Cyberstalking
"Wikistalker" redirects here. For cyberstalking as it pertains to Wikipedia, see Wikipedia:Harassment#Wikihounding.
Cyberstalking is the use of the Internet or other electronic means to stalk or harass an individual, a group of individuals, or an organization. It may include the making of false accusations or statements of fact (as in defamation), monitoring, making threats, identity theft, damage to data or equipment, the solicitation of minors for sex, or gathering information that may be used to harass. The definition of "harassment" must meet the criterion that a reasonable person, in possession of the same information, would regard it as sufficient to cause another reasonable person distress.[1] Cyberstalking is different from spatial or offline stalking in that it occurs through the use of electronic communications technology such as the internet. However, it sometimes leads to it, or is accompanied by it.[2] Both are criminal offenses.[3] Cyberstalking shares important characteristics with offline stalking. Many stalkers - online or off - are motivated by a desire to control their victims.[4]
A cyberstalker may be an online stranger or a person whom the target knows. A cyberstalker may be anonymous and may solicit involvement of other people online who do not even know the target.
Cyberstalking is a criminal offense that comes into play under state anti-stalking laws, slander laws, and harassment laws. A cyberstalking conviction can result in a restraining order, probation, or even criminal penalties against the assailant, including jail.
Ironically, the only one guilty of potential cyber-stalking is jdc;a;lkajsd;lfkjasf
didn't the post a few pages back say something to the effect of
"I will add all of your friends, I'm doing it right now, I'll never go away, I'll mock you and follow you and talk about god to all of your friends on here, etc, bullcrap, etc....blah blah blah"
To whom it may concern:
Having a lot of friends in different professions is sometimes a blessing in disguise. Threatening to stalk or actually stalking (js;lakjsdfl;kaj followed me twice left hateful fanmail then unfollowed me) is illegal at the FEDERAL level. It's being looked into.
I think you're in need of some serious, serious help. I wish there was a more politically correct way of saying this, but I no longer care - dude, you're crazy. Period. No one is taking you seriously, no one is even paying attention to your ignorance anymore.
Once the scrolling madness stops, and hopefully they catch this human disaster soon, I'll be glad to continue on with the DISCUSSION that is not an argument or conflict. Seeing things that aren't there, twisting words around, blatantly lying, being an all-around nuisance and threatening people. That really sounds like the love of christ to me.
So it is not just me?! I have been followed by jccfg; jffddc; jccdddd; jdvc; jqtvlmnop too I have never had a cyber bully before. But it would take this mindset. I haven't the patience nor will to keep on making up new names; and making new accounts??? Puleezzz. If I EVER. I will then be assured that cyberworld is not my world. I would quit this madness altogether before that hap'ns. Each of the accusers stands guilty of that slimy trickery. My hands are clean.
yet I am being accused:)
It happened to Jesus too.

