Has anyone made $100? I know with hubpages alone I probably havent made more than $5 a day. However I have made about $60 on my best day with a variety of sites. Now I earn anywhere between $8-$17 a day, but most of this is not through hubpages.
I have to say the most I have made is $3.07 in one day, but I am starting to work up that ladder so I would say in about 3 or 4 months I should reach about $5 - $6 dollars per day, or at least that is my goal.
The most I've ever made was over $40, and it was about 4 years ago, long before I even knew about Hubpages. Rates were generally higher back then, as the economy had yet to collapse and advertising budgets were fat.
Well, besides which, the fine print said that you only get PAID after you reach $100 worth of 'earnings.' PAH! At the rate I earned, I'd be long dead before I got any check. A penny after 4 months????? Puulllleeeese!
oh i see... you dont use google adsense here? With all those writtings you should.. Its some money anyhow...Its worth it if your going to write... I mean most of my writtings suck but there making something... lol
Even though creative writing doesn't earn much, it does seem silly not to use your Adsense account if you've got one.
It will only take a few minutes to set up and you never know, you might be surprised. What's the harm?
I do very little promotion on my Hubs and I still make money from them. That's the beauty of HubPages compared to your own blog - Hubs get traffic all by themselves, thanks to the high reputation of the whole site. Though it can take several months for them to take off.
I know I'd probably earn more if I did some promotion. The most I've earned in a day is $15.
@ DzyMsLizzy I am sure that's not the case. If you ever post to a social bookmarking site you are essentially backlinking
@Marisa Yeah, I agree, adsense set up is relatively easy and worth it if you plan to write a lot on hubpages. Might as well have fun (if that's what you're on hubpages for) and possibly make some coin while you're at it.
Hubpages have pretty good authority with search engines- you usually get your hubs indexed by google within a few hour from posting-especially if you do a quick promotion on any of the "share" options
@John Alan I see--thanks for that. So...if I had previously set up Ad Sense on my Blogger account, do I use the same ID here, where it says, "Your ads are currently serving with publisher ID # xxxxxx" ???
Hmm..ok, I tried it, using the 'link existing accounts' thingee here on HP, and after filling out all the fields and clicked "Link My Accounts" .. absolutely NOTHING happened!
No confirmation page, nothing. Earlier, I was having problems with it telling me I had an error in matching the phone number, so I went and checked it from my original sign-up site, and no, there was no error made, so there was an error in the processing software someplace.
Since nothing has 'confirmed' yet, I still don't know whether or not it worked. It's been a frustrating day.
It is the same AdSense account. I started on AdSense through blogspot. com, in 2 years I made a whopping $1.74, I didn't really think to makr much money, and I didn't (LOL), but since coming to HubPages, and using the Affiliate ID (up on the Right Hand corner of the AdSense Reports page, I am raking in about 9.00 per week! That is a major increase. I am working very hard, but HP has tools laying around all over the place, and I am using them. There is still some stuff I get "deer-in-the-headlights" over, but it is working!!!
It took me nearly 18 months to reach a payout, but now I get a payout most months of around £60 GBP or $100 USD. Don't lose heart, the payouts do come eventually even if non-existent at the start. Even if you check your earnings day by day in the early months you will probably see no income at all, but as time goes on your hubs creep up the search engines and begin to earn you money, so keep going, it takes time.
Hello hubbers! Please help me as I am new and having a heck of a time figuring out what to do w/ this code here- paste this there....ugggh. I just enjoy writing what I love about or personal life lessons I have. But if I can make a little pocket change that is fine too. Please direct me to a place where I can figure out the ins and outs of setting all this up in NON computer techno talk..... Thanks everyone.
I made $1.46 today. That was an accomplishment for me not much but it's something.. I am working on backlinking and interlinking my articles. It is going to be some work but I am up for it. I am working on 10 to 15 articles this week, so let's see how that turn out..
Eighty something - I'd have to go look it up. I don't think I have seen $50 this year, but lately it's been bumping against $40 regularly. That's a big improvement over the past two years where it dove into the low twenties.
I just started at hubpages, so the best here Is $2 and change. We'll see what happens.
I have just exceeded $50 from Amazon this month for the first time, last month it was $48.... I should end the month somewhere around $70. My first target is $100 per month, but with the unpublished hubs that I have lined up... I would be disappointed to not achieve $200 per month by the end of this year.
Ryan you are doing super. I have made around $13 from Amazon this month. Its just a pity we didnt get a higher share of the sale. You have some fabulous hubs so I am sure you will hit $200 a month if not more by the end of the year.
Nothing until that point, since my hubbers' score is under 75 since I joined HP. And in fact I think the best is if you do not write for the reason to make money, you just write to give new and useful info to other people. If somebody only writes for the money it not to good in my opinion.
Since the last few Days my Daily Google Visits have gone well over 100 a day and my clicks up to about 14 a day.. I am aiming to earn an extra $20 on top of the threshold before my first payment in progress next weekend
Hey all. I am new to hubpages but I am loving the community so far! I have not made one penny so far, but today I started my Google Adsense account and have total earnings of 11 dollars. By the way I just published my first hub about Google Adsense if one would like to read.
$97 and that was a one off....I often make around $35 a day and a tiny percentage of that is with Hubpages....but with more time to put into my backlinking strategies I hope to increase my earnings.....
2 weeks in and 13 hubs and I've made $2.95 on my best day! I'm actually totally surprised. I guess I got lucky. Now I'm trying to write at least 3 good, informative hubs a day to increase page views and clicks. It's still not about the money though, but that is a nice benefit!
$7.35 , but it's not yet consistent. My average so far is a dollar a day, trying to push it to $3.33 so I can get a hundred (that will pay my electricity and internet and phone bills) I guess I just have to create 200 hubs more to compensate for my poor backlinking strategies...
Basically, I mean that us hubbers put countless hours of work into writing one quality hub after another which in turn increases hubpages revenue, which allows them to enjoy the fruits of its writers dedication and labor. I know writing on hubpages is presented to us like hubpages is doing all us...
I have the following message on my Google Adsense account. How can I create an ads.txt file for hubpages.com when I don't control this site? Is this something HubPages will take care of?---------------------------------------------------The message from Adsense:Create an ads.txt file for 1...
I never earn very much on Adsense, so I'm extremely excited. I have 10 hubs on there, plus a blog. The entire $5.08 was from one of my hubs; to date, this hub has earned $24.02 (it's been up for a few months).Just wanted to share my progress, because I know how discouraging it can be to...
I can't believe how long it took me to get that last .12 cents I needed, but this morning it finally happened and I am now a little over $100.00.I have been here almost 9 months and was hoping to reach the pay out threshold in 10 months, so I guess I am a month ahead of schedule.I look forward to...
