Yippee, I just checked into My Account and realised that some time in the last 24 hours I hit 3,000,000 views. In fact I am now at over 3,002,000. Traffic is still slower than usual because of Pandas etc or it would have been a few weeks ago, but I got there in the end.
Well done Misty! Just in time for the Jubilee celebrations. I've checked my stats and I'm just short of 800,000 so I have a long way to go to catch you. Sometimes (with Panda etc.) it seems like I must be going backwards traffic-wise!
Thanks everyone, I am delighted to have reached another significant milestone, let's just hope the next Panda run pushes everyone's traffic in the right direction for a change and more people can start getting into the millions with their viewing figures
Thanks Julie, I hope the trend continues, although traffic is way lower than it was back on Oct-Feb. Still, never look a gift horse in the mouth, I am very happy to have hit 3,000,000 in spite of Panda.
Thank you again everyone. I am truly touched at the warm congratulations everyone has been posting here. I hope I will get to return the compliment to all of you when you hit your own major milestones, be them higher or lower than 3,000,000
Here I was happy to get (she whispered) 10,000 views. Now I look off into the distance and see your 3 million plus views... That goal is lost over the curvature of the Earth! But we all know it's there, because you actually did it!
Thanks again to Gulf Coast Sun, ALL4Jesus and Healthy Pursuits, I am far from the highest number of views on HP though, and from what I can recall certain Hubbers are well over this number, (possibly closer to 10,000,000). What it is important to remember is that whilst views are great, earnings are better so focus more on earnings than views. My actual earnings (and daily views) are way down from where they were at the end of 2011, but I keep hoping this will change for the better.
Thanks JKenny, trust me, it takes time, but as your hubs age the process gets faster. At time of posting this for instance, I am now on over 3,035,000, which just goes to show how fast the figures can rise if you are getting the traffic (check my original post date). All that said my traffic is way down to where it was back in October to February, and then I had about three times as much daily traffic on my hubs.
I am sure you will soon see your traffic building nicely as your hubs age
There's no badge for it, but I hit 5 million views slightly earlier than anticipated. I edited a ton of hubs a few months ago and it really boosted my traffic (plus the niche sites help!)Now on to 10 million views... that'll be how many years?
I realize that this number is not considered as particularly high especially after writing here for over a year and having close to 50 hubs. Yet I feel it is an accomplishment, at least for me. We all have to determine what makes us feel we have achieved something, independent from...
thought I'd toot my own horn..Ive seen others do it hereIve been quite please during the weekdays at recieving 500 visits a day, got some catching up to do now after falling asleep last night! Hard work with a day job also
I just reached this milestone a few hours ago. In May, 2013, I had two Hubs. I reached 100,000 views on October 30, 2013, with 35 Hubs. Onward to one million! (Do you want to know what this forum post is really about? It's about the fact that SEO works on HubPages, because 99% of my...
