Hello everyone and thank you for all your hubs submitted last week.  We managed an amazing 28 hubs responding to the topic of Cosmetic Surgery.
And the most prolific HubMobsters for last week arehttp://i42.tinypic.com/2lwkths.jpg:

Soni2006 takes the lead with an amazing 8 hubs on cosmetic surgery:
    Mastopexy
An illustrated guide to facial cosmetic surgery and Botox injections
Cosmetic Lifting Procedures for buttock, thigh, and face areas
Get back your adorable tummy with cosmetic surgery options
Modern Cosmetic Surgery - Liposuction Procedure
    An Alternative to Painful Liposuction
An illustrated guide to treatment of burns
    Cosmetic hair implantation surgery

Followed by Anath with 3 hubs on the topic.
How to Get Free Plastic Surgery
    Vaginal Rejuvenation
Cosmetic surgery, the search for perfection

This week we continue on the topic of health but this time we are going to join in the discussion that is dividing the USA; health-care reforms.   This is the week to put forward your opinions on the debate.  Do not worry if you are not North American as you can still contribute to the debate by hubbing about how the health service works in your country and the advantages and disadvantages of your country's system.  In a lighter note you can hub about medical tourism in your country or why having medical treatment outside America can be beneficial both financially and in terms of the treatment received.

Some ideas for a hubmob hub on health care are:

    Health Care around the World
    Socialized Medicine
    Universal Health Care
    Health Care Industry
    Health Insurance
    Managed Health & HMOs
    Medical Tourism
    Nontraditional Medications & Supplements
    Prescription Drugs & Over-the-counter Drugs
Prices & Costs of Surgery & Treatments
    Selecting a Hospital
    Selecting a Physician
    Selecting a Procedure & Selecting a Treatment
    World Health Organizations

To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:

    1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK.  Choose the Answer the Request green button.  Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.

    2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"

    3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/20868/hubm … ew&rss

    4. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.

    5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why.  Take advantage of the free publicity!

    Free Health Care for children!

    Do I get your vote?

Some parents are dreading an emergency. You know why! If their child has an accident they have to think twice before taking action.

Some emergency centres want, pay as you leave.

(You can have your child back when you pay your bill madame. But..but my child is worth more than one hundren dollars.
That's your opinion madame, to us he is only worth your payment. Now what is it going to be, money or the child? The choice is up to you?)

So do we get free emergency health care for children.

    I say yes!!!

That is so amazingly unbelievable that you should join the HubMob this week writing about this shameful situation.
Primary Health care should be a right and not a privilege!

Ups... 6 hours later...Sorry for the delay, we had an amazingly hot and sunny day in here...

the RSS feed posted at the start of the thread seems to be working ok: http://hubpages.com/question/20868/hubm … ew&rss when I click on it I get all the Hubs that have been published so far for this week.

I have looked at your hub rmcrayne and yes it says that the RSS has no hubs.  Why don't you try yo refresh it and see if it works.  Otherwise you might want to contact the hubpages help team (team@hubpages.com) for some technical support.

Wow - I just changed the title on my HubMob article, after Google searching my original title and deciding it was more general than I realized.  I hope I haven't messed anything up.  My hub score hadn't climbed yet, and it's still early in the week, so hopefully the title change will only make a positive difference, if any.  It's the same url address, as you guys know:   http://hubpages.com/hub/Federal-Health- … e-Affected

The new title is: Why Unconcerned Americans Remain Apathetic To Health Care Issues

    Here's number 1:

    http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Talk-to- … About-Pain

Most people suck at describing pain, so don’t think you are alone.  I hope to help you learn a language to talk about your pain and symptoms with your doctor or other medical provider.  I will introduce you to describing your symptoms in terms of history of injury, and location, quality, intensity, frequency and duration of pain.

I think maybe I read what I wanted to hear the first time.  My article was not about healthcare reform.  My other planned pieces are not on healthcare reform except in an oblique way:  I wish the reform was to a shift to Alternative Medicine.

