I thought it might save space if everyone who was going to leave for greener pastures did their flouncing announcements in one place, namely here.
Please fill out the following form when flouncing:
Handle_____________ Sock Puppet(s)_______________
I'm flouncing because (check all that apply): ____the God Pushers are mean to me. ____the Atheists are mean to me. ____the mods aren't tough enough on _________ (insert names). ____the Mods are Nazis. ____HubPages killed my goldfish.
I'll be back: ____when hell freezes over. ____when I get banned from HubPages. ____when I'm sure everyone here has forgotten I told them to go screw themselves. ____when I sober up (that one's for you BC )
On returning my handle will be: ____the same as my current handle. ____the same as my current handle with a '2' at the end. ____completely different until a Mod outs me.
____I will make no secret that I'm still lurking and reading everything about me.
____I would like you to pretend you don't know that I'm still lurking around.
____I'll be back under other names immediately.
Additional re-hashing of all that has gone on here can be found at at: ______________________ under the name of _____________________
"deriding" seems a little harsh (although I'm not, of course, debating the definition). In this case, I like to think it's more a matter of a little good natured humor about something that does ring a bell quite often.
