Who's who on Facebook

   I went and signed up on Facebook and now I don't know who is who. I am sure that there are people who I am a fan of but their real name is not the same as their user name here. So I would just like to know if people who are on Facebook and Hubpages might like to post their names so that your fans can join your Facebook friends.
   
   My name for Facebook is Gwen Schlehofer, I know some people who I joined their Fan club didn't know who I was. So there it is.

   I kicked myself off. I got scared that everyone from high school was going to follow me there, I was only in there for a day and started getting requests from old friends and I knew it was only a matter of time until some ex psychos find me and terrorize me through and then next thing you know my wife is finding out about me and my past and my hubpage buddies and then chases me over here!

      I second that and I am 100% agreement, it isn't my psycho H.S. friends it is the you know what that is following me around now. Limelight not for me currently maybe in about 6 months.

      Ouch.  I was on the wife end of this comment once.  Seriously, he could have told me anything, and that would have made it okay.  But when he didn't, and I stumbled on stuff...that sucked.  Why the secrecy policy that a lot of men seem to have?

      I have no trouble hitting the "ignore" button on those folks.  I don't friend anyone with whom I have not had some communication on a friendly level.  I won't just accept anyone.  If I have never had any type of conversation with a person, I won't friend them, no offense... Maybe, later.

    Well Shalini, now you know. I decided to write my HP name on my profile so that maybe people would know who I am. Someone told me I don't look like me, said it was the hair. I thought it was my glasses.

          Well Lewis is my maiden name and for me to find old friends from High School I had to somehow let them know who I am, but my second married name is Allen.  My first marriage I was an Anderson.  So that is who I am.

             Actually Facebook is an automated system that just wants you to type in a name that sounds real, which is why I think sirdent did not go through.  I used to have a pen name on facebook before I decided to start using my real name there.

    To those of you who've already tried to add me, I apologize.  To anyone else who tries, I apologize in advance.  I have a blanket policy of denying any friend requests from people I do not know in person, even Hubbers, for my own privacy.

       I'm like that. I don't even ask people if I'm supposed to know them, I hit the reject button. I don't want no friends of friends!
       
       Though I had an interesting situation where I should have rejected someone but I hadn't for a week and they ended up messaging me. It was a cousin of a cousin (Her mothers brother was married to my fathers sister). They were about 16 years old when they met me. Held me actually. I was a newborn baby at the time.
       
       Since then we've swapped photos and stories and I saw photos of relatives from way before I was born for the first time and vice versa.
       
       So I started a more of a social online facebook profile. If you're a hubber and you're friending me let me know you're on HubPages. I tend to be far more friendly and fond of you if you're from here
