  From the public record of damning evidence, we know of at least one count of conspiracy / collusion, the Trump Tower Meeting where pig pile Steve Bannon said there's no way the orange one didn't know about the plot. We know of at least one count of obstruction of justice when Spanky confessed to firing Comey because of Russia on national television and we know of at least one count of emoluments clause violations and perhaps one count of treason.
  
  Who knows what else aside from the obvious the FBI's monumentally important raid of Michael Cohen's office, home and as reported hotel room will bring in the form of evidence. Looks like we might get closer to answers regarding another of the Trump cover ups.
  
  As I watched Trump's pathetic incoherent self indulgent babbling in utter disgust yesterday, crying and blubbering in front of the entire world as he disrespected our men and women in law enforcement, I'm still astonished to think that there are still some lost souls out there who used to be Christians of sound mind, that actually still listen to this serial liar. The only obstruction is from Trump. When he fired Comey and admitted doing it because of the investigation, that was the same crime that got Nixon impeached.

Mueller may have served during Obama's term, but he is a Republican, appointed by a Republican president as FBI Director, and re-appointed as special counsel by another Republican (Rosenstein). An when it comes down to believing a decorated war veteran and civil servant like Mueller or a compulsive liar like Trump, most intelligent Americans are going with Mueller.

The circus is the amount of brainwashed Trump supporters who believe there's some mysterious deep state even though the folks at Cambridge Analytica admitted coining the term with Steve Bannon in 2014 to help get impressionable Americans to back an anti-establishment candidate.

Bye Bye Michael Cohen, Bye Bye Mr. Trump. The world will celebrate for eternity when you're gone.

God knows, although I make Spanky Trump look like a retarded racist imbecile, I'm certainly not the most intelligent individual on this ailing planet, but from the very beginning of this epic unimaginable white house scandal between Stormy and her 'John' Donald, I knew something was very odd when Michael Cohen reportedly said he used money from a home equity line of credit to pay off Stormy's Beverly Hills attorney. It just sounded very strange to me, didn't make any sense.

Now, as I watched Anderson Cooper and Lawrence O'Donnell last evening, law expert Preet Bharara informed the public that if Mr. Cohen failed to disclose the true purpose of his mortgage on the loan docs, which was apparently to pay off a porn actress, he's guilty of bank fraud and if communications exist between he and his lovely client Mr. Trump, it could be considered another count of conspiracy for the dumpster.

Why does arrogant sicko Donald believe he can keep breaking the law and keep getting away with it???? Baffling.

I too think moral character is important, but I don't know where you're going to find anyone like that.

I see this as an argument for a miniscule government with almost no power. People being what they are, none should have power over others, beyond what is absolutely necessary for the protection of persons and property and for the defense of borders. In other words, for Constitutionally established purposes.

Spanky Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen paid Stormy $130,000, American Media Paid Karen McDougal $150,000, and now, we 're getting more stunning reports that a doorman was paid $30,000 apparently to keep his or her mouth shut. Is the purpose of that home equity line of credit becoming clearer?

Manifort has no family so he might take a hit and go to prison for life for Mr. Trump, but will Mr. Cohen leave his wife and children behind in an emotional struggle just to appease an orange faced betrayer who already threw him under a bus at least 5 times so far?

  I personally like Melania. She's an intelligent woman who has managed to remain dignified while sharing a life with a most undignified, disgusting man. I don't reel sorry for her, though, as I can't imagine she didn't know what kind of man Trump was when she married him and she probably figured the money would be worth it. {{{{{shudder}}}} I do feel bad for Barron, though, growing up with that horrible role model for a dad. I hope Melania is able to mitigate the damage and Barron grows up to be a good person.

Reportedly, it looks like Michael Cohen, Spanky's personal lawyer might not have been practicing law at all, a judge in New York gave him until Monday to provide a list of his clients when his dopey attorney apparently failed to identify even one of Mr. Cohen's clients the first time around. So, is he a lawyer or not and why on Earth doesn't his close associate Mr. Trump use E*Mail in the age of technology?

What's he trying to hide by communicating by pigeon, or courier or dog sled? Spanky not communicating by E*Mail is almost as suspicious as his lawyer Michael Cohen apparently using a home equity line of credit to pay off porn actresses. Just for potential financial crimes, Cohen faces essentially a life term in prison, will he really forfeit his freedom, walking around the Big Apple just to protect Spanky who could care less about him or his family?   Trump brought out all the hatred, racism and other ugly emotions in the American people, and it makes me ashamed how we look to the world. Katy Tur, a reporter who traveled with the Trump group during the campaign, wrote a great book about it, called Unbelievable. She says shocking things in it. That middle and upper class women in fur coats and diamond earrings who attended the rallies were actually spitting at the reporters. Trump made disgusting behavior like that OK. He gets low information voters at these events, and has to keep having rallies to stay relevant.
  
