As a writer, I completely agree with you. Welcome Matt, to the discussion.
I have more than five things I dislike, so among them off the top of my head now spontaneously are:
#1 cold mornings
#2 driving on the federal interstates and state highways where I live, San Diego county
#3 people who grimace at me when I smile and say hello
#4 The damn weeds that have the arrogance to grow when it is actually raining and continue after
#5 and, a political broadcast interrupting my morning game shows
1. Fundamentalists
2. Anything to do with U.S. politics
3. Spam
4. Factory farming
5. Social media algorithms
1) BULLYING!!!
2) Powers-that-be making excuses for immoral and criminal behavior.
3) Chronic negativity. Whenever someone tries to bring up something positive, it gets shot down.
4) Victim blaming.
5) Keeping people ignorant, and therefore vulnerable.
That makes me not to imposed confidence in such people.
1. Politicians who take tax money away from those who earned it and use it to buy votes.
2. Politicians who don't follow laws they impose on the rest of us.
3. People who call you "hater" just b/c you don't agree with them.
4. Onions
5. Kale.
Why do some persons dislike onions? That baffle me. Have they ever eat a salad? Onions is sure to go into the stuff. I ate my African brand called Abacha...stuffed with onions and other greens. Have these folks eat rice with stew? Or ate a bowl of soup? What about potatoe or yam porridge? Onions is one of the best vegetable besides garlic that nature endored mankind with.

3. Irrelevant forum threads
4. Incomplete lists
Yes. But it lacks the completion of five listings.
I have more than five things that I dislike, but some of them (in no particular order) are:
1. The idea that people’s religious or spiritual beliefs make sense for them and therefore must make sense for everyone else
2. The rise of AI and the possibility that it will have a negative effect on writers
3. Health problems that are difficult to treat
4. Cruelty to animals
5. Poverty or financial difficulties
Yes, most of those dislikes can be common and greatly differing. It's human beings expressing themselves at their best.
Here are the five things I hate

4. Spammers who open up old threads in forums
1. Unkept promises
2. Hidden agenda in a helping hand
3. Hating other religions/communities
4. Borrowing but not returning
5. Exhibiting attributes indicative of unrepairable personality
"Unrepairable Personality " should be in the next DSM!
1. Rutabaga omelets

I hate cruelty to humans, animals, and property.
I loathe bad manners.
I hate war.
I hate people who think their opinions are made in gold and should be followed. Country girls are not well-trained followers—especially me.
People who honk their car horns one second after the light turns green.
