Hello everyone and thank you for all your hubs submitted last week. We managed an amazing 28 hubs responding to the topic of Cosmetic Surgery.
And the most prolific HubMobsters for last week are:
Soni2006 takes the lead with an amazing 8 hubs on cosmetic surgery:
Mastopexy
An illustrated guide to facial cosmetic surgery and Botox injections
Cosmetic Lifting Procedures for buttock, thigh, and face areas
Get back your adorable tummy with cosmetic surgery options
Modern Cosmetic Surgery - Liposuction Procedure
An Alternative to Painful Liposuction
An illustrated guide to treatment of burns
Cosmetic hair implantation surgery
Followed by Anath with 3 hubs on the topic.
How to Get Free Plastic Surgery
Vaginal Rejuvenation
Cosmetic surgery, the search for perfection
This week we continue on the topic of health but this time we are going to join in the discussion that is dividing the USA; health-care reforms. This is the week to put forward your opinions on the debate. Do not worry if you are not North American as you can still contribute to the debate by hubbing about how the health service works in your country and the advantages and disadvantages of your country's system. In a lighter note you can hub about medical tourism in your country or why having medical treatment outside America can be beneficial both financially and in terms of the treatment received.
Some ideas for a hubmob hub on health care are:
Health Care around the World
Socialized Medicine
Universal Health Care
Health Care Industry
Health Insurance
Managed Health & HMOs
Medical Tourism
Nontraditional Medications & Supplements
Prescription Drugs & Over-the-counter Drugs
Prices & Costs of Surgery & Treatments
Selecting a Hospital
Selecting a Physician
Selecting a Procedure & Selecting a Treatment
World Health Organizations
To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:
1. YOU MUST START YOUR HUB CLICKING THIS LINK. Choose the Answer the Request green button. Choose the MAKE A HUB ABOUT IT option.
2. Choose a relevant title for your Hub to get a good ranking in the search engines, AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"
3. Include the HubMob RSS Feed in your hub: http://hubpages.com/question/20868/hubm … ew&rss
4. Add the HubMob graphic to your hub so that everyone who reads it will know that it is part of the official HubMob topic of the week.
5. After you publish your HubMob Hub, come back to the forum and post a link to your hub with a brief description of what you wrote about and why. Take advantage of the free publicity!
Free Health Care for children!
Do I get your vote?
Some parents are dreading an emergency. You know why! If their child has an accident they have to think twice before taking action.
Some emergency centres want, pay as you leave.
(You can have your child back when you pay your bill madame. But..but my child is worth more than one hundren dollars.
That's your opinion madame, to us he is only worth your payment. Now what is it going to be, money or the child? The choice is up to you?)
So do we get free emergency health care for children.
I say yes!!!
That is so amazingly unbelievable that you should join the HubMob this week writing about this shameful situation.
Primary Health care should be a right and not a privilege!
I couldn't agree more!! My 23 yr old sister had to take out a personal loan to get my nephew specialized care because she was told she made to much to get aid.. she's a single mother making 9$ an hour.
I was thinking about the same thing, and you started the thread.
Good girl.
Let's stir this pot and get at least 500 clicks by the end of the week.
Everybody take and stand and join the caravan!!
Health care reform, how fitting an issue! Here's my contribution. I made sure to get it in early this week because it is such a necessary topic. I'll be happy just having so many eyes, minds and hearts focused on this topic all week! BRAVO! http://hubpages.com/hub/Federal-Health- … e-Affected
Charm, I just read and commented on your hub, and did not see the HubMob RSS. Mine once again is saying invalid feed. I've entered it twice, see the HubMob hubs, then go back and no hubs listed. PRINCESSA!
Ups... 6 hours later...Sorry for the delay, we had an amazingly hot and sunny day in here...
the RSS feed posted at the start of the thread seems to be working ok: http://hubpages.com/question/20868/hubm … ew&rss when I click on it I get all the Hubs that have been published so far for this week.
I have looked at your hub rmcrayne and yes it says that the RSS has no hubs. Why don't you try yo refresh it and see if it works. Otherwise you might want to contact the hubpages help team (team@hubpages.com) for some technical support.
Ahh, great Princessa. Now you've gone and picked a topic apt to make me neglect all other aspects of my life this week!
Let's try and keep this topic on the top of the page.
