   aguasilver and I were talking about avatars in another thread.
   I thought it would be interesting to find out why Hubbers have chosen their specific avatars.
   I know those change a lot.  But was wondering if anyone else wants to share what particular relevance their favorite personal avatar has?
   
   I had my picture there for a while.  Figured people might be tired of lookin' at my mug.  haha shut UP Randy! 
   Changed it to a former avatar I'd used elsewhere.
   I had placed the line "Looking Always to The Cross" under it, but couldn't figure out how to put it under the avatar on this site.
   
   That's my story.  Self-explanatory.

      Mine is me.. always will be. if i ever wake up and dont like me. i go back to bed and try again the next day! but I love me. I am what God made me.... God and situps, crunches, running, and dancing..... lots of dancing....

      I'm sorry!  I hadn't seen all the other avatar threads, or else forgot about having seen any.    I even tried searching the site for "avatar" to see if I could find threads on it already.   Guess I can just go read those you listed!

   I just joined a few days ago, so all the hub stuff is new to me. When I made my profile I just went to Google Images and searched for a picture that I thought represented what my username meant.

       Yes one must be relaxed while waiting for Ken to come to bed LMAO.
       
       For those of you who don't know Isis had a boyfriend Hugh Jass who patented a robotic helicopter. He was quite a man. She finds it hard to wake up in the morning whilst nuturing her broken heart, hence she only changes out of her dressing gown when going downtown to buy potatoes.

    Mine is just me, one of pictures that I happen to like ( I don't like many of them!!)

    I got my username from a username generator thing and liked it as soon as I saw it. The avatar is from some creative google searching. It is appropriate as I can jump high and frequent the gym :-)

    I had Victoria Frances "Red Basque" for my avatar because my daughters both said it looked very much like a picture they had seen of me that was taken by my first husband, who used to dress me up in costumes and lingerie and photograph me.  But I took it out and replaced it with a pic of myself. I felt that I had already bared so much of my soul and put so much of my life story into my hubs and poems, what difference did it make if people saw the real me.

    I'm a Canadian, as many of you know.  I have many friends who are serving overseas and always think of them.  I've lost a few friends too.  Today, my avatar is my way of paying homage to the men and women who have served our country and given their lives to protect others, maintain freedom and peace.  They are the unsung heroes in my eyes.  May they rest in peace.

    my avatar was the closest i could get it to a real photograph of myself. since i have no webcam i wanted to provide all of you with a picture. the only problem is i couldn't figure out how to add the additional 100 lbs. or all of the acne. so just picture that on my avatar and you will have a very good idea as to what i look like. lol

    Mine is a farmer dude...and his good ol'faithful red tractor. I originally had a pic of me on here...but then one day I stumbled on a pic of an ol' country boy content with the world...while on his tractor out on the farm...that's who I could see myself as in the future. (Now...The ol' red tractor has people sending it fan mail!) It's as close as I get to thinking I'm out in the country...'Cause for now I'm just doing the working and writing thing in the big city..."H"-town...Houston, Texas...that is!