Princessaposted 15 years agoin reply to this

It's ok.  This week's topic is not only about Health Reforms (we are not all North Americans in here!) it is broader than that.  As I suggested in the list of topics for possible hubs you can hub about:

      Health Care around the World
      Health Insurance
      Medical Tourism
      Nontraditional Medications & Supplements
      Prescription Drugs & Over-the-counter Drugs
Prices & Costs of Surgery & Treatments
      Selecting a Hospital
      Selecting a Physician
      Selecting a Procedure & Selecting a Treatment
      World Health Organizations

Feel free to choose a subject you are comfortable with as long as it is within the health care category.

Great.  Thanks Princessa.  My goal is 4 or 5 hubs this week.  Probably won't publish today though as anything I submit today may not reach a hubscore of 55 in 24 hours and would not be looked at by the HubNuggets team.  So I should have 2 for Wed.

Here is my Hub on Health Savings Accounts which are an alternative to expensive pre-paid medical plans that pay for every little doctor visit but cost a small fortune in annual premiums.  With these plans a person, or employer can purchase an inexpensive high deductible plan and put money into a tax free savings account that lets them save for small bills and provides insurance for big medical bills.

Rose Mary - thanks.  I'm glad I wrote it, too.  The sad (and good) part is that I LOVE my oncologist - she is kind and loving and she doesn't make me feel rushed at all once I get into the exam room with her.  She even takes time to talk to my girls, who often have to tag along with me.  It's just getting into the exam room that is awful - we sit in the waiting room for so long, often an hour beyond my appt time, before getting called in.  Ok, I'm rambling .... better start writing the next one...

I'm a newbie to the Mob and fairly new to HubPages.  But, I finished my health care hub... Whoopee!

I have only one problem, -  I can't get the HobMob RSS feed to work.  It works when I'm in edit mode, however, when I publish the Hub, there's an error saying "that it is not a real feed"?

This was my first ever time having anything to do with RSS - still don't quite understand how to use it for my own sites, but that's another thread for another day.

I just right clicked on the link in the first post here on this thread and selected "copy link location" and I pasted it into the RSS capsule and it seems to be working fine on the 2 hubs I submitted.  That probably doesn't help much, but thought I'd let y'all know...hope you're able to figure out what the problem is.

Wow rmcrayne, #5 Awesome I want to learn to create hubs this fast. I agree, it is very important to listen to your body and to keep seeking professional help until you find a doctor that will listen and work with you to find out what is wrong.  Unfortunately, insurance coverage at times dictates whether or not you get the necessary lab work and additional care required.

Also my apologies for not replying to your question about the rss. I have spent the last 2 days attempting to find this forum again. LOL! Isn't that just like a newbie doing everything except scrolling down on the page. LOL!

I sent you an email with some specific feedback.

As far as additional hubs I have some suggestions and didn't think to put it in the email.

I think there are procedures that are more commonly done and therefore hubs on them would have wider appeal.

Steroid injections are common for orthopedic issues (these injections are usually done by orthopedists) such as carpal tunnel, DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis (base of thumb), trigger finger or thumb, thumb CMC arthritis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow).

Injections for shoulder and knee pain, particularly for arthritis, are not necessarily steroid injections.

Also consider the “cartilage” injections for the knees, such as synvisc.  Prolotherapy is used for problems similar to steroid injections.  It was not really done at my facility, but there is some decent evidence on it.

Thanks for nice review and feedback. I will look into these injections and create some hubs on them, actually these are some rare titles and keywords which have less competition in the search engines so may be they will rank higher. I will check out your specifics provided in the mail.

Please do report any technical issues to the HubPages team, they will be more than happy to be informed of any "bugs" and they will try to fix it ASAP.

Have a great Sunday and keep you eyes peeled tomorrow to find out who was the most prolific hubmobster of the week and to find out the new topic for next week.

      Oh Wow, What an honor!
Thank you Princessa, and also thanks for the explanation about the picture.  Really weird, I reloaded my picture once again and it shows and now I can see rmcrayne's little girl...Go figure!

Lily Rose did you include the RSS capsule in your HubMob #3?  I saw it on #2, but not on #3.  Also when I click on the RSS, it shows 20 total hubs for HubMob. It only shows your #1.

      hmmm....I'll check now...

Okay - checked and apparently I forgot to add the RSS to #3 so I just did it.  Don't know why #2 & #3 don't show up when you click on the RSS - I'm so not up to speed on what RSS is, so I'm not sure what you even mean by that...
