendment stands... like it or not!

No One On EARTH More Responsible For Rise In Islamic Terrorism Than Our Own Terrorist-in-Chief, Barack Hussein Obama

It is a fascinating thing to watch the left as America and the world are viciously attacked by Islamic terrorism and in their war against the West, against Christendom, against Judeo-Christian Western Civilization, against freedom, against democracy and against our entire way of life.  Barack Obama, the Democrat Party, the leftist pseudo-intellectuals and the mainstream media have fabricated this narrative of “us against them,” whereby Christians and conservatives are illegitimately attacking this peaceful religion called Islam.  The reality is so different it is beyond belief; it is NOT “us against them” but rather it is “THEM against us” while we stand by and get slaughtered because it is politically incorrect for us to stand up for our values or fight for our own lives and the lives of our children.

At least – because I have no doubt this percentage has GROWN given the recent attacks we’re seeing –  27% of young French Muslims support the vicious terrorist army called the Islamic State.  And TWICE as many British Muslims are fighting for Islamic State as are fighting for the UK armed forces.  Don’t you DARE try to argue with me that “Islam” and “terrorism” aren’t mutually interwoven and linked.

Obama campaigned for president in 2007 and 2008 demonizing George Bush, conservatives and Republicans for their war on terror and over and over again blamed them – and yes, blamed America – for the entire problem of terrorism.  It wasn’t that these vicious Muslims hate us and want to kill us and destroy everything we stand for and force us to do what “Islam” really means and SUBMIT to Allah and to sharia law; it was that we built a prison facility at Guantanamo Bay that was inciting otherwise peaceful, happy wonderful people to saw off the heads of people who never hurt anyone.

Obama promised us that when he was president, he would “fundamentally transform” the world and solve all of our problems and end the war on Islamic terror by first of all denying it was either Islamic or terror and secondly denying there was a war.

(I would like to know who is on that no-fly list.)   All of the attacks on American soil are not being reported by MSM.

The 1st and 2nd Amendments are in trouble because we continue to IMPORT these radical Islamic people who do not share the American values of freedom and liberty. Instead the O'administration wants to create speech codes and more gun control.  That's sounding like Shariah law to me.

Updating with some facts about our Muslim government.

In case you have any doubt........
When you read this you will understand why Obama refuses to say the words "radical Islam." Did you know that We Now Have a Muslim Government? ... John Brennan, current head of the CIA converted to Islam while stationed in Saudi Arabia. Obama's top advisor, Valerie Jarrett,~~is a Muslim who was born in Iran where her parents still live. Hillary Clinton's top advisor, Huma Abedin,~~is a Muslim, whose mother and brother are involved in the now outlawed Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. Assistant Secretary for Policy Development for Homeland Security, Arif Aikhan,~~is a Muslim. Homeland Security Advisor, Mohammed Elibiary,~~ is a Muslim. Obama advisor and founder of the Muslim Public Affairs Council, Salam al-Marayati,~~ is a Muslim. Obama's Sharia Czar, Imam Mohamed Magid, of the Islamic Society of North America~~ is a Muslim. Advisory Council on Faith-Based Neighbor-hood Partnerships, Eboo Patel,~~is a Muslim. And last but not least, our closet Muslim himself,~~ Barack Hussein Obama. It's questionable if Obama ever officially took the oath of office when he was sworn in. He didn't repeat the oath properly to defend our nation and our Constitution. Later the Democrats claimed he was given the oath again….in private? CIA director John Brennan took his oath on a copy of the Constitution,~~not a Bible. Congressman, Keith Ellison took his oath on a copy ~~of the Qur'an. Congresswoman Michele Bachman was vilified and almost tarred and feathered by Democrats when she voiced her concern about Muslims taking over our government. Considering all these appointments, it would explain why Obama and his minions are systematically destroying our nation, supporting radical Muslim groups worldwide, opening our southern border, and turning a blind eye to the genocide being perpetrated on Christians all over Africa and the Middle East. The more damage Obama does, the more arrogant he's become! Our nation and our government has been infiltrated by people who want to destroy us. It WILL only get worse. Plus John Kerry's son in law is an Iranian muslim. Had enough?

      Dear Ms. Colorfulone,

Yes, I have had enough hate speech! I read a lot of posts containing outright lies and I considered the poster to be naive or gullible or both. That is until the poster claimed to be a critical thinker and a discerning observer of current events. It was at that point that it became obvious that the poster is neither naive nor gullible but consciously spreading false information knowing that the claims are untrue. How sad it is that some Americans think spreading falsehoods against political foes is justifiable.

"... John Brennan, current head of the CIA converted to Islam while stationed in Saudi Arabia."

