   I thought it might save space if everyone who was going to leave for greener pastures did their flouncing announcements in one place, namely here.

   As much as I'd like to take credit for this I can't, I stole it and adapted it for HubPages from elsewhere.

       "deriding" seems a little harsh (although I'm not, of course, debating the definition).   In this case, I like to think it's more a matter of a little good natured humor about something that does ring a bell quite often.