If you see it slipping while your on duty, please jump in and support free health care for children around the world.
Those sad little eyes and those runny noses.
I will have a challenge for all at the end of the week. It will require will power.
Good night.
Aaah! Why me?
I only published this yesterday. This means, I can't click on the link as you require.
If you can add it, I'd be grateful.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Pro-Ana-New-Ano … t-Explicit
Pro Ana - New Anorexic Cult (Explicit!)
Sorry, Lady_E...it won't work that way, you won't be part of the feed.
Wow - I just changed the title on my HubMob article, after Google searching my original title and deciding it was more general than I realized. I hope I haven't messed anything up. My hub score hadn't climbed yet, and it's still early in the week, so hopefully the title change will only make a positive difference, if any. It's the same url address, as you guys know: http://hubpages.com/hub/Federal-Health- … e-Affected
The new title is: Why Unconcerned Americans Remain Apathetic To Health Care Issues
Here's number 1:
http://hubpages.com/hub/How-to-Talk-to- … About-Pain
Most people suck at describing pain, so don’t think you are alone. I hope to help you learn a language to talk about your pain and symptoms with your doctor or other medical provider. I will introduce you to describing your symptoms in terms of history of injury, and location, quality, intensity, frequency and duration of pain.
I think maybe I read what I wanted to hear the first time. My article was not about healthcare reform. My other planned pieces are not on healthcare reform except in an oblique way: I wish the reform was to a shift to Alternative Medicine.
It's ok. This week's topic is not only about Health Reforms (we are not all North Americans in here!) it is broader than that. As I suggested in the list of topics for possible hubs you can hub about:
Health Care around the World
Health Insurance
Medical Tourism
Nontraditional Medications & Supplements
Prescription Drugs & Over-the-counter Drugs
Prices & Costs of Surgery & Treatments
Selecting a Hospital
Selecting a Physician
Selecting a Procedure & Selecting a Treatment
World Health Organizations
Feel free to choose a subject you are comfortable with as long as it is within the health care category.
Great. Thanks Princessa. My goal is 4 or 5 hubs this week. Probably won't publish today though as anything I submit today may not reach a hubscore of 55 in 24 hours and would not be looked at by the HubNuggets team. So I should have 2 for Wed.
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-National-He … vesting-in
Well guys here's my twopenneth. It is a bit of a ramble and so I hope it makes sense and gets across at least part of my point.
A very enjoyable read and absolutely great photos! Thanks for sharing your family pictures
Your HubMob hub is now live! Bet Mezo will have something for us this week....isn't he studying medicine?
Health Care HubMob
Thanks Princessa. I could not quite find the photos I wanted but will upload when I do.
Here is my Hub on Health Savings Accounts which are an alternative to expensive pre-paid medical plans that pay for every little doctor visit but cost a small fortune in annual premiums. With these plans a person, or employer can purchase an inexpensive high deductible plan and put money into a tax free savings account that lets them save for small bills and provides insurance for big medical bills.

Here's #2:
Treat Your Body Like Your Favorite Car
http://hubpages.com/hub/Treat-Your-Body … vorite-Car
Why can’t we take as good of care of our bodies as we do of our cars? If we turn the radio off and listen to the rattles in our body, most all the information we need to be healthier and pain free is there.
THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE RSS>
Here's number 3:
The First Time Western Medicine Failed Me
http://hubpages.com/hub/The-First-Time- … -Failed-Me
After 6 ½ years of chronic sinus infections, I finally cured myself and regained my life with a self help book.
Here's my $.02!
This is my first time participating in the HubMob - thanks, Rose Mary for motivating me to write this:
http://hubpages.com/hub/whatIlearnedfromcancertreatment
This hub is about my recent experience with doctors failing me and why it is so important for us all to be our own advocates when it comes to our health care.
LR I'm soooo glad you wrote this. Sad state of our medical care that we have to encourage people that it's okay to demand customer service.
Princessa still enjoying your weather and friends I hope.
Princessa - thanks, glad to be here .... have a couple more on the horizon.
Rose Mary - thanks. I'm glad I wrote it, too. The sad (and good) part is that I LOVE my oncologist - she is kind and loving and she doesn't make me feel rushed at all once I get into the exam room with her. She even takes time to talk to my girls, who often have to tag along with me. It's just getting into the exam room that is awful - we sit in the waiting room for so long, often an hour beyond my appt time, before getting called in. Ok, I'm rambling .... better start writing the next one...