haven't you noticed that the ONLY person leaving and getting banned (not once but a dozen times so far, and counting) is YOU? Doesn't that tell you something? Anything? Take off the tinfoil helmet and wake up.
When identifying cyberstalking "in the field," and particularly when considering whether to report it to any kind of legal authority, the following features or combination of features can be considered to characterize a true stalking situation: malice, premeditation, repetition, distress, obsession, vendetta, no legitimate purpose, personally directed, disregarded warnings to stop, harassment, and threats.[6]
A number of key factors have been identified:
False accusations. Many cyberstalkers try to damage the reputation of their victim and turn other people against them. They post false information about them on websites. They may set up their own websites, blogs or user pages for this purpose. They post allegations about the victim to newsgroups, chat rooms or other sites that allow public contributions, such as Wikipedia or Amazon.com.[7]
Attempts to gather information about the victim. Cyberstalkers may approach their victim's friends, family and work colleagues to obtain personal information. They may advertise for information on the Internet, or hire a private detective.
Monitoring their target's online activities and attempting to trace their IP address in an effort to gather more information about their victims. [8]
Encouraging others to harass the victim. Many cyberstalkers try to involve third parties in the harassment. They may claim the victim has harmed the stalker or his/her family in some way, or may post the victim's name and telephone number in order to encourage others to join the pursuit.
False victimization. The cyberstalker will claim that the victim is harassing him/her. Bocij writes that this phenomenon has been noted in a number of well-known cases.
Attacks on data and equipment. They may try to damage the victim's computer by sending viruses.
Ordering goods and services. They order items or subscribe to magazines in the victim's name. These often involve subscriptions to pornography or ordering sex toys then having them delivered to the victim's workplace.
Arranging to meet. Young people face a particularly high risk of having cyberstalkers try to set up meetings between them.[9]
The police already read this and you harassed me by messaging me back. The police already habe your emails from me because I forwarded it to them. I would suggest you to leave me alone, if you have nothing nice nice to say to me. Have a good day. Look it up cyberstalking. Good luck to you all. I want you up leave me alone. That is all I ask. Thank you do much.
That is a good suggestion is to stop commenting on this. Good one. It took you all that long to figure that out. You know I don't care what you people think of me because God can only judge, God knows where my heart is, I know where my heart is and I know I am saved. What about you? What is going on? Good luck. We all need to stop here.
Thank you for calling me insane and crazy because the only thing that can save me is God. God loves sinners. Jesus is here to save us sinners. We are all equals in God's eyes. We all mocked God, when we didn't obey his commandments in the Holy Bible, Genaea, so that includes you too. Peeples I pray for your husband to lead you to Christ. You need to read 1 Corinthians because it will tell you why you are husband married you and what he should do now. I am so glad that I am hiliarous now that I reported it. We can laugh when something happens. See ya. Leave me alone. Thank you so much.
If you are talking about the spammer. I don't think it will matter. She will just jump to another one and spam that.
You want everyone to leave you alone, but you're not willing to do the same? Try practicing what you preach - you know, like JESUS did, for starters.
If you wanted me to leave you alone, why did you send me harassing and hateful fan mail that I had to delete? Why have you followed me multiple times? Why are you still following me at this very moment?
This conversation was a reasoned (to use the term loosely) discussion between people with different beliefs. There is NOTHING wrong with that. The only person that had a problem with it is you. All of us are fine. We haven't been banned. We haven't had to make up a multitude of different fake names to enable us to come back. We haven't thrown stones or insulted each other (well, most of us). The only one guilty of anything is you. Period. You think someone disagreeing with you is harassment, and you're wrong. Fundamentally flawed.
Do you know what the definition of insanity is? Doing the same thing repeatedly expecting a different result, like, say, I don't know - posting pages of copied/pasted bible verses which, incidentally, have NOTHING TO DO with the conversation OR what you claim they do. I want to talk to people who view the world differently. That is how we learn. This conversation accomplishes (or at least accomplished) that - at least until you, or one of your tween personas showed up. it's ridiculous, and your current persona is currently under investigation AGAIN. get your next one lined up, cause this one is going to be gone rather shortly.
Bases covered. I got five different followers this morning.
Reminds me of the fact that when I was a young kid around 5, I had insomnia. When I finally got to sleep, I would have these mind-blowing, high octane dreams. I was always being chased. Not just chased but my dreams always included these long chase scenes. I was like a superhero. I jumped buildings. Flew over walls. Ran up trees. Slid under low spaces. I always woke up sweating, breathing hard, with my heart about to punp out of my chest! I would be amazed most mornings. Sleep was so exciting. I always got away. I was never caught, no matter who was chasing. No matter how many.
I am safe. I am grateful.
This is Jessica again. We don't need to fight because we don't to fight for God. The losers get the crown, so thank you so much. Winners don't get the crown. We all have heard that song before. We all need to get along. We all need to leave this be. I am in insane.
Religion is man made, so that won't get you to Heaven, so I know that. Thank you for reminding me of that. We are saved by God's mercy through our faith in God. You should be glad that I said I am done, but I am not if you continue this behavior. Good luck. Leave me alone and I will leave you alone. That is fair. Thank you.