  It's Fox and Friends who are delusional, at least MSNBC is based in facts, only Chris Matthews gives an opinion at the end of his show--and admits it's his own opinion. Most of you don't have the attention span to listen to how long some of his money laundering and other antics go back. Hannity is all opinion based. Tucker is lazy and gets people so far to the left that they are flat out crazy, then insults them.
  
  Trump is unqualified to be President, and his cabinet's musical chairs game is making it too hard for him to learn anything about running a country.   I thought it was just me. When the FBI, State prosecutors, Assistant Attorney General and others get involved, you can't call it fake.

  Stop closing down all the Planned Parenthoods, who help pay for birth control, pap smears, and mammographies. Abortions are never done at Planned Parenthood, contrary to what uneducated people think. They are done in clinics or hospitals. It's people like you who force young girls or boys to be unable to get birth control, usually because you are religious nuts and won't admit normal young people have sex. So the young girl aborts the child with a coat hanger and dies. I'm so sick of this. Roe v Wade will never be overturned, and I've been a big supporter of Planned Parenthood all my adult life.

  Diane, Good article. I have my reservations about this man as I am sure you do. Although I do feel he acted quickly to help the people of Flint. I live in Michigan, and have followed the Flint water crisis closely. It has more shady crooks than " one can shake a stick at". These people were put on a back burner for over three years, and literally had no help from local or Federal Government. The city still has pipes that need replacement, but are well on the way to having clean water. Is it due to the new administration? It appears to be. The money was quick to come withing a month after Pruitt took office. I also attended a Trump rally here he promised to make the Flint water crisis a priority if he won.Little to nothing was being done until he took office.The citizen's were receiving bottled water and filters.

  Jake, I fully realize there is an investigation being conducted. I am also very aware it is not over, and there has been nothing of a report on the findings. This is fact. I just don't buy into speculation especially when the office of the Mueller investigation have at this point over the past three months put out statements that media has and continues to give inaccurate reports. I choose to wait until there is a finale report. As I did with the presidential election. I did not predict a winner, as you did.... I did not have to look ridiculous for predicting an outcome. I did not have to come up with conspiracies. I will not look foolish at the end of the Mueller investigation. Because I unlike you do not want to look or feel foolish. I deal in pure facts, it just saves me form look foolish... I note you still have not answered my question. What if there is no there there when Mueller hands down his report? Will you admit you were wrong or will you move on to a new rant while you once again have come out on the short end of the stick?

  Did I miss a media report of Cohen being charged with "violations of campaign laws"? or are you referring to another 'IF COME"? And last I heard no one has been able to read or listen to what the FBI agents collected ?

His court appearance the other day was brought about by him... By the way do you ever consider all investigations that are being conducted into the democratic partys crooked backdoor BS. A few things first. It's Valeant. Second...it's Democrats. Third...you spell 'opportunity' this way. If we're talking about looking foolish, let's start by taking the time to articulate your attacks on the liberals properly.

Yes, you did miss a media report as to why the FBI had credible cause to search and seize Cohen's offices, home, and hotel. Bank fraud, wire fraud, and campaign finance violations were listed on the warrant. That's a reality if you'd care to do a simple google search and read any number of sources that confirm those facts.

Do I make an assumption of guilt based on what I've witnessed in this case in regards to the laws? Yup, in the same way Trump hasn't been found guilty of Obstruction of Justice, but I can come to a conclusion because he's admitted as much on at least two separate occasions, with a third by twitter recently falling into the same category. The same way I know OJ did it. The same way I believe the Clinton Foundation was shady as hell and should also be investigated. To get that kind of warrant for an attorney, especially the attorney of the President of the United States, the evidence must have been damning. You don't risk it unless you've got him for sure, that's just some true common sense.

You ask why not deal in facts, then immediately after ask me to weigh in on a hypothetical question. Which do you want, factual arguments or hypothetical guesses to how someone may react to something that may or may not happen? And like Jake, I think Mueller will easily find something, at least the Obstruction of Justice charge, because it's painfully obvious to all who don't buy into the 'Trump is a Boy Scout' theory.

Yes Governor Snyder did make an announcement about a week ago that the water was "safe" and that the bottled water program would end when the current supply ran out. he also stated filters would still be available to citizens of Flint a well as very close monitoring of the water. The replacement of the pipes in Flint has just about been completed. However, it would certainly of been more sensible to wait until every pipe was replaced. This would work to give the people of Flint more piece of mind. The Flint water crisis was a disgrace... And most likely the citizens of Flint will never completely get over it. It would not have hurt to continue the water supply until the people felt safe. The majority do not feel safe using the water. So sad that this kind of crisis could happen with all of our technology, what was worse, many new about it, and did nothing.

Still no evidence connecting President Trump to any crime... Actually Cohen has not had his day in court either? However, if he is found guilty of anything, I am sure he will be pardoned... Jake, Spanky said Cohen only handled a tiny fraction of his legal work. According to those who should know this is correct, but unfortunately he was a "fixer" who handled the many scandals and underhanded business deals such as seeking to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. Spanky keeps changing his story re his relationship with Cohen as he usually does to those being investigated around him.
