PLEASE do not recommend yourself, because I am sure you will not get anyone that way.
Right now I am currently following 0 people! I am really slacking and embarassed, not sure why I am shy to follow people. But I am about to start. I've came close, but haven't pulled the string yet.
Give your recommendation(s) of your absolute favorite hubber(s).
Fintan Harvey - a very witty Irishman with a keen sense of pub reality - "The Total Sobriety Chronicles" Parts 1 through 8
aesmith2009 - I particularly like "I'm Black and I'm Proud" (it was not what I expected

Are all people I have found useful
hey thanks for the shout out, richie. I appreciate that. your definitely on my list too along with many others.
here's a list of some of my favorites hubbers
and many others. to put it simply, anyone that follows me and the ones that i follow are among some of my favorite hubbers.
I'll recommend a few, for different reasons
No particular order ...
drbj - for her loyalty to all those that she follows. The quality of her hubs are equal to her loyalty
Darkside - he says what he means and means what he says. Not a mincer of words but a definite fount of information and good, sound advice.
Mark Knowles - much maligned and yet undoubtedly an incredibly helpful man for those that need or ask for it.
Relache - a testament to simply 'getting on with it' - and being successful. And all without blowing her own trumpet.
Sunforged - the man is just so damn tenacious, giving and hardworking. The 60DC says it all.
Sufidreamer - an all round decent guy that's a wealth of info when it comes to freelancing. He shares it too.
Ryankett - I like ambition, more so when it's channelled (sp) progressively, successfuly and with real grit.
Cagsil - all-round bloody good egg and forum friend to all.
SusanaS - a lovely woman that's worked hard to achieve what she has in a short space of time.
Now, if any of you remain unaware of any of the above, go get acquainted
Thanks, I am just learning some of the people. I don't really know any names yet, I'll get a list together soon.
1. Nelle Hoxie
I could go on and on, but this is a good start...

James A Watkins
Mike, once you start reading hubs you'll know what hubs and which hubbers you're interested in on HP.That way it becomes easy.
I agree. You can also get a clue from forum posts. Not that I disagree with recommendations, just that you need a bit more than someones say-so.
I think one of the fun parts of HubPages is discovering the writers you want to follow... from reading hubs on different topics, hubs in the news feed, someone you meet in the forum, some of your own followers.
we all follow different writers for different reasons.
my favorites change every day.. there are so many, too many to list. I do know the hubber that helped me the most in learning how to hub and he's already been mentioned a few times.
follow because you want to. no reason to be shy. enjoy.
I'm afraid I will forget someone. Doster, thanks for the nod, and you are a super writer, too.Truthfully EVERYONE I follow is followed because I like their writingfor different reasons. Some write in blog style, some write poems, Quill has fireside chats,Some are techy savvy, ediann writes about autism, some writers like lmartin(or is it lmmartin?) in AP reporter style, some like zsusyb write tutorials such as sewing, and I follow some like moneyglitch, liljen, and mailexpress to learn sales promos from them.RNMSM is a nurse and writes from her experience. RevLady, coffesnob, skye2day are female ministers and write from the heart. Cleanlife writes about alcoholism. Wayne Brown..OMG..you just have to see Wayne for yourself!there is an awesome hubber who needs to get of his..and write some more!NGoes by the name of 50caliber (He's a frugal loner out in Arizona)
Forums- If you need help for me it would have to be cagsil, wrylilt, and the aussies who are on late at night when I need help the most! Probably some more I'm forgetting..Lisa,
My personal recommendations would be as follows:
1) SognoPiccolo - just because her style rocks and she's my best friend.
2) nlaile - she's brand new! I talked her into signing up and so far she shows a lot of promise. (And she's my best friend, too).
3) Christoph Reilly - he cracks me up and writes super awesome stuff.
4) lorlie6 - absolute sweetheart.
5) Frieda Babbley - inspirational, creative, helpful, and a balm to the book lover's soul.
6) Elena. - inspirational, beautiful, and her letters really speak to me.
7) Misha, Mark Knowles, Ryankett, and Sunforged -- all are great if you want very well-written knowledge on all things making money. Their participation in the forums are top-notch.
8) ralwus - just because he is hilarious in the forums, and he confuses me in his hubs.
Here are a few of mine...
Ken R Abell
...all of them great Hubbers.
Hey Brian Larasmama is my old account that I don't use anymore. Haha you mentioned me twice. Guess I can't complain!
Definitely Darkside for all the beginner stuff in SIMPLE language.
Edweirdo for good information on things like RSS feeds.
Pcunix - for a COMPLETELY different outlook on writing online (he's been doing it since the 90s and doesn't believe in promotion, just in writing quality content that sells itself.)
Peter Hogan - he's written an SEO guide just for hubbers!
Marisa Wright - for information about both the basics as well as things like correct use of photos with copyrights and building your own sites.
Thisisoli - has his own freelance article site, works from home and is an all round great guy.
Ryankett - that guy just doesn't stop hubbing!
Kangaroo_Jase - to lighten up your day if you need a laugh after too much seo reading. (Great guide on preparing for the invasion of aliens, for a start!)
There are many more I haven't mentioned - sorry! There are just SO many great hubbers, it's hard to keep track.
Bard of Ely
and for a very different view on life look up Arthur Windermere!
Shadesbreath , sorry you two!!
Bard of Ely
Ken R. Abell
Anna Marie Bowman (she's awesome!)
there are many, many more and I couldn't possibly list all of them.
Enjoy reading and discovering the multitude of talented writers here.
kimberlyslyrics (an absolute must)
Hi Kim, hi Beth
Since there's no reason to keep repeating the same names, I'll name a few I don't see listed yet.
wow thankyou lifeallstar1, the first time anyone has given me praise in the forums-thumbs up to you.
Aevans, Paul Edmondson, Misha, Darkside, frog dropping, bad company(Not seen lately) and few more....
Lifeallstar1, thanks for the shoutout.
This is very tough as I am afraid I'll leave someone out.
Shadesbreath is a must.
Christoph Reilly is great.
If I could think of them all, there would be at least 100.
Everyday I read more articles written by great writers. There are so many to list! I'll just keep adding on ....
DjBryle (bring a moon pie and some milk!!!)
Timorous (always a smile to be had)
Thanks so much Beth! I only saw this post right now... but I still have moon pies and milk!
I recommend you too, Beth100