Gee that was quick, hubpages must not be able to keep up with you.
I am actually not saying anything because I am reporting to the high authorities and hubpages because I am done here. I am to busy reporting now. I learned my lesson. It is good for me to be quiet and watch. I would rather watch, now. It is funny. See ya
You keep talking bad about me then I keep reporting. That would be fun because I would be reporting a lot. I bet this is hiliarous to ever is reading it. I am glad they are getting a good laugh at it. I am laughing about it. Leave me alone. Thank you so much.
didn't you JUST get through saying that you were done and that you wanted to watch now?
Can you not even make up your mind on a single, easy issue for longer than 15 seconds?
what exactly is a high authority?
I know that hubpages has been notified of this whoevertheheck a multitude of times (plus one, because I just reported her, and linked her posting IP address under gorky or whatever it is now)
I know that several of my police officer friends in MY area are unable to act because it's on the internet, which is a federal crime (falls under stalking) and THEY in turn have reported it to someone at a federal, higher level. She/he/it can report me or anyone else all she wants, but she has nothing to report.
I, on the other hand, actually provided evidence, screen shots, print screens, and print outs of her abusive, harassing, spamming behavior. Bring it on. If you think you can come after me you are HIGHLY mistaken - however, I'd like to see you try. Nevermind the fact that this, incidentally, goes against EVERYTHING that you've posted about god.
You already admitted to having a record for stalking/spamming/bullying. I wonder what a second offense comes with wherever you're from.
The officer that I talked to me told me to report another department and I have reported cyberstalking on other people too, so I know how to get to the authorities involved, so I would stop now.
I actually don't have to stop participating in a conversation, since I haven't broken any of the rules. That's why I'm still here, and you've had to make up 20 different names to keep coming back. Thanks for playing. Next.
I can always print out and hand to someone and that would be it.
go ahead. unlike you, i actually DO know what I'm talking about. I have not 1) insulted (intentionally calling someone names) 2) harassed (following me, leaving unwelcome fan mail repeatedly) 3) stalked ( going to your profile and following you with the INTENT to harass) 3) abused (hurt or demean you physically) or 4) bullied you.
You, however, have done all of the above. On second thought, why don't you walk down to the police station, point out all of your various personas with a print out of this ENTIRE thread and watch what happens. You're going to be the one in trouble, dear. not me. Not anyone else. Just you. Why? Because YOU violated the rules, and you know it - that's why you've had umpteen accounts and the rest of us have, say it with me now, ONE.
JMcFarland I thought you said you were done talking to me, so why are you still talking to me.
you said you were done talking to me, so why are you still talking to me?
Thank you so much and it is sad that the cops even know I have a faith in God, so you are the loser.
I can show this to people too and they would get a good laugh at it.
Converse...aint them the cool "sneakers???" ok
I do got some good English training. I will try my very best to use it as good as I possibly can. conversate is slang. I forgot. Converseconverseconverseconverseconverse.
Hey again. You know my name by now. I am done here but just here to copy and then paste it. Jessica is back lol. Good luck. Thanks for the info. See ya. I will leave.
Jessica, you are digging a large hole for yourself. You said that you would quit. But you do not. Do you really want to be put in jail? Some people take your actions very seriously. Think
I am a happy person because God gave me the gift to work with special children. I have patience with children, but not adults. I have gained a lot a new Christoan friends because God blessed me with them. They don't judge me, they help me get closer to God, read the Holy Bible together, pray together and we are involved in church. I love to help out in the community. What is your marriage about? What is going on here?
You know me. I work with special children because you know why if you read my testimony here. I am going to evangelizing classes and bible classes. I am planning to maybe become a missionary because that is God's calling for me. What do you think? What do you want do? Why is that? How are you feeling?
I want to spread God's word, but I avoid your comments because they are not true about me. Do not be a false witness. It is good. How are you doing? What do you want to be? Why is that? See ya.
All this stuff is your opinions about me and they are not true. I am sorry that you feel this way about me. I will pray for all of you. It is good. What else would you like to one about me? What else shall we talk about? Good day. See ya.

I think we are done here. Thank you so much. Have a good day. God bless you. What do you think of this? What are you doing for Thanksgiving? I wish you the best. Talk to you later.

Since I identify as Agnostic (not fully sure what that is, by the way), because I believe in Dawkins as the savior, I speak of it often. I have found that in all my conversations with the most idiots, and/or highly articulate, and some not so articulate; I am bombarded with many objections to my...

Okay, I've really taken an interest in the forums for the last few days as I need something to keep my mind off of something. I've noticed a few things and came up with a few theories on HubPages groupthink. Thought it be fun to test them out, so here goes:I, technically, am a Unitarian...

You guys - I posted this in the Questions section, but because it turned into a full-blown discussion, HubPagers advised me to move it to Forums. Here it is:"Cult" is defined as a system of beliefs that doesn't work, but people cling to it because they fear "eternal hell"...

Why do people believe the Bible is the Word of God?I have my own reasons, but I'm curious about what other Hubbers think.
