we used to - but end up watching it too much before we go to bed. now, instead, we "read" on our iphones or ipads, which is essentially the same thing, unfortunately! can't get rid of the technology that easily!
my husband and i like to wind down before we go to bed and since we don't want to bother the other person with a light on, the iphone/ipad is working out fine.
yes with a built in dvd player, but it is mainly for when either me or my wife is ill then we can stay in bed and watch tv or dvd's.We either read or i will do a bit of hubbing before bed!!
no, better things to do when I go to bed
yes i have...well actually me and my hubby live in a studio flat only so the bed and the tv is not that far from each other
Naw, I live in the forest. But sometimes when I go on buns kicking rampages I pause to peek through windows to see what's going on with my favorite Idol.
sure do! however I find myself calling the cable company every time I want to watch TV. It gets shut off when not used much. I'm always with my laptop when I have free time
Yep. Like others have posted, we enjoy watching TV as we wind down sometimes. We also enjoy exchanging back rubs once a week or so. It's nice to watch something while we do that.
Yes but we only watch the news on it at night
I sure do and wouldn't have it any other way. Addicted...
There are 2 tv's in my house and none of them are in my bedroom or bath.
No way!! Its hard enough to drag hubby away from "call of duty/modern warfare" without it being in the bedroom. Beds is for....sleeping.
Definitely not. My husband tends to stay up into the wee hours watching Russian WW2 movies several times a month and it's annoying enough when he does it out in the living room, let alone sitting next to me while I'm trying to sleep.
I know that feeling. My husband watches science documentaries every time he returns from work, I don't think I would be able to stand watching it in the bedroom too. No bedroom is for relaxation and planning the family future
Actually, I wish there was one. The old man does sudoko till 3 in the morning, Russian films sound infinitely preferable.
No, we mostly use televisions to play video game consoles--and all of those are out in the living room.
Otherwise, it's streaming/downloading media and reading/listening to news.
Yes I do have a 20 Inch Samsung HD LCD TV in the bedroom, and a 32 Inch Panasonic in the living room.
BUT, I have not wired up an aerial to the one in the bedroom. It is solely for DVD use only, that is a rule in my flat - no Television in the bedroom. A snuggle in front of a DVD is another thing altogether.
Haha, only a small 14 inch one, in case I have girls back..its good to have as background noise in case of eves dropping housemates
We do, but seldom turn it on. I used to be so against it, but when you have kids who want to watch Hannah Montana all day, it comes in handy.
..yep...i have one..but only 'cuz i live alone...when i was married (for the umpteenth time)...it was never on...well maybe I should say once in a while to watch some 'good stuff'...
i turn it on now to fall asleep bascially...i can only watch it for about 10-15 minutes...that's it....
I would very much like to have NO TV on at all - but instead I have to hear it all day cuz the guy I work for has it on - plus he is slightly deaf so it is LOUD! So no, I don't have one in my bedroom, but it makes no difference since I have to hear the living room one until about 11 pm. I listen to my Ipod and turn on a fan and than drowns out some of the sound. But really, I hate TV. Some friends just gave me one but it is still out in my truck because I'm probably just gonna put it in storage. TV is basically evil, I'm convinced.
...i forgot you posted before that he likes it on all the time and loud.....then if i were you, i'd be tempted to thow it out the window!....too bad!....no wonder you hate it!
I read a study that showed that couples with a TV in their bedroom have half as much sex as couples without one. Just throwing that out there.
Had one, got rid of it as it cut down our catching up time. I think it was a good move ans will stick to it!
dont have one, have a home cinima downstairs but its nice to read (books not ipods and ipad) i will never have a tv in my bedroom.
I do but it s only used for dvds and I havent bought any new ones in months.
Yes but only in the last few years because my girl always wants to watch reality TV and i don't LOL I think its time to upgrade to a good TV too. I am using a small tube thats ready for the trash!
We have one TV, and it's in the living room. I've never wanted one in the bedroom. If we want to cuddle up with a movie, we do it on the couch. On a couple of isolated occasions, we've brought my laptop in the bedroom to watch one. If my husband is horizontal, he falls asleep though, so it's kinda pointless.
My husband and I have a total of five tvs. in the house. Two are in the bedrooms that used to be my Daughter's and Son's rooms. Yes, my husband and I have one in our bedroom, too. He watches that tv more than I because he has a comfortable chair I bought him, Christmasses ago. We just got a Big-Screen tv for the living room after not haing a tv in there for many years. He does need the relaxation after work because he works hard everyday. And the last tv is downstairs in the family room because that is where we went to watch tv as a family when our kids lived at home. And I believe the tv in the bedrooms helps to unwind after your day at school or work.
No. The Computer in the bedroom is enough stim to my brain. And I even have a tough time turning this off at night.
I watch the tv in the bedroom occasionally when I'm really tired and want to relax but it's almost always off by 11 p.m. and then I read. In the summer time I usually don't watch tv at all and tend to read a lot.
no, i have no t.v , but i have my PC in my bedroom. there is no need of T.V because i have my mobile and ipad, i like listen musing before sleep every night.