There is nothing in John Brennan’s background to support this claim.  If you were really a critical thinker, you would have discovered this by yourself. As a child, he attended the Immaculate Heart of Mary Elementary School and graduated from Saint Joseph of the Palisades High School in West New York, New Jersey before enrolling at Fordham University in New York City. All are distinctly Roman Catholic institutions.

"Obama's top advisor, Valerie Jarrett,~~is a Muslim who was born in Iran where her parents still live."

      Ms. Jarrett’s is not Iranian and there is nothing in her background to support the claim that she is a Muslim. She was born in Iran more than two decades before the Iranian Revolution, moved to London with her parents at the age of five, and has lived in the U.S. since the age of seven. Her family tree is a distinguished roster of prominent African-Americans. Nor is there any evidence that she ever made the grammatically awkward comment about wanting to change America. As for her parents still living in Iran, well, her father died in 2011. {1}

"Plus John Kerry's son in law is an Iranian muslim. Had enough?"  roll

"Sorry if this offends anyone.  The truth is stranger then fiction."

<retch> But you do not tell the truth! This post is a vicious example of hate speech and it is not protected by the first amendment. Those who originate and spread this bile are contemptible.

Christmas is in the hearts and on the minds of Americans this month.  We are a people of good will toward immigrants and refugees, and especially to those who helplessly face massacre.  But, the Obama Administration refugees to allow Christian refugees fleeing death at the hands of ISIS in Syria into the United States.  To use his own words against him, "that's not who we are".

The Obama administration is telling Christians who are awaiting death that there is no room for them in the inn and that is unacceptable.  This Christmas season, please make their voice heard, because the president does not plan on doing anything to rescue them ... or destroy ISIS.

    Merry Christmas!

    ADDED:

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott accused the Obama administration of granting waivers to refugees who provided material support to terrorists, amid fears the federal government cannot ensure that ISIS is exploiting a vulnerable screening process.

Found on Perry Stone Ministries Facebook Page left December 4th:
“TERROR ALERT: Since the 1980′s groups of Muslims have been provided finances from their governments (including Morocco) to come to America, getting visas and finding jobs, to eventually participate in an American “Jihad.” They are given a phone number to call.
There are warehouses in all 50 states with weapons, and when “the word” is given, they will be given an address to go to pick up their weaponry, and as one Muslim said, “America will burn.”
When Obama opened the Mexican border numerous Muslims, some speaking Spanish, posing as Mexican immigrants came into America. Obama is demanding to allow Syrians, (98% Muslims) to enter America – with untold numbers who could be possible terror agents.
There are hundreds of sleeper cells, including cells in Knoxville, Tennessee, Lexington, Kentucky and throughout the Southeast, including in the mountains of West Virginia. Recently, two Muslims with Kentucky tags was spotted locally video taping numerous buildings, including churches.
I received a message -connected with the U.S. military, that when a radical leaders says publically, “Last days brothers-last days,” the United States won’t know what hit them! They are targeting places around the holidays.
“It is time to get security in all malls, schools and churches, and visit “Smith and Wesson” and get your conceal and carry permit.
Report suspicious activity, and yes, get a security team that WILL PROFILE individuals when needed. Israel is not afraid to profile anyone at anytime, and this is why they have stopped numerous attacks.
When a knife wielding radical comes toward anyone in Israel, to stab them, they will be shot dead by police or a “packing” Israeli. Christians, get your head out of the sand and realize terror has come to America and it is only beginning.
Benjamin Netanyahu told me, “They will use your laws to get inside the country then use your freedoms against you!”

Ever since the 9/11 terrorist attacks on America, we have heard from scores of political leaders and world experts that "the vast majority of Muslims are peaceful people." Some have suggested that as many as 99% fall into this category. Well, we don't have to guess or estimate; the Pew Research Center has released extensive research on how Muslims in the U.S. self-identify on questions of violence—and the conclusions are frightening.
There are 1.8 million Muslim adults in the United States. Pew research released that 8% of adult Muslims in the U.S. said that suicide bombings and other forms of violence in the name of Islam are “sometimes” or “often” justified. Think about it—that’s 144,000 Muslims who openly say without hesitation that violence in the name of Islam is justified! That’s not “peaceful” and that’s not a small number—it’s about the size of the entire population of Syracuse, New York!
I’m not 99%—but I’m 100% sure of this—our nation and our politicians need to realize the dangers of allowing people into this country that are not properly vetted.

I doubt that the impetus, to dare to impose on the rights of the people and to create a new federal bureaucracy during an austere period, was there to justify the implementation of these  drastic measures prior to Sept. 11, 2001.

      1. I tried to check into it and could not find any information from mainstream media that corroborates the story by blatantly conservatives blogs. I would expect you to be just as suspicious if I documented a story from Salon, Slate, MsNBC, you might suspect liberal bias.

