    Hi people!
What do you have to say about the world ending May 21st 2011? I'm so sorry to raise your emotions negatively. But this is a discussion I feel I should post in this forum. I know this will help somebody somewhere in the globe.

So what's your views "The World wil end May 21st 2011." That's about 50 days more to live in the flesh if it's true. How are you preparing for the truth or the great hoax.

I think you are deeply disturbed and misguided if you believe this.

If you are trying to make reference to the end of the
"MYAN CALENDAR" You are off by a year and 6 month as their calendar won't end until December 21, 2012.

Either way the world will not come to an end and there will be no makor calamity to worry about.

        Matthew 24:6

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

Is Mr. Camping a prophet? who ordained him and what should we do if it never comes to pass as he says????

        2 Peter 3: 10

But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

People let these make believers and heretics blow there mind, i've heard others pefore proclaiming that GOD is coming such and such days and they die and Christ is yet to come.

There are still things to be fulfilled before the coming of the LORD and there's no way May 21st is the end. What people needs to do is to make themselves ready whether he comes tonight. Not wait until May 2oth to change their rotten lives.

[7:188] They ask thee respecting the Hour: ‘When will it come to pass?’ Say, ‘The knowledge thereof is only with my Lord. None can manifest it at its time but He. It lies heavy on the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you but of a sudden.’ They ask thee as if thou wert well acquainted therewith. Say, ‘The knowledge thereof is only with Allah; but most men do not know.’

      http://www.alislam.org/quran/search2/sh … ;verse=187

Nobody knows when the Hour or End of the world will take place; but it is going to happen sometimes for sure; as it once started so it will end; very naturally as set by the Creator-God Allah YHWH.

The question which is more pertinent for us human beings is; when we will get peace within and peace without? What efforts we do for that?

Can't say I've heard this particular "prophecy" but...if it's going to end, it's going to end.  Not sure we'll have much control over it.  For that matter, if it ends on April 2, 2011, I'd say we better all live today like it's the last one we'll ever have.  But, I believe that about every day.

Micadeolu, don't waste your time with this nonsense. People have been trying to predict the end of the world since mankind been in existence and they have gotten it wrong every time. The Bible doesn't specifically give dates for anything.

I think that if you genuinely believe that your world is going to end on the 21st May 2011, then statistically there's probably a fair chance because you'd have to be such a moron to believe that in the first place, that you might have a pretty high chance of walking infront of a bus.

    This is all garbage...

I was born and raised in a doomsday cult myself...  My great grandfather and grandfather were on the cover of Life Magazine back in 1945 because of their predictions about the end times... Charles and Richard Long were quite well known, and are still written about from time to time today..

When it didn't come, the "end" message turned into a "delay" message....which lasted until the death of my grandfather last year...

While I opted out of this lunacy when I was 18, I still have family who believe fervently that the "end" is coming...

Our end is coming...and it results in a trip 6 feet under...

The psychological harm that cults like this cause on their members should be deemed cruel and unusual punishment....and I feel the worst for any kids growing up in this environment...
I lived as a youth believing that I would never reach adulthood, and that I would never have to deal with real responsibilities....  The "Lord was coming"..... My parents never saved money for their kids' college education...there "was no more time." When my sister was getting ready to head off to college, she was criticized for doubting the truth of "the message"....for who among the "faithful" would invest in "worldiness" that was about to be destroyed?

It was all nonsense.....  Having lived that life, I look to those in this and other similar cult atmospheres, and I know what lies ahead of them....when they are proven to be false prophets...

    Poor guys..

If the world did ever end, it would be something igniting the hydrogen in the atmosphere. Seeing as we would probably burn to death within about a second, I'm not really fussed, not long enough for flashbacks or regret. Maybe I could spend that one second 'finding' Jesus, and then I can go and live in 'heaven' where we can all have conversations about the possible date that heaven will end. If they have politics and banks in heaven, I'd rather just incinerate.

I worry about the people who could be led into believing this. I can't imagine how they'll feel when it doesn't happen. Cults have killed themselves when their prophesies didn't come true. I just hope they can take it in stride and not do something else crazy on May 22nd.

I was driving here in Toronto the other day, and someone actually spent the money to put up a billboard sign encouraging people to get ready for the end on May 21.

As that date falls on a long weekend here in Canada, and as my son's baptism is on the 22nd, that time won't work for me.

I hope the powers that be reschedule, because I already put down a fairly large deposit at the restaurant.

Matthew 24:36No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
People when we are still here on May 22, don't say that God is wrong again. This is man messing up God's Words. I am sure those that believe in Jesus believe he was and is very intelligent. Don't you think that he would have been able to figure this out on his own. But according to the passage above he saids that he does not even know the time when the end would be. he just tells us about the season (The parable of the fig Tree) the time when the Israelites gather back to Israel. This happened in 1948. Because of this we know that the time is near. That is all we know. This is a false statement and might cause those that believe in this to turn away from God.
Just remember this NO WHERE IN THE BIBLE DOES IT SAY THE WORLD WILL END ON MAY OF THIS YEAR.
This person that has came up with this date already said that the rapture would happen in 1992 and we are still here. don't put this false prophecy on God. The rapture is a different hub altogether.