This is the first time in my adult life that I don't have a TV in the bedroom. Sometimes I miss it, but I find I am able to go to sleep faster without the darn thing. So, I guess it is a good thing!
Never ever gave it a thought. The answer is NO and never will be.
I don't have a TV in my bedroom, but my computer is in there. It really sucks, because my bed is very close to it. My 6'2" 180 pound partner feels the need to be on the computer when I am trying to sleep, and often stumbles and falls onto the bed, and either wakes me up, or crushes me in the avalanche!
We live in a very tiny two bedroom apartment, and there isn't very much room for anything. I think I may have 2 feet of floor space available in my bedroom, so it makes moving around very difficult for overly large people.
But, having the computer in my bedroom, also allows me a little privacy, when the TV is on. he is watching Preditor in the living room right now, and has the volumes on so loud, I can hear it like I'm sitting right there. But, like I said, our apartment is very very small.
No, I have a strict no electronics policy in my bedroom. The alarm clock runs on batteries.
NO! Thank goodness! I was so glad when we got rid of our TV in the bedroom. It's much better for our married life!
Yes, we have 4 TVs in the house...living room, bedroom, downstairs and son's room...if my fella is watching the game in the living room, I can watch what I like in comfort in the bedroom - and it helps him fall asleep at night...
I would, but my bedroom is too small even for a small one. A wall mounted one is out of the question, since the walls are steal-concrete. Actually, it's not a very nice room to be in, or to feel comfortable in. I just go there to sleep.
I have. It's not good I know. So every time I go sleep I open the window.
Love to watch my DVR at night. Usually space or nature programs.
same as kmackey... I think its 50". When the kids and my husband go to sleep I get to watch the shows I have to DVR during the day. That is when I can have uninterrupted me time.
no i don't want a TV in my bed room, i use my PC to watch movies in my bedroom.
I used to have one but no more due to the technology,we have better technology than TV nowadays. I pray instead, and if Manchester United is playing then i have to go to my computer and watch there than putting TV in my bedroom. Some people may like that sort of life but not me.
I have one in my room. I like to lay down and watch TV, it helps having it in the room because I suffer from insomnia. I know I can go to another room and watch it instead but I like to be able to lay next to my husband even if I can not sleep.
i do not have tv in my room, though i plan to buy one. right now, what i have is a large computer screen, and yes i do watch dvd in my room, sometimes
Hell No.
The break up of 50% of all marriages.
In the pub, well yes a TV for sports games.
come now . i do have one its relaxing to watch tele in bed . . besides it can come handy aswell if you not alone

Do you believe in Ghosts, Spirits, Demons, etc. ?And if so, is it because your religion attributes these to actually being real? The only reason I can see someone of non belief wholly believing in ghosts and such is due to actually experiencing them rather than taking the word of someone else that...

Do you think it is harmful to eat and watch TV at the same time? It's an old tale that eating while watching TV leads to over-eating and weight gain. Is that true for you? Why would you or wouldn't you watch TV while eating?