      2. If such an event did occur then that mosque should be shut down and those operatives involved in aiding and abetting our enemies should be arrested and prosecuted for breaking the law. I don't want to give you or anyone the impression that I will overlook and be lenient in such a case.

3, There are thousands of mosques in the country, before I start making blanket assumptions about them all to the point of harassment or unwarranted surveillance and arrests, I am going to need more evidence than wrongdoing by one Mosque in Texas.

      4. The President is being wise by being prudent and not an alarmist, casting a net over everyone because of the activities of a few. That is not the American way and not the way any of us would want to be treated. The President is quite correct for not rushing to judgement in this matter in an irresponsible way.

        Good evening, Cred.

Contrary to the claim in Ms. C’s post, the mosque mentioned by qpolitical.com was never shut down. The Islamic Association of North Texas is open and serves Muslims in the local community who are honest and peaceful.

        “Asalamu Alaikum to our friends and fellow community members. While IANT usually does not comment on specific news articles, please be assured that we are NOT shut down. We maintain excellent relationships with local law enforcement, including the FBI. We have never been under the threat of closure. On the contrary, we are humbled to serve in a leadership role for advancing positive interfaith dialogue on both a local and national level."{1}

        The report in qpolitcal was just published, but it disguises the fact that it is not current news. Five high-level members of the mosque were convicted over six years ago of channeling funds to Hamas in Palestine through a local charity called the Holy Land Foundation (HLF). The foundation, not the mosque, was shut down and its assets seized. {2}

A further indication that Ms. C’s post was not filtered for accuracy: Pakistan is not even mentioned in the qpolitical report. Hamas is a terrorist group that operates in Israel.

Odd that sites would print stories that are not true, disturbing.  They must be in it for the money is my guess.  Live and learn!

Hamas is a Palestinian Islamic organization in the Palestinian territories and elsewhere  in the Middle East including Qatar, it has banned in Jordan. There is a branch in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.  It is interesting that some countries categories Hamas as a terrorist organization while other countries do not. Even though the military-wing of Hamas launches attacks on Israeli soldiers and civilians using suicide bombers and rockets.
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hamas

France is reported to have raided 2,235 places since the attack in Paris and shut down three mosques, arrested 232 people, and confiscated weapons of war.
    http://www.france24.com/en/20151202-fra … is-attacks

I am wondering if the terrorists arrested in France are Hamas.  I cannot seem to find out what organization it is.  Maybe "qpolitical" has a story that includes that information. wink

Jewish professor shuts down a female member of the Muslim Student's Association (MSA) a part of the Muslim Brotherhood network.  She was asking about funding for their Hitler Youth Week.

She did a great job of exposing the MSA as a communist group while trying to be a smartie-pants.  Islamic socialism?

When asked if she would condemn Hamas as a terrorist organization, her reply was "Are you asking me to put myself on a cross?"  ... while wearing an Islamic war scarf around her neck.

She publicly stated that she is in favor of all the Jews gathering in Israel so that they don't have to be hunted down (to be killed).

BTW, we do have MSA groups on college campuses in the United States, since about 1963 I think.

Dr. Ben Carson's Outlined Plan to Protect America; Calls for Declaration of War Against ISIS

        https://www.bencarson.com/news/news-upd … ainst-isis

To urge the Department of State to “designate the Muslim Brotherhood and other organizations that propagate or support Islamic terrorism as terrorist organizations, and fully investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and a supporter of terrorism.”

CAIR has visited the White House (Rainbow House) a number of times. Obama supports their civil liberties, and sides with the Islamic State over the FBI.  What's that say about the Obama administration?  Obama supports terrorist groups here and abroad.

In November 2014, the United Arab Emirates named CAIR as one of 82 designated terrorist organizations around the world, placing it in the company of al-Qaida and ISIS.

CAIR, according to the evidence, was born out of a need to give a “media twinkle” to the Muslim leaders’ agenda of supporting violent jihad abroad while slowly institutionalizing Islamic law in the U.S.

An internal FBI memo written by the former head of the FBI’s counter-terrorism division describes “all attendees” of the meeting – including Awad – as “Hamas members.”

Along with CAIR, prominent U.S. organizations launched by Muslim Brotherhood leaders include the Muslim Students Association, North American Islamic Trust, the Islamic Society of North America, the American Muslim Council, the Muslim American Society and the International Institute of Islamic Thought.

No other Muslim has done as much, particularly given his power as president of the United States, to further Allah’s goal of a Christian and Jew-free world. The Holy Quran, as Obama likes to call it, teaches that this false god’s will must be obeyed and that all infidels must perish from the earth. As the inscription reads on a ring the “Muslim of the Year” has worn since college, “There is no god but Allah,” his actions and non-actions have paid homage to his real and only “deity.” Indeed, Obama can issue all the Christmas messages he falsely utters to the American people and the world – pretending to be a Christian for political expediency, subterfuge and dastardly cover – but after seven years of his presidency, “We the People” are no longer fooled. You do not have to be Donald Trump to see reality at this point. And here is the concrete proof...

