Here is my latest. Never created a photo gallery before. I hope you like it. http://cherylone.hubpages.com/hub/Crazy … eir-antics
I am not sure if I got this in in time, but here is the lastest installment of Big Nam. Let me know if you are interested in any more adventures. Thanks!

Feeling in the holiday spirit of thankfulness, I composed this little trinket of poetry. I hope you all enjoy it. It's not what I would call "traditional poetry," but it is certainly heartfelt.

Tried my hand at a bit more poetry--what do you think?

today's entry - http://annmackiemiller.hubpages.com/hub … e-Fat-Ball
Here are my 5 entries for 11-8-11. I am so enjoying what I have seen from others as well. There is so much talent out there.
http://oceansnsunsets.hubpages.com/hub/ … cro-Photos
http://oceansnsunsets.hubpages.com/hub/ … nk-Flowers

Oops, my mistake there. Those 5 entries were from 11/7/11, and I put 11/8/11 as that is the day they go into the drawing. Today I put in 4 more, for the 8th, to be entered into the drawing done on the 9th.
I am sure their computers know, and can tell what was posted each day by noon Pacific Time.
Because I don't plan to enter very many Hubs, here are the three I've entered to date, for those who are just waking up:
Thanks everyone - so many great entries thus far:
Fiction:

Poetry:

have I missed a post? - why are there no photo winners?
There have been, on the whole, fewer photo entries to be honest, so Daily Drawing wins are less likely to end up as photo entries! I'm still hoping one randomly wins soon!
thanks Simone but I thought there was a daily winner in each of the three categories
Aha! Sorry for the confusion. DD winners are for all categories, but there is a separate first, second, and third place prize for each category.
I think there is a lot of confusion surrounding this as it's totally different from the last few constests! There is no 'best' award daily - the daily drawings are simply random (from all qualified entries) - so if there are 50 entries in the day you have a 1 in 50 chance of winning $50.
The only prizes for quality are the final '3' prizes per category.
Hey everyone! Now that the first week of the contest is over, I want to remind y'all to keep adding the contest tag to entries and remember to include at least 500 words and only properly attributed and used photos. We've seen a bunch of entries missing these things and it's a shame that they should be disqualified!
If I'm only using photos I've taken, or private family photos, do I need to identify them as such or identify them in any manner?
Hi Mickey, what I do is when your in edit mode of the photo you will see 'source' I type my name, it displays quite faint, but I believe people like to see who the photographer is, as well as it is an informal, probably not even legal, but form of copyrighting your work. Plus you can always add a quick description. PS still waiting for more poetry
Boy I loved those shots, warmed my heart bravo
kimberlyslyrics offers a great tip, and we do recommend that you attribute your own photos (especially if they look professional) just so that we can be sure they're yours, but if they're clearly your own photos, you do not need to add any caption or source if you don't want to. Your copyright is implicit, and the photo (so long as it's yours) will be compliant with our contest requirements
For one of mine I used a photo taken by my sister who is a photographer. She gave me permission to use it, but I was unsure the best way to credit the photo. Does this sound right:
Used with the express permission of photographer, Kayla Anderson. Do not copy.
Source: Kayla Anderson Photography
I linked the source to her website, though the photo is not actually published there.
Good morning/evening everyone - depending on your time zone
Here is my another story:

I'm working on 'part 2' of my photo gallery "Photos That Tell A Story" . . . I might have some other poems around or in me, if I post them, I'm doing so for you. And, I left a comment, actually a question, for you on your blog . . .
My first, and possibly only entry, unless inspiration surprises me: http://sagebrush-mama.hubpages.com/hub/ … Meaningful
Since my traffic is plunging again, I decided it couldn't hurt to keep new stuff on my Sagebrush_mama account.
Ooops...added a little more verbage so I'd hit the 500 word mark.

I hope you won't stop with this entry. It was delightful reading.
This entry is a little different for me, coming away from fiction about exploding worlds and nasty bitter babies born into the wrong family and suchlike, this piece is a true coming of age story, a comedy from my childhood in Scotland. I hope you enjoy.

Am writing a really short story in a somewhat different vein for my third entry.
Let me know what you think of it

Thankfully I had this one written and ready to go so I do not get behind on my end. I hope you all enjoy this one.
