What do Trump protesters think they'll gain now - the election is over and Trump won?

Post-election riots, violence, and demonstrations are occurring in Liberal cities across the nation.  Illegal immigrants waving Mexican flags are demanding unearned American rights.  The media is ginning up stories by the minute attempting to create a false panic.  What do these people think will happen?  A re-vote in which Hillary wins?

To fully understand the mentally of these protesters, you need to delve deeply into sociology and  the field psychiatry including Psychopathy. A root cause of leftism is narcissism. Narcissism is an excessive self love that causes those who have it to look down on others. We also see this syndrome present with  psychopathy.

Now you have to understand that many leftists tend to deeply identify and deify their leaders. The defeat of Hillary no doubt threatened their already fragile ego's. For a praise and power hungry leftist, Hillary's defeat must have been seen as a personal rejection.

For the narcissistic, the impatient, the bored, the infantile, the leftist religion adherents and the hostile, protesting and riots  provide cover for anger, hatred, bigotry and antisocial behavior.

You'll notice that their causes are usually hypocritical, deny reality, and often imbecilic. This points to the behavior of  narcissists, excessive egoism and  a sub-clinical form of psychopathy. Most leftist use oversimplified slogans and have little interest in whether their policies work. This denial of reality is seen in many religions and cults, the left indulges with religious fervor to achieve a egalitarian utopia.

I don’t think you’ve been delving as deeply into the field of psychiatry as you think you have, sport.

Aime-  I'd have to write a multi page article to fully cover the subject but there are many other reasons for people becoming leftists or voting for them, that aren't as pernicious. I did mention impatience and boredom to being factors. Family, regional, occupational background also play a major role in political preferences. Academia is the strongest area of leftist control, many young people are influenced, life experience usually makes one more conservative.

My wife and I come from solid Republican families and have become less conservative over a long life rather than more so.

When you meet someone so disabled they can't even walk or talk, you realize not all poor people are lazy bums.

When you meet a gang rape victim so traumatized that she can't come out of her room, much less get a job, you learn the need for welfare and social services.

When you are personally close to a gun massacre, you understand the 2nd Amendment doesn't mean everyone should get an AK-47.

How strange that you didn’t start with that and instead went directly to psychopathy (which seems to be one of the most overused labels flying around these forums lately).

What kind of life experience do you figure makes people more conservative?

What they THINK they will gain is Trump's removal removal from office.
However, protesting without using AT LEAST the PREAMBLE of the Constitution does nothing. If the entire constitution was used, according to Amendment 10, by the protestors they would write up a petition and submit it to the appropriate department for correcting.

      With that said...
Every department head, all of congress, all Supreme Court Justices, many intelligence, investing and national security personnel would all be dismissed from their jobs with the first four being impeached and never to serve in any position in government again because of 9/11/2011. Being that 9/11 was Treason and that law reads "Treason against the United States consist only in levying War against them [the United States], or in adhering to their enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort." By that reading anyone who knew 9/11 was in the works - which would include Congress, Bush and cabinet, Supreme Court Justices and many in the FBI and CIA, are guilty of treason.

Therefore, I expect Trump's Impeachment for pardoning Obama who pardoned Bush.

Yes some actually believe they can still get Hillary in as President.  Some may be getting paid to protest.  Some are afraid they will lose their free cell phones and have to pay back their student loans.  Many were counting on instant amnesty and now that won't happen.  And some just like to protest and destroy property for the fun of it.  This will never make sense to anyone with a logical mind.

This is the symptomology of being sore losers.  They WANTED Hillary as president, not Trump.  They are totally unhinged to the point of insanity at the fact that Trump has won.  They believed in the negative hyperbole propagated by the media about Trump.  They wanted to continue America as is.   They are fearful of what Trump will bring to the American table.

Yes, they are losers in more ways than one.  They are also immature.  Trump has the credential to really improve America.  He is an unconventional politician who refuse to play the traditional political game.  He also asserted that he has the socioeconomic wherewithal to improve America.   Leave them to their infantile rants, it won't do them any good.  This is analogous to the Occupy Movement years ago.   My advice: HOPE ALL OF THEM LEAVE AMERICA, we DON'T WANT the unappreciative spoiled & entitled brats.   Whine, whine, whine.............Talk about being delusional.   Twilight zone & beyond!!!!

