   I found out through FaceBook that Joan Robertson has died.  It is so sad to learn one of our own has died.  She was a dear, sweet lady.  My thoughts and prayers are with her family. RIP, Joan

      She is on my friend list at FB, and I also heard of her passing in her sleep. Sympathy to the family. Three folks on my friend list have died recently with one only in his 50s.  I wonder if the bad winter has affected health problems. May Spring come quickly.

      I'm sorry to hear that.  I was looking at her profile and she sounds like she has had an interesting and great life.  How neat we have things to read from her.  (I didn't know her.)  My heart goes out to Joan's friends and family, and prayers as well. Thank you for letting us know.

   I've just spent time reading some of Joan's hubs. What a shame I hadn't encountered Joan's work earlier. Her hubs are great! I am sharing two of them so others get a chance to appreciate her work - and learn some of her Granny Madge's tips.

    I am thinking of sending an email to her address here of condolence to her family. I would imagine a member of her family checks her email and would read it. 
    Any thoughts about that??
    
    It made me sad to see her response to a FaceBook post last night, that was dated Feb. 28.  It made me think of just how fast we can leave this earth.  Just reminded me to give my family an extra hug, cause I may not be here tomorrow.

       I so agree with you on how quickly things can change. Giving extra hugs and more kindness to loved ones is a good thing to do.