The hub has been updated!
Health Care HubMob
Off to work on HubNuggets, now. I'll be back sometime later today and/or tomorrow to update before I leave for the weekend.
Happy hubbing, everyone!
Here's number 4:
Healthcare in America- Hurry You’re Behind!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Healthcare-in-A … ure-Behind
We have developed a culture of medicine in America in which primary care providers don’t have adequate time to truly assess our needs and actually deliver the quality healthcare that we need.
Number 2:
I'm not sure if this qualifies, as it's more "health" related rather than being on "health care" ....
http://hubpages.com/hub/learnaboutBRCAtesting
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October), this one is all about genetic testing for cancer gene mutations, BRCA 1/2.
Thanks for all the great contributions to this week's HubMob. I'll try to put one up toguether as well.
rmcrayne: I had a very good day. Enjoyed the late sun taking my little ones to do the apple and nuts harvest
Hello HobMob;
I'm a newbie to the Mob and fairly new to HubPages. But, I finished my health care hub... Whoopee!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Health-Care-Ref … an-Society
I have only one problem, - I can't get the HobMob RSS feed to work. It works when I'm in edit mode, however, when I publish the Hub, there's an error saying "that it is not a real feed"?
If someone could help me out with this problem, I would greatly appreciate it...
Alright! I got the rss issue resolved....
I copied the RSS directly off of the Google page. I guess that was the part I was forgetting.
Here's the one I used that worked for me...
http://hubpages.com/question/20868/hubm … ew&rss
But let me know if there;s something else that needs to be done...
Money I complained of the same problem. I tried your link for RSS and it's still the same. Shows in edit mode, disappears in final. What do you mean directly from Google?
This was my first ever time having anything to do with RSS - still don't quite understand how to use it for my own sites, but that's another thread for another day.
I just right clicked on the link in the first post here on this thread and selected "copy link location" and I pasted it into the RSS capsule and it seems to be working fine on the 2 hubs I submitted. That probably doesn't help much, but thought I'd let y'all know...hope you're able to figure out what the problem is.
Just published number 3:
http://hubpages.com/hub/did-my-cancer-save-my-moms-life
This one is the story of me and my mom, our cancer, and how the system failed us, yet saved us.
Here is number 5:
Nothing’s Wrong with You- Failure of Healthcare with Auto-Immune Disorders
http://hubpages.com/hub/Failure-of-Heal … -Disorders
I have worked my entire adult life in healthcare. An ugly truth emerged: When doctors don’t know what’s wrong with you, they conclude nothing is wrong with you. Through this short-sightedness, people with auto-immune and connective tissue disorders fall through the cracks.
Wow rmcrayne, #5 Awesome I want to learn to create hubs this fast. I agree, it is very important to listen to your body and to keep seeking professional help until you find a doctor that will listen and work with you to find out what is wrong. Unfortunately, insurance coverage at times dictates whether or not you get the necessary lab work and additional care required.
Also my apologies for not replying to your question about the rss. I have spent the last 2 days attempting to find this forum again. LOL! Isn't that just like a newbie doing everything except scrolling down on the page. LOL!
Money you can always find the current week's HubMob thread at the top of the Hubbers Hangout forum. You can also go to your Hubtivity.
My prolific-ness is limited I assure you. Princessa just happened to post a passion topic this week. I warned my family I would be neglect-ful of other things this week. I may be done, at least for hubs on this topic between now and Mon. I have one arthritis-related hub I need to finish before teaching an arthritis class thru community ed on Mon night.
Hey rmcrayne,
I just reviewed this hub and I noticed that one of your pictures has been blocked out. I had the same thing happen to me. I presumed it meant that HubPages did not approve of the picture I used so I replaced.
Can one of the experienced hubbers shed some light on why this happens? Are there guidelines somewhere on the do's and dont's of pictures?
Thanks Lily! I was doing "copy" for the HubMob link instead of "copy shortcut". I think I'm good now. Cross your fingers.
Fellow HubMobbers please consider voting for my hub, Children's Behavior- Sensory Regulation, A New Perspective, for HubNugget. My humble thanks.
dindong........