James A. Watkins
... and will be adding more later after I put my family to bed... lol!
See you around!
...here are more hubbers that I love to recommend:
Leticia C. Malicdem
... and much much more. You will definitely meet more wonderful hubbers as you explore the world of HP. As for me, this is a place where I found people who appreciated my writings despite the flaws, and help me improve. Along the way I will meet more of these good hubbers who don't only posses good writing skills but also has the ability to share priceless friendships. Enjoy!
I do not go in for these sort of things as a rule. It is too easy to offend a fellow Hubber without even trying lately.
But, rules exist to be broken.
I follow quite a few Hubbers, and they are all great writers on many varied topics.
I would recommend:
Lady Guinivere (sorry about spelling)
These are not the only Hubbers that I read/follow, and, as I said, there are more great writers here than you can slap with a dead fish.
Here are just a few of my favorites, though the whole list of great writers here is much longer.
Tom Whitworth: http://hubpages.com/profile/Tom+Whitworth
American Tiger: http://hubpages.com/profile/American+Tiger
I recommend Marisa Wright for being very helpful and an excellent writer!
Too many great hubbers... I'm choosing to link to my favorite hubber that not many people know about because she never comes into the forums. I get really excited when she publishes a new hub because she's SO funny.
The pillar of our community and example of unconditional support here
mightier than mighty mom
Kids-toy-box is a new hubber, Welcome!
If his hub on the Berlin Festival of Lights is any indication, he is going to be a great hubber,

If HubPages ever has a focus group of selected hubbers I would love to be a part of it. They could do some regional focus groups (maybe start in Chicago for me) and really get some great input from a hubber's perspective on tweaks. I think HubPages is awesome. I was attracted to it by its clean...

Strange (or maybe silly) question - Is there an etiquette about asking another hubber, whose writing you respect and whose input you find valuable, to follow you? I don't want to seem like a stalker, but there are a couple of hubbers I follow who do not follow me back, and I wish they would -...

What's your criteria of following a hubber?
by Vinaya Ghimire 7 years ago
What are your reasons for unfollowing a hubber?I went to the list of hubbers I follow, and I found out that many are not active on hubpages. I unfollowed everyone who has not published anything in the last 4 months. I also unfollowed the hubbers who do not comment on my hubs.
