   I have Searched a few of you hubbers profiles names on Google images and some of you are not on the 1st page..Some of you have more than one pic, and some have there pic and other hubbers pics!!...
   
   
   Which other hubbers are on your page and how many pics are there of yours?

   LOL I just tried this for the first time! I had 3 (8,9 and 10) on the first page. The first 2 are for HP and the 3rd was for my personal website. Pretty cool! I do, however rate better by just a google search of my name. Unfortunately, my name is pretty common. Thanks for suggesting this as I had never tried it before!

   I'm not sure what you are doing--but I just put "robie2" into google search, thinking who else but me could come u p LOL--Well my profile on hubpages is 1 and one of my hubs is 2 on page one but then there is a jpg photo #2 for something called the robie house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and then there is somebody with a screen name of robie2 on a Latin dating site and also some car buff with the name robie2.-- find that kind of  interesting--dunno why.
   
     Is that what you are doing? and are you searching google images as well?

      It's probably because of "girl" being in your screen name.
      
      I get tons of pictures. My regular profile picture is on there several times. I also see most of the pictures that I've used in my hubs, as well.

   Oh silly me-- I just went back and read compu-smart's post--he said images(duh) so I searched my profile in images-- ok the first three were my profile pic on hubpages, #4 was a pic from one of my hubs and 5 was Livelonger's avatar from a forum post to me--then there are a whole bunch more photos from my hubs--hmmmmm think I have to go back and give them all new titles:)

    I am on page 4. There is some rotten tennis player using my name and photos of him all over the shop.

       Images from my Hubs were in 3rd and 4th spot, with a "more from hubpages" under the second one which took me to the images from almost every one of my Hubs.  I also had a couple of images from Amazon, of all places.

    It looks like gamegirls is the most exciting find so far lol..........Mark, I had a few words with the main man and your on page 3 now:)...Whitney05 looks like the biggest find here..very popular indeed;)...2patricias, im glad you found this as much fun and excitement as i did..I dont have to keep telling you all im easily pleased and have far too  much time on my hands at times!! lol....

    This is kind of freeky. My name is unusual so I'm on the first page but also as far as I can tell all the hubs I've left comments on and all the hubbers who's fan I'm and who is my fan are all pictured there...weird

       I think I read somewhere that once you have your name you're stuck with it as you can't transfer your existing hubs. But you can start a new account.

       I don't think you can, but you've only got 7 Hubs - so if you were to delete them and start a new account, you wouldn't have lost much.

    Three of my photos appear on the first page of image search, two of them from hubpages and one from blogspot.  Photos #4, 5, and 11.  But when I do a web search, there's this voice over talent with my name that appears multiple times.   I'm still on the first page though, no. 8.

    What fun!  My profile name comes up on results page 1 in slots #1, #2 and #3, but under the pix of others in Family Tree, Family History, and Hobbies.  However...<G>...I'm thrilled to learn I'm a Top Hubber in Family History!  Whoo hoo!

       Why worry about it?  As several people have said, whether your name shows up on search engines has absolutely NOTHING to do with your success.  You want people to find your articles on search engines - you really don't care whether they can find you by name! 
       
       Like I said, if it really bothers you, why not save your Hub text, delete your Hubs, start a new account with a more unique name and repost them.

          A name that would work under a gOOgle images search would be something like Britney Spears naked pictures lol, but im not sure if this would be allowed and there is no way i could or would  even think about tranfering all my hubs (340) to new name and as you mentioned its really about search engines...

             lol I don't think Britney Spears quite adds up for me anyway.  I am going to stick with drummer boy.  Beside's isn't it a good think it is popular, if I ever do get noticed then it would mean a lot of traffic right?

    Well, in the first 100 images there's two of me, one of my german shepherd when he was a pup, and a couple of images from sites I'm involved with.
    
    The rest of them are mainly people from hub pages, and images from hubs.
    
    Wow. when I've been here a bit longer, with a bit of luck, my face might not even make it into the first 200

       I just imaged searched your name and your 1st on the 1st page!!. I also can see the person in the picture with you much better than your profile  pic!
       
       Regards to choosing a name that would show up with popular search keywords would be good but its still a minefield of possible pros n cons!! at least i hope this knowledge will give people lots to think about before finally decideing on choosing or changing a profile  name!!

          Yeah, having a semi-famous tennis player named after you certainly doesn't help. I do have  4 of the first 10 references on a web search, but I am competing with a bunch of newspapers for the images

    Among the dumb things that I can't do, googling was one I leaned earlier in my short internet life. I started with my real name and my husband's name hoping to find some lost relatives... then my pen name when I first started my wordpress blog. What resulted in a discovery of 'blog scrapper', which I didn't know ever existed in my pre-scammer web worldview, keeps me in awe of google's power.
    
    It was just my playful curiosity that brought me to test Mighty Google, and stupidity turned to serendipity...that took me playing web detective until 4am. This accidental discovery had shaped the last 4 months of my blog life at wordpress. It's continuing to direct my blogging path until I could learn to do plugins that could probably protect me from these blog scrapers. It seems that blog scrapping was more profitable before it was known to many.
    
    I should say, I'm glad it also took me to HubPages as well as broadens my blogging views...even if I have to face many technological challenges that's driving me nuts.

    I would think you have had hits to your pages because people may have initially been searching for a this tennis player and (field hockey) player and ended up at your pages which is all good;)