There are buddhist monks slaughtering people in Myanmar, all buddhists must be terrorists. The majority of crime in USA is done by blacks, all blacks must be criminal according to your logic. Most racism incidents involve whites so all whites must be racist.Thats why general statements never work, how about judging a person by his/her acts instead of their religion, race or skin color

I have no idea what Buddhist Monks are doing.  This is the first I have read anything like that.  Is this something you are educated on, because I would be interested in learning.  Is there a story that you would like to share.  Or, did you come here to call names and be disrespectful on the HubPages forums?

What buddhist monks are doing,or the crimes and racist incidents involving blacks and whites are not happening in a fantasy land but i guess you choose to ignore them since "you are a hypcrite".

That is False!  I am not acting different than my own beliefs or feelings.   Stop name calling.

Anyway, this thread is not about Buddhists, so I do not understand your judge-mentalist posts.  The thread is about Muslims...but, I don't mind getting off topic a little. I'm flexible.  Muslim terrorists do not have one skin color.  Please make your point more clear!

The Buddhist Monks might be better discussed in its own thread.  Please, feel free to start one.

I see that article is nearing a year old, but that doesn't matter.  I found an article dated Sept. of 2015 titled 25,000 Muslim rioters torch Buddhist temples, homes in Bangladesh.  Sounds like the Muslims and Buddhist are at war trying to rid the earth of each other and it sounds horrible.  I certainly will speak prayers for peace.

Certificate of Live Birth vs Birth Certificate

According to the state of Hawaii there is a difference between a Certification of Live Birth and a Birth Certificate.

    Hawaii's legal statute:

[338-17.8]  Certificates for children born out of State.
    (a)  Upon application of an adult or the legal parents of a minor child, the director of health shall issue a birth certificate for such adult or minor, provided that proof has been submitted to the director of health that the legal parents of such individual while living without the Territory or State of Hawaii had declared the Territory or State of Hawaii as their legal residence for at least one year immediately preceding the birth or adoption of such child.
    (b)  Proof of legal residency shall be submitted to the director of health in any manner that the director shall deem appropriate.  The director of health may also adopt any rules pursuant to chapter 91 that he or she may deem necessary or proper to prevent fraudulent applications for birth certificates and to require any further information or proof of events necessary for completion of a birth certificate.
    (c)  The fee for each application for registration shall be established by rule adopted pursuant to chapter 91. [L 1982, c 182, 1]

An adult can go to Hawaii's Department of Records with proof of legal residence in Hawaii, the document is issued.

A child could than have been born in Hawaii, Kenya, or in whatever place in the world.

So, there are legitimate reasons why some people would still like real answers on the birther issue.

It still remains that Obama could have been elected president of the US in violation of the Constitution.  I know its difficult to see the possibility if we drank too much Kool-aid.   While the possibility is undeniable.

“We don’t have any responsibility to protect a foreign citizen. They don’t have First Amendment rights. They have no rights under American constitutional law. Americans have rights, and it’s our job to protect Americans, not the reputation of Islam.” – Mike Huckabee

At the same time, 60% of U.S. voters now think the United States is at war with radical Islamic terrorism, and all the Republican candidates agree. Forty-nine percent (49%) agree with Carson that the United States should formally declare war on the radical Islamic State group ISIS.  Both these surveys were taken before San Bernardino, too.
    http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_ … _party_now

The latest figures include 23% who Strongly Approve of the way Obama is performing as president and 41% who Strongly Disapprove. This gives him a Presidential Approval Index rating of -18.

Curiously absent from the Republican debate was any mention of global warming which Obama and leading Democrats have said is a greater long-term threat to the United States than terrorism.

Barack Obama said he doesn’t believe in American leadership or America winning. He is wrong.

Dr. Rand Paul says these are the Top 10 things that disqualify Obama for any office.