We know from Wikileaks and Project Veritas the Democrats had a number of non-profits acting as fronts specifically to organize protests and riots. They hired people who looked as sympathetic as possible to create violence at Trump rallies to then blame on conservatives ( old woman with an oxygen tank comes to mind.)
You have new protests in NYC, LA, Chicago, NOLA and other Democrat strongholds ... all organized by MoveOn and other liberal groups. This is yet another organized liberal violent protest.
Not all the liberal bullying is organized by the left's elite. I'll agree that the group of blacks that pulled a white guy out of a truck and beat him are volunteers, the girl beat up at her high school for supporting Trump by a Mexican (who said her support for Trump meant she was racist, giving the Mexican a right to beat her in self defense) and other such cases are grass roots racist, fascist violence by the left.
But all the mob violence beyond a small group of friends IS organized by the same ones who proudly attacked Trump supporters in mass in San Jose as the police chief told officers to stand down and shut down a Trump rally in Chicago. These are the same people who organize at college events to block hallways or attack conservative audience members, all while saying that they are the victims if anyone tries to push through or defend themselves.
These liberal cry bullies are crying for a police crack down, and every highway blockage, every mass attack on whites for being white and presumed conservative, every "die whites die" graffiti as seen in NOLA will be seen by more of the public as justification to do so.

Some of them are illegal aliens, ignorant Americans (See CA)

Some of them are hard core progressives/socialists, etc. that want to see revolution, blood spilt, cops murdered, etc.

But anything, ANYTHING other than the acceptance of our democratic system and newly elected President is essentially instigating or inferring the want of a illegal, violent coup.

Those who plan on acting upon any plan for revolution or coup, should be treated just like any other violent terrorist would be.  Just like any enemy to the nation, foreign or domestic, deserves to be.

The answer is simple as dissent is the essence of democracy, but the demonstrator is egged on by the 4th estate which lost face by giving slanted forecasts against Donald.Photos are also presented as if there are thousands when there are just a few hundred. It's all orchestrated and presented in the wild hope that Donald can be thrown off the Oval office. It's a wild dream and bound to fail.

Unfortunately our education system, our news media outlets and the progressive agenda has caused a large number of people to become ignorant of how a Democratic Republic works. The generation we have now have not been taught true American  history and most are completely ignorant of how our constitution works and how the government is suppose to work. They have been fed rewritten history and falsehoods that have gone above and beyond to make America seem as if it's a horribly racist awful country that is to blame for all the ills of the world.  So it stands to reason these misguided people actually believe they can have a 'do-over' because they don't like the results.

If America is such a terrible country to live in and such a racist country, why are millions of people trying to come live here?

Those who are not legal citizens have NO right to protest our elections or demand rights they are not entitled to because they are not LEGAL citizens. There were a lot of Americans who were not happy when Obama was elected for two terms, but people didn't go out and riot, protest, encourage assassination and violence against his supporters. And we didn't demand a 'do-over'. We didn't like it but we accepted it because that is how a freedom works.

These protesters are in reality protesting having the freedom to vote in a democracy. Which is ridiculous when before the results were in, the were saying it would be damaging to our democracy if anyone didn't accept Hillary as president should she have won. The media is doing nothing but promoting violence and rioting at this point. The situation is how it is because of their biased dishonest reporting.

Those who all are protesting and participating in these protest, they need to understand Obama was president for 8 years at that time people are also having objection. But they didn't come on roads for riots , violence and demonstrations. They didn't ask for anything, they just accepted him as there president.
What make you think if re-voting will happen  than Hillary win? If you are that much sure now  than how Trump wins. Trump has more supporter than you total are. So no point of re-election.
So stop damaging your own property, or at the end of this you will pay for these damage not directly but by taxes. May be government increase taxes to recover its city damage.

So the person who win, all need to support him. Let him run the country  he is chosen by us.

Actually, people accepted Obama because he didn't run his campaign based off of hate, like Trump did. People are protesting Trump because he is a bigot. Also, Trump does not have more supporters than Clinton. That's why she won the popular vote.

