         I don't know sis. Her son is being very secretive. I do know that she and her husband were suffering the effects of long COVID. A memorial is planned for the 13th of this month (would have been her 78th birthday).

      It's unfortunate. Nearly all of us when we heard she's sick, and hospiced pray for her recovery.                                  Sleep on Pamela, sleep.                                                  I pray God grant extral grace to her family to bear the lose.

      That's sad.  I know that Pamela Oglesby had been a writer here on HubPages since 2010.  In the summer of 2022, I communicated with her via e-mail after I had discovered that a website named "Smart Money Edu" had plagiarized several of her articles.  She responded back and thanked me for letting her know.  She, I, and others here on HubPages were fighting fiercely to get this "Smart Money Edu" website taken down, and finally we succeeded in doing so in spite of the difficulties in identifying its origin.
      
      Anyhow, in her communications with me, Ms. Oglesby was a most pleasant lady, and she seemed so full of life.  Finding out about her death really took me off guard.  My condolences go out to her family and all of her loved ones.  It's scary even to think how unexpectedly these tragedies can happen.

    this is so heartbreaking, Pamela was like a grandmother to me already, she enjoys reading my works too and would sometimes give good advice regarding health concerns. Pamela has shared very helpful curated health articles that im sure many has benefit from. My prayers for her soul and her family. I'm gonna miss her a lot. Thank you for sharing this news to us Linda.

    Somehow I missed this when you posted it.
    Pamela was a great person and I miss her. 
    It's hard to believe she's gone especially since she had gotten home after suffering a severe battle with Covid-19 & was on the mend.
    I will always remember her trying her hand at poetry & it was great.