    1. Tried to take over 1/6 of economy in Obamacare, wrecked the system and hurt patients and taxpayers

    2. Thinks an executive order is legislation and how you make law

    3. Fought an undeclared, unconstitutional war in Libya, turned it into Jihadist wonderland

    4. Fighting an undeclared, unconstitutional war in Syria, trying to put ISIS in Damascus.

    5. Signed into law the indefinite detention of American citizens

    6. His copy of the bill of rights obviously goes from 1 to 3, skipping 2nd amendment.

    7. Court ruled his NSA spying on every American was illegal.

    8. He has added more debt than anyone in history.

    9. Appointed an attorney general who thinks speech against Muslims is a bigger threat than terrorism.

    10. EPA rules by executive FIAT trying to kill an entire American industry and way of life (coal).

I'm not going to say much about it, the list speaks for itself.  If I said anything, they would be choice words...can't do that on HubPages Forums.  wink

Dr. Rand Paul says these things? He's an Eye Doctor. Obama is a Constitutional Scholar. In other words, Rand Paul knows maybe as much about the Constitution as any other person that has an interest in that subject, including you or I. Obama doesn't make claims that he knows more about eye surgery than Rand Paul. Why would anybody take Rand Paul seriously on matters of the Constitution? Obama taught the subject at a major university. For example:
2."Thinks an executive order is legislation and how you make law."
Rand Paul is going to tell us what Obama "thinks" on how legislation is done v executive powers? That's ridiculous. Obama was a US Senator just like Rand Paul, except that he was a Senator with demonstrated Constitutional knowledge. Rand Paul can't make the same claim.

Or this: "His copy of the bill of rights obviously goes from 1 to 3, skipping 2nd amendment." -- Very Snarky but totally bullshit. I suppose if Snark is what you want, Rand Paul is as good as anybody else.

Or this: "He has added more debt than anyone in history." -- That's an argument used against every president, including Reagan and Bush.

Or this: "Appointed an attorney general who thinks speech against Muslims is a bigger threat than terrorism."  --- The SOP for every GOP mouth is to tell others what somebody else thinks. Unless Rand Paul can add "mind reader" to his lofty achievements, it's just hot air that serves as Red Meat to those that avoid actually thinking and buy this goulash. It's ridiculous to think that anti-muslim rhetoric doesn't contribute to the very problem we're dealing with in regards to terrorism. If you were a terrorist, why wouldn't you use every word that comes out against Muslims as evidence that America is attacking Islam. You'd be stupid not to pick up on that gift.

Or this: " EPA rules by executive FIAT trying to kill an entire American industry and way of life (coal)."

Coal is the dirtiest form of energy and what you seem to expect is that the coal industry get a free pass on EPA rulings because it's a "way of life". That way of life is too high a cost on the environment for us to pay. There are much cleaner alternatives to Coal. Kentucky is a coal producing state, so it's no wonder the "good doctor" wants to push that argument. But we shouldn't be held hostage to the demands of Kentucky's coal industry on environmental issue's that effect the whole country, let alone the landscape of Kentucky or West Virginia.

Hello adagio, I am limited on time but I enjoyed reading your post and will read the rest of them later.  What came to mind is “The Legal Limit Report No. 4, The Obama Administration’s Abuse of Power”.  (There are other reports also).

Most readers are likely familiar with most of the 76 abuses. All are verifiable.

        Governing by Executive Fiat
        1. Disregarded 1996 welfare reform law in granting broad work waivers for work requirements of Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF).

        2. Implemented portions of the DREAM Act, which Congress rejected, by executive action.

        3. Ended some terror asylum restrictions, by allowing asylum for people who provided only “insignificant” or “limited” material support of terrorists.

        4. Allowed immigrants in the U.S. illegally, who are relatives of military troops and veterans, to stay in the country and get legal status.

        5. Extended federal marriage benefits by recognizing, under federal law, same-sex marriages created in a state that allows same-sex marriage even if the couple is living in a state that doesn’t recognize same-sex marriage.

        6. Recognized same-sex marriage in Utah, even though the Supreme Court stayed the court order recognizing same-sex marriage in Utah and Utah said it would not recognize same-sex marriages performed before the stay.

        7. Refused to prosecute violation of drug laws with certain mandatory minimums.

        8. Issued signing statements, refusing to enforce parts of congressional-enacted statutes.

        9. Illegally refused to act on Yucca Mountain’s application to become a nuclear waste repository.

        10. Falsely portrayed the Benghazi terrorist attack as a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim YouTube video, and then lied about the White House’s involvement.

11 Illegally revealed the existence of sealed indictments in the Benghazi investigation.

        12. Failed to enforce the Magnitsky Act as required by law, by not adding Russian human rights abusers to a list of people not permitted to travel to or do business in the U.S.

        13. Killed four Americans overseas in counterterrorism operations without judicial process.

        14. Continued to give Egypt aid after the military took over its government, even though federal law prohibits aid to Egypt in the event of a coup.

        Obamacare
        15. Granted a “hardship” exemption from the individual mandate for people whose health plans were canceled because their plans weren’t Obamacare compliant.

        16. Delayed the individual mandate for two years.

        17. Allowed individuals to buy health insurance plans in 2014 that did not comply with Obamacare. Extended this delay until 2016—past the mid-term elections.

