   Hello everybody, hope you had a great weekend; mine was literally "heavenly" as I spent my weekend doing the three things that I absolutely adore: partying, sunbathing and parachuting!  Nothing better to start the week than having spent a couple of days doing what you like the most.  So after a controversial week with 22 entries for last week's  LGBT issues HubMob, this week is going to be a week about YOU.  Yes, this week's topic is YOUR hobbies and interests.
   
   
   Tell us all about your favourite things, your idea of a blissful time, whether it is a calm afternoon reading a book in your garden or surfing wild waves on the ocean.  We all want to hear about your hobby, we all want to know what makes you "tick".  Give us some tips, share your most amazing moments, introduce us to an unknown form of entertainment, tell us why are you interested in your hobby, the benefits and drawbacks and how to get started.  This is the week to share your passion with the world!
   
   Some ideas for a HubMob hub are:
   
   Collecting: stamps, coins, dolls, photos.
   Dance as a hobby.
   Sports you love watching or doing.
   Arts and crafts
   Gardening
   Singing. Are you part of a chorus?  Do you sing or play in a band?
   Model building
   Juggling
   Amateur astronomy
   Reading
   Writing
   Cooking
   Extreme sports
   Photography
   
   To join this week's HubMob please follow the steps below:
   
   1. CLICK THIS LINK and answer the Request.
   
   2. Choose a relevant title for your HubMob to get a good ranking in the search engines, make your title relevant to your hub content and AVOID starting your title with "Weekly HubMob"

      Hi, you can copy the graphic to your computer and then use it from there. Once saved to your PC just search in your computer from the photo capsule, et voila!

      Hi, DoodleLyn!  Easy as pie to add the RSS feed.  Add an RSS capsule to your hub, copy and paste the feed link that Princessa put in the first post of this thread, click save.  Voila!
      
      You have a couple of options that you can change.  You can choose how many titles show.  The default is 3 but many people choose 8.  Go with how ever many you want.  You can also pick between full description, shortened description and first sentence being displayed.  Just play around with the options until you find a layout you like.

    I'm working on a Hub about my Hubbie's hobby! He makes chain mail from coat hangers. Its on the way. Maybe tomorrow we'll be done if he'll just pose for a few photos.

    OK, it's done and posted.  I tried pasting the hubmob logo to my computer, then calling it up through the picture link, but it couldn't read it.  Is it because I have a Mac, and if so, how can I get the hubmob logo?
    
    I would also like to add some pictures from the internet, but had the same problem.  Hence, I have lots of text that could use some spacing.

       An alternative for the HubMob graphic is to right click on it and 'copy image location' and use that link.

    ha ok so i figured the rss thing out!  Here is my hub on hot to negotiate bargains at markets and so on!  I love being able to find a great deal and negotiate the price...it makes me satisfied that the purchase i have is not frivolous

                Thanks, Shirley - you guys are pretty amazing too.
                Hub Pages has been a real life line for me. Usually I just crawl in a hole and pull it in after me. "Usually" ha! sounds like I've had lots of practice, lol - well, some, but not tons,
                I was told I should try to journal about it all, but that has never appealed to me. Too much like navel gazing, I guess. To my mind, even pain needs to produce something useful, else what good is what we go through?.
                I take some time off to scream and kick the walls, and then I write some more. The discipline of writing for others, rather than just blatting it all out, helps me maintain some perspective and keep going.

          Oh!  Anjalic, I am SO sorry!  I will fix it right away where I can.  The only place it may be a problem is in the poll.  If anyone has voted and I make a change, it erases the votes.  So, if it's still on the poll, that means I couldn't change it.

    Which actually brings up a question I've thought about eveyr time I miss the hubmob...is it really bad form to "cheat" and add a hub to the hubmob request AFTER the week is up?
