It is Astrology, which as DevLin said, relates to the distance between the stars, moon, and planets, and how their existance and energy effects us. Simirlar to the Chinese Zodiac, which they have the year of the Rat, Dragon, and so on.
In the Western zodiac I'm a Capricorn with Leo rising, and my moon is exalted in Taurus. I have Saturn, Jupiter, and Pluto in Libra; Uranus in Scorpio; Neptune in Sagittarius; Venus in Capricorn; and Mercury and Mars in Aquarius.
My son is a Libra and I know what you mean..though he can make decisions faster than most Libras.. When it comes to spending money he doesn't seem to have that problem..He likes the finer/finest things in life.
Ditto Decisions decisions, not enough days in the year to wait for me to make a decision. Good thing I'm not like, The President or something. I mean this country would go nowhere, nothing would change...
one thing about Libra, they take their time deciding on something, but that is because they weigh every single part of it to make sure they are making the right decision and once made, they stick to their resolve.
Gemini (me) also struggles with making decisions because we see all sides and angles, but unlike Libra (and speaking only for myself here), after making a decision a tiny part of Gemini wonders if it was the right one. but we do not regret decisions once we make them.
Horses are extremely intelligent so they’re able to grasp new subjects with ease. They’re also capable of multi-tasking however they don’t always finish what they start because they’re forever chasing the next opportunity. Horses are honest, friendly and open-minded. They’re perhaps a bit too centered on themselves and have been known to throw tantrums when situations don’t go their way.
also.... Occupying the 7th position on the Chinese Zodiac, the Horse symbolizes such character traits as strength, energy, and an outgoing nature. Extremely animated, Horses thrive when they’re the center of attention. Always in search of a good time, Horses keep the crowds happy with their humor and their wit.
Occupying the 2nd position on the Chinese Zodiac, Oxen possess such character traits as dependability, strength and determination. Oxen are tolerant individuals who believe that the road to success involves hard work and scrupulous behavior; they don’t believe in taking shortcuts. They characterize those who don’t work hard as lazy individuals not worthy of respect.Oxen are capable of trusting others and will listen to their opinions with an open mind. However, Oxen prefer making decisions that are based on their own research. Oxen favor strong, life-long alliances to casual acquaintances. Home is where Oxen go to seek comfort, occasionally watching television or reading. They prefer the rural outdoors and spend the majority of their “home” time working in the garden or caring for the yard.
Very sorry to hear about your brother. You're far too young for a loss like that, as of course he must have been as well.
Of course he wasn't an airhead, but aquarians tend to be dreamy cerebrals, wrapped up in concepts and ideas. I'd guess he was a great sounding board for people close to him. Either way I'm sure it was a great loss for you, and you certainly have my sincere sympathy on that one.
Thank you, I appreciate it..I have lost a baby, brother, mom and dad....but I'm not as young as most people think..but that's a compliment so I'll take it...
My mom was a Pisces with many houses occupied by Aquarius..I was also very close to her..so I usually love Aquarius people along with the water sign folks...A lot of people think Aquarius is a water sign because the icon is pouring out water...
Oh jeez. I'm sorry Deborah and Pandora...I didn't see these posts before I posted my silliness.
I'm sorry to hear about all of your losses; it appears that you have both gone through quite a lot of tragedy. However, it also appears that it has helped temper you both into strong, passionate, and intelligent individuals. You both appear to have done an amazing job surviving such heartbreak.
Oh that's not necessary Glass, perhaps we should apologize for bringing the thread down! Thanks for your kindness, though. You're right, we (I) need to give more of it, and more understanding, and more patience as well. Thanks for the reminder!
Does everything having to do with your birth mean something?
I was just looking at my birth certificate, I was born at 6:06:06am on November 18 (6+6+6=18), six weeks early??? I was born six years after she and my dad married,, after 6 hours of labor. I was allowed home after 6 days in the hospital. She was 26. Hmmmm? Wonder if that means something? Maybe my lucky number should be 6?
Im an aquarius sun, leo cusp cancer moon (more leo, I think).
In the whole of my star chart, I have no water. Its funny that all my successful relationships have been mostly water in their star chart. It is as if I need another to make me whole. Funny that! ****************************** You are drawn to them to complete yourself as you stated.
The 13th zodiac sign, Ophiuchus is now incorporated, again, on the Daily Horoscope. Its exclusion during the Babylonian era was because of its number connotation as unlucky one. The seeker of peace, it is located at the...