Hi friends,
I am able to write on hub on this health care hubmob weekly today:
Pain Management Procedure - Epidural Steroid Treatment and Side Effects
http://hubpages.com/hub/pain-management … de-effects
Please let me know how it is?
Hey no one commented and I have published my second hub on this topic: Here it is:
Pain Management Procedures - Intrathecal Pump Implant and Radiofrequency
http://hubpages.com/hub/Pain-management … ofrequency
Let me know how it is. Wanna know more about these procedures, leave a comment.
I sent you an email with some specific feedback.
As far as additional hubs I have some suggestions and didn't think to put it in the email.
I think there are procedures that are more commonly done and therefore hubs on them would have wider appeal.
Steroid injections are common for orthopedic issues (these injections are usually done by orthopedists) such as carpal tunnel, DeQuervain’s tenosynovitis (base of thumb), trigger finger or thumb, thumb CMC arthritis, lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), medial epicondylitis (golfer’s elbow).
Injections for shoulder and knee pain, particularly for arthritis, are not necessarily steroid injections.
Also consider the “cartilage” injections for the knees, such as synvisc. Prolotherapy is used for problems similar to steroid injections. It was not really done at my facility, but there is some decent evidence on it.
Thanks for nice review and feedback. I will look into these injections and create some hubs on them, actually these are some rare titles and keywords which have less competition in the search engines so may be they will rank higher. I will check out your specifics provided in the mail.
Is anyone still having trouble with the RSS Capsule? It appears to be working OK, but I know that a few of you HubMobsters have been having issues with it.
Per Lily Rose, I right clicked, and in my case chose "copy shortcut" instead of just "copy" or highlighting and copying.
Wow - that's probably the first time I actually helped someone here - it's usually me needing the help - LOL!
One for the HubMob about Healthy People 2020 and reducing healthcare costs as well:
The High Cost of Treating Violence & Abuse – It Never Ends
http://hubpages.com/t/d0021
20 hubs onthis topic so far... you still have the rest of the weekend to submit your hubs.
Are all the RSS feed issues resolved?
Good work Pricessa. Had a bit of a crises myself and felt guilty that I neglected your health care topic.
I will do my bit and create a hub for, free health care for children.
Hhhmmm Interesting, the one that is not showing for me is the very last one by the topic “What Now?” The top of the picture “Illness with an autoimmune or connective tissue"…
All I see is a blank space…
here is my hubmob for health care col suggestion Princessa! Thank you!
http://hubpages.com/hub/Drug-Resistance … Do-With-It
Good morning everyone
I see the picture ok rmcrayne (a little girl)
Money Glitch: sometimes that happens with pictures. I had that before in one of my hubs. I just deleted the photo and uploaded it again. That fix it for me. Anyone else having this problem?
Please do report any technical issues to the HubPages team, they will be more than happy to be informed of any "bugs" and they will try to fix it ASAP.
Have a great Sunday and keep you eyes peeled tomorrow to find out who was the most prolific hubmobster of the week and to find out the new topic for next week.
Have a look at the Health Care category page: http://hubpages.com/topics/health/health-care/2400
rmcrayne, Money Glitch, sony2006, Patty Inglish and Deborah-Lynn are all featuring on the front page with their HubMob Hubs... Way to go
Oh Wow, What an honor!
Thank you Princessa, and also thanks for the explanation about the picture. Really weird, I reloaded my picture once again and it shows and now I can see rmcrayne's little girl...Go figure!
Way to go everyone, the HubMob, Rocks!
Lily Rose did you include the RSS capsule in your HubMob #3? I saw it on #2, but not on #3. Also when I click on the RSS, it shows 20 total hubs for HubMob. It only shows your #1.
hmmm....I'll check now...
Okay - checked and apparently I forgot to add the RSS to #3 so I just did it. Don't know why #2 & #3 don't show up when you click on the RSS - I'm so not up to speed on what RSS is, so I'm not sure what you even mean by that...
Good job, everyone! I've updated the hub and will check back tomorrow to see if there were any others added.
Health Care HubMob
Rose Mary, you're going like a house on fire!
Here is my second Hub for this week's topic.

Am I too late to add this one to the HubMob?
Nope, you're not. I can add hubs after the topic changes, I just have to know that they're here.
All the hubs that came in at the end have now been added:
