   come to the forums and write for your break.... does your work come in fits and starts with deadlines etc.... I cant even imagine having to write to a deadline... it is just a breeze to be able to write when the mood just takes you...

   In my time here (10 months - is that a long time or a brief while?) I've seen a LOT of people be active then fade into the background or disappear. Most who disappear do not announce their departure. They simply stop hubbing.
   I think HP is a living, breathing community that is anything but static.
   
   So, that said, this thread is evidence of a solid cadre of hubbers who are committed to participating. Hooray! Rather than being down or morose about people leaving, let's celebrate & enjoy each other's company. TGIF!
   
   BTW to Sufi -- Kaos is absolutely adorable. I would like to introduce him to my cat Gremlin sometime:-) MM

   My eldest is returning soon from Ukraine, and he wanted to bring along a really cute 6 month old cocker spaniel that he was taking care of as a volunteer at an animal shelter. Knowing that he is going to get busy in a job or pursuing higher studies very soon, and I'd be the sucker who will have to take care of him as also the one we already have, I've disuaded him.
   
   Wish I knew how to post a pic here, as others have done before me . I have some of that pup called Chester, and he is such a darling. And I am strongly tempted to call back the son and tell him, "WTF, get him along ..." but am holding myself back from doing that.

    I agree with you too MM. And I read somewhere that sometimes people stay addicted not to the pleasure derived from er a substance (in this case hubbing) but to stave off the pain of withdrawal