        18. Extended the deadline to enroll in Obamacare.

        19. Illegally granted businesses a waiver from Obamacare’s employer mandate. Twice.

        20. Illegally continued the Obamacare employer contribution for congressional staffs.

        21. Illegally delayed the Obamacare caps on out-of-pocket healthcare payments.

        22. Illegally delayed Obamacare verification of eligibility for healthcare subsidies.

        23. Illegally required people to violate their faith via the Obamacare contraception mandate.

        24. As of May 2011, over 50% of Obamacare waiver beneficiaries were union members (who account for less than 12% of the American work force).

        Economy
        25. Ordered Boeing to fire 1,000 employees in South Carolina and shut down a new factory because it was non-union.

        26. Implemented a moratorium on offshore drilling after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill without statutory authority, and continued to enact new versions after federal courts repeatedly invalidated the moratorium.

        27. Treated secured creditors worse than unsecured creditors in the Chrysler bankruptcy.

        28. Terminated the pensions of 20,000 non-union Delphi employees in the GM bankruptcy.

        29. Had SWAT teams raid a Gibson guitar factory and seize property, on the purported basis that Gibson had broken India’s environmental laws—but no charges were filed.

        30. Government agencies are engaging in “Operation Choke Point,” where the government asks banks to “choke off” access to financial services for customers engaging in conduct the Administration does not like—such as “ammunition sales.”

        Executive Nominees and Personnel
        31. Made illegal “recess” appointments to the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the National Labor Relations Board when Congress wasn’t in recess. Ignored the rulings of three federal courts of appeals that held those nominations unconstitutional.

        32. Appointed czars to oversee federal policy specifically because czars do not require Senate confirmation, earning criticism from stalwart Democrats such as West Virginia Sen. Robert Byrd and Wisconsin Sen. Russ Feingold.

        33. As of January 2012, 36 of the President’s executive office staff owed $833,970 in back taxes.

        34. As of 2011, 311,566 federal employees or retirees owed $3.5 billion in taxes.

        Free Speech and Privacy
        35. Illegally targeted conservative groups for heightened IRS scrutiny.

        36. Circumvented the Freedom of Information Act, by requiring White House Counsel review of all documents to be released under the Freedom of Information Act that the Administration believed pertained to “White House equities”—and then delayed in producing many of these documents by FOIA’s statutory deadline, or didn’t produce them at all.

        37. Got secret permission from the FISA Court to reverse restrictions on the National Security Agency’s use of intercepted phone calls and emails, permitting the NSA to search American’s communications in its databases.

        38. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau is seeking to monitor about 80% of U.S. credit card transactions.

        39. Targeted Fox News reporter James Rosen by falsely labeling him a possible “co-conspirator” in a criminal investigation of a new leak.

        40. Secretly obtained phone records from staff at the Associated Press.

        41. Had meetings with lobbyists in coffee shops near White House to avoid disclosure requirements.

        Other Lawless Acts
        42. Aided drug cartels instead of enforcing immigration laws—as found by a federal judge. Border Patrol agents, multiple times, knowingly helped smuggle illegal immigrant children into the U.S.; “the DHS is encouraging parents to seriously jeopardize the safety of their children.”

        43. Illegally sold thousands of guns to criminals, in the operation known as Fast and Furious and then refused to comply with congressional subpoenas about the operation.

        44. Dismissed charges filed by Bush Administration against New Black Panther Party members who were videotaped intimidating voters at a Philadelphia polling station during the 2008 election.

        45. Argued for expansive federal powers in the Supreme Court, which has rejected the Administration’s arguments unanimously 9 times since January 2012.

        46. Sued Louisiana to stop school vouchers and keep low-income minorities trapped in failing schools.

        47. Threatened to arrest military priests for practicing their faith during the partial government shutdown.

        48. Muzzled the speech of military chaplains.

        49. Sued fire departments saying their multiple-choice, open-book written employment tests were racially discriminatory.

        50. Gave 23,994 tax refunds worth more than $46 million to aliens here illegally using the same address in Atlanta, GA.

        Other Abuses of Power
        51. Released a mentally ill Guantanamo detainee… who had been a high-risk al Qaeda fighter in jihad combat since the 1980s.

        52. Backed release of the Lockerbie bomber, Abdel Baset al-Megrahi.

        53. President Obama told NASA administrator to “find a way to reach out to the Muslim world.”

        54. Claimed the Fort Hood shooting was “workplace violence” rather than terrorism.

It is Obama who wants to ignore "that pesky Constitution".
The Constitution goes against his "Holy Quran" and shariah law.

Ted Cruz has spent a lifetime fighting to defend the Constitution — our nation’s founding document and the supreme law of the land — which was crafted by our founding fathers to act as chains to bind the mischief of government and to protect the liberties endowed to us by our Creator.

