All My Best,

Just read your hub and you did a very nice job. Thank you!
My first entry to the contest of poetry
http://asmaiftikhar.hubpages.com/hub/A- … e-patience
I've come to place another poem at the feet of the all-powerful gods of HubPages. May it be received well from this Temple Forum, built by Simone.
I pray for gentle rains upon my crops, plentiful fish and game upon my table, and mercy upon my soul. . . oh, and that prize stuff, that would be pretty cool too.
This may be my last entry. Though now, with time becoming short, I can't seem to shut my muse up.
For those of you who've looked at my other postings, well, this one is a wee bit darker.

I think this is my final poem for the contest, unless my muse demands otherwise. You just never know what a muse will do.

Always be alert - it will muse you when you least expect it!
The beautiful Willow tree - weeping from the heart is a wonderful analogy of you, yourself. I loved it!

My second entry, this time in the nonsense poetry section entitled:Temporal Anomaly in the Poet's Space Time Continuum (it's a tad naughty, no profanity, but some adult references, so if you are easily offended... avoid). Thanks for reading.

I haven’t posted any entries for a while, because I’ve been busy with Nanowrimo. So this entry is dedicated to everyone else who is mad enough to be doing both Nano and the Patron of the Arts contest. I’m not expecting it to win any prizes but it might give the more frazzled of you a smile or two.

One more for the contest - photos and poems on Frost
Walkin' in my Winter Wonderland: Frost Poems and Pictures
My, but there's some wonderful work here! So much to read and see!
This was intended to be a photo submission, but writing the narrative about the meaning of Christmas to, and the lovely customs that the locals have of the Amalfi Coast, Italy where one year I spent it with friends who live there, somewhere along the way it became a short story instead, so I've used only some of the photos. I hope you enjoy.
http://ercolano.hubpages.com/hub/Natale … hort-story
Probably my last poetry submission for the contest. My muse may be dried up for a while. :-) Good luck, everyone!
http://victorialynn.hubpages.com/hub/Po … d-It-Be-Me
ercolano what a beautiful place to spend a Christmas. The pictures are wonderful, I sure wouldn't want to be that pig going to slaughter to decorate the head table:-) You look like your having a fun time, lots of smiles and laughter I'm sure. Italy, Spain and France is on my bucket list. My Mentor and now my Muse lived in Italy for 17 years and worked for one of the Duke's of Bronte, he managed the vineyards and rode it mostly by horseback, this was back in 1940's. He was a Brit from London who went to Italy when he was 19, learned Italian fluently, he often sat with me in his den in Montreal. We would share a glass or two of Muscatel and a smoke a cigarallio. He told me he was often the only Mr at the dining room table. He sat and dined with the Duke and Lords who visited the maniachee, excuse the spelling. My Mentor was a scholar, speaking of curse British, French and Italian fluently. His mother was from Lauzanne and his father was a Brit, thus why he learned French as his mother spoke it often and his father was all fluent in French as he frequented France often with his work as an engineer. So my friend my heart skipped a beat or two when reading this delightful hub. Thank you for the wonderful share.
Thank you Saddlerider1, how interesting, quite the muse, wouldn't mind sitting round that table with a glass of brandy, I love aristocracy, those I've met (while living on Lake Garda once (and have to see where I put those photos) wonderfully eccentric. Thanks for the kind comments, I'm putting up the real pictures of the area in the next little while for a photo entry. Trying NOT to get too sidetracked by writing a story about them though!
So here it is the photo entry of Capri, Positano of Under the Tuscan Sun fame and Amalfi. I hope you enjoy.

Just submitted my first post.
Creating Custom Art with Landscape and Nature Photography
http://applecsmith.hubpages.com/hub/Cre … hotography
When I started, I never thought it would end up with a poem, but it certainly did!
The composition carries memories, and the poem reflects the contrast of the natural desire to enjoy the nature as a part of it, and the monetized, restless, modern society.Hope you enjoy.Thank you

Forgot to post this one last night. It is a short story titled, "Denial in the First Degree http://happyboomernurse.hubpages.com/hu … rst-Degree
Synopsis: Margaret Black tries to help her niece start a new life after drug rehab but her own daughters want their cousin kicked out of the apartment claiming she's using drugs again and is capable of violence. Who's telling the truth in this tale of a severely dysfunctional family?

So my last one for tonight I think, winding down after a heavy day writing to put something in the nonsense poetry section, it's called When the World Turned Gay - I hope you enjoy.

Here is my first, and only, photo entry. That completes the trifecta.
It's called - Magical Istria - A Photologue
Todays entry concerns the gorgeous and historic Mid-West river town of Galena, Illinois. See where Ulysses S. Grant had a home and Abraham Lincoln spoke from a hotel balcony.

I think I had this poem in the wrong category, so I'm not sure if it got submitted, even though I am changing the category and republishing it. It perhaps was disqualified, though, I don't know. But here it is, anyway.
