You can get them at Aldi's!!

    Shirley Andersonposted 17 years ago

    What's Aldi's?  Is it a grocery store?

    1. gamergirl profile image90
gamergirlposted 17 years agoin reply to this

Yep!  It's a sort of discount store in the fact that they cut costs on things like plastic bags, fancy displays, tons of employees and carrying 802358071 name brands.  You could literally walk into an Aldi's and fill up a shopping cart for less than 100 bucks buying enough to feed two people for two weeks.

Oh, cool.  Wish we had one of those here.  I'm going to keep an eye out in our stores anyway, in hopes they carry those yummy looking delights.

Sorry haven't been around for a while.  Took me about 45 minutes to catch up from where I left off!  Are you guys speed typing or what?!!

Been consoling brother-in law and sister-in-law over death of one of their dogs.  Had to put her to sleep this morning.  Since they have no kids, their dogs were their children and they're taking it pretty hard.  Dolly was 12 years old and died of liver failure.  Makes me just hug my own Baby tighter and dread when that day will come for him.  We get so attached to our pets, don't we?

    I WIN!!

Oh, Shirley--about signing Compu-Smart's big pants----it would be much wiser to cut them up in pieces, sign each piece and have soooo many more of your winning signatures to sell to your waiting, hungry public.

I'm still going to try to win but---will promise to swing my vote to you in the event it really looks like a win for me is not likely.  Of course, if you want to persuade me some way (cough-huuuge box of Russell Stover Chocolate Covered Nuts-cough) something could be worked out now.

What do you say to that?  wink

    1. Shirley Anderson profile image74
Shirley Andersonposted 17 years agoin reply to this

I would say, "The Russell Stovers are in the mail!".  How many boxes you want?

Thx, Ruthie.  Also for the advice about Compu-Smart's big pants, I think that'$ a brilliant idea!

Steph, so sorry. I have a lot of problems with a stiff neck and shoulders.
I know this seems like an obvious suggestion, but I don't remember you mentioning Icy Hot or some other muscle cream. Sometimes it really helps if it is simply soreness and stiffness.

Also, I was having so many problems last winter that my daughter bought me a vibrating massage pillow that goes around my neck. I can use that thing for about half an hour and my pain and stiffness almost completely disappear. If you have a massage pad with strong vibrations, definitely try it.

      Hope you feel better soon.