Do a little more research and you  will find multiple theories about carbon dioxide and its impact on the atmosphere and human health? Some of the increase is due to the growing global population--does anyone want to dictate how many children should be born each year--I don't think so. It is easy to find what you want to find on the Internet. You Tube films rank at the bottom of my list of reliable sources. Read the scholarly papers, review the footnotes, put everything in perspective. Do not base your opinion on one source. I had to study greenhouse gases in my last job. I am not a scientist. I was just reviewing data and therefore, will not offer a specific comment other than the issue is more complicated thanyou may think and the impact may not fit the conclusion you have already reached.
This is a complicated subject and will not be adequately explained in this forum.

I have spent time researching the environment and the effects of emissions. Not to the point that I would dare think I was an expert either, like yourself.  I have my favorite sites with serious expert analysis.  This is my Top Pick.
      http://www.geoengineeringwatch.org/

When it comes to YouTube its like finding the reporters you can trust just like finding news sites with journalists you can trust.  Some are only in it for the money and don't care what line of bull they push.  I can read news articles then do some keyword search on YouTube and find out what exactly came out of the horses mouth in most cases.

It used to be called 'global warming' but since the satellite data hasn't changed in 19 years and proves that 'global warming' is not a threat...the government changed the wording to 'climate change'.  Hey, everyone knows that 'climate change'  is occurring all the time.  But, not 'global warming'.

Why 'they' do not use the 'satellite data' when pushing the 'climate change' or 'global warming' agenda is ridiculous.  To me its obvious, to some it is not.  The truth is the world elite leaders like to keep people in the dark but there are many who see through what 'they' say...because of knowledge, real scientific data, satellite imagery, etc.  Its interesting to me...and at times highly entertaining to watch on the world stage.

It is a complicated topic.  I'm just presenting information that someone else might be interested in researching for themselves.  I do like to point out certain aspects of deceptions as I see it.  I am skeptical of those filthy rich elites who pull the strings of elected representatives and don't care about you and me.

We can shine a light in the darkness but will the darkness be able to comprehend it?

Mark 4:22 For nothing is hidden, except to be revealed; nor has anything been secret, but that it would come to light.

With yourself, Colorfulone, it seems you pick those whom you want to trust.  And presumably that will largely depend upon your "feelings" towards the reporter/journalist rather than a specific knowledge of their trust-worthiness.

Also, if you mix your personal beliefs with pseudo-science, or science which you don't clearly understand,  that can be a comprehension which is not necessarily trust-worthy.

Just a point of view you might care to consider.

Behind every President, every Prime Minister, behind every contender, there are other individuals.  All seeking to steer policies and philosophies to their way of thinking, to their ulterior, often selfish benefit.  I suggest no more so than in the oligarchy that is the United States of America.  And mostly out of public view.
Why do seek to blame just one man?  Just because it's easy and you don't have to think about it too much?

I learned a new word, "oligarchy".  Ty  I have to agree with that on how things are run.   I've pointed out the main man who pulls Obama's strings in this thread, but this thread is not about him.  I could talk about the foreign governments that influence him as well, but this thread is not about those governments.  And, I do not care to start other topic threads to discus them.  I have enough to think about, and frankly I think to much...thank you very much.

What was I just blaming Obama for...his poor ratings as president?  People voted on those ratings according to what they think.  Thankfully, I didn't have to think too much or run a poll.  Easy!

I just thought it was interesting information to share for people like yourself who might be interested in the data.  We don't have to read threads if they don't interest us, Johnny.  But, you are more than welcome!

Our Constitution disagrees with you.  Only a natural-born citizen can legally run for President.  That means someone born on U.S. soil after 1787 to parents who were BOTH Americans at the time.  Hence Cruz, Rubio, Santorum, Jindahl, McCain & Bathhouse Barry are or were illegal candidates.  Bernie Sanders had dual-citizenship with Israel so he is an illegal candidate as well.  Our last best hope to restore America and undo what this usurper has done is birther Trump with Ben Carson as VP.  It is just a crying shame the Bush-family and the Clintons will find a way to prevent Trump's election.

"Hence Cruz, Rubio, Santorum, Jindahl, McCain & Bathhouse Barry are or were illegal candidates."

You do realize that Obama was born in Hawaii in 1961. Hawaii became a state in 1959. His mother was an American Citizen born in Wichita Kansas. It doesn't matter where you were born, if at least one of your parents are a US Citizen, You have natural born status as a US citizen. His fathers citizenship has absolutely no bearing on Baracks. Obama is a US Citizen as long as he doesn't renounce it.  Our government recognizes the citizenship of at least one parent as necessary for citizenship. Obama was born in the State of Hawaii and his mother is a US Citizen. End of Story.  Cruz however, unlike Obama actually was born in another country. In fact, he held dual citizenship with Canada until after he became a US Senator. Only then did he declare his US Citizenship and reject the Canadian Citizenship which I'm sure Canada is really sad about. Nevertheless his mother was a US citizen. That makes Cruz a US citizen and eligible to run for President.

The ONLY written truth is found in the Bible as all newspapers, magazines, book publishers and the entire mainstream-media(including FoxNews & npr) are owned and operated by an evil-cabal of global-elite commonly referred to as "The Illuminati".  They have been using the Freemasons, Skull&Bones, Oxford University, the Jesuits, Bilderbergs, Bohemian Grove, etc for MANY decades to establish their Luciferian NWO.
Everything you think you know is a lie.  I am sorry I have to break it to you but Oswald was a patsy, the Titanic was really the RMS Olympic and Jack-the-Ripper was a collection of Freemasons working on behalf of Queen Victoria covering up the adventures of her flamboyant grandson " Prince Eddy".

Colorfulone, why are you referring us to videos that were designed at the time, 4 years ago, to discredit a person who was destined to become President?  It was all political propaganda.  So it's unreasonable, and pointless to bring that up now. It was all dirty politicking, trying to smear him with mud in order to sway public opinion.

At least, that's as I see it.

Ahh ok not familiar with Alex Jones. I'm most fascinated with the notion of Obama as the Anti Christ but that veers into religious beliefs and all that Illuminati conspiracy. I don't want to debate or insult someone's religious views so all I can do is hope that those end of days left behind rapture beliefs provide genuine comfort. I find genuine peace and comfort in NOT believing it for a second, or in an AntiChrist. Different strokes.

Sgt Pepper. Obviously you are a deranged "birther" who revels in conspiracy theories. This kind of nonsense disqualifies you as a serious minded contributor to this discussion. BTW... the topic of discussion here is about Ben Carson saying No Muslim should be president, which of course is a violation of the Constitution. You do know that much right? Article VI: "no religious test shall ever be required as a qualification to any office or public trust under the United States." So, if like most conservatives you are inclined to wave the Constitution in everybody's face, you'll need to step back and re-evaluate this non-sense. It may be Red Meat for the right wing but the idea is totally unconsitutional.

Justice O’Connor opinion in Elk Grove Unified Sch. Dist. v. Newdow, 542 U.S. 1 (2004).

She said, "The Constitution does not guarantee citizens a right entirely to avoid ideas with which they disagree. It would betray its own principles if it did; no robust democracy insulates its citizens from views that they might find novel or even inflammatory."

I would like if who are offended not be insulting.
But, that's life.   Its ok to be offended.  wink

      Comedian Steve Hughes... Offended?
      * https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHMoDt3nSHs

Political correctness is the oppression of our intellectual movement so no one says anything anymore just in case anyone else get’s offended. What happens if you say that and someone gets offended? Well they can be offended, can’t they? What’s wrong with being offended? When did stick and stones may break my bones stop being relevant? Isn’t that what you teach children? He called me an idiot! Don’t worry about it, he’s a ____.

Now you have adults going “I was offended, I was offended and I have rights!” Well so what, be offended, nothing happened. You’re an adult, grow up, and deal with it. I was offended! Well, I don’t care! Nothing happens when you’re offended. “I went to the comedy show and the comedian said something about the lord, and I was offended, and when I woke up in the morning, I had leprosy."

Nothing Happens. “I want to live in a democracy but I never want to be offended again.” Well you’re an idiot.

How do you make a law about offending people? How do you make it an offense to offend people? Being offended is subjective. It has everything to do with you as an individual or a collective, or a group or a society or a community. Your moral conditioning, your religious beliefs. What offends me may not offend you. And you want to make laws about this? I’m offended when I see boy bands for god sake.

It’s a valid offense, I’m offended. They’re cooperate shills, posing as musicians to further a modeling career and frankly I’m disgusted.

Barry Lynn is a lawyer as well and heads up Americans United for the Separation of Church and State. Now considering that our Constitution is a secular Constitution and outlines a secular government...who's views on that subject should I consider to be a more accurate reading of the Constitution and closer to defending religious liberty in this country; The guy that is advocating for a certain religious group, or the guy who holds the Constitution as a secular document?

Of course he did. That's what all of the hatemongers do. They write racist things on dorm room doors about themselves, set churches and mosques on fire hoping to start some freaking race war!  The media buys into their deceptions until they are found out.  Do you think the media then report on the perp as much as the story, no.

CBS News:  Advocacy groups believe there has been a spike in anti-Muslim incidents across the United States in recent weeks that can be linked to the mass shooting in California and the inflammatory rhetoric of Donald Trump and other Republican presidential candidates. And they say that Muslims are fearful the backlash could lead to further harassment and violence.