By nature liberals are very emotional people who need the support of others.  At those protests they are surrounded by like minded people and they feel better.  They also want their voice heard and that's about all for the most part.  The trouble makers are just losers who wan't nothing more than to bully the police and destroy things.  Thugs should be brutalized by the police as much as possible but the rest are just good democrats who feel very passionately about their many causes and way of life.

  15. RJ Schwartz profile image93

After watching this nightly occurrence, and the discovering the irony that most of the protestors did NOT even vote, America is left to decide where we go from here.  It's obvious that mayors of Liberal cities and indoctrinators at schools everywhere are in full support of the protest, but for how long?  It should be obvious that nothing they do will change things, and if they choose to escalate the protests to a higher degree of violence, it would probably work against them.  The sour grapes approach and all the baggage of Hillary Clinton being absolutely demolished in the election must be driving those on the left crazy.

I expect that if it keeps up much longer, we'll see more Democrats move to the center or even right - supporting the "adults" in the room and leaving the snowflakes and special interest groups to their own agenda.

I completely agree with what you are saying. I understand protests and fighting for their rights and voices to be heard but when violence starts to take over the streets that is when I draw the line. I don't care what the color of your skin is, I would be just as disappointed if they were white and acting in the same manner. Trump was elected the President of the United States by the same system that elected Barrack Obama eight years ago. Our society, in particular my generation, needs to grasp the concept that our system is put in place for a reason and the whoever comes out as the champion earned the place to do so.

  17. Sychophantastic profile image86

The short answer is: people are scared. They're scared that Trump has a close adviser in Steve Bannon who runs a web site that's expressed anti-semitism and other racist views. They're scared that Trump will put together a deportation force and round up people. They're scared that Roe v. Wade will be overturned. They're scared that Trump's attitude toward women will translate into increased sexual assaults.

That said, if recent reports are to be believed, many of these protesters didn't vote (this conclusion is based off one report, so I don't want to generalize, but it seems reasonable to extrapolate).

I mean, if you're protesting but you didn't vote and now you're scared, you might want to look up the meaning of irony because no vote was effectively a vote for Trump if you didn't want Trump to win.

    1. CindyLWoods profile image61
CindyLWoodsposted 22 months agoin reply to this

Steve Bannon is not antisemitic or racists nor is the news organization he worked for. I have personally read their stories. The reports of him being racist or antisemitic are completely false. False information fuels the fear not facts.

Then you are brainwashed or simply don't understand what it means to be antisemitic and racist because Bannon is both and/or promotes such things. People who read Breitbart support antisemitism and racism. Those are facts.

Not sure they are  protesting to actually gain anything. It could be they hope to show they just do not agree with the election out come.  It's a shame that it came to this. I hope we can all just calm down and see what comes of a Trump white house. There will be time to protest and complain if he  actually does something to harm us or America. I voted for Trump, and want to give him the chance to do some of what he promised. As I did President Obama, which I did not vote for, and was very disappointed when he won.  Could I bad mouth him, Yeah I could, but I won't. I assume he did the best he could.  Time to move on...

I think it's important to remember that news stories are often reported at surface level. No matter who is behind these movements, be it Craigslist or George Soros, what gets reported is shaped by what sells.

With over 50 million people having voted for Hillary Clinton, news agencies know that they will get good ratings reporting on the riots, no matter how large or fervent they are. I really do think this comes down to the media's agenda.

Pierre Bourdieu noticed this phenomenon back in 1998, so it's not surprising to see it now. However, no matter how common-sense it is today, I would recommend giving his book a read, which I've written a little bit about here: http://hub.me/akN6F

I think the riots will calm down after the media stops covering them as much. Once they become redundant and unprofitable, the media will move on to the next thing that maximizes ad revenue, such as Trump's more recent speeches: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_fDFCcQH2jE

    1. RJ Schwartz profile image93

This is completely wrong. Media doesn't make money from riots. It loses money. No advertiser says, please put my ad on your riot coverage. Media simply responds to events such as a president-elect who says he knows more about Isis than the generals.
