Good afternoon hubbers. Here is my entry for the day in the photo gallery category: It's a cool collection of photos that I took and edited in the Photobucket special effects program. Don't throw your crummy photos away because it's amazing what you can do with them!:

Hi everybody. This is my third entry in the category of photo galleries, and the third in a series of articles about photography in Paris. But this one doesn't look at the great buildings in the whole; it looks at photographing the detail - the statues, the engravings, the stained glass windows, ceiling art etc. I really appreciate the chance to promote the pages in this way. Hope you enjoy!

I just posted a hub titled, "Photo Gallery of Salvation Army Mural & Hisoric Milford, Delaware," which is my home town. The Salvation Army Store looked like a drab white warehouse until the City of Milford, The Mispillion Art League and the Milford Museum collaborated on a project that created a stunning, block long mural which shows a pictorial history of Milford. Writing for HubPages is easy; it's just putting the stuff in the right category that stumps me.  I had a tough  time with my Costa Rica Hub.  It was a travel Hub, but I wanted to enter it in the photography.  Thank goodness, someone answer my question yesterday here, and I got it right!

Here is a story for children.  I went back and forth trying to decide if I should put this story in the creative writing or the poetry category because, while it does rhyme, it is written to be a kid's story and not so much a poem.  At least that is the way I see it, and it is formatted accordingly.  I hope it is as enjoyable a read to you as writing it was to me.

I have placed the word "contest" in the tags so I had hoped all the submissin woudl be reviewed but I will list them here just in case any of you expert writers have any comments or tips for a novice like myself.

      Welcome Shadesbreath..

I'm not sure that any of us can confirm or advise you if you are 'IN'.

For some reason.. we do not have the ability to see if our works are 'IN' as there are no confirmations or article lists of what was submitted and what was or wasn't disqualified (for whatever reason). Just a 'running' number.

It's a random thing I believe.. Is hope not a random thing also? smile

      Bon Chance.

      1. Simone Smith profile image84
Simone Smithposted 13 years agoin reply to this

It's not a random thing. We just culled out entries that did not properly use/cite images and meet the minimum word requirement. Hubs that were copied, not tagged properly, or categorized properly were also left out, since they didn't show up in our contest reports to begin with.
So Shadesbreath, that Hub should be fine!
